| Stinky eeked in surprise, the jump releasing another pocket of air from his bowels as the man grabbed his back leg. The rat's tail whipped around and found the man's shoulders and head, wrapping around his head to obscure his vision as the rat wiggled madly to get out of his grip. The way he'd grabbed the rat's foot had hurt quite a bit, and he tried to pierce the hand gripping his back paw with his hindclaws.
The boy could only keep up with the man's moves. He wasn't fast enough to do much else. Thus, when the nunchuck came down, he held up the pole to block it's descent [block lvl C].
If that worked, he would keep the pole up and slide closer to the man, somewhat in his personal bubble and smile. Health: 100%

It was midnight of the full moon... my favorite time and an hour I usually devoted to prayer. Unfortunately, it was ruined by a ceiling of impenetrable clouds that produced a thick darkness. I was out and about in the large city due to insomnia, but even my unnaturally keen eyes had trouble between the fiercely bright flashes of lightning.
I cursed up at the sky, as though expecting it to change... and surprisingly it did. A fat raindrop fell on my nose, causing me to blink. "Huh?" I asked audibly.
Suddenly, more drops followed,falling on my head and running into my clothes. Even more came, faster, faster, and in a matter of seconds I may as well have been standing under a waterfall. With a hiss at the heavens, I hurried into the nearest building, which at a brief glance I recognized as one of those castles that Haito had in the city... Constance's residence if I recalled correctly... or maybe I recalled wrong. I didn't care. It looked warm enough and most importantly dry, so I ran inside. |
