PostSubject: A Break in Frustration[Open]   Tue Dec 21, 2010 8:20 am

Once again here he found himself in the human world. Jumping between two lives. And the pressure was begining to build up onto him. It was increasing, building to the point where he couldn't take it anymore. Things were changing in his mind set. It was hard being both Wiseman and Pennywise. And for that girl. Penny. Regardless of what he said to himself to justify his actions. Gera Say was built and it was built upon immoral actions. And regardless of thought. He was an Oni. A monster a demon. And the more time he spent in hell the more and more this had become abundantly clear. Just what was he doing here? Just what was he doing trying to help a human? Just what was he trying to be? Here he was, practicing his boxing on a punching bag he had set up in the east side of the pent house that was owned by Kyro Corp.

Of course. He owed her a lot. And he had done many selfless acts in an attempt to protect her. To understand her. But regardless of what he did he found that each step he took closer into the world of Wiseman equally took him a step forward in the shoes of the arch demon. He was living two lives, not two half lives, two full lives and the struggle of trying to keep one out of the other was begining to tear him apart. Already he felt that his own power was begining to effect his judgements. The stress of taking these two lives had forced him to take a break here in the human world. But of course. It wasn't really a break was it? He gritted his teeth and dropped his fists. He had to hold back the majority of his strength to ensure that it wouldn't break the sandbag. His fists bandaged. He looked forward. Wiping the sweat from his brow.

He grabbed the bottle of water on the side of the table and squeezed it into his mouth, the cooling water moving down his throat as he made his way to the main room, he walked over to the door. Placing both locks on it. He was growing tired of everything. Mittens, hidden behind the sofa, peaking out at him. He looked down at her and grumbled. She looked at him with the same yellow eyes.As his own. He knew her thoughts, she knew his. He grunted and lifted the bottle of water and threw it down near her. Causing her to jump back. " The fuck do I want your opinion for?....Your just a fucking cat". A sad look reflecting in those eyes. It was a visble thing. At least to those who would notice. The more time that he spent in hell. The more time that hell spent in him.

Penny and Mittens were, for once. Divided. There was now something different about him as opposed to the cat. Wheras before, one who cared to look would only feel a soul practically identical to his own. But then. Mittens hadn't been with him when he built Gera Sey. She'd been here. Living the life of a normal cat. And a wonder if she regretted doing so.

Penny dropped down onto the sofa for a second, only to pick up the phone next to it. He dialled in, answer machine. Didn't much matter. " Wiseman here. I'm going to be absent for a couple of days. Just giving you and the boss a heads up". The message was in itself. Akwardly lifeless for him. With that he pushed himself back up and moved back into the room with the sand bag. Looking at the thing. He'd taught himself a lot in hand to hand combat and for the most part it was so that he could hide himself among humans. But then there popped up the question that had been ticking away all this time in Gera Say.

Why bother.

As the ruler of his own city he was more influential in most circles than Shiori. What did she have to offer him now that was of interest? A meow from Mittens at the door who echoed his thoughts. What use did he have for that? It would only weaken him.And as he continued to punch away at the bag. There was a growing laughter in his mind.

There was a conflict in him. A conflict that he was taking out on this bag and had been taking out on people in Gera Sey before he had decided to take this break. The part of him, Wiseman, and the other part of him. The one that had for all intents and purposes began to monopolise hell. The ruthless ruler who'd tamed the demonic dragon. Who'd put down the local demons by himself. Enslaved the survivors. The one who sat on the black throne in his city. That part of him had power, had respect. Had people who feared him. What did wiseman have? A friendly coworker who wouldn't hesistate to put a bullet in his skull if he was here right now. And a girl who had taken pity on him. There were times when the latter life had its own rewards, the smile of the girl for one caused the strange sensation of happiness within his chest. But did it really outspan the negatives? All that he had endured in these past few months. He had to really look at that balance. What was his humanity worth? 13 Silver coins and would it be tossed aside?

He jabbed at the sand bag again, forcing it back. Another meow from Mittens. He gritted his teeth and looked over at the cat who crept backwards. " Enjoying the life you've got here?..Glad, you don't have to deal with everything I do little bitch...ever tried wrestling a dragon?....not fun". The cat crept in and brushed against his leg, and for a moment that weight on his chest seemed to just lift. He let out a sigh and sat down, crossing his legs on the wooden floor. He pet Mittens and recieved a purr in return.

" Its just...not easy ya know?...".

Eye twitch. A tap of manicured nails on the wooden surface of the desk they rested on. And a sweating male receptionist now praying he might one day be able to still produce children once the heiress of Kyro Corp was finished with him.

"Is that another marriage proposal?" Her voice was even, drawn out. The male found it to be quite menacing and feared he might soil himself in fright. He could only slowly nod, a bead of sweat sliding down the side of his pale face. Another eye twitch and he placed the folder on her desk and ran out of the office, crying just a bit. Dispassionate eyes looked at the file left for her. Another suitor had come crawling to her grandmother asking for a chance to court her. Annoyance. Spineless weak willed men whose wallet was bigger than their cock.

A head peeked in. The only person brave enough to withstand her temper that had grown in volume of the past few days. "Yes, Karin?" Shiori sighed and looked at the young woman as she walked in and plucked up the file that contained another suitor and his credentials.

"Go home. Take a break. You have no more invoices and there aren't anymore meetings. We don't need you turning into a frigid bitch like your grandmother," she said and Shiori couldn't help the small smile that tugged onto her lips. Karin was a cousin to Kyouya and had a set of steel ones hanging between her legs unlike alot of the men in the office. It was the main reason Shiori never fired her. It was refreshing to have someone who would speak to her like a normal person, yet at the same time knew when to be professional. A set of keys was laid before Shiori and an elegant eyebrow arched. Eyes flicked from the keys to the grinning secretary. "Kyouya always has a spare pair up here just in case he loses the other ones," she explained. A smirk spread across those coral painted lips as french tipped manicured nails plucked the keys up.

Shiori rose to her feet, dressed in a gray mid thigh skirt, a red blouse and the matching suit jacket to the skirt. Her hair was pulled back in a nice bun that left strands framing her features. "Thanks, Karin. Take the company card and go have dinner with your husband somewhere nice," Shiori said as she grabbed her purse and sauntered out. Karin grinned.

"Will do, Madam," she chirped and went about organizing the last of the day's work for Shiori to see in the morning. Shiori said nothing as she walked the halls away from her office. People scurried to stay out of her way. The male running out of her office had warned the others that she was not in the mood to deal with others. Into the elevator and down to the garage. She stepped out and felt a smile beginning to touch her lips. She needed a drive. Kyouya would likely have kittens when he found out she took out her car by herself, but he would understand she needed a moment to herself to prevent her from having a breakdown and end up killing a client or worse.. An investor.

Her heels clicked, echoing around her in the parking garage only meant for the higher ups in the company. The other employees parked on different levels. She walked over to the sleek silver sports car. A Jaguar XJ220. She didn't know a whole lot about cars. But she loved this car. It was sex on wheels to her. She used the keys to open the driver side and slid into the interior, body cradled by the expensive leather of the seat. She tossed her purse on the other seat and closed the door. Key in the ignition and seatbelt tugged on. She then turned the key and closed her eyes as the engine roared to life. She pet the steering wheel.

"If only men were like cars. We women would have such an easier job at maintaining them," she said aloud then cracked up her music as she peeled out of her parking spot. The gate attendant jumped to open the gate and she took only a moment to peek before she sped out and onto the road. She knew where she wanted to go. Only one person would be able to handle her being this much of a bitch. "Pen. You better be home.."
