It had been some time since I managed to have my pistols bonded to my body through the tattoos that were placed on my form from the dark weapon smith in the forest. I hadn’t experienced any side effects that I could attribute to the bonding. I was having issues with my memories and such, but when Shiori stepped out of my life, things seemed to normalize; though there were lingering dreams. The spirits residing within me assured that they had remained passives and were simply enjoying living through me. Either way, I had accumulated some new items from the Division 12 armory that I needed easy access too, so I took the day off and called Ingel to meet me at my apartment in Gothstone. It wasn’t like I could tell the Division where I was going and why. What I was doing was blurring the lines of my own ethics and in a way; I was doing it out of necessary to keep up with the advanced powers of demons. I had been lucky up to this point, but I never forgot how weak I was comparatively versus demonic types. I wait in the parking lot of my apartment complex with Ingel on the way, leaning with my back against the Enforcer as waited for Ingel this afternoon.

Male Bonding

The call from Jyn was a bit unexpected since I wasn't scheduled to go into work but was always on call I guess you could say. Though the call from him wasn't about work, instead it seemed to be on a more personal note, which was fine with me. With the call from Jyn and his request to meet at his place in Gothstone I set out after getting ready. During the drive I thought on what exactly he could be calling this get together for, perhaps he wanted to run some drills with the squad during our off time or target practice, either way it felt good to be back on the job and protecting the city. Pulling into the parking lot I glance around for a moment before spotting Jyn standing by his enforcer, probably waiting for me to arrive. Slowing down a bit, I move through the parking lot and pull into an open parking spot next to Jyn before turning my Enforcer off. After turning the vehicle off I pull the keys out and open the door before stepping out of the vehicle and looking over to Jyn and give him a faint nod, " Hey. " I say before glancing around, it seemed we were the only two here so it would seem just the two of us were going to do something, unless the rest of the team was waiting somewhere else.

“Hey,” I return the casual greeting and the nod from Ingel as he comes round. I noticed that he went in and put in a request for an Enforcer as well. It was indicative of his rank, since he was technically a sergeant on paper. Still, he was a special case since he was within my Special Division. In case of emergency, he would be looked to in order to lead a team, so even though I didn’t ask him to do it in our special team, I would either need to start grooming him to be used to being able to have to do it if needed as I needed to do with all of my team members. That all could be handled over time, though, as for now I wanted to get the current task out of the way. I figured we could talk about whatever I needed to in the Enforcer on the way there, so I motion to my Enforcer as I comment, “get in, I’ll drive.” I move around to the driver side of the vehicle and open the door. I would wait for him to come in before I started talking about what we would be doing. After he got in and closed the door, I told him, “we’re going to take a drive to the forest. Time to get some tattoos…” I jut a thumb to the middle seat where I had several riot shields as well as a proton cannon in place. Pausing for a moment, I advise that if he had anything to bring with him, now would be a good time to get it. Hopefully if he brought something, it would be in his Enforcer. I would wait until he was ready before pulling out and heading to the streets.

Male Bonding

As Jyn motions to his enforcer, I glance at hit for a moment and give a faint nod. It seemed we would be taking his ride to our destination. Moving away from my enforcer I begin to make my way over to the passenger side of his. Coming up to the passenger side I open the door and begin to climb to take a seat. After taking a seat I glance to Jyn as he begins to speak. As he thumbs to the back I glance into the back to the weapons and gear he had setting in the back. Glancing over the weapons for a moment I give a nod " I see. Let me go grab something. " I say, glancing to Jyn before climbing out of the enforcer and making my way back to my enforcer. Coming up to the back of my enforcer I open the back and grab one of the weapon cases. Opening the weapon case I glance at some of the weapons and think for a moment, " Hmm... " I murmur lightly to myself as I reach out and grab the SRT03 sniper rifle, " Having this bound to me would come in handy like the assault rifle.. ". Pulling the SRT03 from the case I slip the sling onto my shoulder so the weapon rested against my back. After picking out the weapon I glance at the rest of my gear and think for a moment before shutting the weapon case, " This should do for now. ". With a weapon chosen I shut the back to my enforcer and make my way back to Jyn's enforcer and pull the sniper rifle from my shoulder and climb back into the passenger side and set the weapon in the back, " This one will be a good addition and make carrying it around much easier. " I say, glancing at Jyn as I shut the door.

I start the Enforcer while Ingel goes to pick up his items and wait on him; I did kind of spring this all on him. I was a bit glad that he had brought his items with him. The Enforcers really were like roaming armories. I still had a few things I figured I should purchase in case I needed them. The mist cannons that the tankers had seemed like it would be something really useful. By the time he gets in, we would be all set. After his words, I agree, “I know what you mean. There’s no way I would be able to tote around that proton cannon. This is going to really test the skills of this weapon smith.” Getting the SUV into gear, I pull back and out of my parking spot before moving forwards and heading out of the parking lot of the apartment complex and into the flow of traffic on the main street. We pass Moonbucks and proceed north heading to the edge of the city. While driving, I would comment, “we haven’t really had a chance to talk, how are things going with that young lady and your child? You should be a family man about now?”

As Jyn speaks I glance back at the weapons and gear he had packed into the back seat of the enforcer. It was a bit radical to think that he was going to bind the proton cannon to himself, but when you need a BFG you need a BFG and it's good to have one when you need one, perhaps I should get one and do the same.. " Yeah. With any luck he will be able to take care of the work load. I may go ahead and get some armor bound to me as well. That way I wouldn't have to wear as much until I needed it. " Turning my gaze back to the road ahead of us I fall silent for a moment as I pay attention to the traffic and the highway. It isn't until Jyn speaks up, asking me about my family that I glance at him once again and nod, " Yeah. I am. Another reason for me to be out here on the streets working to keep it safe, so my son can have a better future. Thing's change when you have a child... You start thing more about there safety and less about your own. Trinity is doing well, she is going to work when she can and taking care of Jayden, which is doing good as well. What about you Jyn, are you working on a family and a white picket fence? " I ask, turning the question back on him to see how his life out side of work is going.

I give a light sigh as I keep my focus on the road in front of me. I figured if I had anyone I could talk to, it would be Ingel. I begin, “this is between us… but I’m not sure if you know or not, but Izumi and I are kind of a ‘thing.’ With that said, I think Shiori, my ex, and I are finished for good. Izumi left for vacation and she became my secretary for a couple days… as my ex, we couldn’t keep things professional. I was about to do something with her, but I pushed her away at the last minute. I said a few things that hurt her deeply while pushing her away. She left… I’ve never seen her that upset before…” I pause as I continue to drive. It felt a little better to talk to someone else about what happened. I admit to Ingel, “I’m not as good as you with relationships, but I’m working on getting things right. I put a lot of time and effort into work, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get a white picket fence… or at least be at that house that would have it.”

Glancing to Jyn as he begins to speak I give a faint nod at the first part of his statement. The things we talk about are between us unless it is related to work and he is fine with it being shared with others. As he informs me about his and Izumi's status as being a 'thing' I couldn't help but smirk faintly. She was a nice looking young lady but I already had someone that mean's a lot to me. I keep my gaze on the highway and listen to him as he continues speaking about how he and his ex broke up. The name rung a bell and it wasn't long before I remembered the woman from before when we were stuck in the past. It sounded like he went through a rough brake up and falling out with Shiori, though I had never found out how close they really where. When he pauses I glance at him for a moment, wondering how this was effecting him emotionally, that type of thing can be tough on people. With the comment about me being good at relationships I cant help but smirk faintly. I had only been in two real ones, the rest where mostly one night stands and things like that. As he finishes speaking I nod once again, " I see. That's fine man, you don't need a white picket fence. Hell, my new place doesn't have one, and it doesn't really matter. What really matters is having someone to share it with and sure, you may go through some bad relationships, but there is always a chance as long as you keep an open heart. " Pausing for a moment, I chuckle lightly at what I had just said, " I too was like that, I put a lot of effort into my work, that was before I met Trinity and even before I met my first girlfriend.. When I was still living my past life. But you got to set work aside some times and do other things. If you let it, your work can consume you and your life and in the end it can be the death of you... " Pausing for a moment I glance at Jyn, " Take it from someone who almost had it happen.. Sometimes you just have to step back and take a break. "

“Hmm,” I nod at his words, taking them as he gave them to me. The concept of taking a break from work was a foreign idea that I didn’t think I could agree with given my position, but I would not voice any opposition to the advice he gave me out of honest friendliness. “You’re right,” I say, kind of concluding with that. While we continue the drive, I catch him up on some of the things that were going on. I tell him about the new direction of the R&D department and the young lady Ijin whom I had working on a prototype battle suit that could possibly help out against spirits in wide scale battles. The corporations had exspirs already, though they were extremely expensive to make, but if that technology was expanded into something larger and controlled by a human, then it might give us the edge over the spirits who exhibited grand scale attacks and special powers. I kind of clarify and discuss with him what happened in the last city attack that left us devastated. Unconfirmed spiritual entities descended from the skies and battled against the demonic legions with us and then left. We never really caught up with him that time, but it seemed he was having difficulty with some demons on his end as well. Before long we get to the northern edge of the city, but instead of getting out and parking, I continue on the smaller country/corporation owned roads that led out beyond the city. Reaching the end of those roads, I would mention, “time to test this baby’s off road capabilities, right?” I had full intentions of driving the Enforcer through the forest; I figured it was tough enough to take it. I advise Ingel to buckle himself in tight.

Male Bonding

After speaking my mind about things I fall silent and listen as Jyn begins to fill me in on the things that have been happening with the division during my absence. I listen carefully, taking in everything he has to say and the mention of a battle suit to help us fight against the demons sounds very good considering demons are far stronger then us lowly humans. It sounded like the division was starting to build up and gain a strong foothold against the demons, the only thing that was the problem was the powers they possesses compared to us, since the best thing I can use against them would be the weapons I have on me and my skill with them and they are able to fling magic at us. As he shifts to the last attack on the city I sigh lightly, growing someone depressed since I was not there to help fight the demons attacking the city even though it was my job to do so. I had let the city down and those I had vowed to protect.. I remain silent for the rest of the trip until Jyn speaks up once again. As he speaks up I glance at him for a moment before looking to the end of the road and the forest ahead of us. With out even being told I reach over to the buckle and pull it down before fastening it and making sure it was tight, nodding to Jyn, " Sounds like a plan. "

With a nod, seeing that he was strapped in, I figured we would need a bit of speed to get into the interior of the forest. I had a vague idea of where the weapon smith was, so I would be heading that way until I felt something familiar for me to pin point him with. My hand lowers to the transmission as I put the vehicle into its lowest gear; changing from rear wheel drive to all wheel drive. I stomp on the gas and the vehicle almost jumps forwards as I rolls over the earthy terrain until we run smack into the forest wall, breaking through it. My body is rocked back at first, but I lean forwards as best as I could to keep my eyes sharp on the road, or lack thereof, up ahead. My goal was to miss the large trees that would put a stop to our trek. The smaller ones and bushes were simple to plow through as well as the spaces in between trees. The vehicle would rummage through the forest with relative ease; this seemed to be the best way to get through the forest without getting attacked by something or wasting time walking or running. Ridges are hopped, branches are run through, demons and spirits are bypassed and/or outrun, and eventually we get far enough into the interior of the forest that I am able to sense the dark apprentice’s pet Chimera. It was a familiar and haunting feeling; that thing was hard to kill and tough as nails. The Enforcer slows to a crawl still a few yards from the dark apprentices hut. I stop it and put it into park with only a couple feet of woods to walk through before coming out into the yard.

Opening my door, I get out and could already hear the low growling of the guardian beast. I move to the side door to open it and get our things while speaking to Ingel, “I think you should go and let that beast smell you so it can remember us and let us through without having to fight it.” Better him than me.

After buckling up I brace myself for the trek ahead knowing that it was probably going to be extremely bumpy since Jyn was planing to drive through the forest instead of walk. As the enforcer lurches to life with a violent thrust forwards that almost makes the vehicle jump from the ground my grip tightens almost to a death grip on the door handle as I keep my gaze fixed on the forest ahead of us as the enforcer begins to plow through small trees, bushes, and anything else that ends up getting in the path of the large moving metal object we are in. While the enforcer continued charging on through the forest I felt like I was going to be bounced out of my seat and into the floor board or out of the vehicle. Having no clue which way to go in order to get to our destination, I leave the navigation to Jyn and simply keep an eye out for anything that would pose a problem to the enforcer. When the enforcer begins to slow down to a crawl I glance over at Jyn before turning my gaze back ahead of us. We must be getting close to our destination since Jyn is slowing down. My hunch is reinforced as Jyn brings the enforcer to a stop and puts it into park. With the enforcer now in park I begin to unbuckle and follow Jyn's lead and climb out of the vehicle. As I climb out of the enforcer I begin to hear a low growl that doesn't seem very comforting. Upon hearing Jyn I glance over at him and give a faint nod, " Alright. ". I say before I begin to pull away from the enforcer, leaving the weapons for Jyn to take care of. Moving away from the enforcer I glance around the forest ahead of me, carefully moving forwards slowly, " Hey, um... We mean you and your master no harm... strange... monster thing... We were here once before for your masters.. 'services' and we come again seeking his abilities. " I wasn't exactly sure what to say to the thing.. or if it could even understand me, though I tried to remain as calm and non threatening as I could so the thing wouldn't want to attack us, hopefully.

The Chimera swipes at the general area which Ingel was walking towards, taking out a few trees with its massive paw and clearing a path for him on his arriving to greet his coaxing. He growls in a low tone before he is called back by his master who refers to him by the name of fluffy. The beast instantly backs down and whimpers as he turns and begins to skip over to a figure garbed in a black hood and cloak. The reaper like figure lifts a bony hand and welcomes, “hey boys, came back for more? They say tattoos are addictive, you know?” Around this time, I would have stuffed much of the equipment in a large bag, dragging it behind me as I come to the side of Ingel, asking, “can you help me with this?” As soon as he would reach for it, I would let go, letting him bring the weapon as I would advise, “I’ll handle him.” Reaching the dark smith, I speak, “let’s just make this fast.” The hooded figure turns to me and counters, “that’s what -she- said!” I didn’t laugh, nor did I get it. Not one to leave Ingel struggling, the Chimera would bite at the bag with one of its heads and pull the weapons towards the hut for him. The smith would motion for us to follow as he speaks, “come on inside and make yourself comfortable… who’s up first?”

Male Bonding

As the tress fall to the ground I pause for a moment, taking in a deep breath as I thank the higher powers that this thing wasn't going to attack us, at least not right yet. When I hear the voice of the beasts master I glance in the direction of the voice and let out a sigh of relief as the beast begins to back down at the command of its master. Turning my attention to the figure I watch as he steps forwards and speaks up. When he makes the comments about tattoos being addictive I smirk faintly at the idea, since I had so many already. Hearing Jyn approach I glance at him before turning my gaze back to the man, leaving Jyn with the talking for the moment. I wasn't apposed to Jyn's desire to get this over with fast, that way we could get back to work but when the man counters with his statement, I hold back a laugh and simple smirk faintly. When the chimera begins to snap at my legs I begin to move, glancing at the beast for a moment as I follow after Jyn and the man. When he posses the question as to who would be first I glance to Jyn and wait a moment, if he didn't wish to go first I would step up to bat and voice my desire to go first.

The chimera does the work of bringing the bags to the door for us and the dark smith portals them to god knows where and then proceeds calmly to the staging area where the table is set up to sit on. Surroundings are similar like last time with the whole kitchen set up thing going on. Since Ingel had voiced he would go first, the dark apprentice motions towards the table and advises him, “please sit.” He proceeds in getting all of his equipment ready to perform the procedure, things from last time including his brush, canvas and needle. I would hold back and let Ingel have his go wondering if the smith still had the same anesthesia he used on me for the last time. The smith would wait on Ingel to get into position before starting on him.

Since Jyn held back his desire to go first I voice mine and with that I get to be the first one to get poked again. Moving towards the table I glance around the area before coming to a stop next to the table and begin to remove my coat. Once I had my coat off I set it aside and pull my shirt off, setting it with my coat before I climb onto the table and get settled in as I look over at the man that had put the tattoo's on us last time. " The same as before if you can work that again.. And... put it where you can fit it. " I say, glancing down at the tattoos already on my body. Hopefully I wouldn't run out of free space for all these, though I still had the legs and rest of my arms if I needed more free space. Looking away from the man, I glance to Jyn for a moment before closing my eyes as I rest my head back against the table, " Ready to start whenever you are.. " I say, bracing myself for the pain that was soon to come when the man starts the process.

The dark smith would give a nod of his hooded head and comment, “here we go!” With that, pocket realms would open on both sides, with Ingel’s weaponry and items smelted down into in, each in its separate and own batch to be used as ink on his flesh. The process is as painful as it normally was with the searing sensation of steel being pressed and forced onto tender skin. The smith finishes up around the same amount of time it took him last time and on finishing, he would rub the area and inspect it, making a few light touches here and there before backing off and announcing it completed. The tattoos would cover the free areas pointed out by Ingel, and the dark smith would point him towards the bathroom for him to go and have a look in the mirror. “No refunds,” he jokes, oddly enough, before looking to me as I rested with my back against the frame of the door and my arms folded. “You’re up next,” he advises, and pushing off, I proceed in taking off my shirt and upper garments in order to stand bare chest in the room. I make my way towards the table, and sit up on it as I inquire about the anesthetics. The smith assures me he had the type and told me to close my eyes while reaching for a wooden baseball bat with “little slugger” entitled on it. The smith would of course wait until Ingel left the room to inspect himself before there would be a loud cracking noise following by the hum of the smith as he proceeded on working over my body and bonding my weapons and items.

Male Bonding

This time I had come prepared for the great deal of pain this would cause, though no amount of preparation could truly get someone ready for something that hurts so much. I give a nod to the hooded man as he makes the comment then turn my head to the side and gaze off into the distance as I take in a deep breath and brace myself for the approaching pain, kind of like you do when your about to get hit by something or someone. As the man begins I let out a hiss of pain as the needle begins to tear into my flesh as he begins putting the tattoo on me. I try to remain relaxed and keep from tensing up so I wouldn't mess up the tattoo, wanting to be over with as fast as possible. When he finally finishes with the tattoo I get a moment to begin to relax and take in a deep breath before slowly sitting up before climbing off the table. As I stand I glance to the smith before looking towards the bathroom he pointed to. Turning I begin walking away from the table and pause for a moment at the comment. I let out a soft chuckle, smirking at the comment as I make my way into the bathroom to inspect the man's handy work. Once in the bathroom I look over the tattoo, making sure it fit in with the rest of my tattoos. Feeling satisfied with the design and placement I get down to the real reason why the tattoo was pleased upon my body. Holding out a hand I focus on the sniper rifle I had the artist tattoo to me. As I focus I begin to call out to the weapon and summon it to me. A black mist begins to ooze and then pore out of the tattoo and swirl around my arm, down to my hand and out from my hand before it fades, leaving nothing but the sniper rifle behind.

I wake up after a few moments of having gone under. Much like the last time, the medicines or anesthetics that were used by the smith seemed to leave quite a headache. If I didn’t know any better, I would say that he was cracking me over the head with a baseball bat or something to knock me out. As I come to, I am advised that my procedure was completed and that I could test things out. Looking down, I noticed a dragon tattoo symbol on my chest in the same type of tribal pattern as the ones on my arm. It seemed like each line of the dissected pattern was its own brush stroke signaling that each one was a different item. The pain seared on my chest, but I attempted to keep a composed look as I gingerly got up from the table and moved to put my shirt on. The smith inquires if I liked it, and I assured that he had done good work. Though I didn’t need to test it, since I knew where he lived, I still summoned each weapon in a swift manner manifesting it from shadows, before returning it to my body as a symbol. Pleased, I continue to dress. After pulling my shirt through my arms, I reach into my pocket and hand off the money, this time in cash, before I started to button up my shirt. Turning, I look to see if Ingel had paid and was ready to go. It was short and sweet just like I needed it to be. No change was needed on my end, I thank the smith for his work and come to the point where I was fully dressed and ready to go. The smith would be awaiting payment from Ingel before bidding us a farewell until next time.

Pleased that I am able to summon my sniper rifle, I dismiss it before heading back to where I had left my cloths. Stepping into the room I glance over at Jyn who seemed to be testing out the artists handy work on him. Moving over to where I had set my clothing I pick up my shirt and slip it back on before grabbing my coat and sliding it back on and adjusting it. Now I carry more firepower even though it only looked like I carry two pistols, these tattoos made it a great deal easier to carry larger gear into battle with out weighing yourself down. Glancing over to Jyn I notice he was paying the man, a good sign that he was ready to leave. Moving over to the man, I reach into my pocket and pull out enough money to pay for the assault rifle and hand it to him. After paying for the artwork I glance to Jyn, " Alright, you going to drive us back to the city or should I drive? "

I assure Ingel that I was fine to drive as I bid the smith a farewell. He coaxes for us to come back soon as he walks us to the door where the chimera would be waiting. Walking through the ‘yard’ I am able to make it back to the Enforcer without the burden of having to carry the weapons on me; this was much more simple and efficient when trying to do my job. I make it to the driver’s side door and open it allowing Ingel to make himself comfortable in the passenger’s side. From there, the Enforcer would be pulled into reverse, and somewhere in there, I would perform a three point turn around and begin heading back to the city through the forest in the same way I had come. A few more trips and we would have our own road straight to the smith’s hut.

When Jyn assures me that he is capable of driving I give a faint nod in response before giving the smith a farewell wave. Turning, I make my way out of the house and then through the yard, glancing around some as I make my way back to where we had left the Enforcer. After coming to the enforcer, I climb into the passenger side since Jyn was capable of driving us back to the city. Once I get situated in the passenger seat, I reach back and grab the seat belt and pull it down, buckling it so that I would be secured in the passenger side for the drive home.
