1. I understand what you are saying Kaz. Its just an suggestion. I figured I would put it out there. One never knows unless one tries.
2. Yes Latent Revitalization is meant to be long and hard, but so are most of the other paths. So why should they have shortcuts?
3. If it is a stupid suggestion, then so be it. But no need to attack it. Shin edits content of suggestions to suit his purpose anyway.
4. We should perhaps move this to a different thread.

But the reason I didn't come up with one for Latent revitalization is because when I was bouncing ideas off of Psyre he said not to and I tend to agree with that choice because you're not learning anything. You're just hitting 'the wall'.

The reason being for not including that path is that it's supposed to be a long, difficult, drawn out path where you pay for each ability. Nothing about that path was meant to give a discount. That's why I told him not to make one for that path.

Response to #2 - You can have a helper/advisor/tome/guide that tells you how to do a job, but what would teach you how to pay experience for what you already have?

Paths = You are paying for something that you are trying to acquire.
Latent = You are paying for everything that you got for free b/c you want more stuff.

To me at least, that is the significant difference. A Storyline Char starts off with all of this stuff for free and a normal character does not have anything that will give them a +10% bonus to their exp aside from quests which a Storyline character is allowed to do. For the amount of abilities that SL chars start with, the only thing that they can't do is pick up paths or train, but the time it takes to get a Normal char to SL level takes MONTHS due to need of T-EXP for all of their T-EXP.

Now for this suggestion, I would also say that the character needs to declare that they are going to use the item from the beginning of the RP and actually use it throughout the RP. This will negate the whole "oh wow, I've got 10k words in this RP, so lemme boost my PWC by another 1k." Also, it should only be applicable to the user/owner, so even if I show my Tome of Awesomeness to Jenn or DKC during our RP, they need one of their own in order to get the bonus.

I don't like any of it; I say scrap both ideas.

1) Question: Then why can't a normal character perfect their inner strength?
2) Latent Revitalization isn't a real Path, there's just nowhere else to put it.
