Samuel gave a slight smirk as he was surfing the internet once again. It had become a ritual for a hacker such as himself to check out the latest security forums to see what the latest viruses might be floating about the internet. *Got to have those slave computers.* Samuel thought to himself with a slight smirk. He personally did not use slave computers, he didn't have the resources to control such a vast horde, but he did like to employ a entire array of viruses to hack into other computers of course there were precious few on his laptop. He didn't like carrying them about on his personal computer. *Should check out the latest webcomics too.* He thought to himself.

You had to admire how Elgoog had managed to corner the entire market on telecommunications, and it was surprising to him that such a corporation had even been allowed to form along with the three other big name corporations. It at least though gave him a steady form of employment. Samuel would look up from his internet surfing and see a woman entering the cafe, one that was pleasing to the eyes, no doubt about that, but he dismissed her from his mind as being unattainable for a computer geek such as himself. *Taking a second job at a software security firm would be fun, learn lots of different ways of exploiting discrepancies in the code. Should talk to Jacob about that sometime, I'm sure he would be interested in such things.* He thought to himself.

He was checking out an article on the latest tech that was coming out when, he clicked on another link he noticed a pretty substantial lag. *They have pretty good connection here, and they make sure to take care of there computers.* Samuel thought to himself as he looked up and noticed that other people were suffering from the exact same condition, which meant that the cafe was experiencing a sudden spike in traffic which was lagging their connection. "What a immature tactic." Samuel would say to himself as he immediatly recgonized it as a DDoS attack, which annoyed him greatly. He only took a cursory interest in the other customers who were filing complaints against the panicked attendant. Samuel would just pop in his wifi receiver and hijack a wireless signal a bit of computer detective work revealed many different sources from around the city and world coordinating the attack, which meant it was a bot horde and the controllers were doing it for fun. *Technically, this is illegal, but I don't think anybody here will know and or care what I do.* Samuel thought to himself as he booted up a particular virus onto the cafe's server, which with each external request that came to it would load up just a little bit of the virus each time until it had uploaded the entire version of it. Now, he just needed to see how effective his counter measures were, and it didn't take long for that to become apparent when abruptly pages were loading normally. *Heh, those bot herders are going to take a long time in getting rid of that virus. It will hijack the control program of the original virus and turn the DDOS back on the ones who had originally sent the order. * Samuel thought to himself with a slight smirk on his face.
