as for the metro party, it was supposed to be nice and easy. Obviously, things didnt work out that way. So, I have a question.

The spirit Cuffs have to have a power source to work, right? Could you explain how they work? Do they have a maximum strength that they can hold?

no clue how they work, i'd have to think up somethin. but ya they negate magix. i think what you're thikin bout is constraining magix. they're made to be pretty tough. i didn't really figure n e one could just goku that shit off or n e thing. they'd have t'be able to at least contain a majority of the site, ya kno?

yea, my question was whether they automatically negate all magic, or just directed projectile magic. Like if I wanted to cast something on myself, would that be effected by the cuffs? EoTL is my version of using breathing techniques to control my body's internal energy. I can understand not being able to shoot lightning bolts, but what about something like ShockX and passive techniques. Would that be covered as well? If someone with 200% stamina is in these, would it reduce it down to 100%

nah, the stamina thing is from a physical package

so Shin, my next part of that is another question.
Is there a way out of it? It seems like once those things are on you, its game over. If I loaded all of my stamina into one solid bolt, I would probably be able to break out of it. The downside is the attempting to escape with low stamina part. I think they should prevent ranged attacks since they are mostly directed with your hands. It doesnt make sense for you to not be able to heal yourself inside of them.

@sex - well, you couldn't 'bolt' b/c you canna do somethin that's negated. no bolt would exist t'do. the fact they're on ur hands dun really mean that's where it negates stuff @. it's supposed to effect your entire body once they're on u. i mean there ARE ways to get out of em, but then you'd have t'be able to regrow arms, etc. now if someone else hit them w/a hard attack then it might pop em off. you'd wanna guard while this happens tho. so i guess, teamwork? if i think of any other ways to get out, i'll letcha kno.

Thats what I was wondering. My entire thing was if I could cast Shock on myself. It doesnt lower stats, so I would still be at Strong, so matched with the kicking one, even with my magic down, I could still do Strong +2 kicks if I had it. . unless you put them on my feet as well.

Mariko, I wasnt discussing anything Ic in an OOC way. I was thinking about stealing a pair of the spirit cuffs to track down spirits with, and was making sure that there wasnt a way out of them through any magical means.
