Well I'm bored, the hype for club hype is way over rated. Only thing more boring was the party I went to last night ... that was just pathetic. Is anything going to happen or is this event just going to be girly drama?

The thing with that is, normally when Jyn wants something to happen, he makes it happen... Same with all my characters. But I guess since it is saga-ish, we technically are obligated to have some type of fight/conflict. Because what is there without that?

Fair enough. Though the thread isn't marked as a saga or special type of RP other than interactive with Shin, I suppose many would expect something conspicuous to occur. Though, it does have the basics of a 'party,' which it seems to be assigned as. I agree that it's true that if you go to a party and don't know anyone there and are unable to meet new people, chances are it won't be fun; this would be regardless on how many bells and whistles are there. It's almost as if it doesn't matter what the setting is, or that a quarter of the city (?) is there with all kinds of atmospheric effects... if there's nothing that grabs your character and says, "hey" directly, it's tough to deal with, and that seems to be a major issue. It makes it so that there's no possibility of having a successful 'party' on the boards; as soon as Shin posts, it has to basically turn into a catastrophe. But even after that, if you're not directly involved in the 'conflict' that occurs, you're in the same spectating boat of boredom as you were when reacting to or observing the non-conflict. So in that sense, if something happened, i.e. the party was attacked by a mob of zombies, would that actually make it better? From the looks of things and how Shin is allowing the members to seemingly be the primary force behind running it, I would assume it would be up to us to do something. I did kind of speak with Psi on the issue and he assures that he will be more than happy to introduce conflict into the event, but what would you suggest? If you want to suggest something as a 'surprise' you can PM me and we can put heads together to see how we can spice things up.

I'm already giving you more than enough reason to come over, and I plan on chatting with Izumi later on anyway. You want conflict, come to the VIP entrance..

Well I was gonna have Kyno raise hell in the haunted house. I'm aware that it's up to the player to find interactions, I wasn't trying to rant (its very hard to tell over the net how things were supposed to sound in my head without an emoticon every other line XD) I was just stating my reasoning behind the comments. Hey if I get into VIP with just rice I'd be happy to add to the conflict.

As for kyno I was thinking....because of his delicate mental state a haunted house would be too over stimulating and lead to some form of a temporary change of persona... O_o like evil alter ego?

Well. Honestly we have only just arrived at the club with everyone. Youhaven't even given time for people to settle in the club. So I see more crap happening as the party gets going. If something happens right off the bat that destroys characters chances to interact with character they normally wouldn't.

@Strayed: Here's an idea... GO MEET PEOPLE! This isn't meant to be a big battle SIC. The Who's Who are here and there is heavy security, so you can kinda guess that there isn't gonna be a lot of violence in this one. It's a PARTY, so go dance or ask someone to dance. Cata is a female NPC Mod, so you can even PM her to NPC some random female for you to ask to dance or buy a drink.

Simple and plain, closed mouths don't get feed. I hate to single out one person but you said what others might have been thinking, so if people want fun and excitement, create it. It's not Shin's or the NPC Mods' responsibility to make you interact when there are several people around to interact with. It is our responsibility as NPC Mods to help with that IF ASKED. If that's what this was meant to be, then let me, Cata, or Esca know what sort of interaction you'd like and I'm sure one of us can accommodate. :)

If people want violence, wait til the next saga or until you get to see what Shin has in store in regards to certain listed NPCs who have yet to arrive. Cata is right tho, we're just starting up as I haven't even brought all of the NPCs to the club yet. I'm trying to get things up and running as quickly as possible, but for those that were at WOTL & WOTR, think Chancellor's Ball for how this is meant to be.

So Story of the day: I get out of class and just walk out of the building I'm stopped by some guy. He is clean look dress nice but has a creepy vibe... ask me if I go to school here I tell him yeah. He says I look like a smart person and asked if I wanted knowledge and pulls a book out. At first I was thinking it was bible and the guy was one of the crazy ppl that come to do door every now and then asking if I know the word of God.... but it wasn't it was some other book so I asked the go what type of knowledge... The guy answers, "Untainted knowledge about the soul and matter." he open the book to show me, it had some nice art work in it, but guy just screamed Cult Leader! Most likely part of the KKK or something. I'm not joking about the KKK they have the their meetings on Saturday in the woods just ten miles out of town. Anyway, I tell him I like to come up with my own thoughts on that stuff and walked away... was creepy!
