Utilizing his illusionary powers, Izuya is able to not only take on the form of someone he’s encountered before, but he is also able to use his body or another's to mimic appearance and spiritual signature to the point where it can confuse the senses of others, countering when they actively sense him. This technique is susceptible to magic or an illusionary dispelling technique. It can be interrupted by mental defense even if it's initiated while the tech is active, but other than that, the illusion portion is flawless. Of course, Izuya can only mimic what he’s either seen or have knowledge of; so for example if someone has a birthmark that is not visible, he would not be able to replicate it if he had not before seen it or known of it.
