Subject: Natsuki in the Library with the book Sat May 30, 2009 4:21 pm

Setting at my desk, I was writing a few things down. I bell rings and everyone gathers up there stuff to head home. As I’m putting my notebook and things into my school bag a girl with glasses pops her head into the classroom doorway before she nervously walks over to me. “Umm… Kuga-senpai…” I look up at the girl she has on a first year’s uniform. “Huh?” The girl trembles as if she was about to get hit, “thee library needsss… two stuuudents… from your class to help with the book! Thank you every much for not eating me!” I blink for a moment as the girl says the last part really fast and dashes out of the room. For not eating her… what the hell is that about. I sigh then look over to the desk next to me, “Hey Sei…” Two dotted outlines of Hotaka and Seiki blink in the empty desk. Looking around the room, I roll my eyes when I see that Beat is the only one left. I would almost rather do it all by myself then have to spend the afternoon with him. “You’re not leaving yet Brandon. We have to go help reorganize the books in the library.” I stand up from my desk and pick up my bag.

I was to busy packing my bag to see the girl walk into the the room and didn't pay much attention to the conversation she had with someone else in the room, I didn't even know Natsuki was still in the room with me. After stuffing some text books into my backpack I pull out an mp3 player and stick one of the ear buds into an ear and turn the music on before I stand up and sling the back pack over my shoulder and head for the door. Before I could get very far I heard my name being called followed by some other stuff, upon hearing my name I looked to the person who said it and sighed lightly seeing it was Natsuki and she wanted something. After she finishes I get a funny look on my face as I look at her " Reorganize the books in the library- Whha why do I gotta help you? " I asked as an annoyed look came over my face as I looked at Natsuki " Now, if some super hot chick asked me to help her in a nice, quiet library then Id be fine with that, but just plane old Natsuki asked me... Bummer. " I finished with a light sigh.

I give Beat a smirk. “Well I love you too, but I’m not asking for your help me. I’m telling you that you have to help the library because if two of us don’t show up then the class will lose a point and we’ll be dropped down to third in the class rankings. It already pisses me off that we are under those eggheads in 3-A and I’ll be super piss if those dumb asses in 3-F pass us up. So if you really don’t want to help that is fine but when everyone ask, “Natsuki how did 3-F pass us in the rankings!” I’ll just have to tell them that you didn’t feel like doing it and it cost us a point.” I flick my hair back and walk out of the classroom.

With the smirk I raise an eyebrow as I watch her and make a funny face at what she said first, though I knew she was joking around. As she went on I sighed and listened to her as she gave me her little speech. When the part came up about putting all the blame on me I sighed lightly and shook my head " Blah, fine. Ill help BUT... you owe me something. So, I guess lets go to the library, ok pumpkin? " as I finished I looked away from Natsuki and began for the door slowly as I let out another sigh " And you better not be planing to make me do all the work when we get there cause I'm not gonna. " I came to a stop at the door and glanced to Natsuki to make sure she was following before I left the classroom and began down the hallway.

Slightly weaving my hand at his request that I owe him one. “Yeah, Yeah, I’ll make you a lunch or something…and did you just all me a pumpkin? I’ll have you know that I have the ideal body for a girl my age think you every much.” I inform him in a serious tone as we walk down the hall and I place my hands behind my back.

The library filled with teams of two from each class. All of the books have been pulled from the shelves and are being place in stacks by their category. The president of the library club is giving out order.
“Umm we are from class 3-B…” The geeky girl looks at Beat and me. “You two are late! The D section is done so you two can put them back on the shelf.” She points a rather large stack of books.
“Umm ok…” I reply before picking up a few of the books and looking to Beat, “I’ll let you get the rest of them, Ok?” My eye close and I smile at him.

" Ideal body? For a midget? " I said in a joking tone as I followed her to the library. When we entered I glanced around and let out a light groan " Aww man.. " I muttered as I looked at all the books and other students already working to put them up " So, its gonna be a big lunch right? " I said, shooting a glance to Natsuki before looking to the geeky girl as she informs us we are late to which I point to Natsuki in a childish way as if to put all the blame on her. After pointing to Natsuki, I look to the large stack of books she had pointed to before looking to Natsuki as she picked up a few books then delegated the rest to me " Gee, thanks. I've always wanted to carry around books after reading them. " with my statement, I picked up what I could of the remaining books and looked to Natsuki " Ladys first. "

I roll my eyes when he says ladies first. Why doesn’t he just say that he doesn’t know where to go. Carrying the books over to the D section, I set them down and look at the shelf for a moment. “Why don’t you carry the rest of the books over here and I’ll start putting them away.” As he is doing that I start placing the books on the shelf in there rightful places. My arm stretches out and I get on my tipeetoes, I pause for a moment when I unable to reach the shelf that one book needs to go on. Looking around for a sec I grab the stepladder and pull it over. “So how is your little sister? I’m guessing you guys had to evacuate your building the other day as well?” I ask Beat when he gets done. Seeing that his apartment build was just across form the street of mine it wouldn’t be too hard to put that one to gather. I was mostly just trying to make small talk to pass the time.

When she rolls her eyes I offer her a smile and follow after her as she leads the way to where the books go. Once we arrive at the correct section I set the books I have down and look to her when she speaks. As she finishes I nod faintly, that sounded like a great idea, let her do the hard work of putting them up while I just go get them. Turning around, I head back to where the books are and grab more from our stack and take them back to Natsuki, looking up at her now that she was on a step ladder. Moving over to the shelf, I set the books down before looking to Natsuki again when she speaks up " She is doing alright. Yeah, we had to high tail it out of there for some reason, TV said it was terrorists, can you believe that? Dudes attackin the city and blowing people up. If I found who did it I'd probably beat them to a bloody pulp before turning them in. How about you? "

I place the rest of the books I have onto the shelf as I listen to Beat. “That is good that she is doing ok. Yeah the all the windows got busted out of my apartment so I’m staying over at Seiki’s house. Can you hand me those books right there?” I look down at him and point to the books I had sorted. Beat has the same aura as Hotaka. That and because of what happen out in the forest that one night, I know Beat can see the same stuff as I can. “No, I don’t believe it at all. First they say it was a gas explosion caused by a earth quake and then it is a terrorist attack…what I saw wasn’t a terrorist attack.” Unless you think a terrorist attack is a horde of undead and demons… Come to think about, I would have thought knowing that dead people really did walk around like they do in those creepy movies would bother me a little more then what it does. Maybe I am crazy…

" I said as I reached down and picked up the books Natsuki had pointed out and began handing them to her " Alone, or with some other girl that's way hotter then you, not that your hot or anything, your just plane Natsuki. " I fell silent and listened as she began to speak again, still handing books up when she needed them. When she finished speaking I looked up at her like she was crazy " What did you see? I really didn't get to see anything I was to busy getting the hell out of there and making sure my sis was ok, and then the police made sure we got some where safe which is pretty cool. "

Looking down at Beat, I raise a brow as he tried to insult or tease me or something. I’m not really sure where he was going with that. I didn’t really care if he thought I was hot or not and being plane seems to have worked for me because I do have a boyfriend. I set a few books onto the shelf. I pause for a moment and look at him when he asks what I saw. Taking the book from him I turn back to the shelf, “Oh it’s nothing. Better that I don’t say after all it was just terrorists nothing creep like what you would find out in the woods or in a bad B movie. So Brandon, who is this other girl that is way hotter then me that you like so much? Is it one of the Kashiwagi twins?” I grin as I take anther book to put on the shelf.

When she looked at me I smiled at her, it seemed she didn't get angry when I made fun of her, that was nice I guess. When she takes the book from me I pick up a few more and hold them out one by one to her as she begins to speak of what she had seen, or at least I thoughts he would in the end she started talking about the woods we were in before and B movies, blah, then she she moved on and I gave her a funny look " Well, there are a lot of girls that are way hotter then you and why should I tell you who I have my eye on? so what if it is one of the Kashiwagi twins or someone else, its not like your gonna put in a good word for me or something like that, I'm pretty sure you'd do the opposite and say something bad, you are the one that called me a perv.. "

I was about to tell you which one of them likes you…” I put my finger to my lip, “hmm was it Yūma or Yūna I can never tell them apart.” I take the book and put it away. “And you was so perving on me that first day of school. Don’t think for a second I didn’t see you looking at my breast like the pervert you are. It wouldn’t shock me to find you looking up girls skirts when they’re not looking.” My finger runs a long the books as I check to make sure they are in order. I hold my hand out for a anther one.

Me checking him out, this causes me to laugh and everyone in the library looks over at us. “Me… check you out? Don’t make me laugh so hard. I about end up peeing on myself.” I take a few steps down so we are eye level. “You do have that cute American boy thing going on and you’re a nice guy. A lot of girls go for that but I’m not one of them.” I take a book as I grin at him before climb back up the ladder. “I’m more into the bad boy type that is sweet but always causing trouble.” I slide the book into place. The top shelf was almost done with.

When she busts out laughing I glance around at the people looking at us before looking back up at her " Shhh Natsuki, your making people stare at you. " I said, trying to act like I didn't do anything as I looked at at Natsuki since we where eye level " You know, now taht I can see into your eyes, you look kinda cute, but your still crazy and not my type. " I watch her as she climbs back up the ladder with a book and sigh " Bad boy? Eh, what do you watn someone that rolls around beating up old people and taking lunch money from little kids? "

I give Beat an odd look, “Beating up old people and tanking lunch money… You’re really weird Brandon. I’m not ever going to ask what type of people you’ve been hanging around with.” I look at the bookshelf for a moment, “I’m not talking about a thug. No one likes thugs. I’m talking about a guy that’ll jump in and kick someone’s ass to save his girl. Or do something they shouldn’t just so they can say they have done it. Hmm maybe I should have said someone this is a little ruff around the edges and soft in the center. Like Seiki.” I slide the last book into place and start on the next roll. “So what type of girl you like, not many girls around here have green eyes.”

I look at Beat when he seems to get upset that I didn’t think he was a delinquent. Most people would be happen that they don’t seem like a delinquent. I just shrug when he says that it sounds like I was looking of candy rather then a boyfriend. “I never said I was looking for a boy friend…” I hold up a book over Beat’s head and act like I’m looking at it, “I don’t need to look for one either because I already have one. Woopsie….” The book falls out of my hand. “Oh I’m so sorry it slipped out of my hand… I guess it was just to heavy for me to hold.”

Seconds later the thing falls out of her hands and hits me on the head with a thud before falling to the ground. As soon as the book hits my head I pull back and cover my head " Snap. That hurt. " I tried not to yell or rasie my voice as I rubbed my head as I looked up at Natsuki with a light glare " Yeah... It just happened to slip out of your hands? I'll believe that when pigs fly. " After rubbing my head a bit more I bent over and picked the book up before offering it to her " Put it up? "
