| "Our Blood Boils"Two Tribes has been at war for years, increasing the number of death for years. What could be the cause of this? A Powerful Shape shifting Onikonjou who has mastery over the Pysche abilities as well as Demonic arts. Unlike most demons, this one possesses much experience and power, being in the manipulation/killing game over years. He knows everyone in both tribes and sometimes takes the form of the leaders of the tribes to stir up trouble. The villages are hostile towards newcomers and even make assassination attempts. Let’s put an end to this, Stop that Demon somehow and his corruption of the tribes before it’s too late Location: Forest (Past Realm) Rewards: x2 TEXP from thread (up to 10 days) + 0.50% EXP to quest grading | The new moon, a time when the sky is as dark as a raven's butthole. No light shone down from the heavens, but plenty of light shone up from the busy city with its inefficient lights and its neon signs advertising every sort of pleasure and vice known to man. Businesspeople and pleasure seekers alike rushed busily along the streets. Among their feet, a small shadow darted from streetlight to streetlight somewhere in this human flourish in the middle of yochi. By now she couldn't be one hundred percent sure of where she crept through. Ordinarily, she stayed in the Lower Commons, but she had business here in this less familiar end of town tonight. Stopping, she sniffed the wind and snarled, not finding quite what she was looking for and not remembering what she was looking for smelled like in all actuality. Tensely, she rushed through a wall, disappearing into the brick and emerging from the concrete on the opposite end, looking up and down the streets at the traffic. This night she had business in the past, and she wanted a particular someone to accompany her there. |

| | | “Tch...” The girl begins as she saunters down the long stature of a sidewalk. Only scarcely can she see the vicinity with any accuracy via the street light nearby. Her hands are bound crossed just below her chest, and her crimson eyes are cold as they fixate upon anything she deems worthy of her interest. There’s been a male- approximately within his forties, drunk, following her for the past fifteen minutes. This only amplified further her vexed mindset and reminded her of one the duo whom she’d met against her will within the past. At last, she turns around after feeling a hand upon her shoulder. “What the hell do you want from me!” She snaps, drawing some attention from the publicity around her. The man seems surprised, though, a foul smile seems to seep upon his visage. Surely he is not fortified with knowledge of her prowess when it is night time. Is he that drunk he cannot even decipher her age? “You should let me walk you home...--” He abruptly lets out an exclamation of pain as a kick is well-placed at his groin. Promptly, he falls over and grasps in attempts of solace that particular area. “Suck a dick, creep...” She mutters, before resuming her pace down the sidewalk. People seem to be staring...But she pays them no adequate amount of heed. Some people seemed to know what the man had been up to and found humor in his current state. One man actually decided to go and help the poor man up, and stares at the young lady whom had gained a distance of thirty or so feet by now.

| | She turned sharply and flashed through another wall, all four feet projecting her from the ground to the top of a bookshelf inside the room, then back outside. She landed atop an apparently drunk man's head, violently knocking him back down onto the sidewalk. He gave a loud groan from the sudden weight that came stomping down and the vixen's sickly, swamp shaded eyes darted left and right. "Le'see here..." she said aloud, not caring in the least about the crowd of people who stared and wondered how exactly a talking fox came flying through the wall like that. She didn't plan to stay in this area long, so she didn't care much who saw her. She'd be gone long before the pigs got here. Before the man's head hit the ground, she'd leapt once more, this time managing to propel herself to the top of one of the sparse streetlights. "Hey uh... oh damn..." she murmured, remembering what her leadership book had to say about remembering names. People liked to hear their names and know that you remembered it. "Hey, Little Chick!" she finally shouted in exasperation. "I got somethin' to show ye... you I mean!" |

| | Awesome, Grunty thought as the girl approached. At least now what she prepared to do wouldn't be a surprise. Seating herself on the small, warm bulb of the light, she closed her eyes and concentrated. She hadn't used this skill in awhile, and even then she wasn't all that good at it. She'd open one eye, then another. Nothing seemed to be happening. With a snarl, she'd begin jumping up and down on the pole. "Motherfucking, useless, cunt licking..." she'd list off expletives with every stomp until suddenly the thin piece of metal the electric light was attached to gave way and she began to freefall, her eyes wide. Mid fall, however, a large column of blinding light and energy instantly shot up around the pole and a short area around the pole. When it cleared, there would be nothing but a smoking crater.
Grunty still fell, landing chin first and the snapping, buzzing lamp after her, but it was on grass and not asphalt. She snarled, getting up on all four feet and trying to contain her bad mood. Here, it was day. They were surrounded by thick woods wherein birds chirped and the distant sounds of bubbling water echoed off of the trees. A large lizard, almost a small dragon in appearance, studied them through slitted eyes, flicking its tongue in and out disinterestedly before disappearing beneath a rotting log. The vixen coughed a couple of times and scratched the back of her ear, recovering from her awkward moment. "Ah, yea... this place. It's the past, yea?" she'd comment airily, hoping to clear up any possible confusion with the short statement. |

| | | The girl quirks a brow as she observes the fox proceed to stomp on the street light, and very quickly Kyo finds herself lost as of what she is doing. She is not a fool and she can decipher that- or, she hopes that this wasn’t the display that she wanted to show her. Though, this all had been rather awkward to watch, she continues to do so until that stray, tenuous portion of the light gave out. Contemplating whether or not the creature would be angry at her for not attempting to help, she ponders if she should make attempts to stop her from hitting the ground. Mundanely, she wouldn’t want to aid in this scenario. Would she want her to stand there as to not be helped in that manner by someone of such youth? She cannot tell. Abruptly...there is a column of light consuming all within an approximate range, including Kyoko.
Her eyes are wide as she appears within her new location. She looks around slowly, inspecting the surroundings with a very cautious eye. “Umm...What the?” She turns to look at something that’d been making a strange noise. When her eyes fixate upon it, she sees that it has already retreated back into the thick vegetation of the large forest. “Oh! I see. Alright then...” Her expression seems sincere as though she’d meant those words. Maybe she was so surprised that she truly did mean what she had said. “Wait- what!” Her voice isn’t loud, but it is stung with a case of irritation. “So...we just kind of...warped...” She gives the terrain another look. “Like, five thousand years into the past?”

| | Grunty didn't answer. Rather, her hair rose in ridges along her back and her eyes started to glow a very bright yellow. A snarl issued forth, and her efforts to hold it back only caused froth to drip from her black jowls. Her breath came short, ragged, and beastial as she grunted, "Who... threw... that?" As she stood there, however, small bits of light came up from the ground. A rare natural phenomenon known as ball lightning has been reported in history and science still lacked an explanation for it. The ancient Japanese believed them to be the wrath of the thunder god Raijin. These ball lightnings, however, were a manifestation of the small fox's great and raging wrath. A few of the men looked surprised, taking a few steps back, but the leader continued to stand there confrontationally. Several of the men panicked slightly at the lights, as though they were only the size of gnats they buzzed and snapped and turned all manner of colors. They lit on the men, yes, but they mostly lit on the chief, the one who'd probably given the order for the arrow to be shot. Suddenly, the entire area turned white, awash with electric power as the flies burst and released their latent energy. A noise not unlike thunder rumbled through, reporting repeatedly off into the distance. That chief who'd been standing there shrieked, apparently not used to being confronted in such a manner, and dissolved into a cloud of gnats, floating away on the wind. The men, however, were partially blinded and missed that turn of events. "Our leader!" they cried to each other, seeming to grow hostile as they beheld his empty armor on the spot. |

| | | “Oh shit!” Her voice raises as she seems to be in awe at the destructive capabilities of what was the type of magix she utilized as well. The balls of lightning appear alike small bugs of electricity to the high voltage that washes the area over in a flash of ivory fluorescence. It’s bright, and being someone whom was previously used to the dim lighting of the night, she covers her eyes with her arm temporarily. Excitement seems to take hold of her as she too wants to destroy, or in her case, injure one of the men. She knew little of their expertise and her confidence seemed to cause her to ignore the fact they could possess within their pinky more combat prowess than she did in her entire body. She does a brief fist pump, before shifting her attention towards the fox adjacent to her. “Hey- hey- can I hurt them, too?” She points towards a random individual within the herd of men, an archer to be specific. They seemed to have become hostile due to the apparent leader having been erased completely. Looking towards the shell of armour she is reminded of the empty armour she’d once seen at a museum. She finds what happened to the chief humorous, and snickers, her lips curling upwards into a grin. She waits for the Fox’s consent before utilizing anything.

| | The vixen looked up at the sky disinterestedly. While this wasn't a variant on her lightning skills she'd ever employed, she knew one kami who used it once before. Ah, that kami... that punk. Idly, she wondered where he might be around this time. Last she'd seen him he'd been with her friend in confronting Division 12. But those were memories for another time. For now she stood to all four of her feet to watch the show. Wasn't bad for a possessed human, she thought. The girl definitely had potential. Such a large lightning attack would be useful, especially if they intermixed their powers. The archer looked balefully up in the sky, his hair standing on end as he resigned himself to the fact that he might not make it out of this alive. The girl before her was obviously a witch of the wilds and this beast her familiar. He lay back and receive the lightning that seemed amplified by the resonating chamber of his armor, stopping his heart before the more unpleasant effects of the lightning, burning and cramps, could kick in. The heavy metal the others wore and their close proximity increased the accuracy and destruction of the lightning, even if it would've naturally missed otherwise. So around them lay charred trees and dead soldiers. "Not bad at all..." Grunty commented, stretching her front paws out before her, the claws springing out as she yawned lazily, her ears back. "Must mean we're close to a village. Come on, they should have provisions there..." She hopped, landing on a charred breastplate and jumped again, as though they were stepping stones leading back towards their source. |

| | The fox stood steadily upon a helmet of a man who'd taken the lightning attacks particularily hard, his head being naught beneath the metal but a blackened skull. She looked up towards the sky again, as though turning over the possibility of hostile villagers in her head. "Well, lessee... first of all, news doesn't travel very fast, so the percentage chance of anyone linking us to the dead people here is very slim. You're a little chick, I'm a little... dog, you see. On the other hand, whatever village these guys came from's at war, eh? They might be all up in red alert mode and shit. Ah... as a matter of fact... Kyoko..." she found herself suddenly remembering the girl's name, and the accomplishment made her smile. She'd be an awesome leader yet. "I got an idea. We'll get further if we do things this way... might even get some free food, eh? You cry and look all lost and stuff and I'll be all... uhh... not talking. We'll see how far we get before we have to roast some bitches. Sound like a good plan to you?" |

| | | The girl places a hand softly upon her chin, and lets out a drawn out ‘hm’. The girl is a little surprised at the fact she’d been actually addressed with her real name, and for some odd reason it seems to make her spirits heighten slightly. Mayhaps it was simply because of the rarity of which it was stated. “So, I basically just have to cry?” She appears to have stopped blinking. It would help with the watery eyes effect she assumed. Well, she’d actually been quite the expert when it came to shedding fake tears. Usually, she’d use it as a mean of acquiring expensive things she desired from her Father or Mother. They were soft hearted, which made them differentiate from her. She could easily utilize them to her advantage- but still, she felt the same manner towards them any daughter or son would. “Free food and possibly more lamb to slaughter? Today must be a holiday...” She smirks. Her attention promptly seems to cast upon her clothing. She still looks as though she’d, to these people, come from the future. Maybe she was even a different species entirely to them. “Do you think I should wear something that would make me look more...not from the city? The clothes under these armours...And the animal furs may work. Unless their clothes are incinerated, too. I’unno...Because if I actually look like I’m from around here, their suspicion may decrease even more.” She suggests simply. “If not, I could probably tear this clothing a bit...”

| | Grunty sat down and put one paw up against her chin, a curiously human gesture considering her current form. "You know... you're right. I mean... yea. They'll look at that pink stuff and say 'witch' for sure, right?" Grunty herself was unsure of her age as a spirit, but she knew that around her birth the humans on yochi lacked the proper pigments to produce pink. "Lessee..." She hopped down from the helmet and shoved the carcass she'd been standing on a few minutes ago out of the way. "These guys on the bottom are a little bit better preserved, if you can..." she seized a shoulder pad in her snout, starting to walk backwards until she'd pulled the freshly dead man from below his comrade. She sniffed the stiff form of the soldier a few times, eventually coming to wrinkle her nose. This one, like the other, was a younger fellow, but he was still decidedly large. "I guess they don't mind cross dressers. You sure it'll fit, or you want to go for the 'ragged orphan' look?" she'd ask briefly, her head tilted to the side. |

| | | “Well, it would be a hassle if I had to keep on pulling up the clothes...” She states, her eyes fixating upon the carcass that’d been drawn from the stench-spawning heap. “If they’re too large, that is.” Flies would begin to swarm around, seemingly noticing the bodies. To them, the remaining flesh of these men would be a buffet for them and perhaps their young. To her, this was disgusting, and she swatted at a few of them and slapped at her arms when they attempted to bite her. She knew she should have brought a repellent... “These guys kind of smell like death. They might be caught off guard by that and probably wouldn’t know what to do.” She nets some of her hair behind her ear, a yawn departing from her lips. “Unless the smell doesn’t carry over to their clothes...” Generally, she did not like the idea of wearing clothing that is filthy and painted with dirt, but evidently she would have to. Kyoko stares at her own clothing and knows that it would require adjustments to appear as though it was made within these times. “I think I’ll go for the ragged orphan look. Maybe we can use some of their clothes anyways to make it look more... convincing?” She suggests whilst twisting a stray lock of her hair.

| | The fox simply sat there on her haunches, surprised that the girl would choose to get ashes from such a... well, she wasn't one to call others dirty, but it seemed sort of interesting on a girl of her upbringing and caliber. Very Lord of the Flies, if one was acquainted with such work. She shuffled her feet onto one spot atop another man's chest, the armor having been blown clear away to reveal the suede that the metal had formerly been protecting. Bending her knees, she brought herself into a laying position, looking alertly up towards the bushes as she curled her tail around her feet. The ripping sounds certainly seemed interesting... rather, the vixen hoped the girl wouldn't get carried away. She didn't care to have some half naked chick following her around. Hell, she would prefer a half naked guy following her around about now... maybe an incubus... a small one in a maid's outfit... two of them... bisexual... So her thoughts drifted off, becoming gradually more and more twisted until her tongue hung out of her mouth from the pure perversion of it all until the increased ruffling of the trees brought her back to reality. The girl emerged like something out of an industrial child sweatshop specializing in fur. The fox tilted her head, looking her up and down and examining the costume to formulate a response to her question. She hopped onto the flat, clean ground and reared up on her back legs, taking two marching steps with her forepaws out in front of her, before sweeping them past the ground and marching in the opposite direction, a dance famously known as The Thriller. After her short expression of her opinion, the fox settled back on her haunches, grinning in good humor. "You look awesome, eh? Villagers'll just have to take you in lookin like that if they got a heart beating in they chests. Come on..." She began to trot off at a jaunty pace, following the footprints of the army towards a settlement on the horizon. They should be there soon... | |

| | | “Alright,” The girl laughs in response, brushing her hand through her hair as her attention strays ahead of her once more. She makes sure that the pace she is traversing is enough to stay near and behind the fox currently leading. She wishes not to fall behind. Thoughts of falling behind reminds her of the trip she’d experienced at an earlier grade in school. Whilst it started out entertaining, she fell behind, or maybe she’d just wandered off. She couldn’t remember too keenly. A yawn departs from her mouth as her noticeably brown eyes continue to scan the scenery. Generally, the girl’s eyes were a deep crimson, but it appeared that only occurred when the appropriate nightly hour is in place. She actually puts efforts to disenable her gaze from making contact with the sun. If she is to do so, she immediately steers her attention away and looks elsewhere. Maybe paranoiac, maybe not... Kyoko hopes that travelling there wouldn’t get to long, but then an idea- or just a thought popped into her mind. The longer they travel, the longer they’d be able to prolong the filth upon her. Yeah...That seemed correct. Maybe the additional sweat and dirt gained would make her look more helpless... Sad thoughts...She needed to think sad thoughts. She needed to prepare to look as though she is completely and utterly helpless and actually troubled... That would be irksome- but she could pull it off. Her face begins to get more melancholic and she rubs at her eyes. She does blink and she squints slightly due to this. Her eyes start to water but only to the extent where the saline fluid is bordering her eyes. She eventually gets it- and a tear streaks down from the pit of her left eye down her cheek- pooling to the corner of her lip. “Hmm...” She begins, her thoughts trailing off to something else. “Hopefully we’ll be there before nightfall. Shit will suck pretty bad if they take me in- only for them to notice the fangs and the red eyes...” It’d been one of those moments where something beneficial backfires completely, one might say...

| | The fox trotted along in that steady, paced gait inherit in most wild canines that took their ancestors over numberless miles of rolling countryside and snow and desert. Her small size meant her legs moved fairly quick, eating up the distance, but she stayed just in front of the girl. Of course, due to the nature of her spiritual species, it was a subtle sign of dominance subconscious in nature and likely lost on the girl as unnoticed as it was by Grunty herself even. In the older Propaganda, her temper had flared and propelled her into a frenzy of murder when her old lycan friend decided to walk next to her on an excursion. She blew him to hell without flinching, but it seemed as though that action had lost her respect. Even Nagi seemed to have disappeared. She took a look up at the sun and noted the time, laughing airily at the girl's comments. "Maybe if they see yer red eyes and fangs they'll just throw loot at us so we'll leave. Ah... wait..." the fox stopped for a minute, sniffing the air. "I smell... bread baking..." Suddenly, she turned and disappeared through the underbrush. On the other side, there was a short path and a wooden wall guarded by two stern, unblinking men. They both turned their scowling faces towards the creature poking its head out of the bush like twin security cameras. Ah crap... she thought. I guess this is the point where I have to stop talking. I trust her, though, she'll know what to do. Stepping out onto the path, dragging her back leg as though she was wounded and making the most pitiful whining noise she could muster, imitating the sound she'd heard from a dog who'd had his back end hit by a car once trying to escape. He was pretty tasty actually, though car exhaust lingered on his flesh. She lay down on the path, as though weary from a long journey and barked twice at the bushes to summon Kyoko to the area. Though foxes generally didn't bark, she was trying to pass as a dog. Dogs were more natural... more sympathy-inducing... | |

| | The guards didn't crack, simply pointing there spears in the twain's direction to discourage them from approaching the gate any closer. "Spy..." one of the men grunted, his voice suggesting that perhaps his creator had given him a blender full of gravel in place of human vocal cords. For a tense five seconds, Grunty lay there on her perfectly well legs, and the ground suddenly began to glitter, as though from sparks. "Brutus! Cassius!" a voice interrupted, causing the small sparkles to retreat into the sand paved pathway. "Oh come on. Really? Have a heart. Can't you see this girl is starving?" "But..." the other guard stammered, his voice much like his partners as he looked at a woman approaching. She had long brown hair that, despite being done in a ponytail that stuck up at a jaunty angle from the top and back of her head, descended down to her posterior. Her skin was flawlessly clear and peachy, a healthy, rosy shade of pink adorning her high cheekbones. Though she seemed small, she walked up to these men with authority and shook her finger. The guards became as meek as kittens. "But we're in a time of war! We can't just let anybody in... it's a security hazard." The woman frowned. "I'll have none of your stupidity while father is away leading the war party, do you hear me? This girl is obviously of a lighter skin color. No chance she's of those other, wicked tribes. Now let us through!" The guards retreated to their former posts, lifting their spears out of the way and standing at attention. "Yes ma'am!" The woman, now done dealing with the soldiers, turned to greet the pair. "Hello there. Terribly sorry, we're on high alert because all the men of fighting age except for these two are off battling the demonic hordes. Why don't you come in? We'll have you in a warm bath and fed." Grunty blinked and looked up at her teammate, then back at the woman. "Quite a cute dog you have there..." she said opening the gate to reveal a bustling village of women, the elderly, and children behind the wooden barricade. Some of the children rode on the backs of dogs or other domesticated beasts much larger than their contemporaries. Many of the elderly were either being assisted by young women or yelling and coughing about all the chaos. "Where's home for you?" | |

| | | “It’s very nice to meet you, Medea.” I think I was beginning to get used to them entitling it as ‘cock’ soup. I smiled sheepishly- pleasantly, but honestly, I couldn’t stop myself from smiling any longer. “And yes, my Daddy was one of the best fishermen in my village.” Villages? How far back were we, anyways? That was a question that still lingered in my mind but there was no way I could word that inquiry to be innocent. “My name is,” A name. Now, around these times, what exactly were logical names? My own name was probably alien to them, so I doubted I could just go along saying it all slaphappy. “Prescilla.” It was some name I heard in some random manga I was reading in class today. I accidentally didn’t finish it, but the setting was kind of old so I hoped that the name was plausible in these times. Or did that name sound gothic? Whatever...I kept on going with the polite and feeble act. “I’m very thankful that you’re letting me stay to eat and bath, is there any way I can repay you?” I inquire.

| | The woman shook her head. "Well..." she looked left and right and leaned in suddenly. "If you make it through the night, I suggest you leave soon. We have a... problem in this village. All the men are always shipped off to the war as soon as they are the proper age. I've nobody left to marry, but the chief's son from the other tribe insists I marry him. He's very sneaky and clever and sometimes he comes in the night and takes a girl... sometimes he leaves the body..." She leaned back and shook her head sadly. "I'm never giving in to that beast. I'd take a wife for myself before I took him for a husband. I only hope he doesn't take you. Your stay comes at the price of a danger I'm afraid." Shortly after she finished, a portly bald man arrived with 3 dishes. The first two he placed on the table, lifting up the metal bowl over them to reveal a pair of sumptuous, steaming bowls of chicken soup, an orange color and small chunks throughout testifying to the presence of pumpkin. Many other herbs and vegetables could be discerned in the broth, which resided in a bowl composed of a hollowed-out loaf of bread. To accompany the dish he retrieved a couple of glasses and filled them with a deep red wine. The third he placed on the floor. It was some stew bones with a bit of fat on them and a bowl of lukewarm water. He then retreated back to the kitchen, singing something in an indiscernible tongue as he sauntered back into the kitchen. "He likes men... I sort of wonder why he stays around this village..." Medea said, as though in explanation. "Oh my... your dog sure has a lot of character. Is he frowning?" Grunty looked from the bowls on the table to the bowl on the floor, then back to the table, each iteration of the motion causing her frown to deepen and her nose to wrinkle in disgust and malignancy. "Ima be right back real quick..." she growled, hopping down from the table and walking back towards the kitchen. Medea blinked. "I could have sworn I heard it say something." | |

| | | “Oh- she’s actually just recovering from an injury, so she’s got a real funny bark...” Her eyes elongate slightly, nervously mayhaps however she combats the unquiet feeling that she felt her self succumbing to. Kyoko is more so distracted by the aroma of the trio of bowls; all filled with soup all so alluring. In order to eat this, however, the Vaspire knows that it is a prerequisite to pass as two mundane individuals, an orphan and her trusty companion rather than a witch and a talking fox. “My Mommy used to say that she’s a very enthusiastic dog...” Her auburn eyes are fixated upon the orange chunks of what she presumes was the pumpkin and the herbs and vegetation that swam within the broth. She doesn’t want to take a seat yet- no, she does not want to make too much haste else wise the true reason of why she is within this village may be revealed. Foremost, she wants to reassure that surely she is only a pure hearted youth lost and battered, only scarcely escaping the hellfires of a raided fishing village. Her alias is Priscilla and that seemed to have worked. Her curiosity is quirked however when she hears about the apparent individual whom wanted to steal young girls. She is mainly interested because she may get to taste some blood and she’d been craving it for such a long duration... Sweet blood- if only the meat of the soup had contained an adequate amount of it... Those thoughts aside, she figures she may actually be able to attain their trust if they were to solve this problem. But then again, she was a mere girl- they’d consider her a witch if she did try to help... “Uhmm...the man who steals the girls...Has must have not been caught?” Kyoko inquires curiously.

| | A loud noise of snarling, cursing, and clanking pans issued forth from the kitchen. "Oh... Interesting..." the woman said, sipping her wine credulously. Of course, dogs didn't talk. "The man... yes, the monkey chief's son. He seems to have the ability to dissolve into darkness. Our priest tells us he has signed a deal with the devils, selling his soul in the purchase of beastly witchcraft. All of this to woo me. Father said I would be quite the prize some day." At that moment, she seemed a little vain, tossing her ponytail out behind her proudly. "But he could have sold his entire rat hole of a village and I would still turn him down." Grunty emerged from the kitchen, a bowl of soup to match the twain's clasped victoriously in her jaws. She walked with her tail up at a jaunty pace until she reached the table, where she hopped to set the dish down and began to lap the cock and pumpkin brew vigorously. "I don't believe he'll ever be caught..." the woman continued airily. "...until we massacre the entire village. That's what the latest war party was sent out to do. Every single last man of fighting age, and we'll end this war once and for all and bring peace back to the land. A noble goal, wouldn't you agree?" | |

| | | Priscilla, or rather, Kyoko nods before she takes a seat before the steaming bowl of soup before her. She is slightly suspicious, however. She has to wonder if the men that she just disposed of not too long ago were the militant force of this village... But, as of now she finds herself attaining a hunger for the delectable soup before her. “I’ve always wanted peace... Then nobody will have to lose people they’re so close to...” She is trying to keep her speech simplistic and youthful; because she fears if she stretches her vocabulary or displays any form of advanced intellect it may raise suspicion of some sort. Truly, she was attempting to act as much ‘her age’ as possible. This was hard because she truly never really acted ‘her age’. Kyoko takes a drink from the red liquid- crimson as blood. This in itself almost gets her amorous; she’s glad that it wasn’t actually blood. If it were, the blood craving aspects of her would have undeniably kicked in. Ah, blood... It had such a saccharine and amazing taste to it... But surely, she needed to get her mind off of that. “I hope that those bad men in the other tribes get what’s coming to them...” Kyoko has to wonder... The fact that she’d killed something and possibly changed something within the past...How would that effect the future? She is slightly alarmed...She read about things like this in books. What if... Her change caused Vaspires to not exist anymore? Or if one of those men were her great, great, great and beyond Grandfather? Her face goes a bit more pale at the thought of this- but she disregards it.

| | The fox, insensitive to most of the happening around her, came up for air and licked her chops. Most of the soup was gone and all that remained now was the bowl, which she promptly set about wolfing down. She seemed very satisfied with the food, and held it all despite her small form. The woman smiled at this girl across from her's childishness. Such a naive view of the world... of course, as the daughter of a warlord, this one knew that peace never came, instead, wars were the price of freedom. "You'll have to excuse me, my guests..." the woman said, standing up briefly and bowing, Japanese style. "I have some important business to attend to. Jurilius can show you your rooms, there should be a couple of beds upstairs. Your friend may have the rest of my food." And with that she walked briskly out of the door. "What a weird chick, eh?" Grunty grumbled, trotting over to the opposing glass of wine and licking rather rudely into the beautiful glass. | |

| | The fox arrived at the top of the stairs and noticed a number of rooms. One was plainly the washroom, having a moon of opaque glass embedded into the wood. One had a door slightly ajar, thus, this was the door she walked into, her tail disappearing into the darkness of the room just as her companion arrived. The room was modestly appointed; there lay a bed of unusually large size, a hand quilted, black comforter laying upon it. Next to the bed lay a carefully carved cabinet of sufficient shortness that one could reach the oil lamp atop it without leaving the confines of the comforter. The floors were wooden with some sort of white fur carpeting around the periphery of the bed, and another door lead to the adjacent washroom, the same black moon marking the destination behind that door. The fox hopped up on the bed and walked in a circle, yawning widely before settling down on the soft bed that far outstripped her in size. "Eh, pretty good considering its free, huh? Where are you gonna sleep?" The question was loaded with assumptions, but not hostile at all. | |

| | The sun sank, and with its absence, many creatures of the night emerged from their hiding places. Large, bristling canids emerged from the woods, hunting along the rivers for the ever alert herbivores, the dinosaur-like creatures who sipped shyly from the swamps and rivers. Across the moon, one could see the black silhouette of a dragon and its rider, and a blue puff of flame flashed from its mouth, lighting the sky before it came down into the village with a resounding and earth-shaking THWOMP.
The figure on the back of the beast would become more clear as the serpent exhaled the flame once more, turning the once protective wall into a menacing device of entrapment. The light revealed a man who was dark. Rather, he seemed precisely like the villagers, as in he had similar facial features and hair texture, but his skin tone was indisputably black, as though he'd perhaps fallen into ashes at a young age and found himself unable to clean them off. Concealing the upper portion of his face was the skull and hide of some beast, similar in description to a black bear of prodigious size with 4 horns protruding from his shoulder like wings. He seemed mostly naked but for some bearskin about his loins and the breastplate of bone protecting his chest. Leather, fingerless gloves and skeletal jewelry were his accessories as he held up what appeared to be an enchanted, black spear, the head of which glowed dully, as wood might glow when it's no longer aflame, but still on fire. A number of jewels shone down the hilt like embers and further illuminated the intimidating figure of a man. "Medea!" he roared, a smile on his face. Grunty had been knocked off of the bed by the sudden tremor when the drake landed, and she furiously flashed over to the window, glaring. Interestingly enough, her growl was drowned out both by the roar of the flame and the chorus of snarls from the village dogs. Most of the village of girls and children and the elderly were out now in their nightgowns and most of them but the children cowered before the intimidating figure. "Where is Medea?" came the shout once more over the general din. | |

| | | Within tranquil slumber she was, a light sleep, evidence of this being how her mind wandered within the realms of fantasy. It’d been wonderful; she was drinking all of the blood she wanted to- gallons upon gallons and her stomach never seemed to fill too much, since she doesn’t like that sensation. Mother, Father- they were both vampires. A smile was present upon her face during her sleep. Until of course a boisterous thump rattled the innards of every being and caused a quake of high magnitudes to travel throughout the village. Her eyes snap open courtesy of this, and upon reflex the Vaspire rolls and falls off of the bed with a loud thud. “Oh god....” Her hand is rubbing in attempts of solacing the stretch of flesh on the back of her skull that had been one of the first things to come in contact with the hard, carpeted floor. “What the fuck was that...” She whines, breathing heavily and revealing explicitly her enlarged canines. Gradually she opens her eyes once again, revealing irises the shade of crimson roses. Slowly, she pushes herself up from the ground, a couple of tearless sulks of pain escaping from her mouth as she saunters towards the window. “This place is just filled with surprises...” She comments, leaving nothing to implication that surely she found displeasure in whatever was occurring. It is more so because she doesn’t know what is going on, and it wasn’t too uncommon for humans such as her to be appalled by the unknown.

| | | Seized within the grasp of the massive, serpentine creature Kyoko had once assumed had been a mere myth, struggling would be fruitless with consideration of the strength the monster bestowed. All the youthful girl could do was stare in awe towards the events currently occurring. The fox’s words causes her to succumb to her own curiosity. “We did, didn’t we...?” She recalls it perfectly, as literally it’d only been hours ago within what could now be dubbed as ‘yesterday’. Dust storm envelopes the village from the colossal wingspan of this beast, and when the debris and dust clears, the individual and his mount has diminished from sight. Within almost the same moment, the cook makes a loud entrance, and promptly she steers her attention rearwards. Blood red pupils gaze towards him, and Kyoko forgets this fact entirely. “You mean Medea?” She inquires.
