The Dark Tourney - Pre Battle Karnival Time: ??? Location: Onitoshi The Pre Tournament Carnival: Link is Here
Previously
Very weird looking signs start to pop up at random places around the city and villages in both the future realm and the past realm. They look like twisted stop signs, but are bright colors with the words looking like they were painted on with a paint brush. The main word says “KARNVIAL.” The signs are enchanted to attract people with strong senses, will, abilities and/or magic to it. Normal people aren’t able to see these signs, only people who can see spirits. Every poster has a place that says ‘touch here to go!’ that portals people to the gates of the carnival. The signs work to draw in several entities from the future and past realms. Several people (and demons) find themselves in a very odd place filled with distractions and games. But it is all an illusion.
Currently
“Enough participants have gathered.”
“Everything is complete.”
“We can bring them in…”
--
The forest and skies around the carnival start to spin. The spinning starts off slowly, but then rotates so quickly that everything is a blur. The inside of the carnival area is normal and the barrier holds the realm in place. Suddenly, it the surroundings stop spinning. The trees and forest that were surrounding the carnival area are gone. The temperature rises higher than normal (think Arizona in the summer) but held in check by a MUCH larger invisible barrier that negates the carnival’s local barrier. On the grand scheme, the carnival sits outside of a larger area that dwarfs it in size (think Epcot vs Disney).
The entire carnival realm had been transported to present realm Onitoshi.
--
The sky is no longer there. There is red and burnt brimstone where the sky used to be. There is a clear cut off point where the large and expansive barrier of the tournament realm stops (but the barrier is big… think like the size of Las Vegas… probably…). Outside the barrier, the ground is barren, rocky and burnt. Inside the barrier holding the tournament realm, the grounds feature a yochi-like atmosphere. There is a huge and vast amphitheater constructed in the middle. It is shaped with 6 ovals about a block or two in size surrounding a large oval twice the size of the surrounding ones in the middle. Inside each surrounding "oval" or pod, there is a different type of environment. Surrounding each oval is a spectator area in the form of large unearthly “leaves” and “vines” that have different levels and sections. There are also large magical "screens" that are visible from a long distance that displays the inside of each area. The tournament grounds were teeming with demons. The air is filled with wandering spirits. It is very populated.
The tournament barrier has a “tunnel” portion that connects the Main Area to the Gates of Hell. People will be able to exit here out of the gates of hell if they request directions to it (or follow the really long line of “earth soil and grass” that leads away from the tournament). Hell’s portal is about a 1 mile walk. The Gates of Hell brings the person to its default location in the present realm (at the bottom of that one Lake).
There are demons here looking to make a profit. They take human money in both realm currencies. There are areas for gambling, food vendors, junk dealers and other merchants either, game shows, and even lodging.
--
A large centaur demon stands at the south gate of the carnival. This would be the gate facing the tournament area which was only about a half block away. The centaur has the lower body of a massive horse like beast and the upper body of a humanoid bull. He has large pierced horns and wore a TapOut shirt. He growls and yells across the carnival.
“You have been brought into the realm of hell to battle for your lives. Those who will accept this, come to me! Those who will watch, go to the arena. Those who want to leave or who are too weak to protect themselves… I suggest you go the fuck home! The gates of hell are that way… You’re fighting for recognition in the demon world. You’ll be fighting for rewards not available in Yochi. Consider yourself lucky, ya bastards! Now step up and I’ll go over the ground rules… ya bastards!”
He waits for the contestant to line up. While he does this, a hellhound in glasses and a graduate cap and gown walks up beside him and sets up a small table. He hangs a banner from the table that says “sign ups.” He smiles at whoever may approach and speaks in an English accent.
“Name and race please!”
My post dun negate what you guys are already doing, but it interrupts the hell out of it xD The barrier does not keep people from exiting and wandering around Onitoshi. Humans will be affected by the Onitoshi atmosphere if they go outside the barrier and travel to other areas.

The conclusion of his partial inquiry found itself marked by the very sky transfiguring into a vortex both frightening an awe inspiring. Whatever the girl might reply with, doubtlessly her words would fail to reach him as he gazed astonished at the shifting sky overhead. It was when it had picked up speed did that since of dread swallow both him and seemingly, his sense of balance; such was evident as he stumbled a handful of steps backwards before clumsily falling to his rear. A wince emerged within a short-lived moment, dismissed swiftly as the curtaining veils of furred-flesh overtop his eyes were obscuring the view of something he had never encountered prior. He reopened his eyes quickly and before long, a shift in location had occurred. A frantic glance about revealed little to him, although a haunting familiarity possessed him regardless.
A being, a flux of two earthen creatures, began to speak in a booming voice. It possessed no trouble in thieving his attention. He remained where he sat, imbibing the foul-mouthed instructions he projected. How he possessed the ability to read the sign at all, especially how it was written was beyond him. However, he had read it correctly for indeed, there was a tournament being hosted. Hardly did he wish to participate; every fiber of his being squalled to do no such thing. However, hardly was that the reason he took interest in this promised event.
“Kame,” the creature stated enthusiastically as he pushed himself back upon a set of relatively sturdy feet. “I wanna watch!” He had taken one of her hands in both of his own, pulling gently in the direction of the arena the demon had pointed out.

Once he had completed his attack, his concern for if the wolf lived or died went from minuscule to zero. For the situation at had for Mukesh, had just gone from 'annoying' to 'fucking bullshit'. For the entire carnival had seemingly been transported to a place Mukesh was all to familiar with. As the clouds settled and the relocation complete Mukesh cursed under his breath. "I just left this fucking place and now im right back." He said as his grip on his sheath tightened greatly. If it wasn't for the fact that it was not a regular sword, he most likely would have crushed it. He was pissed off to all hell that he had unwillingly returned to hell.
He then heard the centaur speak of why they had been brought there. He immediately face palmed himself. "Not this tired crap again. They are always having tournaments. Every chance they get they hold some sort of strength testing." He said as his anger grew more and more. But it wasn't exactly visible on his face unless you looked into his blue and silverish eyes. And saw the fire of hatred behind them. If the little bird was still on his shoulder after the relocation and the realization of were they were. He would speak to it without looking at her. "It seems we can leave if we like. But since iv'e been dragged back here, I feel I should severe a few heads before I go. If you stay I suggest you join me. I doubt Hell is a same place for a Kami." He said leaving the choice open to her yet again but indirectly telling her to stay with him.
Regardless of her answer, he approached the desk that the registration was taking place. He doubted the creatures recognized him, for hell was a large place and Mukesh had never been one to stand out. But then again you never knew just who was paying attention. "Mukesh, Oni. Im fighting" He said even though he was sure they could tell his race without him saying it.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region Previously, I had gone into Darcy’s Shop of Horrors in following Kazakura and Rei and found that I would be watching and participating in a show. After a slight mistake with Kazakura’s bosom and two reminders not to perform ‘the act of which is not spoken’ again, I found myself pulled towards the front to volunteer to be a part of the show. Unfortunately, be it my keen hearing, or the loudness of the messenger, as soon as I reached the front of the stage and lifted my hand to be called upon to join, I hear something along the words “fight.” It seemed almost a reaction how my body vanished from whatever spot it was at. Vanish would be correct as god speed would have me out of that room, building, or whatever it was, in the blinking of an eye. Outside of the shop, I look out towards what seemed to be some type of freaky manhorsecow. It seemed much larger and stronger than the manbearpig that I had heard rumors of in our present realm. Aside from being large and intimidating, he seemed to be able to speak human language well enough to explain the real reason why we were here. So, in my mind, I understand that the powers that be in the demon realm sought it fit to bring in strong people like myself to battle against their demons. Though Adrian stated I was not ready for combat against demons yet, I couldn’t wait to test my ability against one; it just sucked that I left Goronova at home. I make my way towards the desk behind a brown haired guy who introduces himself as Mukesh and stated he was an Oni. “Whoa…” I say from behind him, “I guess I suck as sensing. I would have pegged you to be a human!” I was in a social and good mood since it seemed like we were in a tournament like setting now; now stuff like this, I was used to.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region Luckily, I find myself saved from having to interact with the peons. At first, I am caught off guard as the setting around the area I was in changes rapidly. It seemed as if the actual area I was in was not affected, but the area around it seemed to blur and after that I found myself in a nostalgic place. “Hmmm…” I murmur lightly remembering this place from memories past. It wasn’t a pleasant or unpleasant type of remembrance, simply a neutral one. My gaze shifts to the southern area of this place where I notice the approach of a miscellaneous demon. My body starts to drift in his general direction as his mouth opens and words spew from it. As he speaks, my gaze lifts over the span of the tournament grounds, still from my ascended position above the carnival. It was impressive in size and something I had never noticed before. It seemed like an arena worthy to fight those worthy within. I wondered to myself if I would enter into this game. By the end of the centaur’s words, I understood why the traps were laid to draw people here. Though I did not agree with being brought without prior information or without me willing it, I did find myself a bit interested in the prospect of testing my strength against other from this or other realms. With a nod, I assert to myself that I would be winning this tournament. My body drift downwards and my feet come to the grounds outside of the area where the booth would be set up; I look to the one doing the registering and those who would speak to him. As I land, the previously mentioned golems, carpenter, lumberjack and miner approach and inform me of their take on this area. “My lord,” the lumberjack speaks, “will you fight in this dark tournament.” I give a glance to him, and then return my gaze up with a solemn nod. With that, I send him and the others to stand in line and register my name; I was more concerned with the ‘rules’ of this tournament than its procedures.

"a pleasure to meet you Hoax." a giggle escaped my mouth as I placed a hand up to cover it. "I like your name." I shook my head as he came to the conclusion that I wasn't a spirit. "No. I'm not" About this time the entire place began to spin and I scooped up the little talking animal and held him protectively. In my mind I wouldn't let anything happen to him and I would protect him the best way I knew how. When it stopped I watched as the centaur came out and began to speak. "We're not in Sai City anymore, Hoax" Wasn't that kinda like a movie I saw once. I giggled a bit and nodded. "If you want to go see it, we'll go see it. It would be fun to watch. I'm not strong enough to fight, but this seems interesting." I looked over to bob and it seemed like he went all stiff like a statue. I sighed and shook my head. So carrying Hoax, I walked towards the arena. "Let's go watch."

I had left Murkesh's shoulder while he attacked the wolf demon. So after he had settle the sword back and time resumed, I settled back onto his shoulder. It was understandable that he was in a foul mood, so would I be if such a thing had happened to me. So we were now in hell. One place I had never thought to find myself. I fluffed out my wings and tilted my head while looking around. The Demon spouting foul words caught my attention. If I had an eyebrow to arch, it would have done so as I look to Murkesh. If he wanted to enter this tournament, then I would need to back him up as per our agreement. "If you feel the need to enter, then I guess I really have no choice but to follow along." Riding on his shoulder as he approached the man and gave his name, I pipped up and spoke, "Aria, Kami" about this time a boy came up behind us and started talking. Turning my head, I glance at him and cluck my beak at him. Letting Murkesh reply before I make my own.

After registering and the bird doing the same he was setting off when he was spoken to. He looked over his shoulder that the bird wasn't on at the boy behind them. "Thats the point of this form. But I guess you require more training." He said but there was a pretty dead give away about his form. His eyes were a dead give away that he wasn't a normal person. They were blue, but had such a strong silver shine to them, it was other worldly. But at the person's comment Mukesh instantly felt that he should have registered as a human. It would have givin him an advantage of fooling his opponent. But it did't matter any more. For a moment he felt he should transform into his true form. But he rejected the idea quickly. Even if they knew he was a demon. Not every demon could transform. He would hold back as much information about himself as he could.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region It seemed like a straightforward comment in reply to my jovial conversation opening. I pegged him to be of the same caliber as Nova when it came to personality. Now that I knew he was an Oni, I wondered just how similar he was to what I thought was the only other Oni I knew. Still, my balloons could not be deflated by an off handed comment. With a cocky grin I thumb under my nose and answer, “ah, I see. Maybe.” Since he was a demon, I knew he must have his own bag of tricks. My thoughts were along the line that I could be going up against him, others like him, or stronger than him. I wasn’t too worried about those weaker than me, since I would end those fights quickly; I needed experience and I was hyped I had this avenue to do it in. Moving after Mukesh, I speak to the hell doggy, “Seiki” with a jutted thumb to my chest, “one hundred percent human.” I would leave off the additional hundred percent of awesome and the supplementary two hundred percent GAR. After signing up, I turn and walk away from the booth, wondering if the big guy would get to the rules right away. Looking to Mukesh, I comment, “but you seem pretty confident. How do you think the competition will be? Nice bird.”

My feathers ruffled a bit as a chuckle come forth. Since I had already sign up and spoken my name as well as my race. The boy had a jovial nature, unlike my companion here. I spoke up in reply to the boy's comment about my form. My voice was soft as a summer wind, and as lovely as the setting of the sun, "I am Aria." I glanced over to the horse demon as we waited for him to explain the rules. This might just be a one on one and if so, Murkesh was on his own if that was the case, I would not be able to help him. But he was a strong fighter and I was sure that they would not allow people to die from this. If so I would have to lend my healing skills to help heal them. "Murkesh? If this is solo, then you shall have to fight on your own, but I will raise you should you fall." That would keep my end of the bargain.

When Seiki disappeared, I glanced to Rei and shrugged. I had heard the cursing speech over the lady in red. Nodding to Rei, I walk back up the aisle and out the door to see what was the reason for the braying of the cursing person. Sighing, I slowly walk towards the area of gathering beings and stop in amusement. My silver clothing and hair was enough of a beacon to draw some attention from the demonic vendors selling their wares. My chin held high even though from the words I was hearing, we were now in hell. A place I had never dreamed of visiting. There in the line that was forming stood people from Domenance including a certain demon's golem. If he was here then his master was somewhere near. Stopping I glance behind me to see if Rei followed and had noticed the sight as well. Glancing back to the golem I tilt my head and think. According to the words of the bull centaur, there was a tournament. It would stand to reason that Domen would be here to enter such a tournament, so his minions were signing him up. IF he was not in line there were two other options, he was either roaming or.. my head tilted upwards as my eyes scanned the skies for Domen. How strange that we would be here together. Fate was a funny woman, throwing me into the same events together with him. I wondered if he had even seen me. Most likely not. HE was not in the skies as I had first thought. So that meant he was somewhere on the ground. So I glanced for that countenance I knew so well. The miner caught my form and I smiled to him. He was one of the lesser members of Hakim's family. Without having to speak he nodded in the direction I should move. That was when I saw him, with that I made my way gracefully through the crowd and step up beside him.

The centaur cross his arms and nods.
“Yes, yes… hurry up ya bastards and sign up.”
The hell hound happily takes the names and races of the people joining. He was very skilled at writing in kanji with a brush in his muzzle. He hums away and growls happily.
“Mm… hmm… very nice… an Oni you say… okay next… a Human… very nice…”
A creature that looks like a bat mixed with a lion flies and lands next to the centaur holding a loud horn in his mouth. The centaur takes it and turns it on. He talks to the messenger.
“Thanks Batleo.”
The centaur lifts the loud horn up and goes over the rules. Now his voice was amplified and could probably do weak damage on impact.
“Okay bastards, listen up!”
There is a loud squeal. He looks at the loud horn and tweaks it.
“Stupid yochi… thing… TESTINNNNNG!...”
He gets the sound right. He clears his throat and then goes over the rules.
“Okay! (Ya bastards). The tournament’s like this: there are no rules. There are rules of agreement. When you go and fight, you can do whatever you and your opponent agree on. If you’re a pansy and you need a friend to help you fight, that’s fine if your opponent is okay with it. The same goes both ways. There’s a limit to how many people can be in a battle. No more than 3. It gets stupid past that point. Your opponent is going to be random. Luck of the draw. We won’t know who’s fighting who until everyone is signed up. After you get signed up you will get a SpiriBuddy… they’re these little spirits that look like cherubs with headsets on. Do not be freaked out by the floating naked psychotic babies. They won’t eat you.”
“They might.”
“Correction, they might. Don’t let them. They will be your personal guide. They’ll know where you’re supposed to go and how to get there.”
“They like blood.”
“Yes, they like blood. Anyways… am I forgetting anything Batleo?...”
While this is going on the rest of the people, spirits and demons there complete their sign-in and registration. It was mostly humans or demons from yochi who are in this line… because that was the purpose of the carnival. The centaur was almost done with the rules. The people who were spectators were walking to the coliseum. The people who were freaked out where running to the gate to return home. Demons chased them around just to mess with them (or to eat them).

The human seemed incessant on talking to Mukesh. while he didn't really mind, he didn't invite it either. He then asked what he thought would happen. "These tournaments are a normal thing. Every now and then they will do something like being another realm into it. A century ago there was an issue. A demon that no one really knew about froze half the competition, in the waiting room. After that, putting everyone in the same area wasn't recommended." He said recalling the event that he narrowly escaped.
The bird then told him how, if he had to fight solo she would only help him after. If she had not spoken up to the hellhound. She could have been passed off as a pet bird and been in there with him regardless. But as a Kami it seemed it wasn't in her nature to be deceitful. "Don't worry about it, im sure you will be allowed." He said as the centaur then bellowed the rules confirming what Mukesh said about her joining him. This would be a major advantage for Mukesh. As long as she didn't give herself away to anyone else. They could enter any fight together by him just saying. "Its my familiar,." Or "Its my pet and wont leave me." That way they could not complain.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region With the compliment to the bird, I wasn’t actually expecting the feathered creature to speak to me. I figured it was a pet or something, which led my first impressions of the guy known as Mukesh to be somewhat complicated and compassionate; an animal lover. Now that the bird spoke, I would have to rethink that. A bird with a good grasp of our language was more of a companion than the average dog. I am slightly taken back, which is shown on my visage, but I recompose well enough. I know internally that I really should start to expect this kind of thing given my current surroundings. With a light smile, I welcome, “it’s nice to meet you Aria.” She seemed a lot nicer than the colder male.
My face winces as the loud horn squawks and a high pitch noise pierces the air. I look back towards the large announcer wondering “why would they need to give him that…” The rules come out, very loudly, and I understand what type of tournament this would be. “Hmph,” I murmur to myself, “if it’s going to be like that, I’ll just have to fight my hardest…” The thing about the cherubs worried me lightly, but I hoped that I would get a docile one.
I look back to Mukesh as he speaks and gives me a bit of insight about the tournament. So I could tell that this wasn’t new to him; he had an advantage in knowing what to expect. With a nod, I answer, “cool.” I watch as he speaks to his bird and around that time, my spirit buddy comes floating my way and hovers at head level. As described, it was a butt naked floating baby with a twisted expression on its face. I chuckle nervously as I reach my finger out to pet it, “aren’t you a cute little…” It attempts to take my finger off. My hand instantly retreats to my chest as I clutch it protectively, shaking and looking at the odd baby. “It tried to eat me…” I murmur, “I got a bad one…”

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region I remain behind and allow those who had come with me, or rather come before me, to go off to the counter and sign me up for the festivities that would be on coming. It seemed like those who had been scattered among the carnival found a place to congregate here as things had seemed to move on. I continue to stand motionless with my arms folded simply observing the scenes about me. Among the simpletons, a figure comes through the crowd and stops at my side. My gaze shifts to the side as I notice my woman had found me, even in this realm. With her, I did not see Kaelas, which was unfortunate. I also didn’t see the fairy, which was sleeping within her garments in some portion of her body. With a nod, I accept her solo presence, not seeming very surprised by her arrival. Looking back up and to the announcer, I request, “where are the others?” By others, I would be referring to Rei, Kaelas, and anyone else who served me in some manner. If they were here, that was fine, if not, it was still fine.
The boisterous voice of the announcer echoes across the carnival grounds and the rules are made very clear. I had decided to do as I wished from the beginning, but the rules seem to solidify that I could do just that. By this time, those who served me, the oddity rendition of the village people consisting of a minder, carpenter, lumberjack and two golems, had made it to the front sign in area to add me to the roster of fighters. Since the golems were mute, one of the humans, the carpenter, speaks, “the god of Domenance, Master Domen’yun, will be entering the tournament.” They didn’t know what to refer to me as, since it was never clarified that I was a demon or of what type, but they offer the title ‘god’ to suffice.

I could feel his eyes upon me and I glanced up to him for a moment before both of us turned to face the centaur now with something that made his voice even louder. When he had stopped with the rules I smiled and began to answer Domen's question. "Rei is somewhere in the carnival. Kaelas was outside of the city when I found the sign. Paco is... " Reaching into the space between the brooch that rested between by breast and my clothing, I pull out the fairy and offer him to his master. "quite safe. As for others, I do not know." It was rather strange that we were both here. I would not, did not need to ask if he was entering this tournament, he would not be here listening if that was not the case. So instead I simply asked, "Do wish my assistance for this tournament?" My eyes were still on the centaur in front of us.
Kaelas having watched for his mistress to exit the city was caught by surprise as a little multicolored thing appeared in front of him causing a few people to look at it. Only a few of the humans seemed to be able to see it and when they touched it, they disappeared. There was a saying that involved the death of a cat that belong here as Kaelas touched it as well and was transported to the carnival. He had be wondering aimlessly when he felt the tug of his master's presence close by. Nothing had killed him, but he wondered if something might try. Demons were everywhere as he passed by vendors and such. The large feline finally caught the scent of his master as well as his mistress on the wind. With a growl he tracked them to an area where multiple races were gathered. Sitting himself down he caught his master's frame and waited.

Song:
If he had learned anything at all about me from our journey into the past, it would have been, that I was not much of a talker in general unless I had something to say. But any spiritual being worth his salt would figure out at a glance that I was a spirit. Although a second glance might be required to figure out what flavor of spirit I was. Without much more said, I sit upon his shoulder and glance at the mortal teenager behind us. Just as a baby floated by his head and tried to eat his finger. A husky chuckle came forth again as I blinked silver eyes. My tri-colored feathers ruffled in merriment, the moonlight tips catching the light of whatever was around and reflecting it. It was a dull a light so hence a dull reflection, but enough to catch the eye and sparkle. The silver faded up into a deep blue and then into a deep purple almost black. Just like the colors of twilight. I was rather large for a nightingale, but what did one expect of my kind. I clucked my tongue against my dark beak as a form of laughter. Perhaps the boy should try to eat it first.

After pulling Azhure close to me I keep my gaze fixed on the male demon and as he speaks to me I frown faintly at what he has to say to me. I didn't like the tone of the voice the man and ahd my frown quickly shifted to a glare as I looked at him, did he want to get his ass kicked? As he askd her if she would like to get a drink my glare deepend a bit while I kept my gaze fixed on the man. Again he had ignored me in there little conversation. When I heard Azhure speak up, agreeing to go with him for this drink my gaze instantly shifted from Tyrn to Azhure, looking down at her as she looked at me and spoke to me now. I listened to her go and and remained silent for a moment after she had finsihed speaking, turning my gaze from her to Tyrn, I glanced him over again before finally giving a faint nod, " Alright.. " I say with a soft growl as I begin to release my grip on her, " I will see you when you are finished with your drink. " releasing her fully I let my arm fall back to my side as I glance to Tyrn for a moment before looking back at her, " I will go and take a look around, I'll find you when you are finished. " I said with a faint nod while looking down at her.

The look on his face says it all for me. I just look at him and grin until her thoughts turn dark and I catch an image that is VERY familiar to me. It appears again and it is Novak, a demon that used to do work for me in Onitoshi. So he and this female demon were intimate. Interesting. The image of Novak fades into Valkrist and for a moment I find myself vexed by it all. Another moment passes and I put the pieces together. "Novak? What's with the new form and new name? Are you trying to hide from me now?" I must admit that it is a good illusion since I could not see thru it. My body glows faintly, but his appearance remains, which brings a furrow to my brow. Looking over at Azhure, I realize that I need to handle business before catching up with him. "We will catch up soon, Novak. For now, business first. Excuse us." I do not make note of my displeasure towards Novak for violating this demoness. I would deal with that later. I have emasculated him enough for now.
I would lead Azhure away while the centaur is talking, so she and I could speak in private. "That will be a nice change of pace to watch some fights. Azhure, tell me something... why are you so weak? And what would you be willing to do to correct that?" Well my word choice could be considered suggestive or an innuendo, I decide to get straight to the point. I am not one for beating around the bush in these sorts of matters. Besides, the roar of the crowd will probably make it harder to speak once we get inside.

I smile at Valkirst and give him a quick peck on the cheek. Turning from him, I let Psyre lead me away to talk. The talking centaur was furthest from my mind. His questions gave me a moment of thought as I rolled it around my mind in order to get an answer. "I guess I am so weak due to the fact that the last few months I've spent with a pack of wolf demons. Weak Yokai and I have not done anything but survive. I would be willing to do just about anything to gain power." My eyes narrowed as I stilled my thoughts and calmed the demon known as Legion. Power was what it craved and revenge. But it seemed like Legion was right, power could get me what I wanted. "What are you offering and for what price?" I was just as blunt and to the point as he. Tyrn seemed to know Valkirst and it made me wonder just how him and Valkirst had known each other.

“No… those are the rules.”
The centaur in the TapOut! shirt nods.
“Okay… these bastards are sure taking a while to get signed in… the bastards…”
The turns around and looks at the stadium area. A few of the large screens are visible from the carnival area. The names of the fighters show up on the screens as the hell hounds take them down. There were a lot of names and races on the roster already. Kind of notable was that Rayje, The Leviathan, and Marcos’s names were on the list.
Everyone who signed up got a SpiriBuddy. One would go to Mukesh, Domen, Seiki, and everyone else who signed up. Music starts to play from the coliseum area.

I like this demoness! She is honest and direct as well. "Wolf demons? Bah! It all makes sense now. Novak wasn't a bad fighter, but a mentor and trainer, he is not. It is unfortunate that you were led around by a blind dog."
With all the assorted demons and such around, I did not notice anyone or expect to be noticed myself, but there is an Onitoshian demon that makes it to the front of the line and when asked for his name, he speaks, "I am here to register my lord, Psyre of Xartias. He is a Dark Kami." He bows to the hell hound and walks off. I am curious if he is going to come find me and inform me that I am going to be fighting or if it is going to be a surprise to me.
Still walking with Azhure, I stop, "You would be willing to do anything? Good. That is the sort of drive and determination that I desire. I need an agent to serve my needs in my realm. You are attractive, resourceful, and willing to get your hands dirty. Also, you are willing to step outside of your bonds to obtain what you want." We come to a door to a tavern like establishment and I would open the door for her to head inside. Since this is a classier tavern, I ask for a private section in the back so that we aren't disturbed. "Tell me, Azhure, besides power and revenge on Novak, what else do you want?" I had not answered her question intentionally. My answer was not ready yet. There is more that I need to know before I make my offer.

No later had the human's Cherub appeared, than Mukesh's had as well. The floating demonic baby looked at Mukesh, then bared its fangs at him. As if a happy smile that he would enjoy eating him. But Mukesh returned it with a cold stare, that quickly made the creature back off. It then took a flaoting position to the opposite shoulder of Mukesh.
The demon noticed the large screens and music coming from the stadium area. He looked to the little bird. "We are going." He said as he began to walk towards the coliseum

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region I look to her as the fairy is fetched from her bosom and raised and presented to me. I look to it, but did not necessarily reach out for it. Paco is awoken by this suddenly movement and rubs his eyes sleepily while smacking his gums; looking around he notices that he was in Kazakura’s hand and no longer in her supple valley. Noticing me, his face brightens as he welcomes, “master!” I frown slightly at the small entity and ignore him while Kazakura continues. Lifting from her hands, the fairy flies on buzzing wings, hovering at face level along with us. When she asks me if I would require her assistance in the tournament, I scold, “do not get in my way.” It was my experience that when she was around during a battle, she normally ended up unconscious or wounded somehow. Due to her always getting hurt, it could be skewed to look as if I were starting to become at least a little bit protective over her. I make up in my mind that I would win this tournament on my power, which should be more than sufficient. Paco chimes in with a grin and pumps his arms speaking, “I’ll make sure to unlock as much of your power as I can!” I frown as my gaze looks to him, but I do not warrant him with a response.
As willed, Kaelas comes to my side. I would not be utilizing him in battle either. His role would be to assure the safety of the priestess during this tournament. I wasn’t the type to ask for help being as self sufficient and prideful as I were.
Around this time, a freakish nude toddler floats into our circle of conversation. As it hovers towards me, I freeze it with a piercingly demonic glance, temporarily binding it, not wishing for it to approach closer. Paco apparently reappears back to where we were with a small brochure of the festivities and explains, “this is our tour guide.” Instead of trying to understand where he got a pamphlet, I simply nod and allow the presence of the chaotic cupid. In looking to Kazakura, Paco smiles in a joyful manner and nods, speaking, “let’s do our best to support the master!”

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region The naked floating baby was freaking me out a little, but it only seemed to attack when it wasn’t looking, so I figured as long as I kept an eye on it, I would be ok. I grin sheepishly as I notice that I amused the bird that was on the shoulder of the dry male oni. My gaze shifts to Mukesh as he informs that they were going and with that, they walked away. The vibe I got was that I wasn’t invited to go with them. I figured I wouldn’t be a tag along, even though he knew more about this place than I did. I would be fine getting along by myself, and on top of that, I remember that I had to find Akera to make sure she was ok and save in all of this madness; she had to be around her somewhere! Looking around, my eyes come to rest on someone familiar with a large guy who looked like he would be a tough opponent in the upcoming rounds. With that, I jog through the crowd towards Domen and Kazakura. Reaching them around the time Kazakura finished speaking if she responded to him, I come to a stop give a short nod and a “hi” to both of them before looking to Kazakura and saying, “funny meeting you here! Can you believe we’ve been warp to some freaky realm for a tournament? That’s weird, huh?” It was nice to see another face that I knew; it seemed like a couple people I knew were around. I didn’t know if she knew Kazakura, but I figure that it couldn’t hurt to ask if she’s seen her; I would wait on her reply first, however. The hectic cherub slowly drift into place behind me and starts gnawing on my hair.

A lot of thing's had occurred since she had arrived at the karnival, but it was things to be put on notice, but she did manage to win some random game that had given her an outfit, though it didn't really appear to be all that much more covering than her just walking around in her underwear. It was a simple jean short shorts that were just slightly longer at the leggings and the top was a very short cut shirt that stopped at just below her breasts and it was long sleeved. IT wasn't much but it would do, She pondered though as to how they got it but it mattered now, she gotten boot's to add into the outfit so she wouldn't be barefoot and constantly feel the mushiness of the floor.
More stuff happen and now they were in hell to but it bluntly it seems a tournament was going to start, so Izumi figured she would watch, she kept her guard up because this place swarmed with demon's and for some reason as she noticed they all seem to have a thing for raping woman so she had to be careful. She wasn't going to participate in the battle, but she was going to watch. So she headed for the arena, being cautious or where she stepped and all as she made her way there.

Lot's of stuff happened after that mob wanted to kill those people for killing Kazakura. Was it true? did they kill her? Seijin was saddened at this to find out that Kazakura could be dead, so she assaulted that guy to send him into the sign which he disappeared. She felt so upset tear's formed into her eye's as she would weep for the loss of her ally, but in her walking away crying she accidently bumped into someone and fell over landing upon a sign in which she was teleported into the karnival just before it teleported again into the place of hell.
Her crying instantly stopped as she was taking the time out to look at what in the world was going on and try to figure out what had just happened. Lot's of noise and yelling for her to stand up with a slight jump. She looked around again and noticed the various demon's and human's all about. What was this place exactly? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't about to leave just yet, her curiosity was striking her rather hard, her tears long since gone from her eyes since she had been quite heavily distracted. She made her way for the arena, apparently it was some sort of tournament.

The glare remains on my face as Tyrn speaks the name I use to go by, it seemed he had finally found out who I use to be, though that was no problem nor did I care. " Their is no need to hide from you Tyrn so why would I wish to? " I ask, tilting my head faintly to the side as I watch Tyrn. When I felt the peck on the cheek from Azhure I glanced down at her before turning my attention back to Tyrn as she steps away from me and begins to follow after him. I watch them for a moment, letting out a soft growl before I finally turn my attention away from them with a faint shake of the head. Now that Azhure had been taken away from me for the moment I had to find something else to keep me occupied, though it seemed as if some sort of fight was going to take place and upon further inspection we were also no longer in a human realm but onithoshi.

Seemingly between the ephemeral soundings of the sweep-second, an onslaught had been delivered pitilessly upon the structure of a Canaveral demon. Beyond the perception of seemingly the populace in its entirety, all that could be perceived was literal instantaneous movement from one portion of ground to another. Impalpable motions found company with the nigh fortuitous bestowment of damage. The blade’s guffaw took the form of a ridiculing glistening, to which a pretermitted yokai continued to watch with potent intrigue and surprise. Hide of a depthless midnight paint, this miniature creature only caught the beginnings of this potential scuffle by chance. The surprise drained from the ceaseless black of his eyes before reclaiming their characteristic amusement.
Peerless speed perhaps? Okua continued to dwell upon the unseen action within the benighted interior of his mind. Nonchalant and aimless were the steps he took, but each always drew him around the proximity of this individual. Finally, he had started towards the coliseum. It was a reminder than he should begin towards his own destination. However, before that, the lesser demon could not help but direct a word of parting.
“Good luck, Oni!” Okua called with his unchanging expression. The trio of words would be the only cast his way before he turned away and made his way towards the area he would be observing amidst many of the others who, for one reason or another, decided not to partake in this challenge. He continued to question if, perhaps, that higher order demon did possess the same kind of magix has him.

Carrying the demon known as Hoax to the seats, I begin to search for a place to sit somewhere close. In fact, with a sudden smile, I slip into aisle at the very front of the arena seating. Quite a few blood seeking, gore loving Yokai and Oni were seated here. With strange looks and much hissing and growling, I excused myself until I found a seat. If this were a football field, we would be on the fifty yard line. Holding Hoax, I squeezed into a spot between large four eyed monster under the bed and a hot red colored demon with six horns and two ape looking heads. MY smile never faltered as I politely said, "Excuse me" and wiggled between them. Placing Hoax my comfortable lap I got ready to watch the fight. The railing right in front of us. "How's this for a seat?" I ask the dog on my lap. The two much bigger demons were glancing down at me like they would like to eat me or other things, but then I looked up at the and smiled that sweet innocent little smile and asked them. "Aren't these seats great?" Grumbles and growls were all I got in return but I took them for affirmations.

The naked baby floating there startled me as Murkesh began to walk towards the arena. It was ugly and evil looking. I clucked my beak at it as we were off. Whispering into Murkesh's ear so I couldn't be overheard, I chuckled as I looked at all the names on the list. "Do you think we will win?" I still had spells he had never seen before. It would be fun to test my strength against others like this, but I did not like being in hell. So the naked baby would lead us to our next destination, or did it just hover there and look freaky. Glancing behind us I catch Seiki talking to a human woman. IT wasn't the woman that caught my eye but the male beside her. "Murkesh, look behind you. That one might be one of the ones you are up against. The one near the woman that the green haired boy is talking too." It might be good to size up the competition.

AS I listened to him finish with that one comment, a demented looking baby comes up and grimace. "I do not plan to get in your way." It was never planned to get in his way or hurt. But fate willed it so most of the time. "I shall return in a moment, then" I might as well sign myself up as well. Or at least ask the demonic beings at the sign up how I should go about playing accessory. As I turned around, I almost ran into Seiki again as he began to ramble on. I chuckled and spoke in my usual soften voice. "Greetings again Seiki. I wondered what had happened to you." Another baby was hovering around the boy and gnawing on his hair. "I see you are signed up for the tournament. If would please excuse me, I will be right back." With that I bowed and moved past him to the sign up tables. Slipping up to one and knowing that I was sure to be snickered at or looked down upon, I still asked. "Might I sign up for a spot as an accessory, or team member? Only to be used if necessary." I just was not that much of a fighter. Although I was good with ranged fighting.

The centaur speaks to the Bat Lion demon.
“I’m going to the staging area. You finish herding the cattle here.”
He lumbers in the direction of the coliseum. In this time the rest of the contestants finish signing in. The last stragglers are registering their name (last post to sign up for the tournament portion). The sign up board shows over 60 contestants signed up for the tournament but it looked like the top two ranked from last year both got bys.
More rules for the tournament are on the large screens around the coliseum. The words at the bottom say single elimination. A countdown ticker starts for the first set of matches.
The hellhound sees Kazakura walk up. He completely misunderstands her request. xD
"Ah, what's that? You wish to sign up for staff and help out the team?! How delightful! A new member to Team Dark Tournament! We have hundreds of buffoons who can destroy but 3 who can heal! You look like you can heal... I FEEL like you can heal! We can't pay you, but thank you for volunteering. Here, here is your staff badge, just put it around your arm and put this pin on. How nice of you, you're so great! Yes, you can pick which matches you work in. Make sure to speak with the other staff members when you get to the stage. Here, take this pamphlet, it will tell you everything you need to know, and just sign here to waive the supplementary insurance!"
He smiles and offers her a sheet of paper written in hellhoundish.

I followed along behind the male known as Tyrn and smirk as he leads me into the classier tavern around here. We were shown to a table in the back, it was more secluded and we could be free to talk. I was glad to be away from Valkirst for a time. I could collect my thoughts. I listened as he spoke and took it all in. My eyes closed as I centered myself and collected my thoughts, with a soft sigh, I released my pent up breath and opened my eyes ready to speak. The grey of my eyes bright as I looked at him. "I want security. Is that not what most people want, friendship, and a purpose. Something besides survival. I want to claw my way into society and make a name for myself." I blinked and stopped short as if I had said too much. For a brief moment, I looked down at my small hands upon the table, and a very vulnerable look crossed my face before I covered it with a sexy smile. I was a tough woman, I could handle most anything thrown at me, but like most women, I had a softer side. It was just harder to see past the curves and sexiness.

Adrian moved patiently with the others, having cleaned himself up after the Lard incident. The Devil's Teardrop was at his side, but he didn't seem to be bothered by the number of contestants. Moving silently he signed his name on the line, though he used the alias "Ashram" since that's what very few would know him as. He walked patiently from the sign up area to the arena. He moved silently, not saying a word as he went, stretching his limbs as he went. He cracked his knuckles and sat down his eyes closing as he began to find his center. The Devil's Teardrop rested against his shoulder. He could almost hear the spirit inside the sword whispering to him as he sat there. He breathed slowly, finding his focus quickly enough as he readied himself for the fight.
This was going to be an ordeal, and he knew that there were more than a few people here that would prove difficult. But he was not about to let anyone stand in the final round but himself and Domen'Yun. At least that's what he hoped for. A battle the two of them could fight out there, one on one. It would be a true test of his skill, but even as he was he couldn't expect to win. The demon could fly, and unless something kept the two of them on the ground. He wasn't stupid but he was much stronger than most humans. And he wasn't afraid of any demons here or otherwise. And his techniques could more than likely reach nearly anything that he couldn't reach with his own blade.
But this was Hell. And he wouldn't count on anyone giving him a fair fight. He reached behind his head, tying the mask of Fu Leng tighter before he let his head rise, his mind focused. He wouldn't let anything get the better of him at the moment, let alone his emotions. He breathed slowly as he let it fill him with the strength he desired. His eyes stared ahead of him unseeing as he began to visualize what would happen next.

It seemed Mukesh had become quite a bit more popular than he had intended. Though he should have expected it, since he was back in Hell. He was just glad that the Centaur nor the hellhound recognized his name. Seeing as it was not his original name, but the one he was givin here in hell.
He had slain a great boar demon. The creature was nothing to the upper rankings of hell, but to the common demons this boar had been indestructible. The boar Demon Muka had been its name. And it had evidently was one of the demons in folk tales of the human world. And Mukesh had beaten it only within a year of arriving in hell.
Though it didnt matter if they knew him or not. But the people around the carnival seemed to be attracted to Mukesh somehow. Though this was all in his mind. He heard a voice tell him good luck, though he didn't see a person in the area the voice came from. Only what seemed to be a demonic animal that was now trotting away. The little bird then spoke up asking if they could win. "Im not going to go win. Im going to kill. So if that means I win, then so be it. As long as you support me, we should be fine." He said, then he looked over his shoulder at the group the bird was talking about. There was the green haired guy from earlier, a pretty woman. And while he for a moment saw nothing that would catch his concern, the last person actually made him stop walking. The man with the white hair. At first glance he would just look like any middle aged man, but Mukesh noticed far more than that. He had an air about him.
Not to want to seem obvious Mukesh started walking again, looking away from the group. "Your right, this should be interesting." He said, a minor grin creeping on his face.

Something was thrust to me as the hound looking demon rambled on about being staff quickly. I could not catch everything he was saying and half of the words were new to me. But the gist of it was that somehow I had signed up for an unpaid position as a healer. All I could was nod as I was assaulted by a paper that I needed to sign and some sort of writing utensil. Using it I signed my name to the 'waiver' although I had no idea what it was I was signing or in what language the writing was in. I handed back the paper with a sigh as I put the thing on like he told me too. At least I could choose where I worked. When he finished speaking with me and had given me everything I needed that labeled me staff I asked him, "I-is this everything? So I am to be a healer for the tournament. Alright, is there anything else I need to know?"
I would give him time to answer and give me anything else that was required before leaving him with the final words of "I will do my best" Then I would moved back to the Seiki and Domen assuming they were in the same area.

SeVen walks up to the table and smiles at the lady but pushes her way to the table and puts her arms on it and tries to look at the papers on it. She sees the hellhound and says to him "I would like to be in the tournament. I am SeVen and I am a little girl." She grabs a floating baby and holds it under her arm like a dollie. "When do we start?"

Little more than nigh inaudible, inquisitive grumblings and curious glances escaped Hoax who still appeared to be within the girl’s grasp. How strange a sight, each seemingly contrasting greatly against the demonic backdrop that was the spectators. The growls that escape the various creatures they passed by would received one in return. Often had Hoax leaned towards the few his angling would permit, letting escape low, uncongenial growlers of his own. He had yet to stop until he had been addressed, to which his expression was drained of its hostility almost immediately. He nodded approvingly, unable to truly appreciate the quality seats the girl had gotten for them both. Such was to be expected to those aware of his lingering ignorance and naivety – or so it would appear. Soon, he would allow another growl, lower than those previous, to present itself in response to those the two beside them had been drizzling them with.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region I accept her words with a nod, not giving much more attention to them than that. She knew what I expected, so she would be expected to act accordingly. She states that she would be leaving momentarily, and though I didn’t inquire to where, I allowed the departure. I assumed she was going to get information on the tournament; I would have verbally forbid her from entering had I thought she would do such a foolish thing. My gaze shifts from her back and moves upon the sight of a young boy who starts to make his way towards me, or rather us. At first, he is an uninteresting figure approaching before me until I recognize him as the servant to my previous master. A sore topic, the thought of me having a master at some point in my revival into this world was unsettling and something that I would very much so like to forget, but still the boy makes his approach and it causes me to wonder if he recognized me. I never displayed myself to him when bound to Natsuki, so I didn’t think that he would be able to recall me, but if he had the ability to sense, I knew it could be a possibility he would find me familiar.
His words totally negate the thoughts of him recognizing me, but I do find it interesting that he recognizes Kazakura. Furthermore, she knows him by name and addresses him so in her departure. As she leaves, my gaze shifts attentively on the boy, my crimson eyes seeking his visage no more information in my countenance than a stern visage of general disapproval and disgruntleness. I did not speak to the boy; I merely gazed upon him as if questioning his purpose in life before me.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region The small talk seemed to be a failure. I wanted to be light and airy, as if running into her for the first time as kind of a “redo” of our meeting in lieu of the earlier fiasco. From her reaction, I judge that she hadn’t forgotten about the motor boating incident just yet. She seemed nice enough with her smile and light words, so that was a good thing, but she seemed to be in a hurry to get away after I had come over. There was still a chance that I was reading her wrong, but I didn’t think that I was the type to be dense (laugh). I passively shoo the odd naked cherub from my head, to which he retreats momentarily and returns to chewing as my attention turns to the large golem like behemoth that stood before me. “Massive…” I murmur looking up at him. His red eyes pierce me and for a moment I wondered if I would have to fight someone like him. I wasn’t scared; the bigger they were, the harder I felt I could make them fall. I figured he was probably a demon since I didn’t think they made humans that big. I wondered for a moment how he knew Kazakura. With a confident grin, I greet the large man, “hey, Big Guy! I’m Seiki, a martial artist. What’s your name?” I hold out a hand to offer a shake to him before I realize, “wait… are you Kazakura’s dad?”

"Sign me up, eh?" A woman, assertive in manner and a default glare only made more unpleasant by her glowing, greenish yellow eyes grumbled, slamming her hand down on the signup table. "Name's Grunty. Race... uhh... spirit, yea?"
Her timing probably would've caused her to miss her friend Kazakura, but she only recently figured out what was going on. Some sort of screw up with her void powers had her landing on some sort of weird stop sign, and from there it seemed she'd just appeared near a tournament. Well, no reason to sign up, she'd figured. It'd been awhile since she could just cut loose and blast stuff. Maybe she was out of practice-- who could know?

The curtain to the back section is closed and we are shown to our table. I sit and order some bloodwyne before she answers me. "There is much weakness within you. If you are willing to pledge your loyalty and obedience to me, I will rid you of your weakness and I will make you strong to make that name for yourself. Your thoughts show me great potential in you, Azhure. Now let me show you... power." My eyes glow as I look into hers and speak to her telepathically through a flowing stream of images. They are images of my past battles in which I showcase strategic power moreso over brute power until I show her my Dark Kami form. The last stream of images that she would see is me besting Novak in Solvay Forest.
"I no longer live in this realm, but in the realm known as Yochi Furi. You will be able to create a life there for you and Novak. Believe me that after seeing your thoughts and what he did to you, I plan on reminding him why my rule against taking a woman against her will should not be violated. So I understand that he has his flaws, but he has a loyal heart and cares for you deeply. Plus, he was quite useful to me before he disappeared..."
The hostess returns with the bloodwyne and two goblets. Setting the goblet before each of us and filling the cup, she asks me if we will need anything else. I tell her to bring ambrosia if they have any and she nods to me and leaves the bottle. Turning my attention back to Azhure, I smile at her, "Also, if you serve me loyally, I will teach you to harness the power you will need to subdue Valkrist and force him to yield to your commands."
I take another sip of my bloodwyne to allow her time to digest all of that. Besides, while this is not the best bloodwyne, it is far better than no bloodwyne which is what I have in Yochi Furi. "So what do you think? Would that satisfy all of your desires... or is there more that you crave?"

While enjoying my post breakfast tour of the grounds surrounding the ever growing camp I call home, I happened upon an unsightly blemish in the form of a strange sign marring the serene backdrop of my beautiful desert. This would not do at all, especially when I realize after reading that it seemed to be a garish advertisement for a karnival of sorts complete with some kind of fighting championship. The last thing I need is to lose valuable workers from this business to some frivolous and fanciful celebration or some mindless pissing contest for hothead fighter types, all of which would undoubtedly interest a great percentage of the hard working men that keep this operation running. Having decided that the unsightly sign must go, I cease reading the painfully misspelled advertisements and step forward to rid my home of this dubious distraction. Taking hold of the oddly shaped sign, I mean to pull it's stake from the ground but find myself inexplicably bathed in light.
Once the light fades I am presented with a view of said advertised carnival and find myself filled with disappointment and disgust. I do not have time for such childish antics. Making my way through the masses, seeking anything that proclaims the direction of an exit, I overhead talk of the event organizers addressing the crowd concerning the upcoming tournament. Knowing those responsible for these events would be able to tell me how to get back to my home and my duties, I inquire about the location of this address. The helpful ... man animal hybrid I heard mention the information was glad to point me in the right direction and so I altered my course and headed for the sign up area.
Just as I was about to approach the oddly dressed hybrid announcer, my attention is caught by something oddly familiar. Though I will never admit it aloud, the distinguishing feature of my master that managed to catch my eye was in fact his hair, a fact Harlie would never let me live down should she find a way to gain the information. Altering my course once again, since I could not justify bypassing my master without first checking into see if my presence in this forsaken place could be of any use to him, I bring myself to stand at his side and offer a submissive bow before speaking, completely ignoring the young human with the odd colored hair who appeared to be annoying my master. "Good day to you, Master. I seem to have found myself transported here by accident and was just on my way to find the exit when I noticed you. Is there anything you perhaps need from me before I go?" 455 Interaction: Domen! – STOP TYPING HERE>

The hell hound smiles happily at Kazakura.
“Yes yes… this is all. Meet up with the others for orientation. Follow the guide! Have a free cherub!... okay, bye bye. Oh… a little one! Hi little miss, how are you? Okay, little girl, it starts soon. Please follow to the coliseum. Oh my… aren’t you a straggly one. Yes yes, spirit, thank you for signing up, yes indeed!”
--
There are different shops and areas on the coliseum grounds. A line of participants make their way to an area to the rear of the main coliseum through the crowds. Some go to an area with screens and score boards set up so that people are able to see the names and the match ups going on. There is a small locker room like area that leads to the staging area. Tunnels lead from the staging areas to each fighting arena, but the inside of each arena is covered by a black tinted glass so that no one would be able to see the inside and see what type of terrain each area had.
A hybrid between a hobo and a small angel boy walks around the tournament grounds carrying a sign on his body. It has a wooden board in the front and the back connected by a rope that hangs from his shoulders. He yells out to everyone passing.
“Give your soul to the mighty Shintrey! For just a small piece of your soul you can have one miracle! This is a once in a life time opportunity! Just give some of your soul… The one and only Shintrey is awesome and mighty beyond words!”
People ignore and walk past. Others plot to eat him. Another winged boy walks around in a similar way.
“Trade in your dark scrolls for something great! I can convert them here for a small fee!”
A floating nude cherub follows Psyre into the sectioned off booth and hovers on stand by.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region I continue my diagonal downward gaze on the male youth’s form as he speaks with my arms folded at my chest. From my observations, he didn’t seem like the brightest of humans, and annoyingly enough, he was overly social. As he introduces himself and questions my relationship to the priestess, I simply frown upon him offering him no words. I had nothing in particular to say to him and his presence was a bother, still the link we shared between Natsuki interested me slightly in some manner, but not to the point where I would actually engage the male. I would have Kazakura explain her knowledge of him when she returned. Interrupting this moment of non-conversation; someone of use approaches as I notice Qyn’s arrival to this place. I felt that I must have unconsciously willed him to be here somehow; either way it was good that he was here. I turn to him as he approaches with a greeting bow. With a nod, I acknowledge his presence and listen to his words. After he speaks, I inform, “there seems to be currently no exit to this realm that will place you in your own.” Having heard the announcer’s words and noticing the mix between people of various timelines here, I was able to surmise that the exit of which he spoke lead to the unattended gates of hell and the path. Though I did not know the specifics, I felt that exiting through that way would lead one to the future; there was probably a fifty percent chance that I was correct. Furthermore, I continue, “it is no accident you are here. Your role is to serve me, and I am here. I trust all is well in Harlem?”

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament Location: Carnival Region I kind of stand there with my arm outstretched to give the man a shake, but he simply looks at me. It didn’t even seem as if he noticed my offer for a handshake and above that, he seemed to be displeased with me. ‘Demon vibe…’ I think to myself remembering the mannerisms of Nova and Mukesh. I wondered if all demons were socially repressed. After that thought, I wondered if perhaps I insulted him in some way. It might have been bad to assume that he was Kazakura’s dad, but by the looks of him, he was probably old enough to be. I figured a priestess as hot as Kazakura would have a lumbering ox as a father.
There’s a bit of an awkward silence there and I slowly pull back my hand. We are interrupted as an effeminately charming male approaches and bows to the man. ‘Oh crap, he’s someone important?’ I start to wonder to myself. He -was- with Kazakura after all, and from what I observed in the past, she was supposed to be kind of a big deal around her temple, city and all. It seemed like the guy had forgotten that I was standing there as he speaks to the new comer who ignored me as well. Looking around, I attempt to see if there was anyone else I knew or if Kazakura or Akera was around. I notice a procession towards the tournament grounds, so I decide that I would head that way so that I didn’t miss out on anything. Figuring there was no real need to say goodbye, I simply turn and start off towards the coliseum with naked baby cherub in tow, chewing happily upon the back of my head; I would have to catch up with Kazakura later on.

Adrian's eyes opened silently when the baby thing he'd been handed bit his hand. He glanced at it before it pointed. Shrugging he picked it up, setting it on his shoulder as he rose to his full height. Slipping the cherry wood sheath into place at his hip he moved silently. He carried himself as he usually did, his stride balanced, his shoulders slumped ever so slightly. The way a person walked or carried themselves could tell a person volumes about their character. His eyes narrowed as he went, his gaze shifting as the thing on his shoulder played with his hair. Every time it touched the ribbon keeping the mask in pace, he slapped it's hand away, so his hand was constantly up on his head.
He made his way to the coliseum, not sure what was going to happen but he would at least get to fight. Not something he had come to do but then again before that lard had fallen on him he'd have probably not done a lot. It was something strange even to the swordsman that stood in Hell. He moved as silently as he could, not trying to attract attention. He finally grabbed the thing off his shoulder, carrying it as he went. He was more than pissed at the thing, but as he understood it he needed it. And he wasn't going to be bored out of his mind.
He paused in his tracks hearing someone shouting about giving up part of people's souls. Shaking his head he moved forward, taking half the money from his wallet, before putting it in the spirit's hand as he passed. Even here in the depths of Hell human money was used. And four thousand, seven hundred and fifty dollars was a large amount none the less.
"Here, use it however you see fit." he said, before walking away.

The Dark Tourney - Part 2: The Dark Tournament ... Time: ?? ... Location: Future Realm > Confusion
It was an odd feeling. To me, it was a day much like any other day, but there was something missing. At first it was hard to put my finger on it, but eventually around the afternoon time, I, as well as several within the organization of Division 12, came to realize “…where are all the spirits today?” Though spiritual activity was low during the day, it was still ever present. For all practical purposes, today was one of the best days at work I’ve had at the Division. I wondered if something happened in order to pull all of the spiritual activity away from the city, but on the other hand I had my fear that something ominous was in the workings. I knew that this lull in spiritual activity could be considered the calm before the storm. With that said, at least my unit would not be unprepared for when demonly disaster strikes.
I knew that acting preemptively was better than waiting for something to happen and helped mitigate loses when something did occur. There was a break in paperwork and Izumi wasn’t answering her phone. Deciding not to be cooped up in the office all day, I call up my team to prepare to move out. I don my work attire and strap up to meet with a unit in the Lower Commons. If history was an indicator of anything, if there was something in the making, it would start in the Lower Commons and escalate to the city. In my mind, my team would be in place to scan for hidden spiritual activity and act if the call came in from HQ to move. It was my ‘hunch.’
I make my way from my office and to my car. With my rank, I was able to secure a parking spot in front of the Division. I proceed to drive away from HQ, exiting the protective bubble around the city’s core as I make my way to the commons. Once there, I park across from where my team would be and where our Division 12 van would be situated. Stopping at the parking meter, I reach in my pocket for my card to pay the meter. I pay the meter, move to the trunk of my car, and pull out a duffle bag with the supplies I would carry to the van to store there in case I needed them. Strapping it onto my shoulder, I then close the trunk and move to the side walk. Setting the alarm, I notice my shoe untied. I crouch down by an odd sign that seems to be set unnaturally on the side walk. Not really paying any attention to it, I use it to help myself up… and poof.

As I approached, I noticed that Seiki had been replaced by another male of strangely good looks. I felt a tug similar to the tug that Rei had for me the last time I saw him. Weaving my way gracefully through the crowd I stopped when I reached them, the pin and such on my person that said staff. The dark pin clashed a bit with my silver dress. The man standing with Domen was strangely erotic and I could feel myself being attracted by him. But I did not let that show as I looked questioningly between them. Then I glanced about for Seiki questioning his whereabouts in my mind. He seemed to have wandered off. In an effort to forestall any questions about my status as staff wait until the two of the males were finished speaking before saying, “Apparently they are short on healers.” A slender should rises and arches in a shrug as I wait to find out what they will be doing next. But at least this gave me a safe issue. My eyes catch the massive tiger and I grin. Kaelas had made it here after all. My hand raises as I wait for the beast to come for a pet.
Kaelas glanced at his mistress and rose from his position on the ground to his full height before paddind around to just behind her. Then he leaned his head over her shoulder for a quick chin and neck rub by his mistress. A look of pleasure crossed his face as he was stroked slowly by that slender hand. Down the fur of his neck she slowly stroked. Long digits running through the soft fuzz on the feline.
