An isolated girl sits upon the hump of a beige pigmented yokai. It was a blatant image of a camel but this setting was different from the vicinity of a desert. Its demonic attire differentiated it quite a bit as well. The heat was vast for they bestowed proximity with the River of Fire. "Your fur is making my ass sweaty. This is becoming an issue." A grimace stains her face as disgust becomes apparent. She concludes the sentence with the vain flick of her hair. Getting off of the beast she drives a kick rearwards to jam it into the side. It falls lazily over to the side, a docile and dumbfounded expression plastered all over its face. Her hands dust off her rear as though discarding the nonexistent dust. Proceeding by stepping on the lower order spirit she would glare into the distance. "I could have sworn I booked an appointment. Where are they?" Gently and nonchalantly she would ask to herself, presumably. "Hmmm... Oh, there we go." In the distance three or so additional spirits could be perceived approaching. What business they had there initially did not seem to be apparent.

Ever abundant were the cries of calamity, dull wails of demonic flesh verses demonic flesh within the bounds of the perdition flame bordering Arden. Fortunately for those minding their own business, such misfortune possessed a more difficult time claiming them within their sullen tides - but high a chance it always was. Seemingly, those soundings had become little more than muffled dissonance. Breaching the waters of mass verbalized, though fluxed dissension came the subtle thumps of adjacent footsteps. They lingered upon the ends of her self-spoken words and soon would they cease. Casting an eye towards their source would yield the sight of what appeared to be an adolescent male. Doubtlessly, this individual he had approached would recognize him and his hair of depthless black, visage rough with spices of devilish defiance. His manner of dress still contrasted to that of Old Arden, of course. Within his possession was what appeared to be a satchel. While one hand tended to that, another tended to an assumed pair of overly large tongs. A glance from this boy had long-since settled atop her before shifting towards her downed 'transportation.'
"Hey, fancy seein' you around here," he greeted, dismissing the lower order demon as if the creature had vanished entirely.

Apparently from one of the multitude of directions she could have been approached from a newcomer had arrived. She turns abruptly to face this individual. Her initial look had been confused, but displayed no sign of being unnerved or startled. It settled into an expression of realization as she comfortably recognized the individual who had approached her. "Isn't it, though?" Tinari would respond as she shifts her position on the camel to face the male making his way onwards. It was almost as though she too had forgotten about her crude method of transportation. Her attention seeps away as she begins to fiddle with her thighhigh. "What are you doing here? Are you joining in on the fun as well?" She would pose him with a question curiously. The crowd that was approaching was probably about thirty yards away, yielding enough time for her to elaborate if need be. A casual glance is tossed rearwards. Her gesture could be used as directory to heed the approaching group of yokai. "Ah, here they come already. It should be a minute or two now before they arrive."

He had not stalled his inertia for long. Her initial response drew a humoured smile accompanied by the beginnings of a gauche chuckle – a diverted breath of a stripling. Afterwards, his pace was renewed. “Fuckin’ hot…” His words were but a muffled utterance, self-directed and serving no purpose but to emphasize the searing heat discharged from the wall of flames. He had drawn a hand to moderately shield his eyes from the radiance of the jettisoning fires while he spoke before the focal point of his gaze moved away to skitter about Arden’s roughshod floor. The adjacent demon’s words precipitated overtop his now hunched body. The ends of the tongs had pressed themselves against the sides of a stone nigh molten before it was placed inside his bag. Astonishingly, it did not catch flame.
“Collecting Boomfrilla. Dad needs some for the shop and its pretty abundant around this city’s borders,” he replied, having yet to turn an eye the girl’s way. Of course, her mention of some party already being here seized his attention with relative haste. “Huh? Who?” Turning to stare within the direction she was, he caught wind of a gathering of creatures that very well could be making their way towards their location.

"Just guests." Would be her response. Upon further inspection of the approaching horde of mischief it was notable that there was four spirits. There were two burly ogres of immense height and weight. Whilst their body frames looked as though they were chiselled to be the warriors of gods their faces completely contrasted. They seemed to be bickering to one another. "No, my spirit man better than yours!" Argued one of them. "Mine win! He got sharp teeth things!" Their primitive, crude idiosyncrasies seemed to reflect blatantly with their appearance. Eventually, as they arrived, it would be revealed that they were pulling cages, which explained why four people had been specified. There was a person in each cage. One was a hybrid between a crocodile and a snake, as implied with its broad face with a diversity of teeth. The other was a human figure, a presumed weak higher order spirit, who had a major decline in demonic traits. Both did not seem to be impressed by their situation. "We here now." Addressed one of the muscular ogres. Licking her lips, a sinister gleam would laden her violet eyes. "Good. Prepare the field of death." Tinari looks over to the adjacent humanoid, the one collecting an apparent mineral. As of yet it seemed undisclosed as to why they were doing whatever they were doing. There is a moment's worth of contemplation. "What does this 'Boomfrilla' do?" In the meanwhile, the hulks seemed to begin to put down the cages and work on opening them up. Crude methods are approached as the first to open up the cage simply bends the bars open to let out the so called specimen of death, the smaller but much fiercer yokai. Her camel transportation remains as docile as ever.

The mundanity of his task had undoubtedly dulled his sense of enthusiasm. “Oh,” he replied with a tone content enough to allow the matter’s wilful demission. Though, it would prove difficult to simply continue while pushing the quadruplet from his awareness. He could not help but question the situation; inwardly, of course. He erected himself while an exchange between two of the four grew ever-the-more auditable with their steady approach. Stupidity seemed to run rampant, especially within Old Arden. Even though, their physiques were nothing for the likes of Nieves to belittle; at least, not with how things were at that point. The question was, what possible business did these brutes have with this ostensibly adventurous demon?
“Field of Death?” He repeated just before her question. “Huh? They’re just rocks how they are, but when ground and infused with other materials, made good explosives.” His explanation happened alongside the efforts of the ogres. His conclusive words trickled into a turn to his head as he eyed those cages and the contents within. Hardly did it take a sensor to feel an ill atmosphere ripe with potential hostility, but such a common thing it was in those parts.

"Aww. So they can't explode by just throwing them around." She devilishly concludes as she rests her chin onto her palm. Her gaze is lifted and moves towards the ogres who were setting things up. "What's happening is these two are putting the ones in the cages against each other. It shall be a death match, a wonderful one at that. What could be more moral than blood being spilled for entertainment?--oh my." Sen would suddenly warrant the look of a high inquisitor as she looked intensely towards the ogres. "What is the meaning of this?" She'd question lightly as she sadly, though in a fake manner, looked towards her elongated fingernails, blowing a thin stream of air upon them. The frame of her eyes eases slender. "Deals off, boss! We decided we gonna team up and kill you and take over the rest of the city." It was notable that the four demons were standing in a battle formation, like a small militia ready to assault their mark.

Her apparent disappointment proved all too amusive, evident with the slightly impish flavour his visage had adopted. For a being such as himself, that would result in far less work and much more play. While her chin fell into the cradle of a supportive, upturned palm, his search was revived. Soon came the plucking of another stone, a brief turn to its side resulting in a short-lived duration of inspection. Little more appeared present anymore within his current location. This thought found interruption with the girl’s explanation of the situation. An abrupt expression of surprise, although relatively unmoved, drew his curiosity enough to avert his gaze and place it atop the four opposite to the makeshift pair. If not for it, doubtlessly the planned activities would have placed a temporary halt to his gathering.
Did his ears deceive him? Did this group of unruly creatures plan on assaulting a lone female demon? What immorality, cowardice, iniquity, wickedness! In other words, another typical day in the cursed lands of Onitoshi. A true creature of everlasting sin would not even think twice before choosing to enact such betrayal. So, would the exhilarating pulse of epinephrine prove a surprising development within the ostensibly solitary male? Would a desire to intrude upon this event without questioning it prove surprising as well?
“Four against one?” he questioned, words mingled with the tangs and hollow thumps of his discarded tools. Already had his face been stained with a toothy grin, the size of which transcending those before it. “That’s hardly fair…”

"Heh, heh." The demoness' voice would gradually become more and more knavish as the atmosphere continued to darken. "Hehehe..." The steady laughter accelerates, becoming hysterical, light laughter. As she eyed her opponents there appeared to be an adhesive blush on her face for unknown reasons. Her index finger is positioned below her lip to signify, perhaps, contemplation. Lowering her head, her bangs cast a paperthin shadow over her eyes. A single eye would radiate an ominous red light, like familiar traffic spawning devices in the humane world. "Well then, let's see if you even have the strength to wipe shit off of my boot." Sen laughs. She turns her attention towards the adjacent humanoid demon. "It may be fun for you to assist." Her heed returns to those before her. She mutters a demonic incantation underneath her breath. This causes the weak higher order demon to begin to get on the offensive. It commences its heavy onslaught towards her. A sudden expulsion of force is jettisoned towards it. The magixal energy would grip around the Onikonjou's throat and elevate him into the air. Her hand gesture is as though she were holding something roughly the size of a grapefruit. She squeezes the 'air' more and it began to redden and constrict his throat, ensnaring the blood in his head and enlarging veins to the point it looked like they were going to explode like broken water mains. "Hey! That's my little demon man!" Says one of the ogres as he begins to run towards the demoness.

First sight of this demoness had birthed something intangible, but intriguing. Broom in hand, his sweeping yielded until stilled completely. Her attention moved not from her destination, allowing his stare to follow within her wake. Much jest came of it. “Got a taste for those demons wearing them human disguises?” inquired some, but that was not it. Illumination as to the source of this interest began to present itself as he observed her laugh manically amidst a moonstruck high. His presence by her side had ensnared him within a situation promising combat and already did a new development burble within the depths of his perdition-soaked being. Doubtlessly, it was this urging him to participate in this bout.
“Gladly,” he replied and all but too soon, she held position of one by a force unseen. So alike abilities past, but hardly was there time to admire it. An exclamation alerted him to the rapid approach of a cousin to his own species, seemingly, an ogre. Interception was not difficult, manifesting as an airborne kick aside the lumbering creature’s face. The damage he managed to inflict was minimal and ostensibly, his assault did little but halt him. Despite this, confidence disgorged like perspiration and ever-still fixated, etched into the fleshy fabrics of his face was an impish grin like none other.
“Puny man, get out of WAY!” the brute hollered as a hand tore forth, took hold of him fleetly before pressing him firm against the ground. The resulting, localized quake traversed his interior mercilessly. Jarred, a wince allowed sight of the demon through a single eye. “Weak man. Foolish to attack me!”
“You can’t tell..?” he inquired painstakingly. The sliver of time this bout had gone on for burned something mysterious within. Suspicion long-since surfaced. Perhaps this moment presented favourable fate, acting as a catalyst to a self discarded into the evanescing days of old. His squirms grew all-the-more orgasmic as the being’s grip tightened until the volume of this intoxicating flavour could no longer be held.
“NIEVES IS USING YOU!”
An eruption of crimson radiance forged into an ever-rising column ascended skyward, casting his previous captor upwards. From its veiling curtain extended a fur-paved, titanic hand that did not hesitate to seize the ogre. Abruptly was this energy dispelled and all-too quickly did he throw the creature into the ground where the endless supply of flames rose without schedule nor favouritism. Amongst the roar of the cauterizing fires came the cries of this unfortunate creature and what did the one responsible do in response to this? Why, he rose his arms to look upon the form he had arbitrarily taken upon. There stood a large boar-esque demon, one possessing a stature he could never had dreamed of prior. Instead of uttering nonsensical words of inquiry, he simply began to chuckle, laugh, and then turn his sights upon those below him.

Sen uses the forceful grasp over the neck of the humanoid to launch him fiercely towards the luminescence of the river of fire. There isn't even a scream for the man's neck had been bound so tightly with the demonic and invisible grasp of her technique. She had barely bat an eye towards the ogre that had made its heavy onslaught towards her. It had been engaged in combat by her newfound ally. Yet, she had been unable to notice the serpent yokai with a broad diversity of teeth slithering on the ground towards her. It focuses pressure around her leg and locks her ground based movement in place by biting the other. The girl in rebuttal would only let out a hiss of pain. And certainly, it had been a while since she'd taken her foot off of the camel's furry hump. "Well den, fuck me silly." She would say as she nonchalantly gazes towards the massive pillar of demonic energy. It had not taken long before the massive being substituting the humanoids presence had promptly discarded the ogre. Which meant only two remained. The other ogre is aware of this and makes effort to begin engaging the new monstrosity in combat; regardless of the grim consequence that may warrant. The camel remains in a pelt of iron ineptitude as it lays motionless on the ground. Sen would find that most of her body had been impaired and constricted by the strange animal hybrid. It's elongated body could easily constrict areas of her body that enabled movement. Blood loss had been assured as thin streams of red ran down her leg rapidly. Then, an eccentric chuckle begins to emanate lightly from her lips. It becomes far more audible with time. "Ah..."
"Good riddance, whelp." Her eyes suddenly glow a sinister violet, matching the normal color of her eyes. "I'm afraid you will be joinin' ya friend in the finest depths of the River of Fire." Wings violently burst from her back, as well as a long tail. The explosive emergence of these limbs tear the serpent asunder. Bits of flesh and scraps of reptillian skin rain from above. In the aftermath there would be nothing but a mutilated, bloody carcass, and a girl streaming with a strange, black energy. Through unknown means she begins to levitate in the air - albeit something common for a demon. She'd resume her telekinetic influence from before and collect the amalgamation of snake parts, jettisoning them halfheartedly into the fiery depths, just as she had preached.

Such ferocity maculated its gravelly yell, perhaps fuelled by an urge to avenge its kin. Speed was lacking in this one’s movements, but casting an eye upon its figure would yield the reason behind that. It seemed this lesser demon lacked the appropriate proportions to do much but maul its victims with its meaty arms. Nieves remained supple with a hand hovering in anticipation, drifting ever-so slightly before plucking it swiftly from the ground it so desperately trod.
“Slow,” the towering boar stated within a voice deeper than that of his human guise. His fate would be the same of the one who came before him. His structure plowed into the waiting ground before being swallowed by the rising torrent of flame. Certainly, this was the price of throwing one’s weight around without a speckling of strength to back them up. Even without his past abilities, they possessed nothing that could overtake him; though, the spontaneous attainment of this newfound form did play a part.
Instinctual was the upkeep of this form, but with their threat taken care of, the realization of a subtle energy expenditure occurred. It spawned a whelming puzzlement, a mental fumble that cause the form to disperse, leaving him relatively winded adjacent to the transfigured demoness. Without an ounce of proficiency, he had doubtlessly used far more energy than was needed.
“I didn’t even know I could do that,” he stated between breaths. “But from the looks of it, you could’ve handled the likes of them just fine.”

A disturbed, odd chuckle emerges from the demon maiden's mouth. "And this, I did not know was possible, mon." She gives her location a brief scan. The camel was still lying dumbly on the ground with no particular shame. The cadavers had easily sunk into the raging depths of the river that bordered the city. She gives her lips a general lick before sliding her tongue back into her mouth, flickering it like a serpent; sort of like what she just killed. A small burst of flame emanates from her nose as she flares her nostrils. This seems to be done inadvertently from not being accustomed to whatever just happened. "Bah. This be my luck; you turn into beast and I am adorned by but tail and wings." Her arms cross below her chest. "Who you be, and since ya aided me, what can Senhime do for you?"

She was clearly unhappy with the fruits of a whimsical fate, evident with the folding of her arms across her chest. Somewhat surprising was the simultaneous development of powers previously hidden, but even more so were the similar thoughts the two shared. “Yeah, seems our transformations weren’t either of our aims,” he replied within the space separating her words of disappointment from those of query.
“Nieves,” he replied before erecting himself once more. “There ain’t nothin’ I want. Because of you, I’m that much closer to getting back my goblin-ness.” With that, he moved towards the discarded bag and tongs, plucked them from the ground, and turned towards the one dubbed Senhime. “Back to work, I guess.”

Sen would abrupt inhale through her nostrils. Doing so would inflate her stomach and torso immensely. Her cheeks puffed out and in one motion she would expel whatever had been summoned into those districts of her body. Purple flame emerges from her mouth, blown out like someone who, contrary to the temperature of the flame, had been trying to cool down something like soup. The general vicinity would get even more hot if that were even a plausibility. The direction of this flame is towards the sky, like a fire eater in a carnival. Simultaneously she would deflate as the pyrogenous substance is projected for her mouth. It would gradually dissipate from sight. Her lips curl north into a brief smirk. "Goblin-ness? You're saying that you have even more power den dat within?"

So vagarious she was. Now, she had decided to elegantly expel a stream of flame dyed an abhorring, bitter purple. Neives watched with an expression puzzled, though subtly appreciative of the display. Perhaps he desired knowledge of the reason behind the act, evident as he looked towards the destination the torrent raced towards. Nothing was there, signifying perhaps a mere testing of the abilities ostensibly manifesting within her at a pace undeniably rapid. His gaze precipitated from the skies the stream stretched wishfully towards and onto Senhime.
“Dunno,” he began, “but it’d sure be nice to reclaim that form. This unsought appearance is makin’ me appear outta place back home. Well, that and I lost the ability to use a whole slew a magic I had.”

A performance of playful puppetry followed her expression of amusement and recollection of the occupants within his humble, though curious shop. It was the second time the demon bore witness to her manipulation of material without having to contact it physically. A familiar stone drifted before him, inviting him to pluck it from the unseen forces ensnaring it. Her question overlapped the action of allowing the stone to drop into the veiling shades nigh disgorging from the satchel.
“Pretty much just like what you did,” Nieves replied. “In a word, though, psionic.” He paused momentarily. “But you…you’re no ordinary demon

Her head tilts to the side to establish curiosity. "Not ordinary?" Spreading her hand she looks towards it. She heeds the existence of claws, and scales on her skin. Whilst they weren't distinctly perceptible they were certainly there. "Why do you say dat?" The demoness seems moderately confused by the statement. "Though you may be right. The transformation that us demons are notorious for is usually much...bigger den this." Her hand clenches into a fist. The demoness had been maintaining telekinetic influence, thus she wouldn't have to repeat it. Flat force is pushed from beneath the camel to shoot it back up to a standing position. It seems even more dumbfounded than usual.

No ordinary demon, indeed. Every story has a beginning, and this encounter had doubtlessly marked the beginning on this one. Hardly did he possess the mental fortitude to craft a response so fleetly before she had essentially presented an answer to her own question. Though, it was not specifically what he was referencing. “I mean, you didn’t know you had those abilities before. You discovered them and used’em just like that. It was a silent response for certainly, he agreed. There was no purpose behind selling oneself short, after all. The soundings of shuffling drew his eyes open and clearly, the girl was preparing to take her leave. “You’re outta here, eh?” Nieves questioned while shifting his tools about to assure a firmer grip. “Guess it’s for the best. She adds as the yokai she had been utilizing as a method of transportation would begin its slothful trod. It didn't appear that she interpreted whether or not the demon had been joking or not. "I have other things to do, so for now farewells will have to be bid. Power be with ya." Would be her manner of expressing departure. How ambiguous was the consequence of his tardiness. Was it an attempt at jest? His characteristic smirk resulted within mixed interpretations. Even so, the girl would begin to take her leave. An animalistic, dimwitted cry sounded in result of her abrupt, forceful nudge it received; much like what a rundown automobile would require for its successful start years after it should have been retired to a junkyard. “Likewise, friend,” he would say as she took her leave, waving with the large pair of tongs that would soon be freed of their previous duration of neglect.
