The first day of hell

Kuna had not given the test much thought since he had been sent into the past and damaged during a harrowing trial to learn basic elemental magic. He was still pretty upset about that, but the press of life continued on. He had classes and this appointment. He had exchanged his casual attire for a suit and tie since he was going to have a appointment with Megami who could be his potential boss. His pale blue eyes scanned up and in his mirror which showed a rather pretentious image of himself. "God, I look like such a gopher." He muttered to himself, glad that his parents were out of the apartment. He let out a sigh and left his room and locked up the apartment and took public transportation down into the metro area.

He stood in front of the same doors which he had visited on his errand for Izuya. Kuna took a deep breath before closing the last bit of distance and opened the glass doors and entered the lobby. His eyes immediately swept the lobby interior looking for that trademark pink hair, but he couldn't immediately pick her out. Guess, he would have to go too the receptionist. "Hello, my name is Inoue Kuna and I have an appointment with Shageki Megami about an intern position."

The receptionist would look at the boy. She was the cute perky type that always seemed to be in this kind of work position. But when he said Megami a bit of her sparkle died and she looked scared. She nodded and called for the gun toting scientist. But the line was not picked up. The receptionist lifted her gaze and squeaked, toppling over in her chair as she saw the demoness behind the poor boy and wanted to warn him to run for his life. Megami grinned and tapped his shoulder. "I told one of my boys to buzz me if they saw a blond kid walk in. Not bad looking when ya clean up," she teased him.

Kuna cocked an eyebrow at eyebrow at the receptionist and her reaction to his words. He was about to ask if he had said something upsetting for the young girl, when it was turned up too the eleven. "Okaaay." He would say before pivoting on his feet once he felt a tap on his shoulder. "Thanks." His eyes shifted over too the frightened receptionist was just recovering and looking fearfully in the blonds direction. "Do you usually attempt to instill mortal fear into all the employees here or is that poor girl just an exception?" He asked dryly. Kuna listened to her response of course blithely ignoring any type of torture the woman could put him through. "Where is the test going to take place?"

Megami found it funny that the poor girl was scared of her. It came from how she would chase some of her employees around with a gun in her hand when they fucked up. Old Lady Kyro didn't like it all too much. But it was tolerated because she had shown she could do her job and make them money. Megami would shrug in response to his question. "I've got a rep is all," was all she was going to offer him. But then he was right down to business and she rolled her eyes. "Lighten up. Pull your panties out of your ass," she quipped and started walking for one of the elevators, motioning for him to follow. "Come on, Goldilocks." She would press her thumb to a small consul on the elevator. It scanned her fingerprint and opened. She stepped on and waited for him to come with her.

He actually did not doubt that at all. Kuna cocked his eyebrow again at her crass manner in which she addressed him. "Yes, I will take that under advisement." The blond say once again in a dry manner as he followed her towards the elevator. His eyes drifted down to her rear end and drank in the sight. Might as well get something out of it anyway he figured. Kuna followed her into the elevator and leaned up against the elevator wall. A silence would fall before the two of them while Kuna tried to think of what he could say next. *If she is a gun nut like I think, then there is something to ask her about.* "So, what do you think of the new military trial models that are being put out for the sub-machine for secondary personnel?" He asked hoping that would spark some good conversation between the two of them.

She pushed the button for her level of the R&D department of Nyte Industries. There were rumors circling that Shiori was planning to expand on this and spread their influence in the realm of technology. Megami didn't doubt it. Even though Shiori was young, the girl had a mind that was not to be messed with. Megami would never want her as an enemy. She had seen a clip of Shiori at a kendo match. The girl was ruthless and deadly. She didn't show any weakness. Megami was drawn from her thoughts as the blond spoke and she brightened. "Complete and utter crap. Have you seen the point zero five accuracy lose that happens between shots. Pfft. As if I would allow such a thing to be effected. You get a hair off target and you might just fail," she said and the elevator stopped and opened to a lively floor. Megami stepped off and the boys in lab coats greeted her, one of the younger ones bringing her her coat. Sure. She was a bitch. But she was a good boss. "Yo boys. We got fresh meat testing.." she called with a feral grin as the men and woman all hooted in amusement.

"Some of the models are like that, but I think the Hakaisha model is a clear favorite. It only has a marginal accuracy loss, but its quite reliable if they can refine the model and make up for the accuracy loss, then they will clearly win it." He would say relieved that she had perked up from that little question. "What I am looking for is some of the more innovative models that run counter too the established traditions." He was about to say more when the doors opened up to one of the labs. Kuna would walk into it and listen to Megami talk about the new meat that had come into the grinder. He would give a polite bow to the assembled workers. "I look forward to working with you all."

The office laughed at how polite he was being. But it calmed them and showed they just might accept them among their ranks. THe workers here trusted one another. It was a close knit family in a way and Megami was the Mother Hen who oversaw everything. A pretty blond woman sauntered up, her shirt so low cut it should be against dress code. Her skirt didn't help either. She had a gun strapped to her thigh and had a feral smile like Megami's. Sexy yet a gun totting maniac also. "Nice too meet you. I'm Chizuri. but you can call me Chi," she winked and Megami seemed to pluck a gun out of no where and press it to the blond woman's temple. "You are not allowed to rape the fresh meat. He's a minor." she said and the blond pouted. "Aww.. No fun.." she huffed and sauntered over to her work station, slipping on a lab coat.

There seemed to be a lot of eye candy around, and they all seemed to like to be heavily armed as well. He guessed that they didn't have to worry much about sexual harassment, when you backed around a nine millimeter. "It is nice to meet you Chi." He was about to say something else but Megami pulled the gun at this time. "Note to self, pack heat to work." He would say not making mention of the fact that he was legal. "Note two she has a great ass, present company excluded of course." He would say trying to lighten up the situation, but he got the impression that it was all in light fun anyways.

Megami heard him and grinned and patted his back. "That's the spirit, Goldilocks," she says to him and motions him over and into an office. The office is littered with sketches and shell casings. Several guns line the walls and she sits behind the desk, a shot gun laying across the surface. She points to the single chair before he desk and holds out her hand. "I just need to run your ID first and then you can take the proficiency test on my computer since I hardly use this one anyway," she says.

He gave a slight nod of his head while following Megami into her office, which was a shrine of gun porn. Kuna would also come to make the assumption that all of the other's offices would be like this too other extents of Megami's office. He saw her outstretched hand and quickly dipped into his front pocket and pulled out his wallet opened it up, and he pulled out his ID. Kuna handed it over to her without saying anything while he took a seat across from her desk. He composed himself while waiting for her to run his ID check. "Everything check out alright?"

She takes it and opens a screen on her computer. She then somehow finds her blutooth on her desk and pops it into her ear and taps it three times. "Yo Ikuto. I got the ID. Ready your search," she says and begins typing in the information on the ID. If he could glimpse at the screen it would like someone else was controlling things and Megami was now just observing. A search engine pops up and flickers as it finds him within the city database. THings halt and Megami's eyes read it over and seems to nod slightly. She flicks her eyes to Kuna and smiles. "You check out, cupcake," she replies and gets to her seat and motions for him to take the seat she got up from. "Ikuto. Load up test alpha delta. Set it to Beta... Yea. Testting him for that. Gotcha. Thanks, kitty boy," she taps her ear piece before Ikuto can snarl at her. She looks at Kuna. "Ikuto will have the test some up. Physics. Calculus. Advanced Trig. Engineering factors in a sense. He'll see how much you know and be able to compile a result for me to work with," she explains and moves to the door of her office. She looks at the clock on the wall. "You got two hours, Goldilocks." And she steps out.

Kuna gave a slight nod of his head while listening to her. He got up out of his seat and took the one she had vacated, and he had to admit that with the first question that had come up he was totally clueless in how to solve it. He was just in highschool and a lot of the questions were pretty much university level. Kuna did try his best however using his limited knowledge to the best of his abilities to slog through the test. The blond finally finished the last bit of his test allowing him a bit of relaxation, but he was pretty certain he had bombed most of the questions on it. The two hours seemed to have passed by agonizingly slow pace, and it quite reminded Kuna of every single exam he had in except ramped up too the nineteenth degree. He raked a hand through his hair as he stood up wondering if Megami would come back in and tell him the results of his test.

She would be returning as he stood up. She had a tablet in her hands that was actually her main computer. Her eyes were reading something and she didn't look up as she moved around her desk and sat in the seat he stood from. "Not bad," she finally spoke and peered at him. "We'll need to educate you a bit. But Ikuto could see you were trying.." she lifted a finger and tapped the camera on it. "He was watching your brain patterns through this baby. Shows you have the potential to easily grasp the concepts once taught.." she pauses and looks down at her screen she is carrying. "I'll have to place you with someone for tutoring. But while you are being tutor you will be observing project and made to study the blue prints.." she stops and looks at him. "Unless you think it will be too much?"

"Yay for people looking into my mind." He would say dryly, but it seemed that he passed with the majority of the test to satisfy them. Kuna would give a slight nod of his head as he heard her rattle off the need for a tutor. "Nah, it sounds find. I assume that you will work with the schedule of my classes for when I have them?" He asked obviously knowing that they would given if they were offering him the job, they would work within his schedule. "So, who will I be working with?" He said hoping he might get to look at that blond again, of course with suitable protection. Kuna wasn't a big fan of being raped.

She smiles at his little 'yay' bit. The kid had a potential they could build on. But it was up to him in the end if he was willing to put forth the effort to develop and grow here. She nods as he asks about scheduling around classes. "You'll come here after school. We will give you a moment to do homework. But we will also contact the school to say you are beginning an internship with Kyro Corporation and to have them maybe trade a study hall for learning more of the mathematic skills you'll be requiring for some of the aspects of drawing proportionate blue prints and you'll be able to enter the symatics into the system to build a digital layout.." she stops, realizing she is rabbling. She grins and gets to her feet. "I think you'll do better with Ikuto for a tutor. But he's a grouchy guy. Though he is damn smart..." she pauses and thinks for a moment. She looks at Kuna. "Well... As long as you don't refer to him as a child... I think you'll be good," she says and mentions for him to follow her. "Uh.. He's a bit sensitive about it. He's an espir. Forced when he was a kid. So he kind hasn't aged and looks like he's sixteen at most. But don't let it fool you.. He's like twenty-three and wicked smart," she explains as she leads him through the lab to go see the illusive Ikuto.

"That all sounds good." Kuna said giving a slight nod of his head while listening to her, and he was slightly disappointed in hearing he wouldn't be teamed up with the blond. Instead he would get tutored by some sort of mechanical child. He gave a shrug of his shoulders. "Right, so no jokes about age and probably height as well. Are there any other things that I should be aware of to not set him off?" He would say mostly to himself as he slipped out of Megami's office and followed her through the hallways once more. She had slipped something he did not quite understand, the name espir."If you don't mind me asking but what is an espir?" He asked wanting to get an explanation from her before they met the kid.

She nearly trips on her heels when he asks what an espir is. But then she has to remember not many people have dealt with them. She knew only one other espir in all honesty. One of the Div12 captains. Only reason she knew was she helped design one of the weapons in that woman's body. She walks at a slower pace, giving them time before they reach Ikuto's little sanctuary that she personally gave him. "An espir is a human who has been surgically enhanced with machines... Umm.. Simple terms. Ikuto is like a human computer. He's faster and stronger than we are. He was made to be a weapon once. but he escaped. He's a nice guy once you know him. Also.. If he sounds like he is talking to him. He's not. He has a program within him he speaks with. Her name is Kisu. You might see her as a little sprite on Ikuto's computer screen. She sometimes likes to talk for herself through it." she explains.

It seemed strange that Megami would trip up at just him asking that simple question, which lent to the possibility that she thought the name was common knowledge, at least in her circle. He listened rather intently to what she had to say. "So, essentially his is a cyborg." Kuna said letting the information absorb into his mind, while Megami continued to talk. "Right, just assume its the computer and not him being crazy or anything like that." He gave a nod "Is there anything else I need to know before working with him?" Kuna would ask as he slipped back to get a better look at Megami's backside.

"IN a sense he is kind of a cyborg. But he is human. He is still himself.. Just better," she adds to what he says and shrugs. And as he slips back to get a better look at her ass she pulls out a gun and point it at him while walking. "Walk faster, Goldilocks. Not polite to stare at your boss' ass," she says and they finally come to a door and Megami knocks and waits. It takes a moment and there is some cursing within. "Oh.. And I don't care how straight you are. When we torment Iku and dress him as a girl.. Even you will get a boner," she adds just before the door is opened and a young teen stands there and glares at the Megami.

The kid wasn't bad I suppose. Gami would need to tutor him hardcore to get him caught up enough to even begin working hands on in any of the projects, even our simple ones. But what am I saying. I have to be labeled a fuckin' intern untill I work her a bit more. Gami explained it. It would be too suspicious if I came in an started in on things that should be well above me because of my looks. Not that I give a fuck.

'But you do..'

"Shut it, Kisu," I snarl and pluck up my coffee mug and sip at it. Least I get good coffee in my little 'den' as Gami-neesan calls it. I get to be one of their IT people at least. That's entry levelenough for the company not to mind. A sudden knock has me choking on the coffee I was in the middle of swallowing. I sputter and cough. "Mother fucker!" I finally snarl and get up from my nice chair and storm over to the door and nearly rip it off its hindges as I open it.

"What?" I snap, glaring at the pink haired woman who I call my elder sister to keep my identity a secert. My eyes flick to the person with her and I calm a bit just so I don't look like a complete asshole. "Seriously. I gave you test results. Why are you bothering me. I have a bunch of data entry to do without you barging into my office all the time."

Kuna just gave Megami a smile as she pulled a gun on him. "You say its impolite, but I say it would be rude not too admire a woman's body. Objection noted though." He would say bringing up his pace to match hers and followed her too the doors of one of the labs. Megami made a mention of cross dressing the person he was about to work with, but he seriously doubted he would have the reaction she was talking about. "Um, no I doubt that, but I will take it under advisement." He would say as they came into the labs. Kuna immediately looked down too see the espir, and Megami had understated how small he was. *He really does look like a little kid.* The hitorinji thought to himself. "Hello."

Megami seems unfazed by Ikuto's actions, quite use to his behavior. His moodiness was just a self defense mechanism. She knew this because she knew him a bit better than other. He was a good kid.. Man. Hell sometimes even she forgot he was about twenty-three. But that was the amazing healing factor of the espir. Even the chick in Div12 was way older than she looked. She smiles at Ikuto and points to Kuna. "I want you to tutor Goldilocks for me, Kitty cat," she chirps and Ikuto doesn't look too happy at all at this new thing being placed into his lap. But the look in Megami's eyes says she'll make him do it even if he says no.

The blond guy says hello and I wonder what the hell Gami-san is playing at. I narrow my eyes at her, suspicious. She is one of those woman who like to just spring shit on you and not care if you had plans before hers. I wait for her to speak and when she does my eyes widen for just a second then narrow again as I glare at her. She wants me to what?! As if I don't have enough work with what I do here. She asks like I'm just sitting in my office with my finger up my ass all day. I work from the moment I get here till its time to clock out. I want to protest, but the look in her eyes says I don't have a choice right now. Seems like she thinks the kid has some potential here.

"Fine.." I say and look at the blond. I hold out my hand, trying to be polite at least. "I'm Kurosaki Ikuto. You can call me Ikuto," I say and Kisu is zooming around in excitement. No one can see her but me or anther espir. She has pom poms in her hand and is circling Kuna's head and cheering. She's a dork sometimes, but she at least keeps things entertaining.

'Yay! New friend, Doki!' she cheers and I nearly smile as she does cartwheels on his head. Too bad he can't see her. I think he would be a bit embarrassed by the hologram of my internal program.

ooc: You can't see Kisu. She projects herself within Ikuto's mind so to him it looks like she has a physical body. Anoter espir would be able to see her because they would sense the program being used. Hope that makes sense.

He watched the interaction between the two of them, and it was clear that Megami was one of those hard ass bosses, pulling a gun on Kuna not withstanding. He just stood their patiently for the small fry to notice him, and he took the offered hand. "It is nice to met you Ikuto." He would say looking down at him. His gaze would sweep across the lab as he let go of Ikuto's hand. "So, are we going to be starting today, or will we just be getting to know each other for now?" Kuna would ask not knowing what to do at this point in time.

Megami smiles, thinking this was a great idea. Ikuto needed to hang around people more in order to meld better in society. She found him to be too much of a hermit. It wasn't healthy at all. She watches them both and her smile brightens as they shake hands. "Well I'll leave you boys to get better acquainted," she chirps and heads off back toward the main lab. When she vanishes around the corner they would both hear as she went off on one of her team and then a couple of gun shots followed.

He shakes my hand and I don't like how he looks down at me. Inside I bristle. Its not my fault I'm short. I pull my hand back after a moment and he speaks. I try to answer him but Gami-san interupts. I glower at her and she flounces away from us. But the moment she is out of sight I wince as the chaos ensures. Kami.. I wonder if this guy is ready to run for his life yet. I shake my head and sigh, stepping back from the door and allowing him room to enter. Gunshots fill the air and I feel a bit of a sweatdrop on the side of my face. That woman is insane.

"Kisu wants to meet you. So might as well let her get it out of her system," I say to him. When he would enter I would shut the door and walk over to a comfortable cahri and climb into it and curl up, picking up my coffee. The room is filled with monitors. Every screen has something different showing. This is one of the main computer rooms for Kyro Corporation. Since I can intergrate with the system I'm able to do the work of ten IT techs all by myself. The main screen would then show a petite chibi-fied girl and she would be waving at Kuna.

"Kuna. Kuna. Konnichi Wa. I'm Kisu, doki!" she chirps, her voice sweet and girly through the speakers. A little camera on the top of the main computer moves, Kisu controling it to be her 'eyes' in a sense.

"Note... She's a bit too perky for her own good," I say to him as I relax. She pouts on the screen.

"Iku-kun is so mean, doki.."

It wasn't Kuna's fault that he towered over the espir, so he would have to get used too Kuna looking down at the kid. He turned his attention too Megami who had interjected herself into the conversation before walking away. "Ah the sound of workplace violence." He would say dryly upon hearing the gunshots ringing out through the office as he took Ikuto's offer and entered his office/lab. It was all pretty much covered in monitors, which kind of had a creepy effect, but he kept his facial features carefully neutral. He would let Ikuto summon his digital companion, which turned out to be a chibi. "Its nice to meet you Kisu." He would say with a little smile towards the chibi image and turned to look back at the pipsqueak expir. "So, what are we planning on doing today?" He would ask again, and this time he hoped to get an answer.

"Pushy. Aren't you," I say as Kisu dances on her screen with a pair of pom poms. She's an AI. She has her own little quirks that honestly.. Have kept me sane all these years. If not for her. I probably would have killed myself the moment I escaped the mafia. I sit up a bit and I point to a chair in front of a computer that has a keyboard. I don't need them, but sometimes they have someone in here to help me with data entry.

My mind is linked with the computer and I bring up a lesson plan in one section of the math that he didn't do too hot in. Its a detailed lesson on how to properly solve the problem and check it. I make the printer print out a worksheet. "I looked up your school files. You should be about to learn this. Just do the lesson and the worksheet and I'll look it over. If you need any help in the solving process. Ask Kisu. She can see you through that webcam on top and help you solve it. I have a bit of work to finish and then I'll begin showing you how to do some simple data entry since you'll be an intern for Gami most likely."

"I don't think so. I just wanted to know if we were to start today, or if we would start up tomorrow." He would say simply, not wanting to offend Itsuko. Kuna would give a nod of his head as he stepped up too the printer and took the worksheet. It was a list of problems that he had been learning in his math class, which produced a mental groan from him. He knew that there would be work with this internship, but there was a difference to do homework in addition to more essentially homework. Kuna would take the seat offered by Ikuto and look up into the webcam. "Let's work well together Kisu." He would say plucking out a pen from on top of the desk and scanned down the first couple of problems. It was simple enough to find the answers for them, and most of the questions where much like the same, until he got halfway through the project. He would look up to the webcam and say, "Right, I am having some trouble isolating the unknown quantitative."

The little camera moves as Kisu controls it. She is watching her new friend as he gets through a fair amount on his own. She is impressed. he is in high school and most kids wouldn't even try to pay attention. Least that is her opinion, doki. She perk the moment he looks to her for help. The image on the screen smiles and salutes him.

"Kisu help, doki!" she chirps and on the screen would the equation and then Kisu would point out how he went through the problem in order for him to find the unknown and then in turn work it back into the problem to solve it. "You understand? Doki." she asks, looking cheerful. "Kisu explain again if Kuna-kun needs it, doki."

I can hear them as i work on a project from Gami. I sigh softly. Woman keeps handing me her data entry work and its driving me slowly insane. Hopefuly she piles it on Kuna and I'll be given a bit of peace. Though I believe that's highly unlikely. Woman loves to put a bit of hell into my work day. My earpiece buzzes in my ear and I tap it. "Kyro IT Ikuto," I say in a bored tone. I say the moment I hear the voice of some high pitched secretary. Twenty bucks says she is blond with a nice ass and a huge set of tits. Especially when she mentions who she works for. Yea. I really wish I had someone to bet and make money.

"Calm down. I'll fix it now. Bye," I cut the line and bring up the network on my screen and reset her computer's personal network so that she can open interoffice emails again.

Kuna wouldn't need another explanation from Kisu. "Thanks Kisu, but I think I got it." He would say finishing up the problem. His attention turned away from the worksheet to see what Ikuto was doing, but it did not seem to be really that interesting. He went back to his problems going at a much slower pace as he got into the tougher problems, and Kuna would occasionally ask Kisu for a refresher on certain principles that the problem involved before solving it. He finished up the last problem and rubbed the back of his neck to work out the kinks in it and gave a sigh of contentment. "Kisu would you be kind enough to double check my answers to see how I did?" He asked her letting her review it as he stood up to stretch. "Worksheet is complete, what's next, or can I get a walk through of the building?" Kuna asked.

The camera focuses on the problems held up. It takes a but a moment and Kisu cheers, swaying on the screen with a pair of pom poms. "You did it, doki!" she cheers and I turn from my work to look over. She can be so noisy sometimes. I don't know how she got that personality. But then she had been a prototype program when I became an espir. I sigh and get out of my chair, stretching my arms over my head and hearing several vertebae crack. I drop my arms, feeling better. I arch a brow at his question to walk around the building if we have nothing to do. I frown. Gami will kill me if I let him wander alone. We don't know him well enough to allow that. I suck on my teeth in slight annoyance and get my shoes on, not trusting the labs enough to go around in my slippers which I wear when in my office. I'm a bit of a neat freak so I have no worries of stepping on something I shouldn't. Kisu vanishes from the monitor as I walk to the door.

"Come on. I have to go with you. Gami-san will shoot me if I let a newbie wander without being supervised," I say to him and head out the door, hands on the front pocket of my hoodie. The lab has been a bit cold thanks to the fall season. Even I can get cold in this body, though with less risk factors that humans. "What did you want to see anyway?" I ask him, a bit bored. I'm not a socialable person so I find this a bit odd for me.

"I couldn't do it without you Kisu." He would say smiling towards the little program as he followed Ikuto out of his lab. Kuna already had the place he wanted to go. Kuna cocked an eyebrow at what the espir said. "I would have thought she would be more of the kind of person to dress you up in women's clothing. She did make mention of that too." Kuna would say placidly. "Where else would you want to go if you are working for a arms company? The firing range of course. I want to see what kind of weapons they got here. I hope they have a Steyr Aug to test out or the latest machine pistol that has been put out." He would say getting a little giddy at getting some sort of new weapon to get his hands to try on, and Kuna was not doing much to contain his excitement.

Kisu seems happy with Kuna. Seems he has gotten into her good graces. Not that its a hard task. But when people don't treat her as if she is a person.. She gets upset. I am still trying to find a way to build her a body to inhabit herself. But I can't get the funds just get. Not till I prove myself in the position I am currently in. I freeze mid step the moment he mentions women's clothing. I whip around and look at him, fists clenched at my sides and I'm shaking. Gami.. THat bitch. How dare she tell the newbie just what kind of torture she puts me through when she has had far too many drink. Kisu is giggling and making me see images of photos that Gami took before I could destroy the camera and its data.

I take a calming breath and then sigh. Looks like he is a gun nut also. But at least he isn't toting a gun around like many of the people in this lab do. Honestly I think the only reason it is tolerated is because Gami is quite the genius. She may look pretty. And may seem a bit insane. But when you listen to her break down a project to the simplest of tasks for each person.. Kami.. Even I have gotten a bit hard watching her. Which isn't easy mind you when she is constantly putting a gun in my face. I really should try to get out more and away from the insanity of this lab.

Kuna suppressed a smirk crossing his face upon seeing Ikuto reacting to his revelation. He gave a little shake of his head dismissing the mirth from his mind. It seemed like he was thinking of actually taking him, which was exciting as he followed him along one of the corridors. "I figured I should ask, but I wanted to know what kind of weapons Nyte industries. I figure you work more for military contracts, so you would produce a wide range of assault rifles or do you do small arms along with sporting rifles?" He would ask hoping they produced a wide variety of arms, so he could get the widest training in handling the weapons as possible. "Yeah, I could see a lot of them packed a lot of heat. Hmm, are most of the models here they pack Nyte models, or they the competition?" He asked mostly to himself.

Kisu is all excited to go to the shooting range. She likes when I use my hyper senses to pinpoint a tiny target and hit it dead on. I've had one of the Ootori private police approach me because of my skills. I had to refuse. I'm a researcher. But if they ever need me I would be willing to fight with them if something happened that it would be needed. Gami would probably hate it. But everyone hear is pretty loyal to the company. I heard the old lady Kyro is quite generous to her employees. One of the main benefits is free use of their private hospital for your whole family if you show you are loyal to the company. Its one of the best around. I've heard a little about the next Kyro in line. She's only a bit older than myself. But the main thing is.. I hear the guys say she is a babe. I've only seen a photo so I can't judge just yet. Gami says I'll meet her once I establish myself more here.

I listen to his inquires and smile a bit when he mentions the others 'packing heat'. Most of the people working here are gun fanatics and turned it into a career. "All the guns they have on them are guns they built themselves. Its like a badge of honor around here. Once you get yourself onto a research team.. Gami-san will give you the chance to build your own gun. She will even help with the design a bit so that its a weapon that will never fail you," I explain as we come to the entry door to the firing range. I look at the guard and he nods.

"Afternoon, Iku," he greets and opens the door.

"Afternoon, Walter," I return and then point to Kuna. "I got the fresh meat here to try out stuff," I explain and the older man just give Kuna a once over before nodding and motioning us to enter.

He listened to Ikuto who made mention of the fact that a lot of the people who worked here Made their own guns, which was actually pretty cool. Kuna was going to be quite a bit away from something that ambitious though. "Hmm, still though they probably have gun battles over which brand is better then the other." He would say as they came too the doors off the firing range. Ikuto would offer a greeting too the security guard and get waived through with the blond. The inside he would take a calm assessment of the rack of weapons. "I am guessing that Megami makes it a habit of buying all of the latest models?" He would say running his hand over a teppou small arms pistol.

"Yea they do. Trust me they do," I say with a roll of my eyes. I then lead him within and I ignore those within. Bit of an unwritten rule. Don't mess with other people in here. Just go about your own business. Unless your Megami.. She can do what ever the hell she wants. And she'll put a gun up your ass to prove she is Queen B. I move to the latest models, a couple missing because they are currently being used. I stand to the side and allow Kuna to look over the stock we have.

"Yea. Only time she doesn't is when she gets the budjet cut from too many damages in the labs," I say to him and shrug. "We make it a habit not to destroy things and leave that to here since she tends to do it more often than not..." I add and then remember something. "Oh.. And stay the hell away from Lab 13," I suddenly say, a chill running down my spine. "Got another new guy. Creepy as all hell. But apparently Megami likes him."

Kuna gave a slight nod of his head as he listened to what Ikuto said. He didn't much care about which labs to stay away from, but he took it under advisement since he didn't want to start anything within the company. He would stop in front of the classic AK-47 rifle and casually pick it up and begin inspecting it. A little smile crossed his features as he held up the rifle that was the most copied weapon in the world. "I've always wanted to try out an assault rifle." He would say going over to where ammo was dispensed and selected the 7.62x39mm cartridges and slapped it into place. He would come up too one of the firing booths and put the ear mufflers on, so that he couldn't hear anything. Kuna checked the safety off and began single shot rounds from the rifle before switching too full auto. He soon enough had gone through all of the rounds in the magazine. "So, why is this guy creepy?" He would ask after taking off the ear plugs and continued their conversation from before.
