Fall to Pieces (Isabella)

The arguing couple might have been an appropriate target. Unfortunately, the woman stormed off in a fit before Shou could make up his mind and the man stood fuming, before climbing back into his car. The image of the vehicle exploding suddenly came to mind, a blast of fire and waves of smoke to fume off the destroyed thing would have certainly been enough to trigger the destructive nature of the demon. Of course, these were just thoughts, and the car peeled out with the man shouting something to the female who decided to go by foot. Shou stood up from his crouching position atop of a roof edge, a vantage point he often came to with the purpose of spectating the humans below.
With each passing day it proved less difficult to supress and control those murderous impulses, the cravings and desires of some chaos in the streets. His fires had always been the ultimate catalyst to such things, always satisfied with the carnage they were capable of. Humans always seemed to have a mixed fear and fascination of the thing and to control it at his whim.. he could inspire so much more within them.
The oni stepped off of the roof's edge, allowing himself to drop towards the ground. Before his feet would come into contact with the pavement of the sidewalk, for surely such a fall would come to damage him from impact alone, discs of fire exploded into being to catch him (flight). As the platforms disappeared, his boots came to touch down on the ground once more. The evening was uneventful so far, but the sky was in the process of dipping away into the horizon. Hopefully once the night fell, things would get a little more interesting.

Shou couldn't have known just how swiftly things would have picked up, starting with the crash and explosion of the very same vehicle he had debated on destroying. His crimson eyes widened, taking in the sight of the destruction, before they darted back to the source. What sort of chant had that been, anyways? The language was unknown to him, but the effect had been very similar to one of his own magics.
The destroyer in this case was a woman, taking in the detail of the body just as she had sliced an opening into the human's throat to silence the screams in the air replacing it with the sound of one drowning within their own lifeforce.
Shou witnessed the very things he wished he himself had done at this point, though he always made it a point to avoid that kind of attention, especially if it was only at the expense of two human lives. Besides, once he started.. it became overwhelmingly difficult to stop the destruction and thats when the situation did become a little too dangerous for his tastes.
As good a company as the woman seemed like she would provide, since they seemed to have similar interests, Shou enjoyed the challenge of fighting the demons that came to stray within the Lower Commons. Besides, if she was civil words could come later. Though one usually didn't enjoy being attacked. "Infernal flames!" Shou would call out, thrusting both of his hands outwards in front of him, his palms facing downwards. "Swirl and contain!"
The flames would dance at the woman's feet suddenly, before uprising and growing into the air, spinning violently in a vortex that would surround her.

The oni came to be beyond intrigued now, as his flames simply vanished from sight as if sucked into some void that had appeared above the woman's head. She had stopped his flames? Never before had he witnessed something that could so easily surpress the fires of his very soul. It caused a smirk to come to the man's expression. When she came to finally speak that shred of english, it seemed some conversation wouldn't be beyond them. "That language.. it's pretty sexy." Shou had to say, followed by a snicker. He then thrusted each of his hands outwards to his sides, his head tilting a little bit lower to cast a darker gaze in her direction.
"The fact that you can stop my fire.. that's something.. but what are your limits?" His body began to glow, a red aura that encased his body before it flared outwards into dark crimson flames. Rings of those very flames began to shoot out from him, settling on the ground, decorating the whole area. Shou suddenly remembered his surroundings though and the last time he had attempted this move in such a public place. He cursed lightly, and lowered his arms. The effects seemed to cancel, the red rings on the ground dissipitating. Indeed, he had to figure a way to control those kinds of impulses a little more as he had come rather close to losing it again.
When she asked if he wanted to play, he was reminded of Lance. Just how many beings out there saw these kinds of fights as mere play? To him, his mentality was solely focused on the hunt, and the woman before him had been his intended prey.
The technique she had used certainly discouraged such thoughts, though. "You're something.. different from what I've seen so far." Shou mumbled lightly, more entranced and far more interested in the woman's method of speaking, those purrs that seemed to weaken his battle resolve. "Boruha Takashou. You use the fire like me."

The sudden disappearance of the woman didn't startle him as much as her adrupt conjuration in front of him. Those golden eyes seemed to pop up just before him, looking into his crimson own. Shou fought to keep his ground though, usually one to flinch or jump from that kind of movement of the other. To show that kind of weakness could often be fatal though.
Again, he spoke in that language, though only a few key terms that he could more or less get the idea of as they lay in the context of a language he did understood. The fact that she spoke japanese was something of a comfort, of course, because if they had that language barrier it was very likely they would have been fighting just moments later. The smile on her face allowed him to believe that she wasn't an enemy but very far from it, and the tone of her voice seemed to stir some uneasy feelings within him, feelings he didn't really wish to experience this early meeting her.
"Isabella, hmm?" Shou asked, fighting to keep his composure. Never before had he seen such measure of beauty from a demon, though, especially in the company of Grunty most of the time. Ah, yes, this woman seemed much more pleasant than that drug dealing junkie. "Your performance there.." The oni continued, glancing away from the woman and towards the car that was still steadily under flame. "Beautiful work."

Red, was it? It seemed to be an appropriate enough of a nickname, considering both his hair and eye color, though it was new. The oni had taken time as a human just to adapt to the name 'Shou', so to suddenly be bestowed a second name.. this woman surely was different from any he had met before. She didn't seem at all bothered to lean in close to him, taking in that personal space, though he didn't allow himself back down. It wouldn't have been the first time he came to be this close to the luscious thing that was the female body.
"Thank you." The oni came to say, tilting his head back a little to look at the woman from a different perspective in both angle and thought. "You're not from Japan, though.. are you?" His questions held little interest at this point, spoken rather weakly, his thoughts elsewhere and far more perverse than he would care to admit.

The demon snickered as the woman neared towards him, about ready to release one of his fyreballs before the words of her strange chant came within his hearing. Shou's arm twitched, having tried to force itself forward to launch his attack. Something was suddenly wrong. His arms were stuck, trapped in the position of those limbs extended to his sides. The fyreballs dissipated as his concentration on them slipped, far more concerned at the fact that he couldn't seem to make a single ounce of movement. Growling, those arms continued to twitch, continued to fight against whatever invisible restraints had come to form to prevent his movements.
She was responsible. "What the hell is this?"

Her taunting nature continued to fuel the flames of rage that built within him, though there wasn't anything he could accomplish in this state. Whatever spell she had casted, it had him bound in place. When the woman spoke once more, Shou had no understanding of that exotic language that flowed from her lips, but he was entranced by it anyways. The woman possessed a manner about her that had been unseen before by the oni, an implied forwardness that kindled other fires within him as well.
"You'll stay?" Shou questioned, unable to help himself from laughing a little though his chuckles still held that edge of anger. "Good! So you'll be around for me to kick your ass.. I don't like being toyed with like this!" When she leaned in closer, the man tensed only to feel her lips brush against his own in response. The oni wanted to tear free from these binds, though he wasn't sure if his sincere desires were that of wanting to kill her or to mate.

The feel of her slender and moist tongue was enough to offset any violent thoughts that he previously held, convinced that the flare of intensity within was inspired of lust now. When the bind on him was released, his arms dropped back down to his sides and he gave a sigh of relief, stretching out his limbs with the reobtained power of movement.
"You can help me, huh?" The demon snickered lightly, leaning back a bit to stretch out his waist and back. "Are you saying your fire's better than mine or something?" His crimson eyes looked towards her, challengingly. Though she had all ready displayed that she was stronger than him simply by keeping him in place, he took great pride in the flames that he was able to conjure. He had only met one other who seemed to advance him in the arts, but even to this day he strained to become fully in tune with the flame.

"Fire is fire..?" The oni was almost offended by the remark, disbelieving that one's flames could be measured equally, especially to his own. He supposed she made a point, though, since she continued to best him in ability, making that clear when she had appeared just behind him in what would have been the blink of his eyes. "Tch.." The oni whirled about in the air to face her once more, his brow furrowed, though no longer throwing attacks her way. "You want to help.. but why?"

"Hmph.." The discs of flames beneath his feet disappeared and he allowed himself to land on the pavement of the ground. Shou sighed lightly to himself. The woman made a good point, he had to admit, but most of that could have been contributed to the level of attractiveness that she held. It was rather difficult to disapprove of such ideas, especially if they included being around her. Hell, she practically gave him open invitation to those fantasies that all ready played within his head.
But the lion in him wouldn't allow some other to train him. Especially not in an art that he all ready prided himself upon. "I don't need your help." The corner of the oni's lips upturned into a wide grin. "Destruction and chaos are fun, yeah, but don't think I can't accomplish these things on my own. Someday.. I'll make this whole city my personal playground. If anything.." The demon snickered, "You can help and we can play together.. but I don't need any training, if that's what you're implying."

Shou cursed inwardly. Of course he didn't have a place, not at this point anyways.. he was still barely in his early stages of pushing drugs, buying a good sized package, selling to be even and have a steady supply of the stuff for himself. Someday, though, he envisioned himself having a mansion somewhere with bodyguards and that whole deal. There'd even be a grand-sized bed that he could invite this demoness to and they could get into that kind of play. Someday.
In the meantime, it wasn't as if he were deprived of such sexual acts. There was Grunty, and the occassional human that he could easily find at Club Hype. Now was the time to exercise the will power of the lion and not give into that weakness of man. "That play sounds fun. But.." The chaos began to bubble to surface once more. After all, he faced an opponent here that was clearly much stronger than him.. to ignore such a challenge would have been doing himself an injustice. Shou suddenly took a step forward and launched a swing at the woman's face. "This seems funner!"

Shou wouldn't allow himself to lose face when the proper reaction hadn't come when he landed that blow. She took the hit like a champ, but he was never one to boast about his physical strength.. his power came in the form of flames after all. Gritting his teeth, she spoke in that language once again that was unknown to him, but he replied with a chant, "Infernal flames, gather and strike!" Thrusting the same arm to his side, a fyreball appeared just before the palm that faced outwards. When she exploded into several flies, his eyes followed those movements, whirling around suddenly and blasting off the spell where she had come to reform. The bind caught him once more though, stuck in a position with his arm outstretched towards her and yet again helpless to move. "Damn.. this trick!"

"Bitch.." The oni muttered, wary of the dirty method of binding. "Of course you wouldn't understand the fun of a fight. This is bullshit!" The oni shouted, his body tensing as he attempted breaking free from the hold that was on him, but no clear amount of movement was made. As she started her chant, he growled, "This isn't fair.." The black flame sprouted frmo her and entered his body through his stomach, his eyes suddenly widening as it felt something ripped within his body. "Ka.. huk!" He spat out blood then, his body trembling lightly from the pain that seemed to come from within. "What.."

The oni blinked, his arms falling down to his side when he had been freed of the bind. She mentioned humans coming and he glanced in the direction that she seemed to move away from. Looking towards her once more, he couldn't help but offer a weak smirk. "Well, I hope I get to see you again.. you're strong. Maybe when you're in the mood to fight, though.." The oni grumbled, grabbing at his stomach that still seemed to be in a great deal of pain. Whatever she had done, it had served to, "Fuck me up.. jeez."
