TEXP LOTTERY!
Ppl will look at the title and be all like 'what you talkin bout shin!?' The TEXP lottery, son! It's mad gully. Basically the rules (or steps) are:

1) shin (me) will set a required texp entry fee
2) you put that texp into a pot
3) pick a number! (1-100)
4) shin rolls
5) closest to the number gets all the texp in the pot! (for high pots over 30 texp, the texp is split between 1st and 2nd in a 70/30 split bounce

)

if two ppl are the same distance away from the number, they split the texp. if someone guesses the number on the dot, they get DOUBLE THE POT TEXP (oh shit son!). if you win the lottery, you can keep the texp or give it to whoever you want (it's an ooc contest n e ways).

i'll start out the first lottery now and do this like once (or maybe twice) a month. So!

The first TEXP lottery begins now! Post your guesses to secure your entries! The required entry fee is: 3 TEXP. i will roll either monday or when we have 10 ppl enter (i.e. 30 texp to the winner if we have that many join).

What a ridiculous question. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have done it. I have 2 characters both with separate TEXP, thus two entries outputting two numbers. It's not like I'm the only person on the site who can do that.

actually, that reward would go to goebills, wouldnt it? Thats why i said to put the character names next to it, since the individual characters are putting it into the pot. Regardless of who put it in, the character assigned to that number should be the one that gets the reward.

thats retarded.. it makes it to where you can stack your characters into it [thus giving you an advantage over others just because you have more peeps], and focus all of the earnings into your weakest link.

This also allows, for a senior member who wins, to contribute the TEXP to help boost new people. If I had minion, it would be useful to me in that sense seeing as both my characters have a substancial amount of TEXP. Your cripe seems to be with allowing weaker characters to gain abilities over stronger characters getting stronger; in the end, it doesn't matter. People with multiple characters have advantages IC by default because they pool all their character's into the same clause; this isn't because of the system, it's because of the role-player. Each character should be treated as an individual. Still everyone's able to create more than 1 character, so it's your own preference for sticking with one. Additionally, both characters need TEXP in order to enter, they would have to have RP'd technically making that person more active than someone with one character. Someone would need to do twice the work to keep two characters on the same level as someone with one, so it balances out. Next time, only enter with the minimum required since there seems to be no incentive to put up more (i.e. you don't get any more choices).
