History: Akil was raised by his father with no mother figure for as long as he could remember. His father was a man of great ambition as as such he had the aspirations of becoming the next Caliph by force. While building up with a handful of men and a small amount of power, his father's plot to overtake the current Caliph was eventually discovered by various spy factions in Hejar before the plan could come to fruition. As such, his father and the men under him were killed. Akil managed to live through this, but became homeless due to circumstance. In order to support himself, he developed meager skills with a short blade to perform small jobs for various mercenary factions. He settled into a residence in the slums of Hejar, progressing day to day with no real ambition until the day he was visited by the spirit of his father who merged with him. This unlocked the power of his artifact and granted him a vision of his future purpose.
