Grand Larceny

___A dark night in Tokyo, lit by the restless learnings of the species known as man, stretched out below. Above perched a black fox… she’d chosen this disguise to travel to the location of the night’s events, but now that she’d arrived, she hopped off into a dark back alley and made her metamorphosis. Emerging as a dark furred fox with eyes that glowed amber and all the shades of a toxic swamp, she stopped at the mouth of the darkness. The Lonely Shot stood before her, full of plenty of drunks ready to be robbed.
___Quietly, she crept forward and waited patiently in the parking lot. A man, dressed like the average working man, stumbled out of the bar, having been kicked out for fighting, and made his way towards a dark corner of the parking lot where his broke down car was. Silently, stealthily, the thief snuck after him until he was to his vehicle and looking for his keys.

OOC: Why ain't rolling permitted on these boards? Especially since you have to roll for fights and stuff

As she crept up to the man, she saw his wallet implanted firmly in his back pocket. Being fairly new at stealing things that weren’t technically free, the spirit fox jumped and clamped her teeth down firmly on the pocket with the wallet, allowing her weight to rip the cloth from his behind.
___Naturally, this caused the man some distress, and he turned with a great shout of rage. There was only one creature for him to see… that is, Grunty, sitting there, offended by the noise, with the wallet and a few shreds from his pants and boxers in her mouth.
___The first thing the man did was take out his gun, and the fox replied in her usual manner, or rather, she didn’t have to talk at all. She found spell casting much easier in such a form. The man didn’t seem like he was up for much trifling, though, so her intention at first was to use the form to escape. Her victim wouldn’t have it, though, and quickly found a gun in the trunk and took aim with surprising speed. Attacking in perfect silence, the lights began to dim somewhat as she conjured up electrical energy, an extension of her summoned physical body as well as her own spiritual energy, which combined and flowed from her hostile emotions. In this case, they formed into ropes of electricity, a stronger form of the static electricity that made one’s socks cling to one’s pants in the dryer. Swiftly, they bound the man and he found himself dropping his gun and it landed with a loud noise of impact on the hard parking lot ground.

[color=#000000]___Grunty breathed a sigh of relief as the man struggled within the strong electric bonds. He wouldn’t stay put for long, however, and if he kept making up noise like this he might attract the attention of someone unpleasant, she thought. Worse yet, the possibility of him being spiritually aware existed, and if so he’d be able to chase her and perhaps even wound her. She couldn’t think of an advantage of leaving him here conscious, or even alive. The spirit never killed anyone before, though, and there was nothing nearby that would keep her claws from getting dirty.
___ Such was her dilemma until her narrow eyes fell upon the gun. Yes… the gun, the very thing he’d hoped to put an end to her with. Now came a new use for her electric abilities. Concentrating carefully, she guided the static electricity she was now manipulating into a field around the gun. It took much more concentration than she was able to muster without completely blocking the man out, but she did it, just as he managed to break free. As it lifted, as though by an invisible hand, he thoroughly freaked out and leapt into the car, trying to get the key into the ignition.
___ Now that she had the object under her control magnetically, she began to squeeze the trigger.
___ A loud boom rang out across the noisy night. The man lay dead in a pool of red, his hands still on the steering wheel of his own vehicle. No fingerprints were on the weapon save his own… convenient enough for the police. To make it even simpler for them to come to the desired conclusion, she guided and carefully tucked the weapon into his arms.
___[/color ]A small crowd across the parking lot had heard the gunshot and started running towards the scene. Grunty hadn’t even had to drop the wallet, and it was still in her mouth as she phased out, running beneath cars and leaping out over its edge and into the shadows of the night air over the Commons.
