Saga - Title: dark chaos
Time of Day: One hour past sunset Location: Saichuushigai City, Earth Board: Global
((Ambiguous Prologue)) It is a quiet night. The skies over the city are dense with large and heavy dark clouds that move slowly over head. Lightning bolts flicker and spark in the thick clouds but there is no rain that falls to the city. The large megascreen on the omnious corporate building located near the the center of the city metro brightly illuminates the dark night. It shows an advertisement for its new LD, live definition, visual monitor-screen system, it gives the temperature at 60 degrees and it reads the time at 11:55 p.m. Two unknown entities look over the city, hovering high up in the sky, inches over the City Metro barrier. One, a tall and slender figure with a weak appearing body, stands in the air with his arms folded at his chest. A sinister and sly grin is placed across the lower portions of his face. The other figure resembles a small girl who sits in the air innocently and looking around in random directions. They are both demonic spirit that work for a greater boss. The male demon tilts his head to the side and begins to chuckle for no reason. He tilts his head to the side and and points down at the ground at a undisclosed place.
"Hmmm.... I think we should go there."
The little girl turns and tilts her head up to him and then nods.
"Okay."
(Dramatic pause. Bum bum buuuum)
Shadows cut through the forest. Dark figure move in the city's direction at a high rate of speed. The metallic sounds of sheathed swords click softly as they run. Their attire consists of dark clothes and black head and facial masks. The two leaders in front of the rushing dozen in the group are dressed in Yukata's and deep straw hats. They stop immediately and in unison when they reach the edge of the city. One of the leaders step forward and crouches onto one knee. He murmurs something under his breath. He moves suddenly and slams his palm on the ground. It gives off a small silver glow in a circle that surrounds his body. The glow fades away after a second or so. He stands and turns around to the group of shinobi behind him. He gives his orders non verbally with several quick hand symbols and a nod in both directions. The hunters infront of him look as if they turn into shadows when they move and disperse in all directions. The leader raises his head so that his face is barely visible in the city's glow. His features give him away as an older male with a long and thin beard and mustache hanging down under his frown.
"We must stop it before it starts..."
The other leader figure nods solemnly. Lightning flashes in the background and they vanish.
(Dramatic pause x2. Bum bum bum buuuum. End of Spoiler, Saga Action Starts)
--------------------- Tre Note: * Sacred hunters have reached the edge of the city at an unknown location from the Western Forests, they did NOT arrive at the City Metro. ---------------------
There is a large explosion in the southern portion of East City that causes the entire city to shake and rumble. It has been two years since the last earthquake, but the last earth quake the city had was small and didn't effect the city too bad. Now this time, the explosion causes a shaking that interrupts normal activities. It lasts for a full minute before the dome of energy fades away. When it is over, street lights around the city in all areas blink out of sync and visual monitors show static being out of phase. Elgoog reacts quickly to explain things to the citizens who could get reception. They broadcast that the city has felt the effects of an earth quake that triggered a gas explosion. The affected area is a creater that is about a block in width two blocks away from the shopping center. Division 12 scrambles to evacuate civilians away from the affected area and the normal police are ordered to tape off the affected area. Division 12 pulls rank and orders civilians and normal police to stay away from the affected area. A few weird or noisy people try to get in and look, but most are redirected. Crowds form at the end of the taped off areas, but the police tape off far enough so that nothing could be seen for people on the outside. It is not clear, other than what Elgoog says, what was going on.

[Ingel: Dark Chaos] Ingel sighs lightly as he pulls the cigarette from his lips, exhaling the smoke as he gives the sky another glance as the dark clouds loom over head, filled with the sounds of thunder and flickers of lightning, though there was no rain yet. Pulling his attention away from the sky, he looks back to the street ahead of him as he brings the cigarette back to his lips and takes another drag from it as he gazes down the street. His attention is quickly drawn away from the street as his surroundings and the city begins to shake, his gaze falling upon a glow emanating from East City. As he looks upon the faint glow, the shaking and rumbling around him continues for a good minute before it finally stops, though his attention was focused on the glow. The shaking had interrupted a lot and caused trouble with not only the street lights but other things as well. When it was finally over a TV screen on a building close to Ingel springs to life as a man comes on it and begins to explain what had just happened. Ingel slowly pushes the driver side door open and steps out of his SUV, looking up at the TV screen as the man speaks. The police radio in Ingel's SUV springs to life with chatter from the dispatchers " We have a gas explosion in East City, we need all available officers on sight and help with the quarantine off the area. Division 12 will be on site to take care of the evacuation of civilians. " When he heard the transition over the police radio his attention quickly shifted from the TV broadcast to the one he had heard on the police radio. Ingel looked in the direction of East City as he slipped back into his car. As he began to pull the door shut behind him he looked up at the other cars on the street, the lights had been effected by the quake so driving may turn out to be a bit harder " Damn it.. With the lights messing up the streets will be filled with chaos. ". With a sigh, Ingel leaned in the driver side of his car and turned it off before he pulled the keys out of the ignition " I guess I'm going on foot.. " he said to himself, slipping his keys into his pocket before he opened the center consol and pulled out his spare Hakaisha pistol and slipped it into the back of his belt " Ill head to East City and see whats going on... ". Nodding his head some he pulled back and shut the door before pulling his keys out again and locking his car up. With that settled, Ingel pulled away from his car and began to run down the street. Indeed the streets where in chaos, traffic was at a stand still and there were even crashes in some intersections, though Ingel knew he couldn't stop for them, he had to keep going and make it to East City. Having been on the east side of the Lower Commons, Ingel didn't have very far to go to get to East City. As he came to East City, he glanced around, it was in chaos as well, no doubt the rest of the city was in some form of chaos.

Adrian Darren Farenheights pulled his bike to a stop, frowning when he saw the police rushing in the direction of the explosion. But something was wrong. He could feel it in his bones. The earthquake, the recent spiritual activity. It had to somehow be tied together. Wheels squealing as he revved the bike into high gear while holding the brake, he set his jaw. He shifted his weight, the bike turning in the direction he wanted and he took off after the cops. He moved as fast as he could, keeping the cops within eyesight but trying to hang back enough to make it seem as if he weren't following them. He didn't care what civilians thought, but if the police were going to a spiritually active zone they'd have some kind of reason for it, and a cover up. He'd have a cover story for himself if they caught onto him.
Don't do anything stupid. You can't fight the police and win. Evasion is the key.
He ducked into an alley, after he parked the bike. He watched them tape off the area as people were gathering, and evacuated. His eyes narrowed before he gripped the sheath under his long coat. Kept within was Goranova, the Sword of Light. His instincts weren't far off. He saw spirits all around him, but didn't seem to care. He walked through the alley, his eyes glancing left and right. As he came out on the other side, he saw it too had been taped off. He tapped his chin and thought. If he were going to get in he'd have to find a way to sneak through. Just shoving his way past wouldn't be good. He'd be shot, or arrested, and he couldn't have that. There had to be some way to get in.

Here I had grown into my role as a Sergeant within Division 12 and had been promoted to manage a three-cell team consisting of two Lieutenants and myself after previously serving in a team for about a month. It was a pretty rapid escalation in rank, but the lack of life and amount of time I put in work helped me along the way. The job was what it always was: the undercover combat and enforcement of human law and justice over spirits.
It had been a quiet night thus far. My day consisted with me going in for training. With the arrival of the evening, I had gotten off work and came home to the apartment I shared with my small gray feline roommate, Lil Ghost. After returning home, I attempt to relax and enjoy my evening.
Walking about a large rectangular wooden auditorium, I look about attempting to decipher just where I should go in order to start a chess game in the online world of Realm2.0. My surroundings were that of a large oriental house set within a large field of flowers and green grass wielding a horizontal red sign above the entrance reading “Chess Master’s Den.” In this den set in old style, several tables line up in rows with people sitting across from one another, playing against one another. My gaze lifts as I notice a vacant seat three tables down with an elderly Roshi-type sitting with his arms folded and waiting for a challenger. Deciding to attempt my luck, I begin to make my way towards him. As soon as I take the first step, the ground begins to shake violently. It shakes to such an extent that I fall back and the world around me crashes as it begins to digitally degrade starting from the top and working its way down until I find myself sitting on my rear in a shaky living room. Seemingly scarred out of his mind, Lil Ghost scurries around the living room in circles running from the ground to jumping on the couch then back to the floor. Ignoring him, I attempt to make sense of the shaking as I wonder if it were an earthquake of some type. There didn’t seem to be anywhere in particular to take cover during this quake, so I stay where I am, since there wasn’t much of a threat of anything other than the ceiling falling on me. After a minute, the shaking stops and I find myself unharmed with much of the items in my apartment displaced with the power out. A frown comes to my face, yet soon the power blinks back on and the visual monitor begins to cut on. Elgoog is quick to explain the quake.
Some time after the quake hit, my cell rings and it is work. I am alerted to travel to East City where something ‘not normal’ has occurred along with a few other pieces of information. I give my affirmation to the dispatcher, gather myself and make way to get my things, including my attire of black cargo pants, shirt, boots, belt, badge, holsters and vest, before exiting the frazzled apartment for my car.
Time passes and I find much of the city in disarray. Luckily, since it was past mid night, there wouldn’t be huge traffic jams and dense civilian populations about the city; still the event seemed to trigger much attention. Making it to the area where I had been called to, I notice the regular police taping off the block. I drive through a blockade while showing my credentials to the officers holding the area and move in to where my cell would be meeting up with other units of Division 12. The division didn’t seem to be sure of what was going on, but then again, that’s part of the reason why others and myself were called out here tonight. I bring the car to a park approaching several others and a Div12 van, where I get out, close the door, and begin to make my way towards the others and find my team for briefing and action.

I was lying down peacefully in my bed, in my room, at home where I lived alone with my mother. I was lying on top of the covers; my arms were folded beneath my head and with my cheek resting on the back of my hand and my elbows pointed away from my body resting slightly on the literature book held open in front of me at face level. Teal bangs shift over my sleeping visage as my chest slowly rises up and down with the rhythm of my breathing. I had been up reading before I feel asleep to study for my English class. Winter break had come and gone, along with a bunch of crazy things that seemed to happen when hanging around the people I hung around.
It was the effects of the large quake that had woken me from my slumber with a start. Immediately, I shoot up out of bed and look around my room. My trophies had fallen to the ground from the dresser as well as the things from my desk. “That was a big one…” I murmur lightly seeing what it had done. My mind begins to attempt to understand what was going on, but soon after that, I realize something and quickly rise out of my bed, bringing my feet to the ground. In my pajamas, I make my way from my room down the hall to my mother’s room where I slide her door open and look in to see if she was okay. Sitting up in her bed with a dresser lamp on, she turns to me and asks if I am okay. “That’s my line,” I say as I look around her room to find it in as much disarray as my own. A gentle smile graces her lips, beneath the tan leather eye patch that covers her right eye which was partially covered by the long stringy strands of blond hair. She teases, “it was just an earth quake… but it made such a mess.” With a nod, I agree and confirm while scratching my side, “I guess the worst is over…” I walk around her bed to the other side to make sure nothing that fell broke. My mother agrees with my statement speaking, “yes. Go ahead and go back to sleep. We can clean this up in the morning.” I stop my survey and shrug, “okay. Let me just go outside to check things out.” She allows this, but tells me not to be out too long, since it was late. Agreeing with a simple, “hai hai” I lazily walk out of her room, sliding the door shut. Moving through the house, I make it to the door and walk outside to head to the garage and inspect things. As I make my way to the garage, I notice the sounds of sirens and yelling not too far off in the distance here in East City where I lived. Aside from that, there seemed like there was a dim glow coming from one area that may have been my imagination. But, my interest, much like many others, is piqued as I decide that I could go check out what the ruckus was about. Something really big might have gotten damaged and it would be good conversation at school tomorrow if I witnessed it first hand. Deciding to go out for a while, I head back inside to slip on some jeans and look for the cell phone that had fallen under my bed.

A dream about a cute guy. Only for the world to tilt and my body crashes to the floor. "AH!" I scream, my legs tangled in my sheets. I then realize the room is shaking. My eyes widen in fright. Another earthquake. I scramble for the door, tripping over my sheets in the process. Yume is at her family's kabuki studio at the moment. I grab the door and station myself in the door frame as the world rumbles. I can hear as things hit the ground and I want to scream in terror. I'm scared for the first time in many years. I wish I could have been in Gothstone with Jyn or something. I should have asked to spend the weekend with my boyfriend when Yume went home to help with a new show. But no. I have to be his chaste and tell him I would see him when he was free for a date.
Finally it stops and I slid down to the floor and sniffle a bit, shaken up from the event. Jigoku pulses, calling to me. I dry my eyes quickly and get back to my feet. I can't cry at a time like this. I toss off the t-shirt I'm wearing and I pull on a bra and a new pair of panties. I then pull on my jeans and a tank top. I brush my hair out quickly then tie it back. I grab my small messenger bag, shoving in my cell, money, keys and a compact mirror. Once this is done I grab Jiku and my seireikendo. I tuck them into my belt. One quick check of my essentials and I head out the door, locking it behind me. I can hear people panicking and I take the fire escape instead of the inside stairs, since they are packed with the residents trying to get out. I run down the escape and the hop down to the alley below. I peek out and see the chaos the earthquake brought forth. Jiku hums. I blink. I then feel something off and shiver. Something isn't right. I remain hidden before I run toward the panic. I blink as I come upon the damaged area, people fleeing. I move into the shadows to observe just as the cops arrive. I roll my eyes. What did they plan to do?
I sigh, not willing to reveal myself and be drawn away. I'm not a normal civilian. As I wait, Div12 arrives and I perk. I wonder is Jyn is there. I keep to myself in the shadows, wanting to know what is to happen. Yume says I look for adventure. And she's right. Danger excites me.

Hotaka Kaito! Heaven's Closing In; To Save The World of Chaos! Here And Now Begins; The End Of a Million Sorrows! The dipping of the sun (and its subsequent appearance on the horizon lasting slightly longer than it should due to the bending of light rays from the difference in the index of refraction) had long since finished, gracing the other side of the globe with its light. It would be back tomorrow, of course, but until then, it was time for me to sleep. I would be going back home just as soon as the young cashier behind the counter finished scanning my daily groceries. I had picked up some small things like milk, pancake batter, eggs, flour, crackers, some small bags of chips, juice, and a variety of other small little things including some disinfectant for the wound gracing my face under my left eye. It was just a shallow cut, but I would need to treat it all the same. I hoped whatever they offered would work on whatever demons had on their nails. All in all, I had about three and a half full bags total. It wasn't much, and I didn't really lose any money as I had already taken that out of my living expenses earlier when I first got my weekly stipend. Exitting the store, I would make my way back to the dorm room I was supplied with here in the Academic District. It wasn't too far of a walk, but it was still nearing midnight, so I was tired. I wondered what the little one was doing, since there was supposedly another marathon of some magical girl show on until midnight. Had she fallen asleep watching it? Was she still watching it? Did she not care? Whatever, either way, if she was awake that'd be nice, as I did pick some little things up for her and those dogs.. I begin to picture the ways my room could change now that I have more inhabitants than just myself. Before they moved in, it was a fairly simple place. It had a normal door that opened outward, with a fur floor and an unnecessary rug over top it in the middle. There was a small desk that you would use if you were just sitting on the ground, and a little blanket came out from the sides for you to warm your lower half with as you sat down. Behind that, along the backwall, was my bed. It was bigger than was needed for one person, but wasn't quite the size of a full two-person bed. It rested next to the window on the wall, and at the foot was a stand which had my T.V on it. Next to that was a desk where the computer was, and to the side of that was all the Realm2.0 things that were set up. Opposite the bed, next to the door as one would come in, was the counter with a few cabinets and two gas burners, along with a sink and microwave oven plus toaster. There was a small section made into a cutting board, but it was fairly simple either way. There was a small bathroom that had just a toilet and a cramped standing shower, but it worked for what it was designed to do. It truly was a blessing to live in such an advanced day and age where I could have such luxuries like this~ Arriving at the dorm and getting to my room, I shifted the bags to one arm and began to dig around for my key. I didn't know of the earthquake that would strike just a few minutes from then, and all I cared about was getting in, putting these things away, and get to bed without waking the little one up if she was asleep. Opening the door, I peek in and quietly announce my return with a, "I'm back." so as not to awake her but to let her know I had returned if she was not yet asleep.

The light on the access panel next to the door to my office turns green before the door slides open. A teenage-looking girl with brown hair and blond highlights streaked through it walks in and smiles at me. "Here's your smoothie, Psyre, as well as the intelligence reports from today." I motion at the table to the right of my desk and she sets them down there. She gets ready to ask me a question and I nod to her before she finishes. The girl heads for the door and when she arrives, I look up and speak, "Thank you." Out of the corner of my eye, I see her smile and a bit of a bounce pick up to her step. Going over the reports from today as I normally do before I head home, I notice that the damned Lower Commons are not seeing a reduction in their crime rates. Thankfully, East City has been just fine. A Precinct Captain in the LC calls me and I answer. A holographic image of the Captain appears and he tells me that they are planning a raid on another confirmed warehouse that is housing "dark spirit people". I nod to him and ask him what sort of support he would like. He tells me that perimeter support would be most beneficial. I start inputting specifications of the request into a datapad as he tells me what other specifics he would like the team to have including time tables for the raid. The datapad removes units of mercenaries, vigilantes, and gangs that don't fit the criteria to limit the number of potentials that will be contacted and offered the job. Once we confirm the specifics, I inform him that I will let him know tomorrow which team will be assisting his men.
We disconnect and a reminder speaks up from my main computer telling me to call the newly promoted East City Lieutenant that I've helped out on a few raids and one negotiation to congratulate him. I call and he picks up still at the station. I offer him my congratulations and he laughs telling me that he definitely expected a call from my assistant to do this. I chuckle and tell him that I'm not that distant anymore. He remarks on the "anymore" and we chat before my entire building shakes violently. His image shakes as well and we look at each other. "Did you feel that?" we both say in near unison. We nod and the comm is overrun by an Elgoog announcement. I turn to face my window looking out at the city to search for signs of damage.

Johnethen looked around as he woke up from a good dream. As he was starting to wonder what could have wakened him at this time of night as he saw his patio door open but he recalled closing it when he went to bed. Taking a deep breath figure he was imagining things all the same and must have forgotten somehow and thought he did.
He was with Megumi and all alone in his room. Right when he was about to score he woke up. Dam as it was always like that. Dwem cursing to himself under his breath as he lay there while he attempted to visualize here again but failed. Opening his eyes Johnethen seemed to lay there for as what seemed a moment but was actual time enough to doze off again.
Getting up noticing it was in the middle of the night. Glaring at the clock as he walked by was burning it with his mind.
Walking into the kitchen and stopped on a dime looking up at Megumi standing in his parent’s kitchen. Looking around and pinching himself. Reaching for his Hakaisha in his robe pocket figured she was in some sort of trouble. After a moment, he saw she was digging in his fridge. His concerned explosion must of alerted her to what he was thinking. Looking at the gun shook her head as Dwem asked her right up front.
“ What wrong. Is there something wrong at your house. “
After assuring her friend that, all was al’right as sound and secure as it ever was. She was just mooching some left over from his parent’s fridge.
Dwem holding his breath taking a moment or two looking her over. Grabbed some chicken and a soda he knew was there already. He looked up pausing then while he was considering her for a moment while taking a seat. Though it took a moment to fully awake she got what she was looking for and took a seat with him as she giggled at his expression.
Megumi catching where he was looking playfully kicked him in the rear sending Dwem almost stumbling. She knew how guys looked at her but she never considered Dwem looking at her like that before but simply ignored it and figured it had to do something about his dirty dream. Then considering that felt weird figuring she may have been in his dirty dream.
“ I am al’right as simply stealing your food. So what on your mind you perv. Seem like you were having some good dreams or something of that sort ha, “
Dwem placed the gun on the table and he started eating the cold chicken, as he loved chicken any way he could get it. Hot or cold, he would tear into it as if a starving man never could. After a bit of chitchat he cleaned up and wished her good night.
Picking up and putting away, his gun considered her for a moment longer and went towards the bridge again. Not sure, what brought about her night raids on his fridge but as long as she dint scarf on his chocolate chip Ice cream it was al’right.
Shaking his head and grabbing another soda and a piece of was once chicken and headed back to bed. Looking back at her with a smile had to laugh at seeing her like that after the dream he just had. Looking back, he noticed she was eating ice cream. Peacefully glaring at the container of chocolate chip ice cream Dwem simply kept walking.
All the while, he heard her giggle as she taunted Dwem.
“ Ya, you better believe it. I got your ice cream and there isnt a thing you are going to do about it either little man. “
Making his way back to his room Johnethen ate his food and drank the soda before cleaning up and falling back asleep if he could. Restfully he looked into the ceiling and then out the window of his room. Dwem Noticing his friend walk into his room and out his patio door leading from his room. A clear view of her slim figure and his ice cream exiting his house.
Slipping back into a deep sleep after a while struggling he was dreaming again.

(tap… tap… tap… tap…tap tap tap) (Oh…Oh…Oh…Ah... Cling… Cling) Sound of wood braking, screams of pain… “RING OUT!”
The small girl wearing nothing but a short pink T-shirt and matching lacy panties, jumps up on the sofa pointing the controller at the big demon sitting next to her whom she order to play SoulCalibur. “I win again!”
There is a big grin on my face as I flick back my long blue hair. “For an ancient warrior you sure do suck at video games… You better be trying or I’m going make you wash all my panties by hand.”
There is a loud boom and the shakes the apartment. I lose my footing and fall on top of Demon as the power goes out and the glass door to the terrace breaks. After the shaking stops, I am able to stand up with a sigh. “That is just great.” I stumble around in the dark for a few moments before the lights come back on and VD with it. I walk into my room and start to get dressed. Lights from police cars speeding through the street below flash through the window. As I am pulling up my black knee-highs, I hear the guy on the VD saying that an earthquake caused a gas explosion. I walk out of my bedroom wearing a white dress shirt with a black tie and skirt. My cell rings and I pick it up as I walk by, “What’s going on?” “Well it is good to know you’re alright. Can you see anything from where you are at?” I walk over the broken glass and step out onto the terrace to look down the street. “Looks like a fire like they said on the news can’t really see anything from here. I’ll go check things on from the roof and call you back.” I walk inside and open up the bag sets by the door. Putting a chain with my badge and ID over my neck and then strapping a holster with two silver pistols around my torso before putting an earpiece in my ear and slipping on my shoes. “Oh yeah almost forgot.” I reach in and pull out a pear of binoculars before grabbing a long black coat and heading out the door. On the roof I look around. “Can’t see anything from here. All I can tell is that it takes up a few blocks…. When are you guys going to get here?” The binoculars come down to my side as I ask the question into earpiece. “I’m downloading our location to your phone right now but I was just told that Division 12 is taking over and we are not to enter the area.” A grin comes to my face. “It sounds like I may have some fun tonight. I think I’ll try to get a closer look.” The voice on the other end starts to say thing but is cut off when I turn the earpiece off. I take a moment to look around it looks like a crowd was forming with people trying to get a look. That would make it troublesome to get through plus Division 12 are being assholes and trying to take all of the fun for them-self so the best way would be… “Domen, I want to get a better look at what is going on. Can you care me to that building over there?” I point off in the far.

Saga - Title: dark chaos
Time of Day: Half-Hour Past Midnight Location: Saichuushigai City, Earth Board: Global
Division 12 surrounds the affected area. The affected area is a block wide two blocks south from the famous shopping district in East City and south of the City Metro. A haze that looks like dust floats around the edge of the affected area. The police try to keep a border of contain ment about a block from that. They have their hands full with free lance reporters, skeptics and homeless loons.
"It's the media's right to cover this properly!" "This is oppression! The police can't do this!" "The end is coming! Demons and Spirits are upon us!" "Hey! Interview the crazy guy!"
Some of the police complain about civil work. Since there was a crowd, vendors set up hot dog stands for the forming crowd. No one really knows what's going on yet, but some people make their own conclusions. A large group in tin foil hats seems to be way off based. They hold signs that say "welcome visitors."
"It was a UFO... I saw it! It came down from the heavens! We've got to greet our space allies." "Yes! There's here to increase our technology and INT!" "I have two belly buttons!"
Division 12 vans set up near the affected area away from this craziness. They start to run the SpiritNet service to monitor the area. A van that looks like a van from the electric company opens up and Division 12 officers pull out probes from the R&D Department to amplify the van's spirit net. The commander of Division 12 gives orders overs the earpiece COMM.
"Units secure the area for the probes to investigate and report any abnormalities. Eliminate any spirits that are in the area, questioning when possible."
Elgoog continues to cover the story with a generic anchor in a suite and blue tie.
"...and police are advising citizens to STAY AT HOME. There should be nothing to see in the area of East City. They have the area of the gas explosion under control and are rescuing any and all victims from the resulting blast. Civilians are urged not to crowd the police and to let them do their work. Geologists are saying that t's okay to go back to sleep. The worst is over."

Grinning he thought of his way in. Buildings had multiple entrances. And from where he was standing if he could get into the building he was leaning against he could come out on the other side. From there it's just a matter of avoiding the cops. He walked down the alley, smirking when he spotted the fire door. Summoning the Devil's Teardrop to his hand he drove the tip into the space between the door and the frame. Shifting his weight he pried at it. He'd have to hit the latch, or just destroy the door. Drawing the blade back again he thrust it forward with all his might, grinning as he felt the sword sink in. Once more prying he slid it open. Stepping into the building he looked around. It was some kind of cafe. He wasn't paying much attention to the name. Once in he turned, closing the door as quietly as possible. He'd sheered right through where the latch would have caught. But unless someone came along to try and open it, it should appear to still be closed.
He tossed the Devil's Teardrop aside like a tool no longer needed. With the ability to summon it at will, it wouldn't be needed on his person. He opened the front door after peering out the windows. With the crowds in an uproar the cops had their hands full. Slipping through the front door he made a dash for it. He pulled a disposable camera from his pocket, grinning. If he was arrested they'd find Goranova after a brief search. But they'd have to catch him first. And he was beyond a normal human. He was a demon hunter, still in training but a hunter none the less. It was his job to deal with situations like this that the cops were, apparently, not equipped to handle.

[Ingel: Dark Chaos] Now that he was in East City, Ingel began to move down the side walk, heading in the direction of the explosion. As he moved down the side walk, he reached into his coat, moving his hand around to his back pocket before pulling his hand back out and holding up his police badge " I'll probably need this tonight. " Ingel said to himself as he slipped it back into his pocket. Though he was off duty, he always carried his badge around so he could use it when he needed. While moving down the street, Ingel glanced around more as he worked on making his way to the explosion site, as he walked, he heard the same voice as before, the man from before had come on the TV's again and was talking to the people, trying to keep every one calm so order could be maintained. Picking up the pace, Ingel made his way to the site of the explosion and slowly came to a stop as he looked at the crowed of people that had formed around the taped off area. Now that he was on the scene, he scanned over the crowed of people, your typical gathering of people wishing to see what was going on, Ingel couldn't really blame them, he too wished to know what happened though he was here for more important reasons. Deciding against going directly to the police first, Ingel decided to check things out from the outside of the crowed. Pulling his gaze away from the crowed, he looks up over them at the haze like dust that floated around the area. With a shake of his head, Ingel looked away and began to move, his eyes scanning the crowed and surrounding buildings as he started making his way around the crowed.

Moskau snoozed away gently. Gentle was probably the last word that could be used to describe the two large, wolfish dogs that stood guard over the bed of their sleeping master, though. The noise of their deep snarling, however unsettling for other listeners, seemed to be a noise little Moskva was used to, as when they began to growl like any number of boulders falling down a mountain, she merely rolled over and stuck her thumb in her mouth. The one on the left, Goerbbils or Fury, seemed like your average German Shepard crossed with a wolf and glowered next to his caramel and white brother (who seemed marginally more good natured) for a few moments before asking the intruder, "What is your business here, Capitalist?" The spiritually aware would be aware that these are no ordinary dogs.

Finally I am able to get the jeans on and a white t shirt to cover my upper body. After getting on my socks, I look around the room for my cell phone before crouching and finding it under the bed. For a moment I think to call either Hosaka, Ijin, Natsuki, or Beat to see if they felt the quake as well, but instead, I decide to send a generic text to all of them reading, "hey, did you feel that?" It was probably a dumb question but I was pretty sure no one was asleep after something like that. After the text is sent, I stuff the cell into the pocket of my jeans and then make my way bcak to the door. After getting to the door, I step into my shoes and then walk outside towards the garage. Making it to the garage, I notice that my bike had fallen over as well as several things in the garage. With a sigh, I complain, "aw man." Reaching down, I pick up and dust off the motorcycle and crouch at it to inspect it and make sure nothing was injured. After looking it over, I mount it and start the engine. It was still working as normally and the engine roars to life, sputtering its echo in the quiet garage. I walk the motorcycle out of the garage and to the edge of my drive way and then start to pick up speed to enter the streets. 250

The large demonic male sits on the ground and grips the controller in an akward fashion with both hands leaving deep grooves where his fingers wrap about it. As the conclusion comes and his defeat is granted, an eye twitches as a very unsatisfactory frown comes to his face. "This is not real fighting," he murmurs in a low deep tone in complaint. Suddenly the world rocks and there is a large feeling of energy coming from nearby. His master falls upon him and he catches her. She stands up and then walks around. Standing to his feet, the gives a dismissive look at the stupid device that he could easily kill if he were able to battle it one on one. Aside from that, it felt as if something was wrong, thus he becomes occupied with the new development. He looks to his master who heads to the roof and takes on following behind her. On the rooftop, he stands with his large arms crossed at his chest and notices the area from where the energy signal had come. With a nod, he answers his master, "such a thing is child's play." Scooping her up, he tosses her over his shoulder in a barbaric manner, crouches and then rapidly bursts into the air heading to the location pointed to. When the building his reached, his large body lands on it with a thud causing the ceiling to crack slightly. Standing up, he lowers his master to the ground to allow her to walk freely.

My gentle and kind welcoming, befitting a kind elder brother, is rewarded with a rude greeting from two rather.. large, animals. My first instinct is defensive; that I would need to protect the girl. But looking at how they hold themselves, between me and her, and the mention that the girl happened to own some 'puppies', I figured these were perhaps them? When the hell did they get here? I mean, I was expecting them soon, but I didn't know they had actually arrived. Was that other woman here, or had she already come and gone? Either way it didn't matter. I was being challenged in my own room, and by talking dogs. As if my spiritual awareness didn't already make it obvious they were less than normal. I frown, and don't really feel like explaining myself. The little girl mentioned a password, but I didn't pay any real attention to it back then. They should probably realize this was my domicile, since my smell would be all over the place, but perhaps that hadn't occured to them? Either way, I certainly didn't feel like getting into another fight, but without having the password, that may not be possible. I think for a second before remembering something else the little girl had said. My hand reaches casually into my back pocket so as not to seem like a threat or a suspicious individual and pulls out a small box. It was something specific I had gotten for Moskau, but it may very well work here. Shaking the container up and down, the words "Pocky" would be visible across the front face. "Moskau mentioned one of you liked this stuff. Which one of you is... 'Stalypoo'?"

At the sight of the rectangular box, the slightly more friendly white dog's defenses broke. The snarls came to an abrupt stop and gradually, his tongue began to hang out as he threw the canine equivalent of a smile. Knowing what would happen next, the other dog began to protest, "Wait, Goering, no... ugh, he's the enemy. We have to wait for him to get too close then eat him... and you know those things aren't good for you..." "Oh live a little..." the white dog said, smiling as he walked towards the stranger. "This guy is harmless. Master Moskva could probably kill him twice before breakfast in her sleep." Sitting obediently at his feet, the white dog greeted the student. "Hello, since you know my preference in food, you must be a friend of our master's. My brother can get a little bit stiff sometimes. My name is Goering, but you can call me Stalin... or Satan, either one." Goerbbils stood in the back stoically, still somewhat mistrustful. Wrinkling his nose, the Shepard reflected on the poor smell of the room, especially near the computer. "Tell us, do you intend to harm our master because the great one has so little discretion as to make friends with the likes of you?"

As I had hoped, the sight of the box worked as a sort of icebreaker. The white dog seemed deeply interested in the contents of the box, so I assumed he was 'Stalypoo'. His companion begins to protest, but it seems like the other pays him no mind as he steps forward. The assumption that I am little more than chump-change in comparison to the small child comes up, but I pay it no heed. Most people think their masters are invincible, so it was naturally they thought like that. Of course I had no intention of ever finding out, as it would be immoral of me to challenge the one under my care to a fight like that. When the white, friendly one introduces itself, I open the box and pull the first stick out, offering it to the rather large beast. "Stalin or Satan, huh? I'll remember that." Whoever named this one was pretty creative.. I wonder what people would think if I was at the park with the dogs and Moskau and said, 'Moskau, we're leaving, go find Satan!' or, 'Moskau, where's Stalin? We need to get going!' The looks I'd get would be.. interesting. Either way, I have a responsibility to introduce myself. "I'm Hotaka Kaito. You can just call me.. whatever you like." Despite being friendly, the darker one in the back, as one might expect, is rather antagonistic. Insisting on insulting me again, with that "with the likes of you" comment, he stands far away and seems to not trust me yet, despite his friend giving in. Hell, this could be part of their strategy; get close to eat the food I've brought, then attack and 'eat' me, like they said they were supposed to. "I'm not the type of person to harm a child. I'm fully prepared to protect her if need be."

[Lance: Dark Chaos] ---Events before explosion, leading up to the explosion. Lance hums lightly to himself, looking down upon the street from his building perch, his eyes wondering a cross the area in search of something to play with, idly sniffing at the air. While sniffing at the air he slowly turned his head as he scanned over the side walk across the street. As his eyes met a figure he looked over it. When he seen the person was male he let out a light growl of annoyance. " Aww, looks like Lancy wont find anything here. " The voice rang out in his head. With another growl, Lance slowly moved away from the edge of the building and began to make his way across the roof. Before he could make it to the edge of the roof, something caught his attention and caused him to stop dead in his tracks as he lifted his head some and sniffed at the air, the scent of a female quickly feeling his nostrils, causing him to grin in a wolfish way. " Ahh, looks like we found something after all. " The voice said and Lance nodded in response as he made his way over to the edge of the building and looked down upon a female that walked down the side walk below him. As Lance looked down upon the female, he crouched down, getting ready to jump down upon her. " Aww, you wanna end it so soon? Why don't we follow after her and see if she leads us to some of her friends? That way we can play with more then just a single one. " The voice said, causing Lance to pull back some as he looked down at the female, nodding faintly in agreement. Lance watched the female, allowing her to get a distance away before he began to follow after her. Lance continued following after the female until something happened, a large explosion in another portion of East City caused the whole city to shake and rumble, the female that Lance had been following became scared and started to run for safety. Lance, who had been on his way descending a building so he could finally end this little hunt, lost his grip on the building and fell from the third story of the building, crashing into an alleyway, the ground shaking a bit longer before it finally stopped. Now that the shaking had stopped, Lance began to climb to his feet " What in the world was that Lancy? " the voice said as Lance stood up fully and let out a light growl as he began sniffing at the air, trying to get the scent of the female again. But something had changed and he couldn't get her scent any more, this made him more angry, causing him to growl more as he looked off in the direction of the explosion. What ever had happened, caused Lance's fun to end. The voice began laughing in Lances head " Ahaha, look like Lancy don't get to play with tasty female. " Lance let out another growl which was quickly followed by him hitting the wall next to him as the voice continued mocking him. As he gazed off in the distance at the area where an explosion had taken place, Lance began to wonder what had happened. Curiosity getting the best of him, Lance jumped onto the side of the building and climbed back up onto the roof. " What, Lancy boy gonna go see what made him lose his play thing? " As he listened to the voice, Lance began quickly moving across the roof, jumping from the roof to the adjacent roof before he began on his way. As he began drawing nearer to the explosion site, Lance slowed down a bit as he made his way to the edge of a building and came to a stop, glancing around before he looked over to where the explosion had happened.

The white dog first ran his tongue slowly down the length of the plump, extended stick before him, paying special attention to the gooey, sweet head and savoring the taste before taking a bite. "Om nom nom... Protect 'her'?" The other dog cut him off hurriedly, "You? Such a scrawny little human? I've had fleas stronger than you. You couldn't protect her against a kitten." The white dog finished the rod off and swallowed hard, licking his lips. "Please, sir, can I have some more?" Continuing, the other dog was beginning to work himself up. "If something does attack, please, PLEASE stay out of the way. Our master is a skilled fighter and she doesn't need to be tripping over a useless young pup." Stalin rolled his eyes. "Oh brother..."

A world of doubt is placed upon my shoulders by the two dogs as if I were Atlas. Well, actually that should be a 'sky of doubt', but that does not get my point across. Either way, the fact that this was coming from two young dogs would make it seem infinitely more annoying and disrespectful. But, of course, I was not one to let these things get to me. Instead of throwing a fit or fighting back with words, I would simply accept their opinions. What these little ones thought wasn't my concern. In fact, I hoped they would never accept me as being a capable fighter. If they never did, it'd mean I'd never have the need to really protect the child. If she could live a life like that, that'd be great. "Young pup, huh? Alright." There were still the slight marks of the recent confrontation I had gotten out of from the middle of the Lower Commons, like the cut under my eye and the slight bruises I had, but they were nothing serious anyway. The white politely asked for another, so I gladly obliged and gave a second. I wondered if the other one wanted any, but until it asked, it would not receive. "So.. how long has she been sleeping? Or, have you not been here that long?"

The white dog seemed joyful at having another one of those delicious sticks thrust in his face and met it eagerly with a sucking mouth and a lapping tongue. Goerbbils looked back at the sleeping Moskau, who wiggled a little bit in her sleep, murmuring, "No, daddy... I don't want to get married..." as though it were a line in some nightmare. "She's been asleep for some time. You see, containing all those powers in such a little form is quite taxing to the soul..." Goering fell down, snapping the pocky in his mouth in half as he smacked into the floor. Similarily, Goerbbils had to brace himself and dodge a few falling objects. "What the... an earthquake? In this city?" Moskau awoke with a start, apparently unclothed from the waist up and upright in the bed. "What? What's going on?" Looking left and right, her red eyes settled on her friend and her two dogs and gradually faded back to purple as the ground finished its protests. "Oh... fuhrer-sama... you're home..." "Fuhrer?!" the dark dog barked in confusion. "Him?"

As I walk, my gaze shifts on the haze that seems to surround the area in an odd manner. Hearing my name called, I turn around to notice my other two teammates standing near a Division 12 van that was being unloaded with equipment. An athletic and petite female frame contrasts the muscular jock type to her side. They are both dressed in black uniforms much like myself with their various equipment armed on them. I make my way over to them with a casual greeting as the two familiar figures consisting of the always caustic Letty Mia, my previous Lieutenant from team gamma as well as Blake Blotcher, a Lieutenant of team Delta. “It looks like you’re just getting here, Asei,” Blake greets with a grin across his face, “that a long drive from Gothstone?” Looking to Letty, I inquire, “anything so far?” With a shrug, Blake turns his attention to the young woman as she shrugs and shakes her head stating, “there’s about to be an announcement soon. R&D is setting up something.”
It isn’t long before the announcement comes and we are given orders via standard issue earcoms. Letty speaks with a bit of annoyance in her voice as she comments, “he says to secure the area, but there isn’t anything around.” Blake confers, “whatever did this is probably long gone by now.” They speak back and forth for a moment as my attention shifts around me. There didn’t seem to be anything out of the normal, but then again, if there were, I probably wouldn’t be able to see it. Unlike my two teammates, I hadn’t the ability to see spirit based entities. I could only see spirits if they had a physical host, such as a possession type. I walk away from the conversation to speak with the other team leaders to figure out who would be covering what areas. After a short meeting, I return to the duo and on returning to my team, I interrupt their conversation stating, “We’re going to clear the east. Radio if you run into anything and lets stay within 25 yards of each other for the sweep.” A disgruntled look comes from the spicy female due to the fact that I interrupted her, but with a smacking of her lips, it goes away as and we begin to move out. 392

Little form, huh? That makes sense. Despite this dog's apparent rudeness and dislike of me, he came across as more of an intelligent animal. Something of a thinker, perhaps? The other one seemed more kind, but more simple. Not necessarily dumb, just one that was more relaxed. That was definitely something I could respect. My eyes move to the little one resting on my bed, wiggling around cutely. It was funny, that when I was level-headed I didn't want to purchase her, and when I had that shit in my brain the only things I wanted to do with her were indecent ones, yet ever since I picked her up, I'd been more concerned with protecting her innocence. Maybe I was feeling obligated to in order to make up for my mistake of even going through with the deal in the first place? But, my self evaluation is interrupted with what at first feels like a light shake. Then, rapidly, it picks up and feels as if a giant picked up the dorm and began to shake it as if it were a tic-tac case with the last one stuck at the bottom. I murmur something along the lines of "What the hell?" And look around as school books tumble down from counters, and bits of the ceiling crumble and fall as well. It lasts for a short moment, but its effects were still felt. I couldn't even remember the last time there was an earthquake here at all. It was rare, and with today's technology we should've been able to predict it coming a mile away. I spot Moskau almost instantly awaken and shoot upright, 'ignoring' her lack of clothing. By the time it had ended, I was on my knees at the side of the bed checking her body out for wounds. The dog seems surprised at the nickname she deemed me worthy of owning, but I don't really have time to deal with that right then. "It's just a pet name." Was my short answer before turning back to Moskau. "Oi, you're alright, right? No scratches, bruising, or pains, right?" I was currently unaware of how undressed she was, rather overrun with worry for her well being.

Dwem was wakened the phone as just being able to fall asleep again. Dwem was clearing his mind looking around as he shook the cobwebs from his head. Grumbling Dwem got out of bed and made his way to the phone which was still beeping the one of several rock songs he chose when he got the phone. Though he did not recall it right away recalled his little sister actually picked it for him and placed it along many others as selected ring tones for his phone his parents got for his birthday.
Making it to the Phone, he looked back and realized he only walked up along his bed to his work desk in his room and it seemed to take forever. Taking a breath reached out to pick up the phone. Missing a few times, he noticed his family servant coming up with some hot tea and something to eat. Picking up the Phone placed it in Dwems searching hand.
Smiling once, he had it in his hand Dwem looked up a Dajiatoma thanking him. Placing it to his ear, he responded with a greeting after clearing his throat.
“Hello, who’s speaking determines who speaking on back. “
Looking at the Phone seemed to consider the fact that no one responded for a moment. Right as he was going to put it back onto the receiver, he heard a voice respond.
“Hello Mr. Mark Nasackia. This Mr. Nasackia is it not. “
Dwem had to think for a minute as he reached into his fridge next to his desk pulling out a cold Mountain Dew. Opening it and pouring it into the class on his desk took a drink before speaking.
“Yes it is. May I ask whom I might be speaking to by the way? “
There was a bit too much silence before they responded.
“This is Mr. Goshiato your publishing houses Chief Editor. I was in a tight spot and figured to give you a call. It seems no one else was willing to take up the job. Therefore, we wonder, as since it seemed you never seemed to be asked before now I figured why not. Would you look into writing a book about the Governments Division 12? How does that sound. “
Thinking it over Dwem considered it for a moment as he was about to laugh aloud but he was luckily able to bite his tongue before he did. Taking a deep breath Dwem consider the idea and responded after a moment. However, right before he spoke the man seemed defeated and was given up.
“Never mind Mr. Nasackia I understand you’re not interested. Please forgive the interruption. Good night then. “
Dwem suddenly woke up as the Caffeine finally hit him as he quickly responded.
“Hey it’s like in the middle of the night. Let me wake up before you make up my mind for me. I will do it. I will need any help I can get with getting in touch with them or is this all un Authorized and such. You better not be getting me in trouble with this little man because you will ow me if I do. “
The person seemed to cheer up as he told him about the event in Metro City and he should look into it.
Dwem took it into thought hanging up the phone Dwem got completely wakened up with another Soda and ate his mid night breakfast before showering ad moving along as he got dressed. The whole time Dajiatoma pulled out his things to be ready to leave as the driven took the things to the car. Dwem seemed fully awake went along his way to the Sedan and got in as the driver Gelding simply seemed to consider him for a moment but understood Dwem felt that he could open a door on his own and get into the car.
After a few moments told Gelding to take the road through the Academic District towards central and step on it. He must already be late if he was not the first Writer he tried to take this odd assignment. He had the time to kill so why not look into it at least. The car pulled out of the driveway, made its way onto the road, and was gone on its way. Not really watching too much he would swing by his Editors home in Central and pick up a information packet and get on this as quickly as he could.
It dint take long for them to arrive at the Academic are and turn towards the area in central where his Editor lived. Hoping the person had what he needed for this, as he knew it would be hell if he dint. These Government types were tight asses and calling mother for a favor this early in the morning would be suicide to say the least.
Soon enough arriving at the tall building with a man at the front when Dwem arrived getting out he was warmly greeted.
“I am glad you decided to accept this assignment. Though I know you are do your own thing free lance Mr. Nasackia let’s see where we can help you to get started shall we. We got a tip that there is something of interest going on but we can be of sure as of yet. ”
Getting into the car the Editor as the car took off towards the area cordoned off by the Police.

Saga - Title: dark chaos
Time of Day: Half-Hour Past Midnight Location: Saichuushigai City, Earth Board: Global
The vans, cars and people of Division 12 get to work on the chief's orders. The R&D dept surround the edge of the large crater in the middle of the affected areas (oh yeah, div12's not IN the crater, they're set up around it and stuff. Not sure if I mentioned that before xD). The dust and haze that surrounds the border of the affected area moves. It drifts inward into the mouth of the crater. The air further from the crater gets clearer and the dust moves in and rims the bowl of the crater where it starts to collects into shining spirit particles. These particles waft in the air for a few moments and start to "build" a large dome over the crater (basically haze from earlier post becomes shiny blue spirit barrier makin a sphere with the crater... visible to all races and those within a distance of bout a block or two). The block wide crater become capped with a blue transluscent three story high spirit barrier (its not the type of barrier that stops people from going in).
The barrier gives off a subliminal pulse. This pulse expands through the entire city and sends a signal to spirit based entities and possession spirits to draw them to it. The peaceful shikou spirits that float in the skies like clouds stop and then start to float to the barrier. They mesh in with the barrier and merge with it (no, if your a spirit char, the barrier will not absorb you... >.> xD). The ground near the affected area starts to shake violently. Suddenly, the ground inside the crater begins to break apart and fall in on itself. The dirt falls away and a sea of black and purple swirl under it. Demonic spirits, zombies, broken clay golems, animal yokai and ogres from the western forest rise from this. The slower demons move slow, but the yokai, move quick. Several winged yokai hurl balls of fire at Division 12 van and it explodes loudly. Demonic shrills and screeches pierce the air. Spirits from the crater portal attack Division 12 that surrounds the crater. Division 12 is caught off guard and react trying to counter attack. They soon find out that the demons and spirits near the barrier are in a berserk mode and are a class stronger than they normally are with regenerative abilities.

ooc @ all: no need to rush to the crater xD the fun'll come to you

Adrian waited, watching from an alley, his camera raised. He took picture after picture. He was sure that while normal spirits probably wouldn't show up, the zombies and physical beings at the edge of the crater would. He watched them patiently, taking picture after picture. Then all hell broke loose. He took more pictures as the van exploded and the demons began attacking division twelve.
Frowning he drew Goranova from it's sheath, his eyes closing as he muttered a small prayer. The blue crystal blade rested in his hand as he waited, watching as he thought. He had to figure their game out first. If the officers were really the 'good guys' in this situation he would help them. But he wasn't so sure. The spirits seemed to be fighting back. The cops in this situation seemed to be in the wrong. But he would wait, and watch. When he felt the time was right he would join the fight. But he wasn't sure which side he'd be on.
He was extremely conflicted. He wanted to help the humans who were obviously not ready for the attack that came. He was supposed to slay demons, that was what Sierra had trained him to do. But in this situation it wasn't as black and white as she was used to. Demons attacked innocents, but when kami join the oni in attacking, who was right? It was something beyond Adrian's ability to decide. He wasn't a leader. He was a novice hunter, though he'd never all himself a novice. And on the battlefield, moral guidance was something very few people could find.

My lips part as I was about to say something else but turns into a yip as I am quickly scooped up and tossed over the big demon’s shoulder like a sack. An irritating frown comes my face and my eye twitches at the feeling of his hand on my thigh. The long coat flips over my head and night air rushes up my skirt. This was not what I had in mind. There is a thud when we land and I am let down. “That wasn’t very graceful but at less you didn’t just drop me.” This is mostly muttered to myself as I fix my hair before walking to the edge of the building and pull out the binoculars. “Stupid dust cloud… I can’t see anything from here either… little odd though. I would have thought if it were a gas explosion there would be a few fires. The cloud spread suggest a…” I blink for a moment and pull binoculars from my eyes after I hear my phone beep at me. I reach into my coat pocket to pull it out and flip it open. “What an idiot…” I take a moment to text Seiki back.
“hai! hai! there was a big boom and a few windows in my apartment were busted out! so im going crash at ur place! make sure the bed is warm”
I snicker to myself as I hit send. Looking back up I notice the dust cloud moving. “Oh that is something new… better record this.” Holding my phone up, I start recording formation of the blue barrier. I blink for a moment when I feel the pulse pass through Domen and all of the bad stuff starts coming out of the crater to making things explode. My eyes look back at Domen, before looking back at the barrier. “You can go if you want, just don’t waste to much energy on the flies. And don’t get into any binding spells like last time. That left me wide open for an attack. I would look bad on your part if your Master was hurt because of something like that.”

[Ingel: Dark Chaos] Ingel continued to make his way around the crowed. He was starting to grow a little antsy, wanting to see what had happened in the tapped off area. Ingel finally decided to make his way closer so he could see what was going on in the crater. With his mind made up, Ingel moved to the crowed and began to make his way into the mass of people, pushing his way through the group. When he heard someone comment about a dome that was forming at the crater, Ingel came to a stop and looked up at the dome that had formed at the crater. Looking away from the dome, Ingel begins to push his way through the crowed again. With the faint sounds of an explosion, Ingel stopped again and lifted his head some, looking towards the dome " What was that.. an explosion? But why would something blow up? " Ingel said to himself, glancing around some before he began to move again, pushing his way through the crowed. As he came closer to the front of the crowed, he began to slow down until he finally came to a stop at the edge of the crowed at the police border. Now that he was at the taped off border, Ingel could see some police officers guarding the taped off area. As he looked at the police officers here, Ingel slipped his hand into his pocket, where he had put his police badge. With a reluctant sigh, Ingel pulls his badge out of his pocket and steps forwards, stepping up to one of the police officers at the taped off area. As he came forwards, Ingel lifted his badge, informing the police officer, he too was with the force and was here to offer assistance.

[Lance: Dark Chaos] Now that he had came closer, he rested atop a building next to the explosion site, looking down at the large crater that had been created by the explosion. Looking away from the crater, Lance looked to the people that had gathered around it " Look at all those tasty things. If only we could play with them all. " The voice said as Lance slowly looked over the crowed. From up here he could see not only the people, but also what was going on at the cater but his attention was focused on all the people that had gathered around the tapped off area. He didn't see the dome that was forming around the cater, his attention still fixed on the people, however when the pulse began, the one inside him was drawn to the dome. With something pulling at part of him, Lance shifted his attention from the people to the crater and the dome that had formed around it. " Let's go see whats there Lancy boy. " The voice said as Lance gazed at the taped off area. Slowly, Lance began to move along the edge of the building as he moved closer to the crater. When the ground inside the dome began to break apart, giving way to the black and purple swirl under it Lance came to a stop and watched, resisting the urge to keep going to the dome. Instead, Lance watched as creatures began to come out of the hole in the ground and attack some of the people that where doing something around the crater.

Dwem arriving at the edge of the crowd cut off by the police he put on his press credentials with the name of Lenjia Kawasaki. His Non Fiction credentials. No one at the Publishing house new of his real name other than the two pen names. Looking around he attempted to get the attention someone in charge.
Moving towards the area where it seemed the brass was he offered his credentials to them.
“Hello I am Lenjia Kawasaki as I think you may have heard of me. I am have been asked to write a book on Division 12 and wonder if I could persuade you in letting get a look for my research of them in action. “
Looking at the man he was willing to either offer money or use his mother’s name as a contact to break his way into the place. Then again knocking the cop out and sneaking in would be nothing new at all for him. He just had to get the story .

The communication flickers then goes dead. Damn! What's going on over there? I slide my hand across the window and it moves to the side a bit to let me out onto the ledge. The window is moved back into place and secured. Hovering in the air, I look at the blue light that slowly starts to dissipate. Sitting on the ledge, I wonder what exactly could have caused such an explosion. "Now isn't that odd?" Taking another sip from my smoothie, I enjoy the berry deliciousness and tangy bite of lime. Mmmm... soooo good! Suddenly, I feel a sharp tug at my chest. What the hell was that? I feel an energy reverberate around me that feels like a drum beat magnified by a hundred amplifiers. The faint blue light in the distance seems to shimmer as I find myself floating towards it. I have never had a reaction like this before. It's as if I'm being called to the light. Don't they always tell you in the movies, "Don't go towards the light"? The closer I get to the light, the stronger the pull is. I vanish from sight and appear about a block or so away from the epicenter when I don't feel the draw as much and I stop atop a roof.
What the... a dome? Energy... spirits moving towards it... Division 12! The rumors are legit then?! Wait... so what if all of this seems to add up? I'll wait until I can... wait...
Sitting down my smoothie cup, my hands come towards each other and energy swirls into an orb. Focusing on the area around the dome, I try to catch a view of what's going on there. Oh my! Now isn't that interesting. So many demons and yokai and... what the hell are those ugly creatures? I need to compile a mobile list of dark spirits so that I can always know what I'm dealing with. Judging by the uniforms of the humans around them, those are definitely Division 12 members. The dark side has some impressive numbers. Perhaps, I should lend a helping hand. Then again, I should probably keep my distance right about now. I want to see how things continue to unfold.

The young girl nodded at Kaito as something seemed urgent very suddenly. "I'm fine, nothing fell on me or anything. This bed's quite cushy if I must say so myself. We'll have to buy a cushier one at a later date." The girl's voice changed suddenly as she addressed her dogs, barking in a harsh, uncharacteristically deep tone, "Goerbbils! Goering!" The dogs stood at attention suddenly, front and center on either side of the concerned student. "Zivilsachen!" Quickly the hounds moved. They seemed to know something was up. Drawing the standard purple dress from under the bed and the matching gloves their master usually wore, they helped her into her wardrobe as best they could. Adjusting her hair, the young girl mounted the white dog and nodded at her caretaker, explaining in hurried tones, "There's something up outside. You probably shouldn't follow, I'd rather you not get hurt. Gehen wir, rüden." Without another word or further explanation, the dogs and their master disappeared out of the front door of the apartment.

Hotaka Kaito! Heaven's Closing In; To Save The World of Chaos! Here And Now Begins; The End Of a Million Sorrows!
I relax a little when she says she's unharmed. That was a load off my mind for sure. If something happened to her, the guilt that I would be hit with would be immense, as I've accepted my role as her caretaker, despite what the dogs may think. My relaxation at her wellbeing, unfortunately, quickly dissipates as she suddenly addresses her dogs rather harshly. The voice was one I had never heard from her, nor one I could have imagined her producing. She again speaks in a language foreign to me, and I don't quite understand what's going on until her dogs reappear with her clothes. At that point, I realize how nude she was and turn away, giving her the privacy and respect a lady would deserve. Once she finishes and hops on the back of her white dog, I begin to wonder what she's intending to do. When she tells me she feels something off outside, and that she was going to leave without me, I felt the distinct pain in my chest of a father whose child was going to war. While it's too soon for me to feel like I deserve to harbor such feelings, I can't help it. Despite only knowing and caring for her for a short time, it was the same situation as having a pet. The very day you accept it into your house, it becomes a part of your heart and you begin worrying about it. But of course, before I can object, she's out the door. I get up and attempt to make chase, but the sound of my cellphone in my back pocket stops me. Looking at it, I see Asakano had left me a text message. I read the short one-liner and take note that he too felt it. At about the same time, a service message pops up on my Realm2.0-compatible phone from the Elgoog Corporation, giving the information that it was a "gas explosion" in East City. If Moskau herself said something was up, then I wouldn't believe it was just a gas explosion. Plus I too felt somewhat uneasy about this whole set-up. Taking a moment, I gather a few things and throw them in my jacket's pockets. Small things like bandages, the disinfectant cream I had bought, and small juice boxes. I had the desire to be prepared, and I couldn't exactly think straight since I wasn't exactly that medically savvy. As well, I grab my cellphone and respond to Asakano's earlier message. "Yeah. I'm going to East City now. Maybe I'll see you there! Maybe it'll look real cool?" The message is upbeat despite my situation. Once I finish it and hit SEND, I throw it in my pocket and run out the dorm, fly down the storms, and begin running to try to find Moskau quickly. I had a license, but no car, so I'd need to rely on my feet. Luckily, I East City was.. somewhat close, and with all the cars driving in one direction, I knew exactly where I was going.

My helmet is on, my body leans forwards and the wind passes by on all sides as the motorbike slides through the night streets navigating the broken stop lights, building pieces and such. With all the vibrations of the bike, I would not be able to feel my cell phone vibrating in response to Hotaka’s message. Up ahead, I notice some strange stuff going on in the area of East City south of Downtown and near the shopping region. After making it close, I slow down and start to notice a large crowd gathering and what seemed to be some type of special event. I notice the police blockade of the area with them trying to keep the general population out of the area. After slowing, I bring the bike to a stop at the rear of the populated area and frown observing these people, “who would WANT to go into a messed up area?” When I hear yelling about UFOs and demons it makes me think back to the time when Hotaka, Beat, Ijin and I went into the forest and all the strange stuff happened. Remembering them, I reach to my cell and notice that I had a text from Hotaka. So he was on the way. Replying, I send the message back, “cool, I’m already here and so are a lot of people.” I close the phone and pause for a moment and it goes off again. I open it up and read the message from Natsuki and my face turns read. “You nut!” I murmur caught off guard by the reply. Stating it like that could cause a misunderstanding. Before I have a chance to reply back, I hear something that sounds like an explosion from a few blocks away. I look towards the area that was blocked off. What was really going on in there? 310

The large man leans back up and folds his arms at his chest once more as his master shows her appreciation. “Though you are heavier than a normal girl your size, you weight is nothing compared to my might,” he assures her. There is a pulse from the barrier that is created and Domen’s head perks up as if something has caught his interest. He takes a step forwards and then stops, to turn and look at his master. She tells him he can go, but gives no instructions on what he is to do once he goes. He shows a bit of discomfort in his face when she mentions about him being caught in the Tenguu’s bind, but he nods and assures, “it will not happen again.” He turns his attention back to where he could feel several entities fighting. Since there was no target, he could just target whatever was strongest there. His body crouches slightly and then springs into the air, thrusting off from that position and heading into the night skies towards the blue barrier dome.

As we move out heading towards the area between that of the cops, who serve as crowd control, and us at the affected area, I look up and notice something odd. The haze that had surrounded us in the middle radius of sorts seemed to be coming towards us. I pause for a moment and take a step back as it approaches. A bit wary of it as are my comrades, I raise my arm over my face as the haze passes, but it passively passes by and heads towards the mouth of the crater near where the Division 12 vans were set up. I turn as it passes, finding it odd and soon notice the change in color as it starts shining and building a dome of sorts. I frown watching this, knowing that it wasn’t a good thing. “I’m getting a bad feeling,” Letty informs us. Blotcher seems to share the same feelings as he grips his chest, yet I felt nothing. From that, I knew something spiritual in nature must have been going on. “Get ready,” I say as I watch the dome complete its formation. Soon a lot of things happen Letty and Blotcher yell something about demons. We all reach for our guns and then one of the vans explodes. According to the dialogue within the division, we were under attack by a horde of demons; I could only see about half of what was coming at us and it was at times like this that I wished I were able to see spirits as well. The sound of gun fire picks up as the two to my side and others fire back at the spirits with much of my focus on the physical based possessed ones, golems and zombies that I could see. With the initial wave while we hold position and fire back with pistols, the realization that these were not normal beings, starts to set in. 324

Watching the activities is slightly boring. But I don't want to be pulled away and called a civilian. That would ruin my fun if anything happened. I duck again as some officers pass my location. Jigoku hums in amusement and I flip the blade my middle finger. I know I shouldn't treat it like a person but a lot of the time it feels like one. Like I have someone with me. I roll my eyes and continue to watch as Div12 set themselves up. I then perk as I catch a faint glimpse of Jyn. I stand up and keep to the shadows of the alley as people continue to rush around to keep the crowds under control while in turn setting up stuff to monitor the crater. My eyes search for Jyn and I have a bit of a fan girl moment as I watch him work.
I mentally slap myself. Keep it together Shiori. Not the time to be going goo gaga over your boyfriend. Even if he is damn sexy dressed all in black. I sigh and rub my temple. I really have to keep my hormones in check. Jiku pulses in warning and my eyes finally flick to the crater. The hair on the back of my neck stands on end and I glare. I don't like this at all and neither does Jigoku. I feel my shouchou awakening out of instinct as spirits begin to gather.
"Not good.." I hiss just as the earth quakes once again. "Shit.." I hiss, stumbling a bit before I ground myself. Then I hear the wail of demons and nearly slap my hands over my sensitive ears, my eyes looking toward the crater. "Mother fu-" I cut myself off as explosions are set off. My time of watching is over. I unsheathe Jigoku and then pull out my seireikendou, holding it easily in my other hand.
"Time to play then.." I whisper as the black lines of my shouchou solidify on my skin and I run out of the side alley. I can hear scream from those in the crowd who can see the demons. But some can only see the other beasts. Lovely. I rush forward and leap onto the hood of a cop car before running along it and using it to launch myself up into the air, taking out one of the youkai with my blessed blade before I land in a couch among some Div12. I straighten and take an offensive stance, but then peer over my shoulder and see Jyn.
"How many of your squad can see the demons?" I shout to him, only to whip back around to take off the head of a zombie with Jiku. I look toward the crater. "Fuck.. This is not going to be pretty at all."

Somewhere within the rounds of gunfire being traded with all manners of attack on the opposing side, Shiori appears with sword wielding and zombie slashing. So she was nearby. A portion of me would naturally be surprised to see the girl I’m dating out here and slashing demons casually, but then again, a much larger side knew better than that. There was a huge bug zapper in the middle of East City. It would draw any spirit-killing vigilante with the skill to get around the police. The question she asks me as she fights is unique as I call back, “most of them.” With my skills and rank taken into consideration, I was among the half in Division 12 who could not see spirits, but for that half that could not see demons, they had special standard issue helmets, which included visors with spirit vision and tracking abilities. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the helmet unit. I had been informed that only grunts and rookies needed them, so in a way due to my pride, I screwed myself. There is an explosion to our side, as I raise my arm over my face and look out barely able to see wavy outlines of something there, but not clearly. “Tsk,” I frown, dual wielding pistols yet again to the targets that I could clearly see. “It looks like they can regenerate,” I give the notice to Shiori, not appreciating the “no shit” that comes from my shot gun toting teammate, Letty. 252

So this is Division 12 in action... taking another sip from my floating smoothie as I continue to observe the actions within the orb, I nod in impressed fashion. I think I'd like to work with them some time in the future. While most flee, they stand in fight. My enthrallment in what I'm seeing keeps me from interfering as I prefer to observe their tactics. So they work in three or four person teams. Seem to have some groups using pistols and some using automatic weapons. So Division 12 members are able to view spirits. Why are they using pistols now that I think about it...? There are a lot of these dark fiends, so why not use automatic weapons. Perhaps their marksmanship is better served at shorter ranges. Also, considering that the dark ones don't seem to be using ranged attacks, it might not be that bad. I lower myself into a meditative position as I focus on the pool of vision without actually looking at it. I have been trying to figure out exactly how to influence the world within the vision. I know that I will have to conserve my energy, so my smoothie cup is depleted before the cup sits on the rooftop next to me and my attention shifts to the vision. The sounds of gunshots being very audible in the night sky as well as from the Crystalvision pool have heightened my senses. I scan the area until I find a civilian fighting with Division 12 officers and I become amused. I first think that this female might be a demon that is hiding herself from them, but she seems to be helping them. Oh wow, the dark ones can heal themselves. This is getting more entertaining by the minute. I wonder what's going to happen next and how Div 12 plans to deal with this developing threat...

Most of them? Great. I hope they have another way to see the demons. I then hear something and look forward to see the beasts picking themselves back up. "Oh come on!" I say in frustration. I shift my stance a bit, holding the blade in a relaxed manner, even if I'm everything but that. Jiku hums in worry. He doesn't like any of this. But I don't have much of a choice but to fight. I can't just sit back and watch people get hit. I move forward and take the head off another beast, only to leap back from a strike of another. I look up to see demons flying. I leap back from another attack and my feet skid along the broken street.
"Might want more men to focus on the youkai that can fly than these ones on the ground," I bite out as I yelp, a demon diving down at me. I lift Jiku and barely block the claws that had sought to swipe my head from my shoulders. I take a horse stance to brace myself as the beast bears down on me, screeching horribly and making me flinch.
"Die fucker," I hiss as I bring up my seireikendo and swipe its head off. I grunt, pushing the dead body away from me. Pain then filters in my mind and I look at my shoulder, lines from the claws welling up with blood. "Dammit.." I hiss, praying the claws don't have any kind of poison in them.

The demons picked the best group in the city to pick a fight with, yet still, this entire situation was odd. There were hordes of demons rushing from a pit in the ground in a rushing manner. I wondered what the objective of all of this could be. There didn’t seem to be a leader demon giving orders of where to attack since it was an all out rush. As they had the advantage of getting the jump on us, Division 12 would have the advantage of being more organized. But still, using a car as cover wouldn’t help if they could blow up cars. I find that the demon assault start encroaching on our position causing me to signal to the other two with me to shoot while pulling back to the safety of the alleyway and buildings behind us. This is also voiced to the sexy zombie slayeress as well. There was plenty of rubble and broken buildings from the initial blast that caused the crater, so that would serve as cover for the time being. The demons might have the number advantage, but if we could entrench ourselves effectively, we could do a lot better. I voice this to the two beside me who back up as they fire. A release is pressed and a two clips fall from my pistols. I slam two more clips into place and resume firing. I wanted to keep them at bullet’s distance, since I was pretty sure going hand to hand with a zombie wouldn’t be in my best interest. Hopefully the division would have a “big gun” that could do area-affecting damage in a scenario like this one.
As this was going on, I got a feeling. Some times it feels like… some-booodies waaatching meeee. Oh oooh oh. 300

Uh oh... I guess there a few too many for that group. Oooh. That group over there isn't doing too well either. She's got a sword?! I like that one with the pistol group. Oooh, look at him go. So killer-like the way he drops his clips and reloads to keep firing. Just not going to be enough. Good at least he's smart, they're falling back. I suppose I could lend a helping hand. Something's wrong here. Staring into the pool, a car moves to cover the retreat of the sword wielding vixen and her comrades. As the dark ones get closer, the car would explode in a larger than normal blaze pushing towards the demons instead of in all directions. Oh! It worked! So I truly have reached a level of mastery with my Mind Fire! How pleasant! The flames closest to the group would spell out, "Hello, agents" first followed by my true message, after all, this was my introduction, so I definitely wanted to be polite. The message is simple: "Trap the portal... Figure out the purpose..." I couldn't spare many flames so my messages had to be left to interpretation to some degree. I am not a fan of such, but it seems to be quite unavoidable. I figure if they are able to understand the message and follow it, it should buy me ample time to try and find out what this really about. This is simply a matter of throwing worthless grunts at the enemy to keep them distracted. They aren't targeting anything specific. What intel could I have received over the last few weeks or so that would explain this attack. Think, Psyre, think!

Hotaka Kaito! Heaven's Closing In; To Save The World of Chaos! Here And Now Begins; The End Of a Million Sorrows!
It has taken me a bit of time, but finally, I arrive at the line between where the Academic District meets the East City. There were traffic jams and general chaos as one would expect, so it took me even longer than usual. Regardless, I had made it to East City, and didn't notice anything overly strange. I hadn't exactly been expecting some giant spiritual centipede to be crawling out of the ground, or the fist of an angry god to be descending from the sky, but I figured I'd see something. Well, what's more, I wasn't exactly at the epicenter of it all. I was still maybe a half-dozen to a dozen blocks away, so I had some distance to cover. I'd need to make it quick, since I figured that was where Moskau would be headed to. She has that odd ability to read a situation, or otherwise sense things, so wherever the action was was where she would be. And that was precisely why I needed to find her. But how could I start? I highly doubt I'd be able to just march right through to the middle with all the police cars I've been seeing rushing through. Stopping to think for a moment, I feel another buzz from the phone at my hip and reach for it. Asakano? He had sent me another message I see.. and it turns out he was already here. Then, perhaps I could find him first and go on from there? It was a start, I suppose. "I just got here, where are you exactly?" It was a short and simple message, using natural proper grammar since that was just the kind of person I was. Sticking the phone back in my pocket, I end my short moment of respite and begin to run again, once more following the path lined with other people and speeding cars.

Post count:1 Word count: 239 Ooc: kinda lazy entrance since i only just recently found out there was a saga going on today >_>
So through all the things that had occured so far in her lifetime, this has had to be the most bizarre of them all. this day she was having such a nice day and decided into taking the bus to get to the shopping district that was near by where the current crater is located at. What is she gonna do now, she merely sighed and rubbed her forehead as she seemed a bit aggrivated by all this activity, it had ruined her shopping. So she had to stop early and put everything in her car. It was stuff with stuff that she had just so happened to have found. But this had occured after the earthquake, she was upset by the early ending of her shopping but her curiousity has also peaked in its interest. So she of course wanted to go find out what was going on. Many more events occured which randomly brings us to what is currently going on. For now she was merely arriving closer to the taped off area where the cops were holding people back from getting in any further. Damn, I need to get in a bit closer somehow... thats what she had thought to herself when she had watched form a distance. she stopped in walking and looked around searching for a pathway to get past the crowd and past the cops in order to observe what is going on.

A grin comes to my face after Domen takes off into the night sky. I continue recording with battle between Division 12 and the demons coming from the crater till the group gets pushed into an alley. “Damn it now I have to move again.” The recording stops and I put the phone into my coat pocket before turning way from the edge of the build and heading down the stairs. Reaching the front door I pause for a moment when I see something odd off the side. Walking over to it and scowl at black sword lying on the floor. “Domen, our so called demon hunter friend is somewhere near by…” Reaching down I grab it by the hilt and lift it up. Damn thing is heavy. Why someone would use something so barbaric was beyond me. “If he gets in your way, just kill him this time. It isn’t like he is worth anything just irritating.” The sword falls back to the floor after I let go of it and walk out the front door. I look down the street at burning car and horde of demons and other good stuff. My head go behind my back and come back out with a silver pistol as I cross the street. A flying yokai lands on the top of a build and screeches, causing me to look up as I walk along the sidewalk. Anther one lands and then a third, “Oh this isn’t good.” My pace stays the same as the three sets of eyes watch me and there is an exchange of screeches between the three. The beads around my wrist keep them from getting close to me but one screeches and a ball of fire forms in it’s mouth as the other two take off. “Oh, shit!” I take off running and dart into a alley as the fire ball explodes when it hits the sidewalk.

Bid farewell to your blood stained past. Or the light will find no hold!
The words echoed in his mind several times before he set his jaw, letting his resolve come. He couldn't let anyone get hurt. The cops may be in the wrong but they were still human. And he had a duty to protect them.
"Seven bright stars in the sky I see, seven for those that watch over me. Shine forth your light and protect me." he chanted, like a prayer as he walked from the alley.(Senbonhoshi)
Sword of light in hand he grinned, rushing forward, into the fray. He wasn't stupid. He had to watch where he was going, and to be careful. His blade flashed out in a wide arc, toward the nearest zombie. Zombies were slow and stupid. In one on one combat a normal human could take a zombie as long as they didn't panic. It was when they were in large numbers that they were truly dangerous. His eyes didn't stay on the zombie though. He couldn't tell that something was making the creatures here stronger. But he was a swordsman of the highest caliber. He could best every member of the Kendo club, or rather the members he'd actually fought. In other words he could beat the living tar out of Satsu and two other members. But what was sad was it was all at once.

Seven had been awoken by the large rumble and now she flies very high in the sky over the city looking down at the big blue dome of energy that called out to her and made her want to go to it. It is very dark outside and she was sleeping, but now she was away. The wind is chilly and her frilly dress was floating in the sky wind. The six other voices in her head say that they want to go to the dome. “But it looks like a lot of people are fighting down there.” A voice tells her, “you should go. It’s calling to us.” She shakes her head and frowns. The voices say “let’s just go now and then if you don’t like it then we can go away. We can play with all of the people down there.” Seven smiles and says “okay” and then flies low until she gets to the ground in an alleyway where it is dark. She walks form the alleyway to the large crowd of people. It looked fun like it was a fair or Disneyland with so many excited people around. She sees the police blocking people and not letting them go. She tries to look past the police and hears a man who says that he is going to write a book. She looks at him and says “I like books” and smiles tilting her head.
