Slumin

Kuna was in the lower commons observing some of the ghettos that had sprung up. He was aware of the danger that was posed by being here, but the blond was certainly more apathetic about it. Getting dumped into the past like that kind of inured you against more common forms of danger. He was observing several gangbangers who amongst them was a small little oni that was feeding off their anger and aggression. *Seems like this type of demon feeds off the emotions of the subject.* He thought to himself as he observed it for a little while longer before pulling out a small notepad and taking a few notes on the small oni. He needed to collect more and more information, so he could start forming tactics and strategies against these beasts.

A ski mask was pulled over his face as he raced away from the small store that was now about three blocks away as he rounded into the poorly lit ally. Just for kicks Tobias machouse robbed a small corner market that was the front for a drug operation. The reason for such actions eluded even him as he was doing most things of this nature solely for kicks and to fulfill a possible death wish. As he reached the end of the ally he would come to a stop and hunch over placing his hands on his knees while breathing heavily catching his breath. “shouldn’t have smoked before I left the house.”. as he stood straight up he would take notice to the poor conditions of this section of the lower commons. Since he started living in this district he learned to use the visual conditions of the area to determine weather or not he was in an unsafe area. But the bag full of money clutched in his arms would place him in the ‘target’ sector of most peoples minds anyways. He wasted no time in fixing the bag and stuff the large bills that were poking out of the top deep in side underneath the chest and jeans in his duffel bag. Having had completed hiding the money in his bag correctly he would pick it up, lift his hood and proceed trying to keep a low profile. He walked for a good half a block getting odd looks which forced him toe realize he hadn’t lifted his mask up despite lifting his hood.

Kuna was much to busy observing the demon to notice the odd addition right away, but it seemed like the demon had not gone unnoticed and had found itself a potential opportunity too reap a harvest of anger, hatred, and souls. The demon would pull auras from the gangbanger's before having dispatched two of them to cross the street and come to stop in front of Tobias. "Hey dude, why don't you show us what's in the bag." The more muscular one said towering over the less physically imposing Tobias. "Now, you have two options, you show us what's in the bag, or we beat the crap out of you and see what's in it regardless."

“Shit” is all he would think to himself before he decided on what his next action was going to be. The large one before him looked like his mother was raped by might joe young, as his face was reminiscent of an Asian gorilla. He would look him up and down quickly realizing he was no match for him in a head to head battle. The other one on the other hand… “might have to fight the…“ before he could process his thoughts he would realize the other, while shorter was still most likely a poor head to head choice for him. Tobias would sigh before placing the bag on the ground and stepping back in one step, his words would follow as he scratched his head “you guys really picked the wrong the one *laughs* I’d apologize but…” he ended his sentence abruptly and removed a retractable night stick from his sleeve and sent and aimed shot for the bahemut’s balls. He would use as much force as he could muster against his first target. A quick simultaneous movement with his free hand would allow him to remove his gun from his waste band and shoot the other man in the foot.

The larger one took the hit from the baton and quickly fell to his knees, but the smaller one wasn't and quickly lunged catching Tobias's arm pulling him Tobias off balance while invading his personal space. It was this way he wouldn't be able to use his pistol very effectively while buying time for his other companion to recover from the shot too the balls. The mess of gangster and robber would fall too the asphalt where he would start wrestling for the gun with Tobias, while the rest of the gangbangers are heading towards them immediately.

“swift little fuck!” is all he would have time to say as he fell to the asphalt after being pulled off balance. He gun hand was being assaulted in fondled in attempts to grab the gun. He would concentrate and focus on the feeling of his weapon which was clutched in his kung fuesq grip. He thought to himself “as long as my finger is on the trigger I know which way the business end in pointing.” this was all he needed to remember as he freed his head from the wrestling to notice in the corner of his eyes the advancing musketeers. He would squeeze his finger causing the weapon to discharge in the empty direction down the road. Upon realizing no one was shot he would pull the trigger in rapid succession 7 more times to rip the gun of bullets. Having little to no real wrestling experience he let go of the weapon and yet again placed his manhood into question with grabbed of the smaller fellows testicular power while screaming widely “POWWA MOVE… CRUSH!”. having grabbed the balls he would squeeze and twist allowing his sinister intnet to show in his eyes. Tobias would lift and pull as he stood up and attempt to drag the man by his focus orbs.

Kuna immediately ducked upon hearing the first gunshot, and the seven more that followed. He would peak his head out to see the other man who was wrestling with the other guy had grabbed his nuts and squeezed causing him to drop almost immediately from the pain. The blond would grimace in pain, but it seemed kind of futile at this point in time since the rest of the gang was quickly closing onto the scene, which meant he only had a few moments to run or get swamped by a tide of thugs.

“guwahahahaha” his sick laughter filled the air as he lifted the blond off the ground and dropped him quickly as he reached for his bag and raced in the opposite direction. With the bag clutched close to his chest he would slide across the concert as he turned the corner and headed down the hill. Proceeding onward he would slip the main strap of the duffel bag over his shoulder and begin pumping his arms to increase the speed of his get away. As he ran a dog would begin chasing him forcing into the middle of the street to avoid it and any other abstractions on the sidewalk.. The dogs loud barking would give his position away immediately as he headed down the hill aiming to make a right.

The demon that had been antagonizing the gangsters to feed off their emotions was laughing its little red ass off as it fed on the copious of anger. The rest of the gangsters instead of helping their comrades would immediately speed off in pursuit of the guy. There was a little delay in turning the corner, but it wasn't enough to throw them off the trail especially with the dog barking at him. "There's that fool!" One of them would point towards Tobias and quickly gunned it for him hoping to clear the distance between them.

Running almost as fast as he could Tobias would turn his head, glancing behind him to see one of the thug knights beginning to close the distance. “AUGH” would precede Toby digging down deep and increasing his speed to it’s max with wild arm pumps and a noticeable high step as he rushed for the car at the end of the road with open window. His crazed animalistic survival response closed the distance between him and the car quickly allowing him to jump the last five feet and dive feet first into the car landing on the driver side. He would quickly rip out the wiring from underneath the steering wheel and precede with attempting to turn on the vehicle. The first tap of the wires would cause the window start rising slowly.

Kuna would keep his eye upon the demon as it decided to follow its prey as they chased Tobias up the street. It was apparent now that he was trying to get away in the gangsters with a stolen car. They were quickly closing the distance between the two of them while he tried hot-wiring it. The first gangster would reach the car and slam his fist against the hood of the car getting Tobias's attention while the others quickly surrounded the car. They would start rocking the car back and forth before one of them picked up a corrugated steel trashcan and approached the drivers side window intent on sending it through the glass to get at Tobias.

The banging on the car hood would cause toby to look up and flash his broken grin at his thug life attacker. “power word fuck you” was whispered as he quickly turned his attention back to the wires. He grabbed a green wire and a blue wire and touched them together causing an instant reaction from the engine. The magical sounds of the engine turning over would be short lived as he looked up with a face filled with over joyed panicked laughter and screamed “OH SHIT” upon the realization the drivers side window was on the verge of being smashed. Tobias slammed his foot firmly into the gas causing it to take off. His timing was not perfect as his window shatter anyways as the corner of the trash can connected with the glass as he sped off.

The car was speeding off leaving the gangsters in the dust. That was until one of them realized he had a small caliber pistol tucked into his boxers. He would quickly pull the small gun out turned it sideways all gangster style and proceeded to empty the entire clip at the departing vehicle. Most of the shots went wide, but at least three managed to score on the departing vehicle. One shot out the taillight, the second shot a clean hole through the rear and front windows, and the third one came closest of all too hitting Tobias as it shot through and cracked the side-view mirror.

The little oni was disappointed that there had not been more of a beating, but the little incident had sated its appetite for destruction for the moment. Kuna finished writing down on his little notepad and decided too get the hell out of there before the gangsters found him.

The shots popped off at his car (stolen or not) would cause him to duck in an effort to protect his brain from exiting his skull. He planted his foot into the break after the third shot and turned the wheel hard to the left causing the car to spin 180 degrese. Upon completing the turn he would scream at the top of his lungs and slam his foot into the gas racing down the road. He lined the car up perfectly during his advancement back and aimed to run them over. The slowest one would be deadest of the group should they fail to save themselves from the wrath of “NEEDLESSLY VIOLENT RESPONSE CAR.”

The oni clapped its hands in malicious joy as Tobias swung around and began driving back towards the gangsters. The assembled gang would disperse straight away not wanting to get caught up in the madman's road rage. The one with the gun took out the spent clip and fumbled in his back pocket too pull out a fresh one, and he would slap it into the grip. He chambered the next round and fired two shots blindly at the car. The first one pinged off the front of the car, but the second one would be more serious as it punctured the right front tire. Tobias would have to realize that with a flat tire he would need to book it out very quickly lest the gang swarm his slowly being disabled vehicle.

The shots fired were ignored all except the one which would pop the tire. As it popped the sudden change in the smoothness of his assault was instantly noticeable. Instead of planting his foot into the break he would continue on removing his foot from the gas allowing it to drift down the road at a steadily decreasing but still high speed. “time to go” is all he would say as he grabbed his bag and bailed from the car as it headed for the side of an old failed closed down community center. As he hit a thick line of bushes the car would slam into the walls of the center and catch fire. As the fire slowly burned for a few moments toby would turn and watch as it exploded soon after. The action distraction would cause him to attempt creeping away silently in the newly created commotion.

There would be a collective "OH SHIT!!!" from the gangbangers as the car rammed into the abandoned community center. The collective would immediate dart into the back alleys especially since with the explosion would be more then enough to call the police too their location. The demon just chuckled to himself in amusement as it focused on Tobias. Its little monstrous form would immediately decide to follow the little crazy man that had driven back to try and run over the gangsters. The creature could see just from that there was a wealth of emotions it could feed off the young man.
