The sun lay inches beneath the horizon, preparing to make its daily journey into the skies above. The streets of Gothstone were quiet... all of its normal residents were asleep, perhaps after concerts, perhaps after posting on forums all night. Shattering this peace was a lone figure on a bike, speeding down the street much faster that the speed limit would allow if any police were around to notice. Today he wanted to get a cup of coffee and practice some stunts in the early morning lull. Lower Commons was bad for stunts, you could never tell when some hobo was going to wander out into the street in front of you, and everywhere else had higher morning traffic. Screeching to a stop, the man pauses to take off his helmet and shake his curly golden locks, casting a paranoid glance over his shoulder to make sure his perpetual guardians hadn't accompanied him out this far.

An odd twinge hit the incubus in the head... rather it was odd considering that nobody was supposed to be awake or around at this hour [signature]. It would make trying any significant tricks tricky. Anyone up at this hour was almost certainly a hobo. With a sigh, the man redons his helmet and rides backwards a good 50 feet at full tilt until whoever it was he sensed was in sight. He didn't really seem like a normal hobo... probably because he lacked a beard. Never one to dismount a motorcycle in a traditional manner, he stood up on the seat and jumped up shortly, sprouting wings, making a full somersault in the air, and landing lightly on his feet in front of the stranger, retracting his wings into his back. The motorcycle veered off into a dumpster, destroying the trash can in the process, of course, but no worse for the wear as it had been designed for war scenarios. Abruptly, almost as if talking to someone he knew, the incubus tosses his hair, lowers his sunglasses, and asks, "What are you doing up so early?". His eyes were a red tinted shade of yellow, like an animal's. He wasn't too concerened with hiding who he was from a lone stranger who might be a hobo.

There was something decidedly tsundere' about this man... well, rather he wasn't so used to being confronted so directly and meanly. It took a few minutes for the man to remember that it was normal for people in this end of town to be quite broody. There was only one solution to a dominant, broody type, however, and that was to be a nonthreatening keet, something that wasn't really a problem for the Nazi. Moving back into his line of vision with surprising speed, the scarlet wings re-extended like those of a small bird. "Hey, hey! I didn't mean to offend you! Really! Maybe I was a little bit rude, I'm sorry... what's your name? Do you have a job? You have pretty eyes, really! I'm really, really sorry! You want some coffee?"

The incubus sighed, a stylized puff cloud accompanying the gesture as the man walked away, possibly frightened by the fact that this was certainly a nonhuman he was dealing with, possibly overcome by the chatty nature of one such as himself. Looks like it was going to be a bad day, especially since he was walking even further into the road the blonde had every intention of racing and doing bike tricks on. If perhaps he'd walked in the opposite direction, he would've walked away safe and sound, but as it were Moskau found himself attempting to talk to the stranger once more. Seeming to appear next to the stranger as he walked [Godspeed], the would be street racer continued as if the conversation had never been broken off. "Hey, I know... it's not normal for people to trust incubi, especially guys, but I must tell you this street is going to be a dangerous place once I get some caffeine in me, if you could understand. I wasn't expecting anyone to be on this road this early in the morning. Is wherever you have to go that dreadfully important? If you had a car maybe you could get out of the way in time..."

"Oh, you have a jo-ob..." the incubus said, pronouncing the last word as if it was in a foreign language. "Must be fun, having somewhere specific to go every morning... But yes! I'd be happy to take you out for a drink. It's the least I could do for kicking you off of the road... You know, my mother always said hurting people hurt people..." The way the man behaved seemed admittedly hostile, but all the cartoons he'd watched growing up said that such people were great friends when given a lot of TLC. "My kind don't really get any cool powers, except the ability to make people like them I guess. I like everyone, everyone likes me I like to think. I don't think I've transcended anything, really me being possessed was something beyond my control, but it did make it really easy to run away once I got it, but I think the ones who have transcended humanity are the spirits. You know, they used to be alive and all and they don't have human problems any more. Must be nice. I have a friend whose a spirit and she just walks around all day freely... wherever she wants... no guards, no family, no problems..." Sighing, the man's spirits seemed to sink, but this only lasted maybe 7 seconds or so, given the sort of ADD that blessedly washed away all bad moods in the space of minutes. "Say, you said you had a problem. I don't mean to pry, you seem to hate it when I pry but what exactly is your problem? I might be able to help! It'd be awesome if I could help! Ah, helping out a new friend! That'd make me really happy you know."

The next few statements were slow... people of his type tended to talk slow, but they weren't in direct reply to his question. Thinking, he began to walk a bit slower and let the other man get a little bit farther ahead, thinking of some mischief. A small poof of light blue light later, the man was a brunette with a ponytail, soft brown eyes, a cute red dress with a swastika on the front, and a D cup. Retaking his position next to the man as though nothing had transpired, he, continued on the path to the coffee shop. "Yep, they're really real. I guess normal people don't believe in what they can't see but... spirits are like the wind, aren't they? You can't awlays see them, but you always see whatthey're doing, all around. I guess not all spirits can affect this world, but... well, I think people should be a little bit more observant. If we all cared about each other... spirits and people... maybe we could work together, you know? My two dogs are spirits and they wouldn't have to fight and protect me if there weren't others who were always fighting. I wouldn't have to lie and take disguises if people were more accepting of... me and others like me. They tend to just freak out if I show my powers, you know? Always having to hold back it's... oppressive almost..." Another one of the seven second gloom sessions began. "But it's so fun to just go out like this and cut loose!" He raised both his arms and folded them behind his head. "The sunrise on my face... nobody out here to tell me what to do, just me and the wide open world... freedom! Isn't it fun?"

The incubus looked up at the clouds. "To tell you the truth, I know for a fact that there must be more like me out there, but I haven't been out alone enough to meet one..." looking over at the human, the incubus sighs. "You know, I think it'd be cool to meet one. I've always wanted a boyfriend like myself, you know... possessed. I'm always with these human guys. I was with a guy once but we had relationship problems because every month he'd go turning into a real bitch... uhh... wolf... and it wasn't so bad that he turned, the bad part was that he lied about it. Ah well. Yea, spirits, possessed people... they're all around you. Can you not see them or have you not left the house a lot?"

Not aware of the potential mindrape that might be taking place, the incubus chirped on happily, spilling everything he knew of the known world. "Oh, well, there's succubi like myself, I don't like them much even though they beat normal humans. There are vaspires, Grunty was friends with one, they can do weird things like travel through shadows and drink blood... Woylfs don't like them much... I dated a woylf, he ate people when his period came around. Then there's seers, they look like normal people, they're usually chicks, though. If you catch them at a bad hour they're pretty easy to beat. I think they're like my cousins or something, they have similar powers to mine. My friend Grunty had a kitsu in her group, they're funny and they have cat ears sometimes. They know a few tricks. I think that's it. There are animal spirits, good spirits, and bad spirits. Animal spirits at some point decide whether they want to be good or bad, then they look human, but if you ever see an animal spirit keep in mind that they can use magix without saying anything. Anything that looks human has to chant and stuff. Yea, usually someone who can't see humans won't know what to look for when a possessed person comes around, or... err... they die..." the apparent woman scratches the back of her head ruefully, blushing in a somewhat cute manner. "Most of us are kind of dangerous, you know? I'm dangerous. I'm a bit ashamed of it really but it's how things are I guess..." Flashing a grin at the last part, he giggled a bit to mitigate the nature of his words.

The incubus didn't like to toot his own horn, but he believed himself exceptionally undangerous as he'd defeated and silenced the spirit that had possessed him long ago. Now his mind was as silent as it had been before the possession. Nontheless, it affected his nature and made him hyper, impulsive, and forgetful, and with those characteristics he sought to make a short display of his powers. Using his naturally high speeds, the creature was suddenly upon the stranger, his lips brushing gently against his neck. "Oh anyone can get possessed..." the man in female form would whisper gently. "It's all about chance." Provided he hadn't been thrown off, he'd lick the stranger's neck shortly (suckle) and retreat, resuming the walk as though nothing had transpired. "So yea, I don't know the specifics. I know there are ways to attract the sort of spirits that possess people, but not a lot of people know about this kind of stuff. Maybe the government would know something, but they like to pretend we don't exist, you know?"

Oh wow, it actually worked. The incubus did a slight curtsy with a smile. "My pleasure." Having demonstrated adequately his lack of dangerousness by not killing him with that touch, there was nothing else to be proven and they could continue on their merry way to the coffee shop. "That wasn't too much for you, was it?" The sentence, uncharacteristically for the shapeshifter, was short and failed to lead into another one... to keep it ambiguous more or less so it could be interpreted as either the information or the kiss.

"Hmmm... I see then. You're a swift one..." the man seemed to be musing to himself. "It's great to have a human friend again. The last human friend I had got taken away by the men in white coats. He stabbed himself in the eyes with a buckle from the belt of his straitjacket, then he managed to cut himself open. Not sure how he did that, but he was a pretty remarkable guy." The airy laugh that proceeded that statement seemed almost dismissive. "He came back as a wicked bird spirit of some sort later, so I had to put him down. It was sad. Oh! I haven't told you my name have I? We're friends so we should know each other's names!" He jabbed his hand out for a shake, his eyes closed, his ever present smile broadening, and his bosom jiggling. "My name is Iveta Rekovski, but call me Moskau or Moskva because nobody else can know my name. It's a secret! Thanks for saying I'm not bad." Warmth oozed from his words like so much syrup.

After the incubus shifted back to his more male looking form, they came upon the coffee shop, a sign with a cock on it over the letters, "Daybreak Donuts". Opening the door, the interior seemed anything but cheery. Some half asleep teenager with an advanced case of pizzaface failed to greet them, rather looking up with his droopy eyes, the bags under them accented by black eyeliner. The incubus was a regular here, though. The "oh god not him again" was almost visible on the worker's face, but it was a customer's job to ignore that expression. "Hey! Josh!" he shouted cheerily as he marched up to the counter and slammed his hand on it. The cashier so addressed reached, his hand shaking, for a cigarette. "I want the usual... a triple shot expresso with caramel, 3.5 teaspoons of soy milk, fat free caramel, and that nice raw Hawaiian sugar you know I like so much. Oh! And... Ren sama was it? What would you like? It's on the house..."

The waiter, his hands trembling and his eyes noticeably red, typed as slow as possible into the cashier before the impatient incubus simply shoved a wad of money at him. "C'mon! Make the stuff, keep the change." The cashier reluctantly took the money and started making the coffee in slow motion, obviously trying to stave off whatever impending apocalypse would ensue once the man was united with the coffee. In the meanwhile, Moskva asked him, "You look a little thin. Are you sure you don't want any donuts or anything? They have the most wonderful, sugary stuff here," he cooed. Several of the early morning patrons were packing up their laptops with surprising speed and others were quietly fighting each other to get out of the door first.
