Hacking is Bad for your Health [closed] Tadeo_01
It was time that I do my job after a long break. I would be hacking into a certain casino's documents so that I could blackmail them with the contents. This mission was almost suicide, but I had to try. I would just stay spirit until I got into a shadowy area with a computer to use my hacking skills. They Vault was the name of the place that I was going to be going into. secruity was going to be tight I was told.

"Hah, it's time that I start."

I would slowly start walking up to the place, but I had a card that was "faked" (even though I was about 100 years old, despite my appearance) so that I could enter. I would go up to the front door and hold up the I.D. so that I could get in. I would wait with patience and had a straight face.

The Vault is at lowered security since this is just a normal day. The guard at the main entrance smiles at the young man and guesses that he must have just turned 21 and happily making his first entrance into the renown casino of East City. He doesn't pay much attention to it and just smiles and tells him, "Happy Birthday, youngster." He waves him in before turning his attention to a sketchy looking man behind him. The man is detained at the entrance and questioned.

The layout of the casino has the Cashier Cage towards the back and off to the right a bit. You notice cameras all over the place, but primarily the "Eye in the Sky" cameras. There is a lounge off to left at one of the bars inside the casino. Directly to your left is the concierge and registration desks. To the right are the rental cars as well as the Casino Entertainment Desk. You will notice directly in front of you is a sports car on display and a beautiful young woman dancing on a stage behind it trying to lure people to play a roulette style game where the grand prize is the car. If one knew what to look for they would notice small icons decoratively embedded into the booth surrounding the wheel. OCD observation would note the same icons embedded into most of the tables. Since the Overseer is a magic user himself, he knows full well that magic can be used to remove the skill and luck out of gambling. That is bad for business. There is a set of roving guards that make constant rounds around the pit. The lounges seem to have pretty light security by them.

The man taking charge of the door would allow me in- it seemed like they must have had light security today- not that it mattered all that much to me, since security would be much of a waste with their simplistic bullets. And no human bindings would keep my form in place. I simply had to turn into a spirit. I would nod my thanks with a light smirk, one that he must have seen from many like myself as I would step in. Oh, I would take a quick look around at the place like all who first entered must have. A grand place to be sure, but that meant very little in the face of a spirit. I would continue on after a moment and look at the various things on the pit as I checked for a place with less cover. The sky cameras would be a splinter in my side, but the cameras seemed less focused in the lounge areas. But I would also notice the car and its glyphs. Arcane glyphs at that, not that I recognized them- all I knew was that they had magic power.

Turning from the car and the tables, the first thing I did was walk to the registration desk and do that- register. I had a real I.D. for this sort of thing, the fake was just quicker to get to and a force of habit. That they had no difference- the real and fake I.D.'s- was something that I was glade for, least those small details be captured on a camera. I would complete any background check with flying colors. I'd never been caught before, and I had a constant check on my record, besides that in the mysterious Division 12. More of a rumor to me, but what did I care about them?

No one really takes note of him after that. He is checked in and they ask if he would like a Player's Card for the Casino. If he did not want one, they would inform him that he is able to use any credit or debit cards or a financial bio chip if he has one of those implanted in his palm. Oh and you can connect to Realm 2.0 from any of the terminals. Now one might wonder why a casino allows a laptop and other cyberspace terminals inside the casino... why not? The server is encrypted and all that good stuff, so they see no reason to worry about anything.

Sitting inside the office upstairs behind a wall panel that looks like a mural is Wynn Trump, the Overseer and Chief Financial Officer of the Casino. He is also an officer in the Black Wing Syndicate, but tends to focus on their more legitimate operations like washing their illegal money thru the Casino. He is reviewing documents on his computer while his bodyguards just kind of hang out and monitor the security cameras in his office. Nothing was happening right now, so the other bodyguard is checking out if any clubs or lounges were having any events that would be good for a date.

I would look around after getting the Player's Card, since I didn't need to actually play. I got a few hundred dollars as my parents had said, and at first I would actually go to the tables. I would play a most frenzied came of Black Jack, playing quite a few hands. Some of these people were high rollers, even at the "cheep" tables. a few times I'd had to use 50 dollars, but I got a feel for the game, and I won a few hands. Not many significant ones, but I had known I would about half of my money. An acceptable loss with the money I would be taking in.

I would wave my hand and leave the game table, walking over to a far lounge area, that was near the front of the casino. I had used that playing as an excuse and would start my work now. I didn't bring my own laptop because that would be foolish, but theirs would do just nicely. I logged in properly, using the same fake name I'd been using the whole day, Mitsuna Kuroishi. slipping into the files that other computers were looking at was an easy hacking skill, and I was just keeping up the facade of tiredness. I would start looking at files that other computers would- I had seen another computer on, and I had re-directed the I.P. adress to that other computer, which I kept an eye on.

"(under my breath) Damn... are they stupid or something? I'm just sending these screen caps to my laptop in my bag outside. Well, you can only fool the weak-minded and dull-witted this easily I guess."

Wynn hangs up with some vendors after discussing some contracts. Not even two minutes after he hangs up with the vendor, the phone rings again and it is one of the Black Wing Syndicate's "debt collectors" for the Casino. The debt collector puts Wynn on holo mode so that he could appear in the man's home though he would be shadowed out. Looking at the bloody and battered man, Wynn speaks to him, "Why did it have to come to this? Hmm... the terms were fair and you saved your house and your marriage. I even gave you an extension of the repayment and still you insult me by not responding to my attempts to reach you. That's pretty damn rude to be honest." The man starts apologizing and the debt collector kicks him in the ribs again. The man tells Wynn that he has the money and the debt collector drags him over to the computer and pulls out a pistol. Wynn is quite calm when he tells to make his payment to the finance company and to add on a 10% interest fee to cover the expenses of sending the debt collector. He nods and transfers the money and Wynn thanks the debt collector for a job well done and goes back to watching Elgoog Business Network. The debt collector hangs up and tells the man that he doesn't ever want to have to visit again. The man, shaken and in pain, nods his head before the collector leaves.

Back at The Vault, a cocktail waitress wearing a corset and skirt that looks like a bank teller of any bank manager's fantasies. She asks if you would like something to drink since you played at the tables. The IP shift is swift, so it isn't noticed by security and no restricted networks had been accessed, so no red flags had gone up.

With the screen shots being sent by auto keys for that, I would simply look as though I was looking something up. I would look a bit more relaxed, but I did notice the woman coming, and would make a quick use, bringing up a quick internet page about tips on gambling. None of that other crap, and I would make it full screen before she got there.

I would smile and would ask her for a more common cocktail, and that would do for me. I would be more worried about the hacking then my type of drink. I would snap my head back to the screen as I would give a frown to the tips- some were stupid and some obviously for cheaters. I would scowl at that and click the button to go back to the search engine for another site.

Inside the security control room, the attendant who should have noticed the incorrect IP warning is currently busy using casino resources and equipment to watch inappropriate explicit material on his screen instead of paying attention to his duty. When he looks up the warning had already left. He goes back to watch the explicit content when the hidden camera would have a clear shot if he zoomed in on the screen. The other security specialist focuses on the pit and making sure that everything is on the up and up there. Noticing that there is a duo working on pairs at one of the poker tables, Wynn is notified.

The phone buzzes and when Wynn picks up, the specialist says, "Mr. Trump, it seems like there is a pair working together at the poker tables. Do you want security to pick them up?" Wynn asks, "How much did they start with and how much do they have now?" The security specialist tells him that they start out with around $25,000 each and now they collectively have around $170,000 b/c they are at the high limit tables and are cleaning out the whales there. Wynn nods and says, "I see. Don't alert security. Send a Harpoon to the table to play." The security specialist contacts one of the people who are paid to hang out around the casino until they are needed then they sit at high limit tables with suspected cheaters and their job is to clean them out. The security specialist turns and looks at other specialist and asks him what the hell is he doing watching explicit material on duty. He notices a warning about one of the terminals making prohibited data transfers. Stay in observation mode and look into that. They won't know that you're looking at their activity while you stay like that. Don't do anything to alarm him. Let him get into something that he really should not.

The codes that were being used on this 'hijacked' computer were very advanced- indeed, I'd had a hundred years to perfect this talent, but I made a slip up in one little letter- overconfidence as well is bad for your health in the underworld. And it would not take security long to notice, though I had resumed the looking up of poker tips. I was sure that the IP code was also working, and it should be. I moved only as I should appear to- this was the biggest job I'd undertaken so far, but my mistake was not something that I noticed- the screen whizzed by took quickly from my frantic fingers moving after the waitress had went away.

*Boop* A warning screen appears on Wynn's security terminal in his office. "Unauthorized access and data transfer." Looking at what he has open on his screen, this is not good. As he goes to contact security, they are in the process of contacting him already. "Sir..." Wynn interrupts, "I already know. Find the signal and then bring me whoever is responsible." The main security specialist focuses on the breach while the other specialist focuses on the pit now. "Time to earn my pay." The main security specialist was a hacker that Wynn went to school with and hired to keep things on track here at The Vault in order to keep him out of jail for hacking into a police database. Wynn and his team blamed it on a rival that they wanted out of the way and the security specialist has been working for Wynn enjoying his work ever since. The blessing for him about this whole ordeal is that this security breach will allow him to get an overhaul of the security systems that the casino uses.

Wynn does not suspect that the culprit is inside the casino tho he has his two bodyguard scan the security feeds anyway. He knew that he needed to entice the data thief with more info, so he accesses fabricated files that detail money laundering plans, assassinations that took place, and other criminal events. The catch is that they are all part of a training simulation that Wynn helped design for a security corporation. Still, it seems very legit and that is what matters. The security specialist is closing in on the signal. It is just a matter of time now.

It wasn't like I didn't have my own wards. I would watch carefully with my eyes and felt that I'd had enough. The bait its self was unneeded. I'd more then enough data. I would shift a bit, out of sight, and then I would smirk lightly as I would end my physical being in the world. Anyone that wasn't spiritually aware would be utterly confused: a male there one moment, then a moment later, gone. It would cause confusion amongst those that could and couldn't, as those that could see spirits would insist, while others were completely obvious. I'd used this tactic before, so I had to hope that none of the guards were able to see my. I would move carefully and stop in the pit, looking around to see if anyone was looking at me. Perhaps they could see me, an perhaps not.

The security specialist finally nails the signal and moves the cameras over to the lounge while alerting security that there is a security breach as the exit doors lock. Unfortunately when he gets to his video feed of the terminal, there is no one there. He rolls the security footage back and shows the lounge footage. He focuses on the computer that the breach came from, but it looks off. He expands out and picks up all of the terminals. All three people who were at terminals are to be picked up and questioned. One of them is guilty. At the same time that security images of the ones to be picked up are being sent to the security guards, the security specialist is still hard at work trying to hack into the receiver computer. He needed to either retrieve everything or fry the damn thing. Two of the security guards notice the man standing suspiciously in the pit. Perhaps, he is simply looking for someone. He would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that other pit security is just walking right by him and not trying to help him. The cocktail waitresses are even passing him by. One of the security guards walks over to help him since people are being quite rude to him. While walking over, he would check his phone and receive the security image. The other two patrons get picked up quickly and quietly by cocktail waitresses. The only one left is you! Dun dun dun...

The one trying to hack my computer would find himself hacking into what seemed an all too normal computer- besides the fact all the ecritptions that blocked his way, and he was now downloading a virus that he likely had no clue about. It was my own way to defend what secrets I had: I still had three other deals on the computer. Meanwhile, I noticed the guard that was looking directly at me, unlike the others that I could see. Well, this was rather annoying. But not like I couldn't deal with it. Placing a hand down, my eyes narrowed as I would speak under my breath. If I was the only one left, then I would take those others guards out and make a run for it. It wasn't likely those doors were spirit-protected. Just before my lips opened I would "pop" into existence.

"Bound by blood, assassinate him."

I would fade again from normal people's sight as the [Shadow Familiars] would spring up from behind the man and stab him through the chest, wanting to stab deeply into the side and then slash out to cause a mass of blood to spray out. This would in turn cause a mass confusion, likely, and thus I could make my escape. It seemed that so far, only the one coming near me could see me- I would have to be more cautious, I told myself, I'd gotten soft. I would attempt to move from the pit, going towards the exit faster then a human could run.

The downside to emerging back into physical form inside the pit is that those rune markings that are on all of the tables in the pit to prevent people from using magic to cheat at the tables prevent magic from being used. So when the spirit comes back into physical existence and seemingly appears out of nowhere, there are some players who start thinking that perhaps they have been playing for a bit too long today. The guard looks at him as he keeps approaching and the second security specialist tells the guards to take him down. One of the guards behind the spirit shoots a tranquilizer dart at him. Two other guards prep their tranquilizer guns. They didn't want to cause a scene in front of the other patrons and interrupt any of the other games. The guard that first spotted the suspicious spirit would be hoping that the spirit would be going to sleep by the time he arrived, so he didn't have to fight in public.

On the cyber frontier, the virus would be neutralized instantly. While the processing speed and operating systems might not be what the security specialist felt he needed, the Casino has some of the best virus, spyware, and adware protection not on the market. When you are the primary money front of the top crime syndicate, you make sure that no one can take down your system. The security specialist starts to chuckle as he moves thru the encryptions, but notices that they just keep popping up. He starts to hum Lamb Chop's "Never-ending Song" tune as he works. It would not be long before he would break thru. He just hopes that he is able to gain access w/o frying it. The secondary security specialist is monitoring the events inside the casino still.

I would growl when the shadow figures did not appear. I'd little choice, and it was then that I would crouch down on all fours, faster then a human could follow completely- at least none from this time. The darts fired in this round just missed as my green eyes narrowed. No, I didn't have enough experience to turn into my beast form. It would likely be over soon, but there would be hundreds of encryptions for that hacker to get through. Just that took up about half of my laptop's memory, so it wasn't like he was going to get through. But I had my own code- it would fry its self after one hundred and fifty encryptions were removed- and you would have to hack into the computer to remove the auto-fry program. Not to mention my laptop had similar spyware and anti virus above normal- you see, my adoptive parents are hackers, as so make their own anti virus, above the normal standards.

I would move to the first guard and would snap it- the it, being his neck. I'd little time for playing around. But I'd failed to notice the dark that had struck me on my back. It wouldn't be long, after I'd snapped the guard's neck. Then I would fall asleep, though once I would be out of the anti cheating runes, it was entirely possible that I would fade from view and grip of anyone not spiritually aware- a final defience of the casino, one could humorously suppose.

The security specialist was getting annoyed of all the encryptions and decides that he would simply ensure handle things the most effective way at this point. He would cause a surge in the server and just overload the damn thing. He would not be able to retrieve all of the other files that this hacker might have to be used against any other employers, but he would be shutting down operations for sure and with it, any of the files or documents that he had uncovered from the Vault's systems. "Drop the Freeze Bomb!" he exclaims as he initiates a program that would isolate the hacker's network and freeze it out so that any incoming or outgoing transmissions would be frozen. Moments after it freezes out the network, the surge would "shatter" the connections overloading up the systems with viruses, pop-ups, junk files, porn and music downloads and a nice little package of annoyances. There would be the silhouette of a black bird with large wings flying thru the screens. That bird is a program designed by the top criminal hackers in the syndicate and it locates any "missing" files then corrupts and erases any trace of them. The bird locates the files via a code embedded on all files sent from Black Wing computers. It does not touch any other files though. The Freeze Bomb's purpose is to keep the system's "defenses" busy with it, so that the bird has an easier time and also to cause the owner to have to completely wipe their system clean to avoid Elgoog seizing their system to protect the outer networks. While everything is running its course, the security specialist speaks to the secondary, "This hacker is pretty damn good. I actually had to use a Freeze Bomb and the bird. I'm almost tempted to tell Mr. Trump to offer them a job." The hacker and their equipment made them a formidable adversary, but the resources of the criminal syndicate far exceeded that of the general public of Sai City.

Down in the pit, when he comes at the Pit Guard, the more trained guard blocks the attempt to grab his head. He follows the parry with a quick knife hand chop aimed at the throat of the spirit. Moments later anyway, the tranq dart would take effect. The guards grab his body and carry him towards the back. Considering that he is the one to attack and try to run, they are pretty sure that he is responsible for the security breach or he's the fall guy for one of the others. Either way, when they reached the back, they would get their answers. Since he is drugged, he might think that that was the reason that he could not shift back into his spirit form, but the truth would be that he was in the physical realm and thus bound to his physical form. The Pit Boss gets all of the cocktail waitresses to the tables taking drink orders and the guards assuring patrons that everything is under control.

The spirit would be woken up by a heavy handed smack to the face. He would find himself bound to a chair and feeling drugged. "Kuroishi... wake up, sunshine." The guard who woke him up has his jacket off and his sleeves rolled up. So he would be the muscle of this little interrogation. Behind him, there is a man seated cross legged with refined posture and an expensive tailored suit. He is flanked by two suit wearing bodyguards. His hands are folded in his lap while he silently looks at a digital notepad.

It was hard to believe that any guard as able to keep up, and one word slid into my mind as eyes narrowed like a feline's: possessed. It was not a good thing, because when I was struck in the throat, it was a choking blow that would likely have knocked me on my ass anyway, if not for that dart.

I would be woke up by a slap that likely had little effect, other then waking me up. My green eyes would shift over to a man for a moment, before the one who struck me. He called me 'sunshine', and I was anything but. Not that it mattered- I wouldn't put the one's who saved me at risk for anything. Most criminals had twisted morals when it came to their comrades, or so I'd observed for a hundred years.

I could do I want needed to to prevent 'ratting out' my adoptive parents, and that included biting my tongue off. Not only would they get to answers, but it wasn't like they were used to that sort of thing. Maybe a poison pill, but the bleed out would be quick, and seconds of faltering could be to their disadvantage.

As to my computer, it wasn't 'normal' either. Plenty of data had already been sent to my parents house. Part of the encryption defense was to send data over once ten codes were broken into, thus assuring that information was not lose. Too bad for my adoptive parents, none of this groups' info made it there before that Freeze Bomb. The bird its self would not be able to do much of anything too significant to the family computer- they had been hackers for a long, long time, and any file that might have been sent over other then intended files would be blocked and sent back with a Joker face on it.

Wynn nods his head and the guard takes it as a sign to start working on the prisoner to soften him up for information. In fact, Wynn wasn't even paying attention to anything outside of his digipad. He was checking stock updates. "Sorry, announcements about some new IPO and the recent upward surge in the market. Across the board, there is a high tide. The one good thing about the recent crises is that they stimulate the economy b/c things have to be rebuilt and improved. Take your actions for example. You making it into my computer, I am sure that I have a full proposal already on my desk to completely upgrade the cyber security systems and you aren't even dead yet. So, why were you snooping around on my computer? You really thought that you would be able to use one of our computers to hack into our systems and just walk away?" Wynn awaits the answer.

Truly, I felt no need to answer, even while the man 'roughed me up'. I didn't even feel that much pain, and so I remained silent as I watched him from where I was sitting. Spirits' bodies were still tougher and stronger then a normal humans', so really, I could hold out. My green eyes barely registered the man hitting me, even if he spoke, he was merely a 'goon'. I didn't need to speak with those that I felt were of low class, even if they thought they were middle or high. In truth, mere puppets that danced about, bodies pulled along by dangled promises from atop: money, cars, woman, large homes, or even a job. The goons were pathetic, and I would always think their ilk as such.

I would barely listen to the man in front of me. I was waiting to see if I would be struck in the mouth. My mouth remained closed, hiding the fact that my tongue was hidden in it to be bitten off, though to make it look like the goon's fault. Hey, take more to hell with me, right? Oh, but screwing with this pompous ass hole would also be fun before being killed again. A hum would fill my throat, sounding like a suppressed 'hmmm'. I decided I might as well lie.

"Mortal, my reasons are beyond you. Telling you would be pointless... though your computer system really lacked the proper protection. If a simple hacker like myself got in... think of what more advanced ones could have done."

Wynn is not one to be moved by boisterous comments, so he looks at the guard who asks if he wants him to put the fists to him again and with a grin, Wynn shakes his head and tells him that he will handle the interrogation for now. He orders everyone except for his two guards to leave out and shut the doors all the way. They obey and the guards step back putting micro earplugs into their ears. "Listen, I'm not really one for this sort of thing. I prefer civilized conversations, but please do not think that you will be able to hold out with this tough guy act for long. So listen and learn..." Wynn snaps his fingers and a visible wave of sonic energy rushes over towards Kuroichi to strike him directly in his chest. It is a very good think that this room is sound proof b/c the thunderous sound of that snap would be heard throughout the entire casino otherwise. The nails on his left hand extend out to full blown vampiric claws. "I can end this quickly if we just talk or this can last for hours upon others b/c spirits take quite a lot of pain infliction before they bleed out. So which will it be? Oh and you are no simple hacker, so please, don't insult me in my own casino. Your reasons are not that complex. You are not working for some higher power or would have tried to cripple the Casino, not copying files from my computer screen. So why did you do it?"

I would narrow my feline like green eyes at the man as he ordered the others out. Well, this was rather annoying. Though I knew that bosses could be worse- my father had warned me about them when I was in my tangible form. I simply wait until he snapped his fingers, the sound would strike me in the chest, nearly knocking the wind out of me. He spoke of not liking doing this- I thought that he would rather enjoy this. I saw the claws, and then I would have a grunt in my mind- I really did hate it when I saw claws. Not that I wouldn't have my own soon, or if I was able to get out.

"You want to know why? Why do all hackers get into other computers? Why do all people work?"

His original question was easily answered- money. Hell, 'money makes the world go round' is a common enough phrase. Asking why I broke in was something that I equated to foolish over thinking. My cloths were likely a little unique- a college uniform. Honestly, I wondered how he thought a college student, even a spirit, could get through with no money. I decided to answer his other stupid question- why use his own question.

"Fine, you know I'm not a simple hacker. I'm not stupid enough to bring in my own laptop. I have enough defenses on it to just transmit to it... but the way you're this calm must mean you've some way to infect even an experienced hacker. I used your computer because I know a way to switch I.P. addresses with other computers."

So he had hacked into our system for money. Wynn sighs knowing the reason before it was even asked, but silently one can suppose from the sigh that he was hoping for something else. After all, why did a spirit really require money unless he has been living in this realm for quite some time. Realizing how the next course of action would play out, Wynn speaks to Kuroishi in his normal calm, cool and collected tone of voice, "I see. Well would you like to tell me who hired you to do something so suicidal as hack into a casino? You know, Kuroishi... I really wish that we had found you before all of this. You could be a useful cyber security specialist. You don't seem like a fool or a bad guy, but you made a serious mistake here. You know what the only acceptable response to such a mistake is, don't you? So is there anything else that you would like to tell me that would save your life right now?" Wynn's tone at the end sounds rather somber as if he truly does not wish to order this man's death. Still, this is the Black Wing Syndicate here. The top echelon of the criminal underworld here in Sai City... such a transgression cannot go without punishment now can it?

I would wonder if he really understood that we spirits were not to be messed with at their convenience. Not that I really cared all that much at this point. I was going to get out of these bonds easily. I could sense the energy within me surging. I could likely finally turn into my animalistic form, but that would have to wait a moment. He had more to say tome, not that I was interesting in really responding to him. He spoke as though killing me was really the last thing that he wanted to do- he even openly admitted that he would have rather had me with the group, rather then making this 'mistake'. But he wanted to know who hired me. What folly- no one hired me, because my own operations had not yet reached that point. Nonetheless, I would give him an answer.

"I see. I'm sorry that you feel you have to kill me, then. My employer is myself- you see, this was my first real 'big job'. But saving myself? Slim chance. I know what group you belong to- I saw it in a screen shot that I sent. I'll be dead by someone else in the group if word got out. However, you may be able to play me off as an exotic animal. Let me show you."

My being would suddenly turn into a hunched figure that started to grow fur- a cornered animal, one could say, would do anything to survive or bite it's attacking to take him down as well. But by the way I spoke, the calmness might be 'unusual' for even a caught spirit. I would grow to be a larger then life panther in grey skin, twice the muscle of a normal one, and certainly much more muscular then my human appearance. Any bonds would likely snap at the pressure and I would be sitting there with green, glowing eyes. The teeth I now bore were white, looking unused, and they were in a big cat grin.

Wynn blinks as the transformation starts to take place. His first thought is to stun him and have the bodyguards put some rounds in his head, but instead Wynn decides that he is too dangerous for something that time consuming, so instead. Wynn murmurs to himself while the agents draw their submachine gun and shotgun ready to open fire should the creature move. This transformation of sorts gave Wynn the time to chant, "Open the gates to Oblivion." A dark shadow would make its way from Wynn to the emerging giant black cat. The agent bodyguards would back away from the range of the shadows If the ability is successful, then both Wynn and Kuroishi would be transported to an alternate realm. The alternate realm would have a red tint as if the world is bleeding and the ground itself would be covered in darkened blood. Wraiths would emerge around the panther and moving at an incredible speed, would attack from several different directions over and over again. Their claws seem to tear at the very essence of the spirit. There would be much blood being spilled from the spirit before everything would be engulfed in shadows and darkness... and then... nothing. The ability is meant to render the target unconscious. Wynn rarely uses the ability due to its extremely violent nature, but this was a special case.

Oh, this was a rather bad time to have done this- it took the man only a few seconds to activate the ability that would unleash wraiths and other terrible things onto my being, attacks that would have been more difficult to 'avoid' if I was not in the panther form. But it was fruitless, for in the end, I was rendered unconscious. My form would crumple out of the chair and slump to the ground, a thumping sound and a slight shaking at the new weight that my cat form possessed. It was likely that the transformation would be undone, and so that silver haired, green eyed spirit would be back on the floor. The ties they had used broken, it was only logically that eventually they would slay me where I 'slept'. No, much gore and blood or just a bit would happen in moments. Should I have asked to be a hacker with them? Most likely, but I had my dignity or pride, whatever you wanted to call it. Still, the casino its self was in a bit of trouble. Enough of the real document screen shots had gotten over for a small fortune could be made off of blackmailing. Not that it was likely it would happen any time soon, and it was certain that the group would erase as much evidence as possible, or maybe Wynn would, seeing how 'advanced' my skills had been before my death. Oh, if only my parents were just a bit less careless, they could get 'revenge'. Of course they held no notion of 'revenge'.

When the body falls, Wynn exhales and looks over at his agents. "Dispose of him... quietly. Also, he is a spirit, so take precautions. I'm returning to work." The guards nod to him and Wynn exits the same way that he entered... thru the shadows. The agents walk over and the shotgun wielding bodyguard takes aim and slowly squeezes the trigger. Force like that at point blank range might have been a bit overkill, but they were told to take precautions. They wrap the body up tight and take it to the hazardous waste disposal crew. They mix up a highly acidic chemical compound in a "bath" before the body is dumped into the bath. The acidic compound is made at such a highly corrosive capacity that it reduces the teeth and bones to so brittle a state that a chipping hammer can shatter them into dust. This is the fact that people that the Vault makes disappear. It is one of the cleanest ways to remove all evidence, so an investigation always end up with insufficient evidence.

Back in his office, Wynn calls the Security Specialist up to his office. "Good work. Now we can begin the overhaul. Clear up any loose ends with this and I will also handle your Expir modifications in with this overhaul." The Security Specialist smiles and nods to him, "Thank you, Banks. You are quite a devious genius." He leaves to work on the final breakdown for the overhaul so he can submit it to Wynn. He is also extremely elated that he will finally become an Expir, a long running goal to improve his capabilities.
