The Transformation (Quest) Empty
PostSubject: The Transformation (Quest)   The Transformation (Quest) EmptySun Sep 13, 2009 1:31 am

It's just been one of those days... Rein thought to herself as she looked at her notebook, adding up the ammount of sales she had brought in with her drugs. It would be enough to pay the month's rent, she was sure. Tomorrow would be a better day, being friday and the day that a lot of her clients got paid. Most of her clients had been broke today, perhaps the reason why she brought so little in. That was alright, tweakers, pot heads, and needle junkies would be banging on her door as soon as checks were cashed and they could bum money off a loved one or something. She was hoping needle junkies would have been more plentiful today, would have made her more money because those are the ones she tended to rip off. Why anyone would willingly stick a needle in their arm was a preposterous idea to her.
Slowly, she sat back, wore out from looking over the numbers. What was she stressing over? It's not like this was the first time this had happened to her. So she wouldn't be able to pay rent first thing in the morning, at least her land lord had no idea what she was actually doing. Her eyes shifted towards her clock and she heaved a sigh, she had now been up for four days, eight hours, and forty-two minutes. She hadn't snorted any coke for quite some time now and was feeling like she was more than capable of going to sleep now.
Pushing herself off the couch, Rein walked into her bedroom and paused, looking around at the weird symbols she had drawn on the wall and the circle of candles on the floor. She had completely forgotten about the ritual she was going to put on herself today. She crossed to her nightstand and picked up a copy of 'The Human Mind: The Power Unleashed' and began to flip through it, glancing briefly over the contents. It was something that she was into, demonic and spiritual, and she knew that, if what this book told her was true, it could come in handy with her when she was out doing her sales. Goodness only knew that the cops around her had already dealt her a lot of damage, perhaps it was time that she was able to see what was coming. If this worked out, she could stay in the game and no longer have to worry about being caught, at least that was the hope in it all. Afterall, the police got fussy when you tried to sell illegal drugs to people and got wise to the fact that you were a dealer, usually information found out through a narc or a druggie client that was busted and given a chance to talk their way out of the charges. Snitches, oh how she hated and despised them... snitches end up in ditches, was her philosophy.
After she had flipped through the pages a few times, briefly scanning over the images and content, she finally sat the book back down and turned to the circle of candles. She pulled her lighter out and began to make her round around the circle, lighting the candles as she went with the lighter she held in her left hand. When she was finally finished, she stopped and watched the wax melt, hitting the floor. As long as her apartment didn't burn down, she would be more than alright, or at least that is what she figured. Who wants to burn alive anyways? No one, that's why Rein often caught her victims in their homes and burnt it down while she had the doors barricaded. Seemed like the best way to do things, in her personal opinion, at least then she wouldn't have to worry about them tracking her down and killing her later and all over the sizable amount that they had come to owe her. Idiots, if you're going to do the shit then at least be able to find a way to come up with the money for it. After all, she was able to, why couldn't they?
She slowly stripped of all her clothing and tossed it on the bed. Leather, all leather, just the way she liked it with the exception of her lace panties and bra, always a good way to get laid if you found yourself in desire of the simple pleasure of life. Not that she got it often, just only when she felt horny as all get out.
After she was stripped over everything, she laid down in the center of all the candles and crossed her arms over her chest with petite sized breasted, just enough to fill an A cup, almost enough to move up to a B. Her eyes looked at the ceiling overhead for a moment, her dark lined eyes almost unable to see the drawings on the wall with the little amount of candle light she had. A soft smile crossed her lips and she began to whisper chants to herself as she closed her eyes, it was the way she normally put herself to sleep. Chants, little things that people all around the world had come up with, even monks had chants of their own but these were the darker chants. It was not long before Rein fell into a deep sleep, helped along by the sound of her own bland voice.
It was early in the morning when Rein was suddenly woken, the sun had yet to rise. It was something startling, she didn't even know what it was but her skin was slik with sweat and her breathing was abnormal. She found her body was stiff and that she couldn't move her neck but she was able to move her eyes. It didn't take long for her to suddenly realize something, her body was floating completely off the ground. Her eyes widened but she quickly closed them and continued to chant to herself, trying to keep herself from losing what she was doing.
Her body suddenly fell down the two feet that it had been floating above the ground and crashed to the ground. She paused, letting out a slight groan as she turned her head left to right, looking about the room. There had to be a way that she could do that again, there just had to be. She thought over all the possibilities of how to do it again and came to only one conclusion, she had to remember how she had felt when she was originally doing it.
Rein closed her eyes again and started whispering softly to herself, after remembering how she had felt. As she whisper 'light as a feather floating on air' she began to feel that sensation overcome her body. She continued to whispering it to herself for several minutes before she stopped, feeling that sensation coming over her. The next thing she knew, she didn't feel the floor beneath her back anymore. She opened her eyes and saw that the ceiling was closer to her than it had been when she had closed her eyes. A soft smile crossed her lips, a rarity for her, of course you had to think of who she was and why she wouldn't smile often too. It had worked! Even to her own amazement, it had worked!
Of course, she didn't quite understand the power behind it all neither, she just knew that, if she could harness the power, it was going to do her a lot of good in her deals. If she got better at what she did, she would be rolling in the dough in no time. She wouldn't have to worry about the cops, nor would she had to think about life inside a cold cell anymore. Perhaps that should be incentive for her to get out of the line of business but, well, she loved it too much.
Slowly, she closed her eyes and thought about her lowering herself back down to the floor. It happened, in a slower fashion than it had the first time. She lay there for a moment, her arms crossed over her chest with a smile on her face, for a little bit before she decided to sit herself up. She looked about her room for a moment before she stood, putting out the candles before the wic decided that the candle was melt enough that it could burn up her floor. She then picked up the book that had told her about this little event and flipped it open, curious to find out what else she could do with her new-found power. The only thing she could hope is that she wasn't hallucinating after all that time of being up, she just wanted to make sure she would go to sleep after it all.
As Rein continued to look over the information, she came down with a sudden, urgent feeling. She had to pee. Flipping the book closed, Rein gave a soft sigh before she stood and grabbed her robe, which had been hanging on a hanger on her closed bedroom door.
Once it had been slipped on, she made her way into the bathroom and that is where she relieved herself of what needed to be done before she walked back into her bedroom. She laid down on her bed, bringing her book close to her before she closed her eyes and smiled. "I think there is much that I can be taught..."
