PostSubject: Thunder and Lightning   Sat Mar 13, 2010 3:10 am

It is a starry night and the colds winds kiss her like ice on hot skin. She wears her mundane ‘out of school’ outfit consisting of blue jeans, a white pair of shoes, and a white sweater. The colors of the clothing, having acquired the knowledge from a certain class in school a while ago, weren’t recommended in these temperatures. Nevertheless, she feels comfortable clad within this ivory attire and doesn’t exactly seemed phased by the gelid atmosphere.
Her attention shifts towards a nearby building. Nostalgia clutches her as her crimson eyes elongate. That particular building had been the changing point of her life- she remembers it clearly, perceives through and to the other side of it like a glass wall. The two men whom had so foolishly thieved her from her home- so foolishly ‘infected’ her.
”Let go of me!” Her voice was with fear, ire, and shock as she had been dragged into the confines of the building, kicking and screaming. One of the men seemed to be rather elegant- bestowing a frame so exquisitely built and slender. His skin is pale and he is of a tall stature. The sable shade of his hair surpasses the borderline of twilight. He nods to the man adjacent to him, seemingly instructing him of what to do. Promptly, the young girl is gagged, not even permitted to speak anymore when her movement was already restrained via thick ropes. They let her go into a room. The pale man bends down kneeling down to her and placing his index finger idly upon her chin. He smiles sickly, revealing his enhanced canines. His long fingernails cause a strange sensation upon the stretch of flesh he is touching on her face. She swings her head back, and then forward in a headbutt motion. The solid canvas of her skull meets his nose, and he staggers back- however, he does not seem to be phased by it. She feels a sting on her neck- accompanied by a pleasurable feeling- and a blunt sensation as she blacks out...Faintly; she hears gunshots, glass shattering, before she wakes up in her Father’s Mercedes. Merely, that is all she can recall...
She shakes her head, pushing her hands into her pockets as she begins down a stray sidewalk of East City.

Another starry night in East City, the night sky polluted by the clean street lamps that shone their lights so efficiently down, lighting the sidewalks and revealing her sort. A four footed black figure made its way down the asphalt like a vulpine shadow, seeming repelled by the purity of the light. It made her miss the filthy, dark aisles of the Lower Commons where all the buildings seemed to sag on one another for support. Here, the businesses were so... legitimate. Of course, one day her gang would have its claws in these clean businesses as well; it was only a matter of time, but for now this well-policed area was out of her reach and a few customers waited with fresh stolen goods to barter for her products.
But then... what would she do? She could picture the scene that would await her already: there would be Tyrone with his wilted head of lettuce and perhaps a satellite dish, there would be the merchants who she'd subjugated into giving her gifts of money in exchange for "protection from demons", there would be Twakeisha and she would be snapping her fingers and weaving her head in that strange, hard to duplicate manner and in the demoness's face about how times were hard or whatever and this time the vixen would simply blast her to hell and be done with it.
And why didn't she just blast them all to hell? They'd become a bother. This whole "making money to buy booze" thing had become a boring treadmill. It was time for expansion, for change! She trotted down the streets and noticed a schoolgirl. As though it were the most natural thing in the world for a wild animal to do, she began following her. She wasn't well acquainted with East City, but in the Lower Commons if a girl was walking alone at night she was either a runaway or asking for trouble.

A yawn or perhaps it is a sigh passes through her lips as another cool breeze sweeps over the terrain. Her hand raises and nets her hair away from her eyes as it flickers instability within the windy atmosphere. She does not appear to confer a purse; however there is some variant of a bag upon her hip. Her mind cannot trace back to recall what she is doing out here at this time of night. She was allowed out for a few more hours; not that it mattered due to the soft spoken vocals of her Father not capable of doing any harm to her. The streets seem very empty, nothing besides obstacles and the street lingering within her attention’s orbit. She feels a vibrating sensation in her left pocket, and this causes her brow to furrow in displeasure. She withdraws from the depths of her pockets a cellphone, which wasn’t exactly hers. It was her Uncle’s; Kyo was entrusted with it for times when she was out without any sort of supervision. If she needed someone to pick her up, she could just use a payphone, thus she fails to realize how utile the mobile device could actually be.
“What do you want, geez...” She flicks open the phone, seeing that it was a text message from a number alien to her knowledge. She disregards it and snakes the phone back into her pocket. The young lady is plagued with a strange sensation of anxiety that seems to swell within her stomach. She disregards the feeling as well. Moonlight shimmers upon her, distinct crimson eyes gazing behind her with the subtle turn of her head. The ivory light of the moon reveals pallid skin, almost a ‘noble’ apparel...

The vixen, though usually not one to mess with girls unless prepared to deal some great violence, wanted only some mischief before she left this end of town. A girl walking alone would be easy enough to terrify, and she didn't seem to be a spirit like herself, so she qualified as a target. When she saw the girl hold up the phone to her ear, the fox wordlessly cast a spell into the air that created a magnetic field about her small body. That task being accomplished, she would tug on the phone gently when the girl had released it, hopefully pulling it out of the girl's pocket and into vixen's own waiting jaws.
Provided that maneuver was successful, she wouldn't delay. She would take off down the streets with the device in mouth, not slow enough to get caught, but not fast enough to get lost. If she suspected the girl seemed to be falling behind, she would stop and hop about, low on her forelegs and her hind end up in the air in a canine gesture of playfulness, though that couldn't best describe her slightly malicious mood.

Before she knows it, her crimson irises perceive her phone seemingly drifting away towards what looked to be a darkly hued animal. A momentary paralyzing sensation seems to rinse through her at first as she is confused and bewildered at the phenomena occurring at that moment. The device is locked within the jaws of the creature, from which a sensation like hot water being to move through her body as she begins to succumb to her youthful ire.
“What the bloody...” She cries out, extending her hands forth as she watches the feline- fox, or perchance canine creature take off with the phone. She couldn’t decipher what it was at this distance; she only knew roughly what it looked like. “Impossible...” She is mainly angered because the phone did not belong to her. It was her Uncle’s and she’d actually lost the last thing entrusted to her from him, thus she did not want to lose another thing- whether it is by natural means or not.
Her teeth clench together as her hands ball into fists to her sides as she turns towards the source of a new voice. Her expression diminishes slightly though her vision is blurred slightly due to her quiet frustration.
“You instruct me? Are you perchance implying that you are superior than me despite being oblivious to the fact you’re in East City?” She steers her attention back towards the creature. “You’re in debt now that I’ve answered your question, so- I demand of you to help me get my phone back.”
