Subject: Set your gameplay mode. Mon Jun 08, 2009 6:22 pm

● Gameplay Mode! (GPM)
This sets up the interaction type for your character on the site.

» Easy Mode: used for people who want to RP in their own little world without having to worry about others interrupting their storyline.
* Treads only marked as 'open' can be entered by other members.
* Members are slightly protected by an OOC Shinshield(tm) where they are pitied and given a bias if bad things happen to them.
* Characters are only able to have a minimal effect on their terrains.

» Advanced Mode: used for people open to storyline changes and sudden/unannounced interaction with other members.
* Any thread not marked 'closed' can be entered.
* Characters are able to greatly effect their settings in open RPs
- large changes to the terrain (i.e. a city block catching on fire, or a devestating explosion) are kept track in the "City Events" thread.
* Characters gain a x1.05 exp bonus for participating in non-closed non-quest RPs
* No site ooc insurance (no Shinshield(tm) for you!)

What happens when someone set as advanced rps with someone set as easy? How would that work? Would the adv person lose the exp bonus for that rp?

I want to be a more better RP'r for the place. Everyone seems to be going advanced though. Even Eve. I'll go with what ya guys think best fits me but as I dont wish to drag back and slow up the RP. It is all about having fun after all. jocolor

I'll find a way to be productive.

Not that I am wining as I just want to fit in, have fun and stop apearing to be a wining bitch. As all good people say. There is no time like the present to start improving yourself and putting forth a better side you like everyone to see you as. I'll just remind myself if my guy dies to just make another charector and do a better job the second time around or third and fourth as many as need be required.

CORRECTION: Alexis and Jasper cannot be set to Easy Mode. Both of them are quite safe, sweetie. Trinity can be on easy mode if you want as I don't interact with her, but Alexis and Jasper RP with Psyre and I would like to not be screwed by any "Easy-Adv" rules. king

Rune: Cheater! I respond to everything with questions, damn you! I'm about to start posting now, so play time must slow down for me. Surreal and I talked before I finished posting that one. I have to find out from Shin how it works if I'm advanced and she's easy b/c if they're set to advanced b/c she's with me, there's really no difference from just being set to easy. The annoyance with this system is that there is the hassle of having to mark "closed" on all of your threads if you don't have a goal for a specific RP, but you may also want to do some open RPs. It's also gonna be annoying if she and I can't RP together with my actual character who is Alexis' boss if I wouldn't get anything (EXP, PWC, or training) from it. Even with the Shinshield on Easy characters, Shin is gonna get annoyed himself if he has to defend the easy chars all the time b/c they're interacting with advanced characters. Also, I'd like to make intern sooner than later, so yeah... this is helping with post count, lol.

adv mode is really just what we've been doin all this time. easy mode's to baby ppl who don't wanna die. it's not a new system or anythin, i just labeled what we were doin. in wotr, jiseki would be adv and haito would be easy b/c i had to go in and revive him like twice b/c kyro kept trying to kill him. as long as u dun piss anyone off, u dun have to even worry what mode ur in.
