Mad Skillz

As I skate down the side walk, pushing off with my foot to gain more speed I whistle lightly to my self, eyes gazing from side to side as I looking for anything in my way as well as something to do.. Today was, so far, was a boring day. I had yet to find anything fun to do, sure I could go to the Umbrella Shopping Center, maybe see some chicks, but I always do that when I don't have anything to do so it was out of the question.. Spotting the slight hint of a rail what may lead down some stairs I grin faintly and pick up more speed and when I come with in range I push off, hitting the back of my skate board and using the speed and force to launch my self into the air. Coming down onto the rail I hit it dead center on my skate board and grind down it before dismounting the rail and landing. Moments after landing I place my foot on the ground to come to a complete stop, my eyes coming to rest up on three people in front of me.. I look as two kids about my age pick on a younger, nerdy lookin dude. I stood there and watched them as they picked on the kid, I had no idea what he had done, probably didn't do anything really, wrong place at the wrong time but something said I should deal with these punks and save the little guy. With a light sigh I step off my skate board and pick it up off the ground before making my way towards the three " Hey, you guys. You should leave the little dude alone. " My words must have gotten there attention cause they stopped what they where doing and looked at me " Yeah, and what are you gonna do about it if we don't? You gonna go cry to your mommy or somethin? ".

I come to a stop when they speak to me and think on there words for a moment before shaking my head " Ehh, I don't do the cry to mommy thing. All I know is if you don't leave the little dude alone, this dudes gonna make ya. ". They look at each other for a moment before looking back at me " Oh yeah? We'll see about that. " They look at each other again before one of them charges me. One on one, I knew I could handle them, or at least hoped I could handle them. I dropped my skate board to the ground and pushed it aside before bringing my arms up in front of me, taking on a simple fighting pose as the boy charged me. When he got with in range he threw a punch which I easily dodge and counter attacked, striking him in the chest, causing him to stumble back. I grinned faintly as I watched him stumble back. I decided I would try a new fighting style I had seen on TV, something they said was grappling. As he was recovering I began to close the distance and got in close to where I could grab him. Once I had a hold of him I took him to the ground and pinned him there for a moment as he began to struggle. " If this is what they call grappling its some pretty easy stuff. " I thought to my self as I held him there before pulling back, allowing him to get back up. I watched as he got back to his feet and came at me again. When he got close enough he began throwing punches at me with both fists. I dodged and blocked the attacks, moving back as he came out me.

When I spotted an opening, I took the opportunity and stuck back. Landing a quick blow to his chest before he took him to the ground, pinning one of his arms behind his back " Ahh fuck, you asshole let me go! " He said as he struggled to get free. I looked over at his friend who was still standing there, luckily he had yet to join in on our little fight and that was an upside for me. I shifted my attention back to the one I had pinned to the ground, pushing down harder onto his arm " Ehh, are you gonna but the little dude again? " The kid just kept cussing at me and struggling so I let him go and stepped back, allowing him to get back to his feet. Once he was up he looked at me with a glare " You asshole ill make you pay for that and after I'm done with you ill go beat your little friend up too. " I looked at him and shrugged faintly " Alright. Lets see how that turns out for you. " I said as I watched the kid, bringing my hands back up, reading my self for his next set of attacks if they came. And that they did, the kid charged me again after letting out a sound of anger. I took a few steps back and to the side, leading the kid around some as he charged at me. I lead him around a bit, letting him get closer and closer as time went on until finally I decided it was time to bring this little brawl to a close. As he came in at me I blocked his punch and quickly struck at his stomach, knocking the wind out of him before I shifted my foot and kicked his out from under him, taking him to the ground I pinned him down so he couldn't get back up " It looks like you lost buddy. So are you gonna leave the little dude alone? " I asked him again, keeping him pinned to the ground, waiting for an answer from him.

He struggled under me a bit more, still not answering. He looked over to his friend " Are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna help me?! " he barked as he looked at his friend. I glanced over at the other kid before looking back to the one I was holding down " I think he is gonna stand there and watch. ". What happened next I wasn't expecting. The other one picked up a bat laying on the ground next to him, a weapon I had over looked in the start of all this, and let a yell out as he came out me " I wont stand by and watch. Ill beat you to a pulp! ". I looked up as he came out me " Crap- " Was all I could say before I was forced to roll away as he took a swing at me. After rolling to the side, I sprang up to my feet and had just enough time to bring an arm up and ready myself as he swung at me again. The bat made contact with my arm and I let out a grunt of pain as I took a step back, using the time to move my arm some as I looked at the kid. " Not so tough now are ya? " The kid taunted me as he stood there watching me. I watch the kid as he stands there with the bat " Your the one that has the weapon, cheater... " The last part came out as a grumble as I watched the kid " But I can still whip your butt with out a weapon. " The kid simply looked at me and chuckled moments before he charged me and started swinging his bat around at me.
I watched him as he came in and when he got close enough with his swings, for the moment all I could do was use my arms to block and deflect the attacks. The kid kept coming at me with the bat, swinging and trying to land a good blow on me but I kept blocking and dodging each attack. This routine was starting to wear then on me as my arms were starting to hurt a lot and I was having to circle around to keep from running into stuff. He came in with another attack and I brought my arm up, knocking the bat away before I followed through with a quick punch to his chest. After striking him in the chest, he stepped back and grabbed his chest with his free hand " Ugh.. " He let out a faint gasp as he looked back at me. As I watched him I rubbed my forearm, parts of it had already turned red and there were probably gonna be bruises on both my forearms. Finally he came after me again, unleashing a barrage of swings. This time I had to block the bat sparingly as each hit caused surges of pain to shoot out from my arms. I decided it was time to go on the offensive finally and put a beating down on this kid. When he came at me and swung his back I knocked it aside and stepped in, punching him in the face to knock him back and stun him. After my first attack I followed through with a second one, spinning around to my side I brought my foot up and kicked the kid in the chest, sending him back and to the ground. Once he was down, I lowered my leg, standing on both feet now and looked at him for a moment.
The kid lay there, having let go of the bat he held his chest as he coughed and moaned in pain. After a few seconds the kid began to get back up and reached for his bat again. " Ohh naw you don't dude. " I said as I quickly moved up and kicked the bat away from him before he could get to it. He paused for a moment after I kicked the bat away from him and looked up at me. One moment he is looking up at me and in a flash he quickly flings some rocks at me. When he flings the small rocks at me I instinctively bring my arms up to block my face, stepping back. My actions allowed him time to scramble away from me and to his weapon again. He grabbed the bat and stood back up, looking at me with a grin. Lowering my arms, I seen he had his bat again and I let out a dejected sigh, shaking my head faintly " Alright, We can play it your way.. " I said to him as I lower my arms some, holding them out in front of me as I ready my self. I stand there and watch him for a moment before I start to take steps forwards, charging in towards him. As I came in, he got ready and drew his bat back and took a swing at me but I feigned to the side. Swinging around him I took a shot, striking at his side. My hit caused him to pull to the side and spin around, I held back when I hit him only putting enough force in it to make him feel it at the moment. I follow through as he steps back, knocking the bat from his hands before I plant my fist into his stomach. The force of my attack causes him to stumble back before falling to the ground, clutching his stomach as he gasps for air. I stand there and watch him, tilting my head to the side faintly " Alright, now leave the little dude alone. If you guys mess with him again you'll have me to deal with. Understand? " I ask, looking from one to the other. Both of them look at me and simply nod before they get up and run off. After checking on the one they were picking on I headed home.
