Domenance Over Mandira
Location: Past Realm, Mandira

“The empire of Domenace shines like a jewel on the coast of Yochi’s mainland with its leader and god as the main source of brilliance,” affirms Paco, the small fairy as he verbally recounts the events leading up to this point. At the moment he was flying in the air at half speed next to his Master as they made their way onto something that had stricken the interest of the Lord of Domenance. “As it would pass, an envoy from the land of Mandira came to Domenance to grovel at its feet. The Lord of Guilds, Hakim, spoke with about his purpose for coming and thus the information was passed along to the Lord of All! Mandira is the land that was mentioned in the framing ploy of the last war and as such is an area of interest being a location never before heard of! The guile of allowing themselves to be placed in the same category as the Land of Domenance?! The audacity to come to Domenance soil and request an audience?! Who do they think they are?!” Up to this point, there had been no word from the Lord of Domenance who flew to the lead of the trio there along with the large feline guardian name Kaelas. Due to the fairy’s constant rambling, he speaks, “silence” causing the fairy to shut up, at least for now as they would continue their trip. Paco would continue to ramble the Story of Domenance in his mind.

After traveling for some time, they come upon the isle that was to hold Mandira. Paco checked the map that they were given and then looks down over the island. With a nod, he rolls the paper up and points, “that should be it. Shall I go ahead and secure an audience or will you walk among the mortals?” Without answering, the large figure in red robes slowly begins to descend towards the island. Having come from an altitude among the clouds, there would be enough distance between him and the ground for his presence to be felt on the way.

Domenance Over Mandira Empty
PostSubject: Re: Domenance Over Mandira   Domenance Over Mandira EmptyFri Dec 17, 2010 6:01 pm

OOC: Well if this isn't the most misnamed RP title EVER! Stay away from my mom's meds when you go to post from now on!

RP Title: Delusional Domen :)
Location: Taja Mandira
Setting: Late Morning

The one true supreme spirit in all of Yochi Furi, who teaches and guides his mortals to better themselves and lead lives of prosperity and expansion is currently working with his much cooler than a fairy dark sprite called Dainos the Herbalist. Dainos is telekinetically moving ambrosia samples around the room trying to get a decision made for the main selection for Kiera's birthday party which is doubling as the official unveiling of the Hospital of Taja Mandira. While he is trying to deal with that, I am trying to get finished with some reports and laws that Adrian has asked me to look over for him. There is a tap at the door and one of my guards informs me that Adrian has requested my counsel regarding a judgment that he has to make in the Courthouse. I speak telepathically to the guard, "Adrian is to become the Mortal Sovereign of Mandira, so he will have to make this decision on his own. My time as Divine Regent shall come to a close and Little Brother will rule. Relay my will."

I take a bite of the last of the samples to be surveyed and smile. "I like the third one for the ceremony and banquet. This one has a kick to it for me, so I would like a personal order of this to be delivered to my estate. I think it would be too strong everyone. Actually... this is for Kiera, make a platter with all of them. I want the last one only served to Specials though and maybe your younglings since they have a pretty high tolerance." Dainos smiles and nods his head before I stop and my eyes begin to glow as I feel the Krodha Transa take effect as I feel something. It's a familiar yet powerful presence. "It would seem that Sanzon has come to visit." Dainos asks if I'll be going out to meet him. I shake my head and tell the dark sprite that he will be brought to me. Entering the Krodha Transa in Kamihume "form" would alert him to my location. I ask Dainos to prepare some Mandiran tea, made with ambrosia and other herbal extracts, and one of his new ambrosia wines for the visit.

Meanwhile, the sentries with the clearest views would notice that the figure approaching was not Lord Loki, but since I am present, they do not necessarily feel alarmed. The Guild of Envoys are quickly informed of the new arrival and some are assembled to greet the new flying entity as he makes his descent into the beacon of beauty and growing opulence. The Crown Jewel of the island that is a true testament to the Divine Vision of the ruling Kami Sovereign.

Ooc: When you ask me to make threads, you’re asking me to be on top. Be more respectful of your roommate from now on.

“Look master, mortals are assembling below us, shall I pee upon them?” Paco asks with a grin on his face. Of course, the talk was mostly to amuse himself. My visage remained set in stone with my arms folded as my body slowly lowered from ascension to the ground of the mortal realm. In landing I would come within ten feet of the mortals that had gathered and simply look over them. Clarifying the term ‘landing’ I would actually still be hovering inches over the ground for no other purpose that reducing the necessity of movements from me. Coming down to my side with a good amount of force, enough to be felt to those connected to the same ground in their proximity, Kaelas, in all its fury goodness would land, the tiger standing at its normal height which was taller than myself. In his usual so shiny and glistening manner, Paco would lower into a hovering position at chest height at a distance about 5 feet away from both the Envoys and myself as he would announce, “The Lord of Domenance hailing from the Land of Domenance has arrived. Please make the necessary arrangements for the meeting that was requested by your envoy.” This would be said in a cocky tone, but no harsh or demanding words would come from the small fairy with a big complex.

Domenance Over Mandira Empty
PostSubject: Re: Domenance Over Mandira   Domenance Over Mandira EmptyFri Dec 17, 2010 8:39 pm

The gathered diplomats look back and forth amongst themselves and one of them looks up as if realizing where they had heard the name, "Domenance", before. "Master Samud is the Envoy that met with their Overseer." Another Envoy who was about to issue a formal welcome before being interrupted looks back at him and scowls. The young trainee rushes off to find Master Samud, who had already received news of the arrival albeit late. The "lead envoy" sends another neophyte of the Guild to inform me of this arrival.

Kaelas' landing causing a tremor in the ground and unsettles some of the civilians roaming around in the city streets. The neophyte told to inform me nods and starts breathing slowly before closing his eyes and opening his mind. While he is doing this, I finish with the last report and propose corrections before teleporting the pile to Adrian's office. My eyes glow a radiant golden color. My senses are peaked as I pick a flux of spiritual energy that exceeds what Sanzon is able to produce and rivals my own. Either Sanzon brought friends for me to meet or someone else is here. Dainos looks at me and I grin before vanishing from sight.

The Envoy, Master Samud, arrives to greet the trio of guests. "Greetings friends, Mandira is very pleased to welcome the respectable Lord of Domenance to her shores. I wish I had've known that you were coming, I would have prepared a proper welcome." Samud falls silent and drops to a knee. The other envoys feel a sense of warmth, security, and divine empowerment come over them. A bright column of light appears in the center of the group before spinning around and shoots into the sky. There, I would be seen floating in the sky on roughly equal level with Domen. My expression is light and welcoming. Nothing would be said yet. I look at the little fairy and smile. This little fellow and my dark sprite seem quite similar up close.

After landing while Paco speaks, Kaelas would sit passively to my side and proceed in grooming itself at its chest before its attention is grabbed by the noises around it and it looks around curiously at the area and noises around it. Paco would turn and inform me, “please be patient master, they are making the necessary arrangements to greet us according to their customs.” My gaze shifts to the fairy for a moment before it returns to the others beyond him. It didn’t matter what the fairy said, so long as it was in line with my will; that much could easily be deciphered. Attention from the feline as well as the fairy and myself given to the Envoy with the capital E as he arrives and speaks.

Before his arrival, Paco would look in the direction that Mukhya would arrive. Kaelas would notice late and I would realize the CGI on its creation after witnessing the mortals fall to one knee. From there, my gaze would be fixated on the new and flashy arrival. Able to read the atmosphere from the humans around, Paco would bring his attention from the people in the surrounding area before turning to look at the smiling Mukhya. Due to the thoughts of those in the area, Paco could tell that he was the man they were looking for. Turning towards me, Paco informs verbally, “Lord, this is the leader of this area.” Knowing that I might say something unorthodox, or rather, what was on my mind, out the gate, Paco requests, “may I speak on your behalf master?” My surface thoughts would be basically wondering what type of person this was before me, if he was strong, and what purpose did he have to send an envoy to Domenance. A solemn nod is given as the fairy has permission to proceed. Turning back to Muhkya, he speaks verbally, “Greetings Leader of Mandira. I am Paco Luminous Equivikus Hernaditus Spartus, General of the Fairy Legions of Domenance and a right hand to the Lord. Thank you for such a formal greeting and returning the respect of coming to see us personally. We come in peace as hailed by an Envoy from your village.”

PostSubject: Re: Domenance Over Mandira   Domenance Over Mandira EmptyMon Dec 20, 2010 12:32 am

Now that is quite a name for such a little fellow. All of the diplomats rise and Samud moves to the front of the group. I look at the fairy then at the obvious leader of the group. He looks vaguely familiar, but I'm not quite sure why. Samud speaks before I can since the herald from the other side spoke in lieu of their lord, "Greetings General Paco Spartus, I am Samud Hora, Envoy of Mandira to Domenance & the Desert Coastal Lands. I also serve as Diplomatic Counsel to the Guardian Premier of Mandira, Master Adrian Nygard. I thank you for bringing the Lord of Domenance..." He falls silent for a moment.

My mind opens as a telepathic message is sent to Domen. Instead of echoing in his mind, it should simply sound like I am talking directly to him though no one else would hear it and my mouth would not be moving. "Greetings Domen'Yun, Lord of Domenance, I am Mukhya, the Divine Regent of Mandira. I am Sovereign of this territory. I wanted to speak with you regarding the somewhat recent events that unfolded between our territories and the mortals of the mainland. I also wish to discuss the future with you. A future where both of our territories while currently distant, can help one another to prosper. Would you care to discuss things more inside? I have refreshments and such prepared. I was about to have a snack while taking care of matters of state."

Samud inquires, "How is Guild Master Hakim doing?"

Among the first things noticed was that this one before me had the power to speak to my mind. It was hinted that he might be able to read into my mind as he knows my name since I had obviously randomly been thinking it in my surface thoughts for some unknown reason. This is understood because Paco had not announced my name up to this point and I had not given it to him. I allow this to pass, as the interest of his words is greater than the interest of his abilities; it wasn’t unlike I could tune him out of my mind if I so willed it and to be alarmed by such a minor detail would seem as weakness to me. As such, he would be privy to the knowledge that I understood him a little more just by him speaking to me. He would also be able to tell hints about my personality and minor things such as the fact that I did not require food, nor did I want it at the moment. He would know that I wouldn’t actually care who he was or what he was, but that I wanted to simply get to the purpose of his request. I wasn’t concerned with helping out others, as such things as negotiations were left to my minions, but if he sought my permission to proceed in those types of endeavors, then that would be fine. The only thing actually ‘said’ back to him would be “lead me to where you would like to speak further.” Paco would have picked up on this as well, having access to his master’s mind, but would respond to Samud verbally as he then comments, “he is doing well and is very busy in the Land of Domenance.”

Domenance Over Mandira Empty
PostSubject: Re: Domenance Over Mandira   Domenance Over Mandira EmptyMon Dec 20, 2010 9:34 pm

Picking up on the thoughts coming from the other spirit, I am intrigued that this other lord seems quite anti-social. I see no reason to think anything of it past the fact that he is meeting another higher order being in a realm where we are extremely rare and on foreign soil. That would set most people on edge to say the least, but I would need to find a way to put this one at ease if we were to proceed with talks. From the thoughts that I am picking up, this man for lack of a better term is the law of the land for his territory, but is not the "administrator" as the fairy seems to do a lot of talking and even his thoughts aren't on matters of state unless he is guarding those, which would also make sense.

His apparent lack of comraderie does raise concerns for me, but I hold off on mentioning those until we are seated in private. When he asks to be taken to the location where we would be meeting, I find it far more convenient to just teleport but he seemed to be adverse to personal space violations so I simply extend my hand out towards the Command Center. "We are heading inside. Please follow the Master." is the message and request relayed to all around after I look down at Samud. He is relieved to hear that all is well with Hakim. He hoped that relations would build up well between Mandira and Domenance so that he could spend more time visiting the seaside village again. I fly towards the entrance before Samud tells the other diplomats to return to their duties. "It is His Will." They nod without question.

Heading inside, I lead the group, assuming everyone follows, to a meeting room where cushions are set up and a display of ambrosia treats and different drinks ranging from "synthetic spirit" wine to nectar to herbal tea and I telepathically send a servant to bring a pitcher of water. I take my seat and Samud speaks, "Please everyone have a seat and help yourself to any of the food or drinks." He explains what everything is so that our guests could get any refreshments they needed before discussions began. To kick things off, Samud would ask Paco how the repairs and such were going in Domenance.

OOC: He knows his name from the Dark Tournament since they've "bumped into each other" several times, including the Tourney when Adrian got the lard dumped on him, and unless I'm mistaken, your name was registered at the Tournament. I highly doubt that was classified information. If it was not, then just pretend that he referred to him as White Hair since that's what Psyre/Krodha used to call him.

As the way is led, Paco speaks into my mind and informs, “Shall we follow then, Master?” There needn’t be a reapply as my form slowly begins to float in the direction that I requested to be lead. Following my lead, Paco follows suit floating to my side. Lumbering to our rear, Kaelas would walk at a saunter, the feline taking in the surroundings and sniffing individuals as we made our way to the Command Center. Once there, the large tiger would have to wait outside for obvious reasons. Turning to it, I command, “stay here and do not cause destruction.” The feline would take a seat in front of the entrance and I would turn, giving it my back as I proceeded inside with Paco.

After making it into the meeting room, I saw that the posture of choice here was sitting on cushions. That didn’t sit well with me so I would set my own accommodations. I would murmur, “minions of the dark…” causing a dark pool to open on the ground; a mixture of earth and shadows form at the seating area as three golems animate from the pool of shadows to form their bodies into the shape of a throne. Their bodies would stay rigid as stone when the metamorphosis was completed. After they are set in place, Paco ends by tossing a pillow at the ‘seat’ and I sit and make myself comfortable. Paco sits to my side on one of the provided pillows. I decided that I would suffer through sitting with the head of these people in order to further things since it there wasn’t anything that required my immediate attention; I would simply attempt to enjoy myself as much as possible… “loosen up” and Sanzon called the human disease. When the question comes, Paco cheerfully announces, “all repairs are almost completed. Such a small force was no real issue in the first place. Am I right that your land was attacked as well? How were the damages?”

The inside of the meeting room is not overly elaborate. There are murals adorning the walls depicting beautiful landscapes, ceremonial festivities, a major battle, and the final wall is a group of winged and wingless kami sitting together in a lush garden eating fruit and drinking out of goblets. They look extremely happy in the mural. The seats are set up in a circle with an opening so that everyone can face one another. The food is in the center with a direct path from the kitchen area to the food arrangement. My cushion is considered the "head" of the circle. Domen would be positioned directly across from me and Paco directly across from Samud. There are guards around the room.

When Domen creates his "throne" from his dark shadows, the guards and even Samud see it as a sign of great disrespect. However when Samud turns to look at me, he finds only a smile looking forward. I speak to my ambassador telepathically, "Neither the position nor height of his seat matter to me, Samud. If such a display makes him feel better than I will allow it as they are here for the purpose of potential friendship and trade for his ego is the hot button to be pushed and prodded. It has been some time, but I have dealt with his type before. Proceed as you will, Ambassador." Samud nods as the pitcher of water is brought out. "In case you do not like tea, nectar, or wine, we have pure water as well." He pauses for a moment to allow our guests to retrieve any refreshments or foods that they want before he would continue the conversation. Responding to Paco's question first, Samud speaks, "There was actually no damage done to Mandira as the failed attempt never even reached our walls. The Divine Sovereign is quite brilliant in regards to military acumen and strategy. It is a blessing for us to have gained his benevolence."

The Envoy takes a sip of his nectar before he gets down to business, "Since you have come all this way, to the matter at hand. It is my Master's wish that we make advances down a path to friendship and economic benefit to one another. Mandira conducts business with Hejar on a frequent basis and has gained favor with the Caliph and his regime by leading the rescue of his daughter earlier this year. Recent events have brought your territory to our attention and seeing as there is another Higher Order Sovereign in this land, it is beneficial for all to aid one another without hindering individual ambitions or independence. Don't you think?"

Paco picks up on the waves that the throne makes within the followers of this leader. He reads into Mukhya’s dismissal of this sigh of respect and it helps him to understand what type of person Mukhya was; due to his ability to understand and push off small ceremonial believes, that would make these proceedings all the easier. The fairy understood that mentioning this to me would bear no fruit. As a principle, I tended not to crouch or stoop down in the presence of others, unless it was the priestess in the sanctity of our bedroom, thus the act was done thoughtlessly and performed as normally as choosing to use utensils to eat with. As the drinks were introduced, I did show interest to Nectar, since I had never experienced a liquid by that name before. Paco would cordially reply to the ambassador, “ah, that’s nice to hear. We’ve just recently raised an army. Unfortunately, the lord had to deal with the issue himself since he had not deemed to task the people with their own protection. Since then, he’s decided to allow it.” When the down to business comes, Paco comments, “from what we’ve heard of Hejar, our Priestess has warned us of their leader saying that he is a shrewd and dishonorable man. As a growing kingdom of self substance, we have minimal trade and interaction with the other villages for our own reasons.” It is then that Paco realizes something, piecing together pieces of information from the past and now. He asks, “so you are the village of which Sanzon spoke?” I am both interested and annoyed at the name of that one; our relationship was difficult to explain, but much like a cleaner wrasse on a shark, I allowed him to exist in my presence from time to time.

PostSubject: Re: Domenance Over Mandira   Domenance Over Mandira EmptySat Dec 25, 2010 3:23 am

When Paco mentions Domen having to deal with enemies himself, Samud smiles and nods as he thinks back to similar, though darker times for Mandira. The Envoy recalls the times when I was known as Krodha ki Yaksa or, the Demigod of Fury. When I was first "trapped" her as I was unable to access certain powers after the encounter with the demon Psyre when he managed to expel me from the mortal body that we shared. The benefit was that I was able to resume my true form, albeit still trapped within my own spirit. Such a bother that was. Who would have ever thought that visiting the ruins that would become my home, this capital, and an encounter with Ayhkum would be the missing link that I needed to secure final liberation and awakening.

While I am in my thoughts, Samud remarks to the current stance towards Hejar and their other neighbors, "That is most unfortunate as I have always found the Caliph and his ambassadors to be quite friendly and a character of integrity. Hejar, like most places, does have its less savory elements as well. Though there are times when those elements can be most useful... such was the case with rescuing the Princess of Hejar. I am hopeful that the encounter between your Priestess and those she encountered in Hejar was a very unfortunate misunderstanding and quite out of the norm." That was certainly one thing about Samud, he was quite an optimistic individual and always looking for the silver lining in all things.

My mind's wanderings sparked by reading Samud is interrupted at the sound of Sanzon's name. I look up from my ambrosia to find Samud glance at me. I carelessly continue eating which signals Samud to speak freely. "You know Lord Loki? He is an ally of Mandira, so it is possible that he spoke of us, though if it was a village that he spoke of, that was probably the Outpost where we used to reside until the Master restored much of this city and brought us here to Taja." He pauses to take another sip of his nectar. Samud continues, "Lord Loki has been an asset to our people and was granted people and territory to start his own village as reward for his friendship and aid in unifying the island. Has he provided aid to your Master as well, General Paco?"

With the talk of Sanzon brought up, Paco is about to reply with a “sort of” to Samud and I recall that it had been peaceful in Domenance for some time now since Sanzon had not shown up and attempted to have me go with him to some silly wild goose chase for the pillars. That thought process leads me to a topic of interest that I speak on immediately. Looking to the leader of this area, I request directly, “of what do you know regarding a group of demons known as The Pillars or an Ice Demon of admirable strength?” The topic of conversation had not been interesting to me up to this point; but in my thoughts, I knew that if I could gain some information on this from another demon then the trip may have been made worth it. Paco looks to me before looking to Mukhya to mentally clarify if accepted, “the master is seeking information on a group of demons who seem to be organizing chaos in both this realm and the future realm. The master would like to locate one of them who had ice abilities.” If rejected, he would speak these words aloud and apologize if any bounds were overstepped by the process in an at least cordial manner.

Outside, Kaelas lays down passively resting its large head across two folded paws and yawing in the process of taking a day time cat nap. Its ear flicks unconsciously at the distant sound of her master’s voice in the chambers within.

So he does speak after all. When Domen addresses me, I look up from my own thoughts and nod to him. Before I respond, I hear the little fairy's voice in my head. What a delight! His voice almost tickles. My mind extends to the fairy in return to respond, "Now this is interesting. It feels like ages since I have been able to hold a telepathic conversation with someone else. I will share my information with your Master." I eat another piece of ambrosia before responding to Domen out loud. "Yes, I know of the Pillars. I used to hear stories of some of their deeds from the Information Kami who would travel to Yochi to carry out the will of Koushi. Their leader is named Imorte and possess psyche powers among others. He is quite strong and fast. His senses are well honed as well. His second in command is a demon with the visage of a little girl named Krys. She carries a cat with her that has a pretty impressive second form. Krys seems to be strongest with fire powers and has a short temper. There is the samurai warlord demon who commands legions of lesser demons as soldiers. It was his forces that led the first attack when we arrived again in this realm. I cannot recall his name but it is not a traditional samurai name. He is extremely skilled at melee combat. When I first encountered him in Yochi, I mistakingly thought he was Tiamat, but he is not. Tiamat is an interesting case because I am not sure if "she" is a male or female demon. When I first encountered her, she was a male demon that I fought against before my powers returned and while the group that battled him was victorious, we were unable to capture him thanks to meddling of his annoying little female offspring. I do not know much about Tiamat. The one you are looking for specifically is known as the Leviathan. He is known within some kami circles for being an honorable onikonjou as he typically prefers to fight the stronger opponents. I have yet to encounter him myself so my knowledge of him is thru reports and hearsay that preceded his sealing. The sixth pillar is Rayje. Her I have faced in my weaker form and am definitely looking forward to facing again. She is skilled with a sword and quite strong considering the sword she wields, but she is also able to make magic fail while using magic herself in a way that I have not seen in over two centuries. I have seen another higher order with them once that seemed to be their master, but I do not know who he is. When I saw him, I could not move or use any of my powers and neither could my ally at the time. He is powerful in a way that I cannot describe, but suffice to say that his power dwarfs the combined might of all Six Pillars. It was he who brought us here, but I have not seen him before or since then. Since you are an Onikonjou, have you heard or do you know anything else about them? Of all the Pillars, why the interest with him?" I was curious to see what he knew of them. They did not bother or threaten me here, so I have little reason to remain concerned with them, but more knowledge about one's enemy is always best.

The response seems to enforce the thought that Mukhya was a good person overall and probably a sociable and able ruler over his people. He showed kindness while still demanding respect from his servants, something that Paco was able to pick up on with his response. Since it didn’t seem as if a response was needed, Paco would not relay one at this moment in time. With such a thorough answer, Mukhya instantly found himself within my good graces. After hearing what he had to say, I return, “you seem to know much. That is good. I will burn the name of the Leviathan into my mind so I will know what to call him as I continue to seek him. I am very interested that you have battled among these Pillars and I look forward to doing battle with you one day. I seek the Leviathan to finish our battle. Sanzon interfered in two encounters with the demon; the ice demon’s life was almost made void after our last encounter but he got away. I find him as a nemesis that I must defeat for self satisfaction; I see him as an objective. Since my summoning into this world I have been continually building my power and measuring it against those who are deemed strong. I will not be satisfied until all are beneath my power.” Comfortable here, my words continue, “recently Sanzon and I ventured to the nether realm in search for these pillars, but their existence eludes me. I would be very interested in knowing where they are located.”

Oh, so he really does speak. Good. I merely had to find a topic that interested him. It would seem that that task had been accomplished. As he tells me about his encounters with Sanzon and with the Pillars as well as his reasoning for wanting to face them, I smile. Centuries ago, that was my single motivation. I needed to be the strongest of Koutaku-shi’s enforcers. I needed to make sure that the Will of the Watchers was always enforced. That was my desire. When the judgment was passed on the Kunashi Cadre, I wanted to be the strongest of all Kunashi, so that when we returned, I could defend my brethren, my master, and my beloved.

Nodding to him to shake myself out of the depressing mindset that I was close to entering, I wait for him to finish before pondering that last comment. “I always enjoy a good battle. It keeps one sharp and given the growing numbers and sheer nuisance the Pillars provide, it would be smarter to strengthen ourselves as well.” I smirk more to myself than anyone else thinking about his comments towards Sanzon and continue, “Yes, Sanzon can be very helpful at times and can also be quite a bother at times, so trust that I understand. As for the location of the Pillars, that I do not know, but if you consider where most of their deeds have transpired, it would be simply to reason that they are actually on Yochi in the future. My Mentor once taught me, “The best way to remain hidden is not to try and hide. Why would one think to search Yochi for them? They would most likely keep themselves where their presence could be masked. Knowledge and information are cornerstones of power, Lord Domen. Who is easier to defeat… the enemy who you know the weakness or the enemy that you randomly encounter?” The question was somewhat rhetorical, but the thought would still be had.

The more we spoke, the more acceptable I found this spirit in his ability to speak in my presence. He was seemed more of a suitable conversationalist than Sanzon and seemed to share my respect for strength. I recline back in my golem throne and listen to the words he had to say on the topic of what I said and also about the Pillars. I wondered how this one knew so much on them while Sanzon knew relatively nothing. With the question posed, I assumed the question to be rhetorical, so I simply answer, “I see what you are saying. Though this meeting was for a different purpose, my main focus at this moment is the Pillars. If assisting one another will lead to the Pillars, I am fine with allowing my populace to trade with yours.”

Samud smiles deeply at the news and I nod to Domen. I had discovered a respect for this lord. He was focused to his purpose and originally I to my own, but I am quickly learning that I can no longer ignore. I speak in response, "I am pleased to hear that. I will inform the Cornucopia, my merchant guild, to begin establishing routes to Domenance. As for the Pillars... I can no longer ignore them as I have. You have forced me to see what I wished not to. Their numbers are formidable and as such, I must now join the fight against them. Neutrality is no longer an option. Should you decide to make another venture to locate them, you may call upon me for aid in the endeavor. In your search for the Pillars, have you learned anything of note about them?" I wondered what knowledge he might have to fill in some gaps or provide more light into their origins, nature, or activities. Perhaps there is something that I have missed that could be used to uncover vulnerabilities.

I snap my fingers and servants come to take the food away. I would need time to gather more information on the Pillars. I would need time to locate the Ancient Archive of my people. Still, how could I find time to do that when I have the Restoration to continue here in Taja. It is at this moment, that I remember him... Ayhkum. Perhaps, he possess the information that I need. "Well, this has certainly been a productive meeting. Our agents can sort out the details of trade. For now, we shall return to hunting our enemy in our own ways. I am glad to have finally spoken with you, Lord Domen." Trade had been secured and a potential ally in the coming battle against the Pillars had been discovered. With trade hopefully would come peace between our lands and with that, I would be free to tend to the needs of my people without concern or distraction.

This much seemed good. From my understanding, my words seemed to invoke my desire within him to work towards a goal that eventually bound to my will and its effect on the universe. With a powerful nod, I accept his words and counter with my answer, “Paco will be able to portray to you all that I know of the Pillars in my interactions. Likewise, he will be able to transfer your intimate knowledge of them to me if needed. We shall see what will become of these Pillars. I long for the day they make their next move and cease their hiding. I’m pleased that productivity could come in collaboration from one as yourself.” The meeting seemed to be wrapping up, which was fine with me. After the food had been carried away and Mukhya finished his final words, I would invite directly, “now, shall we go outside to consummate our agreement with a sparring battle?” I could tell he was strong from seeing him, but there were things that could only be discovered in battle. I was curious about these things and as such, this was one of those invitations that, in my mind, would be best accepted.

With a nod of my head, the invitation to exchange knowledge with his fairy would be accepted. The thought is stalled by a second invitation, one of battle, and at the mention, a grin makes its way onto my face. It had been quite some time since I had received a true challenge outside of my internal battles so the thought is intriguing. It also held great risk at the same time. Should I be victorious as expected, I run the possibility of hard feelings from a higher order spirit who bases much on strength. My victory in this spar would probably not sit all too well with him. On the reverse, defeat would have even worse consequence. We are in my land and before my people. Should I fall, it could undo a great deal. While my people do love and cherish me now, the fear of my power has always balanced things out to keep all as it should be. If a sliver of doubt into my power were to arise, it would be my undoing. Still, the excitement about a battle cannot be subdued and I nod to Domen, "Yes, let us test each other." I tilt my head towards the exit and lift off of the ground. Turning my body, I fly out of the room, then exit the building and finally make my way up into the air. Now true, I could have just teleported, but that would divulge more than I wish to at this moment. "Let the mind open the gates of power." Now in the sunlight, my body gives off a faint glow. Myndius.
