| Might as well not let this go to waste. - Spoiler:
- Quote :
- ● Tortle ●
Special Techniques: » Tortle Xformation (passive) The Tortles were a species of light blue, typically sea-bound bipedal creatures resembling a hybrid between a turtle and a human with its most notable feature being the hard shell on its back. This shell forms and solidifies on its back after birth, however is strangely not a permanent fixture. Since their physiology simulates their human counterparts, it works in their favor. Since it offers protection, however, they were rarely seen without their shells. Some who are descendant of these creatures may be able to call forth this transformation. Effect: +20% def per level (up to +1 attribute level), shell density = 3, shell creation requires 6 posts (-1 post per level)
» Hydro Cannon Their means of water conjuration bears similarity to those of a draconic ancestry. Ostensibly, its workings require an action resembling the drawing of a breath. Often, their body expands slightly as the initial quantity of water is created and harbored within. From there, they expel it forth in the form of a large torrent. The strength of this technique typically acts as a display of their overall strength. Effect: dmg = +1 per level (up to Fierce), force = dmg +1, width = 1 ft per level, range = 10 ft per level, drain is Fierce
» Shell Play This ability displays a Tortle's prowess over the creation and manipulation of their shells. Through their pores, they secrete a substance that rapidly solidifies and forms into their carapace. Time spent in practice results in the ability to create a shell just as strong as their initial and eventually, they are able to spawn one of even greater fortification. Its partial removal and creation as well as adjustment so they may withdraw into its depths where they may fully shield themselves from hazards. Effect: +10% shell density per level (up to +2 density) with build/repair rate based on Xformation shell creation
» Natural-born Swimmer (passive) Unlike their apparent ancestors, the Tortles are endothermic and don't possess the slow metabolisms they would be expected to. Their astonishing resistance to cold makes it possible for them to brave just about any ocean of any location. Of course, their need for air is more apparent than those of the poikilothermic class. As they spend more time in the water, their proficiency and skill maneuvering within it increases as does the length they are able to hold their breath. Effect: +20% speed & dex per level (up to +1 attribute level) while in water. Can hold breath for 12 minutes per level trained.
» Hydrageddon Perhaps their most unorthodox ability, the Tortle withdraws into their shell before utilizing a high-powered version of Hydro Cannon within its confines. This results in 5 separate streams that jettison from each opening within the shell. However, their skill in the water element is utilized to influence it. Putting this to use, the water is manipulated to form a tornado with themselves positioned at its center. This is undoubtedly the Tortle's most devastating and destructive ability and those who had mastered it are regarded as those to be respected amidst their species. Effect: dmg = Destructive, suction strength/bind = Strong, range = 15 ft per level

| Umm... Shin, why did the drain setup for Pure Affinity get changed while I was gone? The original approved drain was: Ability 1: Pure Affinity (passive) Being supernatural creatures who excel in battle, these Kami have learned to utilize support and light magic in conjunction with offensive magic of matching alignment. Having a heightened bond to the Spiritual Arts, they are able to use all perfected abilities in their affinity at full strength at all times. Effect: Allows Kunashi Kami to use offensive affinity magic at full power, even with Light or Support; offensive magic tech must be perfected to deal destructive damage. Destructive Drains @ Novice.

| Ah ok, but was there an actual reason b/c you also moved it from being a passive ability. I'm just wondering what was wrong with the originally approved version? Sorry, I meant to ask you when we were talking earlier, but I had to tend to something at work when I noticed it. | |
