Samuel was looking through a database hosted in the united states that talked about different ways of modifying guns to give a better balance or better sights. It seemed like a good place to start off in researching ways to protect himself against spirits. He figured that while studying folklore helped him achieve a basic understanding of how spirits functioned, and it had answered a few questions for him that he didn’t feel like asking Jacob right at that moment, which was basically concerned if spiritually aware humans could use weapons to destroy demons. Samuel figured that asking to many questions of his dear partner would bring out too much suspicion, and considering that Jacob also worked with him at the same company it engendered a new sense of caution into the human. No, the internet was all that he needed for collecting the information, and he had made sure that the server which he was using to store it had a masked I.P along with several different layers of security that would fry any computer or demon that tried to gain access to the information without his consent or knowledge. *Alright, I’ll need to start by getting my hands on a example piece for a shotgun, then I’ll disassemble it and figure out how it all works.* He thought to himself as he copied the contents of the database onto his own server. He would personally transfer a few diagrams for popular modifications for a shot gun over to his laptop. Samuel looked to the time seeing that work would start in two hours, and he would need to be ready incase Jacob tried finding out what he was up too.

Samuel had bought decommissioned rifle and looked at it roughly as he pulled out the instruction manual for it. He had picked up on some of the basic words for it, but it was still a long way from actually putting it together. The hacker was also far less certain that things would work if he tested it out for himself because who would know what the hell would happen if he tried using it without a expert looking at it. Samuel was slightly self conscious though as he picked up the barrel and looked at it in his hands. He had to start now or never, so he would spread the manual out and begin from the very top. He would constantly double or triple check each step he took against the manual just to make sure he had gotten it right before proceeding to the next one. *It isn’t so hard once you get down to it. It’s a lot like building your own computer.* Samuel thought to himself relaxing as he got into a groove of things, and pretty soon he had finished. A semi-automatic pistol lay assembled before him, or at least it was a fair approximation of one since he had only assembled it from the kit. He was far from certain if it would actually fire our not. “There is only really one thing that I can do, and its too get it looked at by a professional and actually start working on shooting practice.” Samuel said to himself glancing down at the assembled gun.

Samuel looked around the firing range wondering exactly what he was doing here. He was a hacker a nerd through and through, yet here he was on the outskirts of town at a firing range. Samuel had decided to try out a few of his neighbors guns to get himself acquainted with how it felt in his hand because he knew that he needed to have a means of self defense, and the best way he figured that was to pick up how to use a gun. There was quite the number of weapons though, so he would just simply go for a simple nine millimeter glock for his first test firing. *I’m glad though that I shelled out the money for this fire safety training.* Samuel thought in his mind as he continued to listen, but in his mind he was thinking of what kind of gun he would purchase. A revolver appealed to him on a ascetic level, but the amount of shots he could get from it were limited. The reload time too would be too long as well ;though, a speed loader would be help that out a lot. No, he was looking at a the Hakaishi pistol. It was a fairly popular model, and one that he was sure would be a good back up for him. He would continue listing to the instructor as he talked about gun safety and how one must not pull the trigger but squeeze it along with the proper means of handling a firearm after one has fired it.

Samuel was cruising the internet looking at various different Chinese martial weapons. Some of them in his mind were pretty far out there in terms of sheer, how the hell does this weapon work? He was specifically looking at the meteor hammer, just a simple rope with a heavy weight at the end of it. Samuel had liked the idea of using that as a melee weapon along with knifes for a variety of ranges, and he wanted to learn how to start making those kinds of weapons himself. It was just in his mind that guns were much better at just about everything. *Perhaps, I should start looking more into the occult methods of weapon manufacture. I can probably only get so far in developing things purely by scientific or ballistic methods.* Samuel thought to himself as he did a quick search and pulled up several occult stores. *There is probably nothing much here that will help, but there seemed to be at least one shop that caught his attention. “Kurufono antique shop, huh?” Samuel said to himself as he drummed his fingers against the desktop. It was unusual for him to think that an antique shop would be listed as occult, but he would have to check it out along with a antique book seller. The book seller from the quick search looked like it would be a good place to continue his search into the occult, and he could also probably pick up some books that detailed various forging methods for archaic weapons.

Samuel was out and about paying bills and generally running errands. Jacob hadn’t yet contacted him about the information that they needed to go over, but he suspected that he had other pressing issues at the moment. It did give him time though to sift through all the information, or at least start doing it. There was no real way for him to sift through it all without a team of software engineers or a dozen search algorithms. He had however pulled out a few interesting articles on bomb manufacturing which were pretty intriguing for him. *Its good though that I downloaded those files to a small flash drive, and let things have it set to automatically delete everything if needed.* Samuel thought in his mind as he walked up to his bank. He pulled out his atm card and his mobile a few pressed buttons and he was pulling up a gun lovers forum site where he was perusing the threads talking about how one repairs their guns or asking for diagnostic advice. It was pretty enlightening, when compared with the other manuals he had read about the subject. Samuel would though have to focus on getting his money out of the atm before running to the street to catch a taxi. “Take me to fifth and nagi.” He would as he sat back and continued to read off of his mobile, and the hacker would soon reach his destination. Samuel quickly dished out the appropriate amount of money before walking into the gun store, he was here to learn some more.
