Drag me to hell.. Pbhead

Several thoughts plagued my mind. The first was where the fire lion had run off to these past few months. The second was the objective at hand. The first part, gathering the manpower that would be able to take on the underworld, had gone smoother than I originally anticipated. My secretary would send a message to the Division upon my arrival to the Academy, while I went for a nice hot shower. The day and a half enjoying myself in the past realm had proved to be rather enjoyable after all. While in the shower, I took the time to remember where exactly this little "hell hole" actually was. Shaking my head, my body floated into my office, while wrapped in a towel. For once, I would not be putting a full suit on. Instead, a black suit, with black shirt and silver tie would be worn. The last thing I needed to do was walk into the underworld in a white suit. That would probably make me look even more like a higher order spirit. With a sigh, I packed three bottles of water into a messenger bag and took off through the air, heading straight west. Hopefully the other would return, and maybe I would run into the Fire Lion on the way..

Return to Domenance (Domen)

Two days had passed since I advised Sanzon that I would meet with him at the portal. Much like any perfect being, I would not forget the things which I allowed. In my order of things, among the first things to accomplish required making sure things were in order with my Kingdom. Paco would not be coming with me in this venture; he would remain here with Hakim to oversee the continued construction of my capital. Rei would be left in charge of Harlem for the time being and Qyn would be his backup there. I did not think I would need anyone to accompany me, Sanzon was already one too many; I simply needed to know where my adversary were and I could take care of things from there. Paco made sure to encase several vials of his elixir for my journey in his worry, which I decided I could accept to bring along with me. Wrapped in my red robes, my body lifts into the skies above Domenance as I begin flying in the general direction of the portal between realms.

Drag me to hell.. Shoubox_01
A loud thud resounded through a region of the forest, as the body of a large ogre slammed against the ground suffering from multiple injuries. Burns coated its entire body, and an arm was completely severed and lying several feet away from the monster. It hung onto life by a thread for the moment, its eyes reflecting the flame of its killer. Fire lined the predator's body, burning off of him and into the air around, his eyes closed as if those flames brought him his peace. "Hmph.. so far, everything's been pretty disappointing.. We can never expect much from the commoners of the Deep, eh, Atilla?" It was a name that came out of instinct, one that surprised even him when coming from his mouth. The lion demon shook his head before running a hand through his hair, smirking. Things have changed, everywhere and especially with himself. There was no more Atilla.. only the fires of chaos that burned in his soul. "Infernal flames..!" The oni shouted, concluding the ogre's life before him.

Shou continued through the forest a moment later, gradually making his way in the direction of the city. His eyes remained closed as fires would wisp around his form, practically announcing his figure to any and all challengers. Hopefully the city was as lively as he remembered it, certain he could have his fill of fun once he got there.

The academy was already pretty close to the outskirts of the large city. With the wind blowing my hair back, I made my ascension into the sky so that I could take a gander at the large expanse of forest in front of me. It had been a rather long time since I had ventured into their deeper thresholds, but tonight would be the night when angels went to hell. Smiling, a dip would occur, giving me the formation that I needed to dive through the air towards the wood. Off in the distance, a strange sight partook my eyes. Fire? That large? Nah.. Could I be that lucky to stumble upon an old counterpart this early in my journey? My body would twist across the treeline before rising up and stopping about twenty give yards in front of the other one. Crackling with a blue light, my form would glow in a gently shade of yellow before my arms crossed in front of me.

"Fire Lion.. its been a while.."

Return to Domenance (Domen)
Location: Past Realm, Domenance

After a few moments of flying at a swift pace, my body comes to the area that housed portal between realms. In the sky, my arms fold as my body comes in an eject position from the previously prone flying posture I had taken. My gaze looks at the calm waters of the cove, a circular water structure separated by the sea. It was an odd place for them to put a portal… whoever they happened to be. I wondered for a moment if it were the one I fought that had fixated this portal between realms here. Of course, there was no indication that the portal hadn’t been here all along since before I had been brought to this realm as this wasn’t a cove I particularly frequented.

A stern look is on my face as I prepare to land; I really didn’t have a taste for what was beyond this portal. The future realm seemed too cluttered and busy for my tastes. My mind focuses on the goal at hand and with a stern nod, my body lowers from its altitude in the sky, to the waters of the cove below. As I would go down in the waters beneath me, I would rise up from the waters in the new realm. It was still day time outside and the city could be seen in the distance as I continued to rise in height. I notice the change in temperature and the quality of the air around me. Without a word, my gaze looks about me to discover that my ‘ride’ had not arrived at the designated day. It could raise to question whether I expected Sanzon to simply stand at the cove all day and await my presence; but to that the answer would be a solid yes.

Shou's red eyes cracked open at the sound of a voice, and a title he hadn't heard for a long time. "Heh, the Lightning Tiger.. you came to me pretty fast since my arrival back on Earth." The notion made the lion demon slightly suspicious as to why he was seeing a kamikonjou. While Sanzon was an old friend, one that he respected and partook in dealings with, he was still of a different lot. Angels only seemed to want to change who he was. "You're not tracking me down for anything, are ya?" The oni rose Caladbolg, the sword remaining in his grasp from the previous battle, out in front of him.

"absolutely.. just not what you think."

I would lighten my stance and laugh a little before pointing my right fist into the air. My left arm would dig my fingers into my pocket while I stretched. It had been two days, and I forgot that I had to meet another at the portal.. unfortunately, i never said which portal, so I made the assumption that he knew where the portal to the underworld was. My mistake maybe. The other demon may be waiting for me there, or just arriving, which one I had no idea. Shaking my head lightly with a smile, a large bolt would erupt from my fingers before shooting straight into the air, a light signal to get the other one.. I hope the other spirit was at the portal waiting.. the last thing I wanted to listen to was him complaining about me being a bad host after he went through all of the trouble of fitting me into his busy schedule of sex and conquest..

"Ive been searching for you.. got a problem in the underworld to take care of, want to join me on a demon hunt?"

Since Sanzon was not here, I decide to show mercy and wait for him for a few moments. My body remains in its elevated position in the air with my arms folded. My gaze is stoically to the west as I view the silhouette of the city with the sun on its course to the western horizon. There seemed to still be plenty of time in the day and it came across my mind that human, or at least demons pretending to be humans, tended to busy themselves with menial tasks during the day. As annoying as it was, I came to the conclusion that I would have to go and seek out Sanzon. This much would be interesting since I had no way of sensing him, nor did I know of a location where he could be found. The only thing I knew for certain was that I advised I would meet him at the portal in two days. With the trail of logic continuing, I come to the conclusion that Sanzon was not really an important matter in my reason for coming here. I would have more luck finding my enemy than I would Sanzon, thus I forget about him with my new objective being to travel to the Onitoshi gates where I would enter it, locate the one who’s name I did not know, and drag his dead course out of hell in order to place it within my throne room and on the wall as décor. With the new objective set in stone, my body shifts forwards and bursts with demonic speed towards the city, which I would performing a fly by past.

Shou didn't know what to make of Sanzon's action to shoot off a bolt of lightning into the sky, but decided the Lightning Tiger wasn't posing any threat to him. A smirk crossed the fire oni's lips at the proposition the angel was making. "Demon hunt, eh?" How funny that he was being invited back into hell so shortly after returning. Not to mention he'd be going down to fight against his own kind. Shou was positive that whatever targets the Lightning Tiger had in mind, it shouldn't have concerned him or the Clan of Fyre. "Yeah! Why not!" The oni exclaimed, snickering as he slid Caladbolg back into a socket of his belt. "Sounds like it could be a lot of fun."

"not just any demons.. what might be the six sacred pillars.. they have been terrorizing this world, and I, along with a counterpart, nearly killed one of them. We are heading down to hunt him down. "

Come to think of it, i had no idea who "him" actually was. His name had never been spoken, the only thing I knew was that he was insanely powerful, and an ice spirit. That would be right up Lion's alley if luck had its way with us. With my arm still up, I wondered why I had not seen another dark storm of lightning. I felt like he would have done at least that had i called something out to him. Maybe he couldn't see it from where he was. Great.. that means that he wasn't at the portal to the underworld. I bet he was going to have quite a few nasty words to say to me when he got here. There had been so much to catch up on with the Fire Lion that I had nearly forgotten about the other demon. What a farce this was, an angel traveling into the underworld with two demons. No wonder I got shit for going back to the heavens. With a light shake of my head, I clenched my fingers into a fist... "spark." A large bolt, probably at close to my max strength, would erupt through my arm and into the sky, lightning up the sunset before splitting through a cloud. I smiled at the sight of it before lowering my arm and relaxing.

"so, how've you been?"

Return to Domenance (Domen)

My flight continues as normal with the wind causing my robes to flow and whip in my passing. My gaze notes something a head and to the side of my current trajectory as I see basically the calling card of the demon whom I had subtracted from my current equation. He did have a way of attracting attention to himself that he enjoyed using from time to time. I wondered if he randomly sent up lightning bolts from time to time in an effort to allow me to know where he was at any given time. Either way, I took it as him saying that he remembered and knew that it would be prudent if I were to return the signal to allow him to know that I had seen it. I could only assume something had come up of importance to keep him from greeting me into this realm. In the spirit of communication, I murmur the incantation for the Sora Kuro to manifest causing the skies over Sanzon to grow dark with black clouds. I return his message magnified as several bolts of dark energy rip from the clouds above down and over an area covering where Sanzon’s signal had come from. After several of these dark bolts pummeled the general area, one large bolt, dwarfing all others would slam down from the skies causing a large and devastating explosion on impact (Dark Skies). Now that I marked where he was, all I had to do was make my way to the crater; I had managed to make things very convenient for myself. Of course, if he hadn’t caused the bolt, if he were outside, he could see my signature and in my mind, the same end result would be obtained.

"Is that right..?" The oni's voice trailed lightly as he took in those words, ones that promised the kinds of fights he had been searching for. This chance meeting was turning out to be more fortunate than he would have thought, though Sanzon shooting off yet another bolt. From the way it sparked off into the air, causing the scene it did, it would have seemed that the kami had grown in strength.

"You've gotten more in tune with your abilities. That's great. I'm the same.. never before have I felt myself more true to the flame. This hunt is the perfect opportunity to go loose with everything."

Shou tilted his head back, noting the sky changing from what Lightning Tiger had done to it. Darker clouds began to taint the air, before his red eyes noted the dark bolts raining down. He snapped his head back towards the kami, snarling, figuring him the cause of the magic that seemed his nature. A bolt ripped into the ground to his side, setting him into motion as he took off through the forest in a disc of flame. He didn't get far whizzing between trees before a bolt shot and seared into his shoulder, sending him spiraling down into the ground.

"Damnit.. that fuckin' sneak.." The lion demon muttered, fire beginning to whirl around him just as a large wave of energy crashed down into the entire area, taking him with it.

"fuck.. me.."

I had probably said that in my head at the same time before realizing what was going on. I hadn't caused the large bolts to come down, and in response, had to instead do something completely reckless and retarded. Swirling from the ground up, I would circle myself with a bit of electricity before my image flickered down and to the side, avoiding the epicenter of the largest bolt to come. I had seen that attack far too many times for it to work that easily on me. My arms came up to shield my face from the wreckage of the forest to come, while my body tensed. Sliding to a stop, I would look across the area before yelling to the other spirit. I knew I should have sent a limo to the coast to pick him up. At least that way would have been more organized than what we are currently doing. Shaking my head, my arms lowered before my body rose back into the air to survey the damage. What a pain in the ass..

"You alive?! That would be my counterpart.. guess he isnt in a good mood today..."

Before, during and after the counter signal of goodwill, the city passes and passed along below me as I continue to speed my way towards the smoking marker I had created for myself. It was a notable query as to if something like that attack normally made demons and other spirits flock towards it to see what happened, of if it did the opposite and caused them to flee. It would be to my luck if it could attract a strong demon much like the one previously and continuously mentioned who could lead us to said demon. The city was but a blur beneath my body as it rocketed over the continent towards my marker. Before long, after the various sections of the very large city are covered the edges of the western portion would be traversed. I hoped to reach the crater before the smoke fully cleared as it would add to a theatrical entrance. Unfortunately annoying things such as time and distance seemed to be working against me. It was no large matter, since after I ascended to the realm of the gods it would no longer be an issue. Just a bit further, I was almost there.

Pushing off the smoking ground, Shou slowly stood up, clearly injured and hurting. His glaring eyes, now burnt-orange, went to the Lightning Tiger as he called out to see if he was alive. Whatever he said after that, if he had at all, was lost in the rage that was beginning to flare in the demon's mood, a transformation having taken place in the wake of dark energy. His hair spiked outwards around him, forming a crimson mane that fell halfway down his back. Fire burned at his feet, whirled around his form, as clawed hands clenched at his sides.

"What the fuck was that, Sanzon?!"

"fire... nice."

Seeing the large series of flames, among the shaded green background, it was rather easy to pick out the other spirit. Shaking my head, I already figured he probably thought that I had pulled that massive thing down. Too bad it hadn't been me. Floating over towards him, I put both hands into their respective pockets before planting my feet on the ground to face him. Damn, he looked rather perturbed by that.. was he injured? That's odd.. I remember him being stronger than that..

"That's an answer back from the other one who is meeting us. He cant be far away as of right now.. once he gets here we will head to the portal to the underworld."

I begin my descent with my body inclined downwards towards the crater left by my attack. Braking from terminal velocity at a high above the treetops, my form comes to a halt with my body positioned upright and my arms folded as I look down and into my handy work. The crater had a nice size to it, but the shape was a bit off on the left. Such a thing becomes trivial as I soon notice Sanzon there with someone else. The other who was there seemed to have a fiery atmosphere about him; in my initial thoughts I weighed the thought to whether or not he was a friend or a foe. Though I didn’t actually have a friend’s category, things such as tour guide, assistants and gofers would fall be lumped into such a reference point. It also seemed feasible to me that Sanzon had found one of the demons affiliated with the repetitively referenced demons to whom we had no name for… I would have to speak with Sanzon about coming up with something to call him other than perhaps Ice Demon. It was a bit notable that Sanzon was alive, seemingly in the vicinity of my attack; since the other was not known about me, his condition was not relevant. Never one to linger about points I would hope Sanzon was ready; my piercing gaze would question this nonverbally on my behalf. No words would be spoken aside from “Sanzon” to acknowledge that I had found him; I assumed we would simply get on with finding what I came into this realm for.

"This is supposed to be an answer..?"

It seemed like some terrible joke to the lion demon, especially in the state that he was in. Just looking around at the crater, he could tell a high level technique had blasted down on him. It was insulting. His eyes glanced over to the figure that floated down from the sky and into the crater, the timing of his appearance not lost to Shou's reasoning. The oni chuckled lightly to himself, before a grin stretched out across his face. Caladbolg whipped out from his belt and into his hands once more, directing the weapon in the other's direction.

"So that's the way you wanna play, huh? It seems like a lot of fun!"

He stomped his foot down a little further out in front of him, fire wisping away off of his form, becoming its own aura around his body now that he was in his transformation. The movement brought him to a tight crouch, one that was ready to spring at any moment. His legs didn't move forward though, exercising a rare thing of caution in case another downpour of energy was set to shoot off. Shou made sure not to let himself get caught up in another insane crater, not with the pain still burning through his body. He held back, resting for the moment, but eyed Sanzon's 'friend' as a man that would have sent him plunging into the flames of chaos, to what could have been an incredible battle. The grin on his face only widened.

"Lion.. calm your flames, we have a bigger objective to take care of now.. if you want a shot at Domen, save it for after we are done"

I had a feeling that Domen would want to test the other spirit anyway, but that would have to wait until later. I had been thinking of which course of action would be best from here, and had ruled out several before coming to a decent one. I had proper air support from the city that I could call in if needed, which led me to the proper part of the plan. I guess I could fill in both of them on the current status and plan that I had...Standing there with my mouth shut, I ran a hand through my blonde hair before speaking..

"Domen, come down.. Fire Lion.. there are six powerful demons that have been blasting away at this realm for a while now. One of them we nearly killed. What i figured we could do is hunt them down in the other world, kill that ice demon bastard that keeps alluding death, and then lure the others out here to get blown away. We may also be able to get a better idea of the others strengths as well.."

Return to Domenance (Domen)
Location: Future Realm, Forest Heights

At first my attention is on Sanzon before it is manually drawn to the one whom Sanzon would refer to as the Fire Lion. I notice a blade of swords pointed at me with a jovial expression on the face of the one who was doing the pointing with it. I wondered what he meant by ‘play’ and if the statement were directed to me. There seemed to be a power up of sorts, before Sanzon speaks out. I continue to hold my position with my attention only slightly diverted to the Lightning Tiger. It seemed as if Sanzon were orchestrating and directing my battles for me. I didn’t know how this settled with me; by default I wouldn’t care for it since it was as if control was not given to me. The order given to come down is ignored as I contemplate the situation. If the Fire Lion were a guide of types, then it would be unwise to stamp out his life here. As a Kami, I knew that Sanzon probably had limited knowledge of the under realm, and though I had been there recently to win in that laughable fiasco referred as the Dark Tournament, it had been some time since I had actually roamed the area. Though many things stayed the same, I knew there could be change in a few hundred years or so. From the sound of Sanzon, it seemed as if he were still explaining the situation to the tour guide; I would have preferred this to have been finished before my arrival, since I liked things to be orderly. Depending on the actions of the Lion, I would probably retort something along the lines of, “there is no reason to come down; the portal to Onitoshi is not in that crater.” I didn’t feel like having a discussion; I wanted to expedite the meeting with the Ice Demon to occur as soon as possible.

"Domen, eh..?" The oni snickered, keeping his eyes trained on the other demon. It wasn't so easy to let go of the urges that ruled his flames, but the promise of a battle later on sounded satisfying enough. Besides that, Sanzon's statement of a 'bigger objective' caught his attention, reminding him of the original request. The fire around him died out as quickly as it came, as well as the battle lust Shou had dived into.

"Don't go forgetting this face, all right? You better believe that as soon as this is all over, I'll be returning the favor." Putting his blade away as the fangs of his transformation snapped back into his mouth, the oni shuddered lightly, coming down from the extreme adrenaline high that the flames of chaos fueled. It simply made him want it more. "Well, what are we waiting for then? Now that your old man friend's here, we got a hunt to start!" Fire burst beneath his feet, shaping into a disc that lifted him into the air.

Drag me to hell.. Pbhead

"great...."

my right hand came to my head, gently colliding with my hair before I let out a large sigh. They hadn't been together five minutes and it was already going to be a pissing contest. Bad enough I competed for kills with Domen, and now I would have to play the same kill game with the other one as well. When the sigh was finished, my body floated up and off the ground before pointing west. There wasn't much time until the departure date that I had originally set, and I would be rather irritable if late for a date with the underworld. I had been to the portal, but never ventured down into its depths. After all, I was of a higher order, and there was absolutely no reason for me to go socialize with demons.. well, until now.

"Shall we be off?"

My gaze returns to the fire cub as he speaks my name casually. I hoped for his sake that he was strong. I take his gesture of flaming down as the young demon coming to his senses. Whether or not he had attacked would have been no large matter as far as I was concerned, though it would have been an annoyance and a delay. I wondered if he would be able to return the favor; I figured it was something to at least look forwards to. The fire cub takes to the sky and my gaze shifts back to Sanzon. I wondered if the cub was stronger than he due to the interactions witnessed between the two. My gaze shifts to the west where the point is made and I nod with the question, to acknowledge that it held my approval. In which case, when the off was made I would allow Sanzon to chauffeur the way to the portal. My mind would begin to return to the objective at hand with the visage and embodiment of the ice demon lingering in my psyche. To me, he proved a goal to overcome, his death would be my current triumph.

"Ready!" The oni exclaimed, his glance flicking back over to the other demon. If they were both going on this hunt together, it'd be opportune to observe the man's abilities. Of course, it'd be a little hard to focus on anything other than the prey, but when a day came along as promising as this, nothing could have brought him down. He'd simply have to trust in his own strengths, convinced that no matter how strong the opponent his destruction would always win out.

"Six of them versus the three of us. Yeah.. that's gonna work out nicely!" He shouted, while shooting forward in his flight towards the lake of the forest.

"nice enthusiasm.. you are going to need that.."

With a little bit of ascension into the sky, we would be able to see the lake in the distance. The trees would get steadily taller and thicker as we approached. Natural instinct would kick in for most of the locals, and they would leave us alone, not wanting to waste their life away at three bodies spirits. The simple fact that we were able to hold a human body showed at least a decent level of strength and control, which most lowers would not challenge. With the wind through my hair, I would look back every so often to make sure the others were alongside me. I wish I had a better idea of the underworld. I didnt like going into something blind, but then again, would that ice demon and his buddies really expect an assault on their turf? Probably not, and taht advantage was more than enough reason to take the risk.

Annoyingly enough, I observe that Sanzon seemed to portray that we would be fighting together and against 6 who were like the Ice Demon. Though I did not wish for any help, I did understand that if there were two to each of us, the worry of the other two getting in my way would exponentially decrease. Still, I hadn’t heard about the others, I only knew of the Ice Demon. As one who dwelled in this land, it did make sense that Sanzon knew more about this than I, thus while traveling I asked, “six?” That word should sum up my question on the numbers and where it came from, since Sanzon and I had never spoken about anyone other than the Ice Demon. Since it seemed equally likely that the cub would have some knowledge as well, I inquire, “flaming cub, what do you know of this enemy?”

With our speed, the question should be answered around the time we get to the place where we need to descend. I had little knowledge of the activity about the portal, I assumed there would be weaker spirits lingering about it, but nothing crazy enough to approach one like myself.

"Yeah, six." Shou turned his head towards the other demon, then snickered. "Demons get old hearing too, eh? I just know what Sanzon's told me, and half a dozen high order demons sounds like a good deal to me. I'm just coming along for the fight." Looking ahead once more, the fyre demon tried to rationalize how this battle was supposed to play out. Judging from the elder demon's technique earlier, it was possible to get caught up in crossfire, especially considering his own flames.

Sanzon was capable, and Domen seemed strong enough on his own as well. The fyre oni would have to make sure to keep himself back from a battle frenzy, and be ready for any sort of outside influence. Especially another blow like before.

"yea.. six.."

My tone would be light and carefree, not really worrying about that number. Reaching the point of descending down towards the lake, my body would rotate, going feet first down before sitting lightly on the lake shore. The sun would finally be setting in front of us, and strange noises could be heard from the woods, though no critter or the like would dare approach us. Turning to face the others, I figured it would be best to fill them in on what was going on...

"So.. I met with the human governments military division that handles our kind. Remember when we came back, how there were lower level spirits openly attacking everyone? These "six Pillars" did a news broadcast, and said that every spirit was being watched by Dem. Remember that name?...cause I do. They said for every spirit to stop hiding and kill all of the humans. Domen, you technically helped save the humans by doing that, though I believe it was more of him wanting to come finish us off since he couldnt last time, and failed again this time. We have shown them that we are not afraid, and are strong enough to stand against them. The humans can not enter the underworld, so this way we can fight them in our own ways, and neither of us will have to hold back."

I would have to withhold that I was working with the human government a little bit. I didnt want either of them to flip out, and after all, it was all political. They had no reason to know that information right now. I would keep that number on speed dial, and my cell tucked lightly inside my inner coat pocket.

I wondered what the significance of the six was. Seemingly, such a thing did not matter to either of my traveling companions at the moment. My gaze shifts to him with disapproval in his tone and message as I find out that he’s here to help rather than guide; that reduced his usefulness to me. My gaze shifts back to the front as I conclude dealing with him could come later; much like Sanzon, he seemed to be void of the respect he should have, but in my infinite mercy, I allow the fact that he did not know he was in the presence of a god. With the current objective I had neither the time nor the desire to correct someone whom did not serve a purpose to me or seem somehow significant. In my mind, I assumed the chances of me seeing this creature again after this was slim and that was only if he were able to survive the path that lies ahead.

The time for descent comes and my body straightens up as it lowers towards the ground until my feet make contact with it. Details about the portal to Onitoshi start to awaken within the recesses of my mind. It was odd that both portals would be hidden within water, but if my memory served me correctly, the entrance to Onitoshi was far beyond the water’s surface in contrast to the portal to the past realm.

As he had something of importance to say, my attention shifts to Sanzon as he speaks. I don’t fully understand some of what he says, mostly what a news broadcast was, but I assumed it had something to do with that picture box that Natsuki used to always watch. I found the human interaction and protection odd and I didn’t feel like I had the need to hold back in the human realm; I figured that was something personal with him. The name Dem was famous among demons as he was the gate keeper and fabled to be immensely strong, much like all gatekeepers over time. I could acknowledge the power of someone on that level without affecting my pride. I wrap up my take on things as I merely nod to acknowledge his words and speak, “I only care about that one Ice Demon. You both can do as you like with the others until I am finished.”
