[Brawler's Alley] Fight Night in the Lower Commons (Open)

Laying the length of the sofa dressed in a pair of sweat pants without a shirt my right arm was wrapped loosely around my little princess as she lay in front of me. The two of us watching the show about the mentally retarded sponge and star that lived under the sea. It was quite mind numbing to me but it was good enough for me since it made her laugh and there was nothing that she shouldn't know about at her young age.

Hearing a hard knocking on the wooden door of the apartment i quickly moved around Lyric without disrupting her position on the sofa. Reaching onto the top of the entertainment center. My slender fingers would wrap around the black handle of the semi automatic pistol. Holding it in front of me as i looked into the eye hole. I saw the figure of a light skinned man who wore a white and black adidas jacket with a pair of loose fitting acid washed denim jeans. Tucking the pistol into my waist band i opened the door " Yo Jae was poppin man." AFter greeting the man he would tell me that i had to go back to Brawler's Alley today to represent. Scratching at my chin i shrugged and said " Aight man just stay with Lyric and make sure she get to sleep on time and no scary movies man.. you remember what happened last time." Letting Jae into the house i walked past the sofa and grabbed a pair of loose fitting Jeans and a button down white shirt. " Lyric you gotta listen to Cousin JAe tonight alright."

Finishing getting dressed i left the apartment and headed to the parking. Pulling out the keys to the red sports car i pushed the button which caused the doors to open by themselves. Raising upwards like butterfly wings I slide into the door pulling the driver side downwards which caused the passenger to do the same as if by magic. SItting down on the tan leather interior i placed the key in the ignition which caused the car to come to life. A bright light blue light coming to life in the center of the dash where the touch screen deck had been installed. Tapping the screen a few times the dual 15" speakers in the trunk began to spit out loud hip hop lyrics. Rolling down the tinted black windows a bit. I pulled a cigerello up to my lips and sparked it. Pushing onto the pedal the engine roared and the frame speed up heading onto the street.

FInallt making it to the Lower Commons the car slowed down to a crawl. Lowering the music i would look around for familiar buildings. Turnign quickly into an alley. Removing the key. I slide out the car and put the alarm on. As i slide the keys into my pocket. Making my way down the steps that lead into Brawler's Alley i pushed open the door. Looking around it had been a while since i had to come to one of these things. The last time i had just gotten out of high school and was just getting into working. Seeing a few people that i knew from Jae and the streets i acknowledged them with a head nod or a chunk of the deuce.

Walking to a table near the ring where the fighting was going on i sat down on one of the table. Looking as woman passed with drinks in there hands headed to tables delivering the drinks. As one stopped by my table to ask if i needed anything i shook my head no. I was alright at the moment seeing as there was no reason for me to be drunk at all. Looking around there seemed to be more suits in here than there used to be when the place was up and coming. That was when it was all about the fighting and the entire place was a ring. Now the ring was sectioned off and the people who didn't have the skil to fight watched from behind the cage.
Sitting down watching the fight with little interest I felt someones presence as they pulled the chair to my left out from under the table. Turning my attention to the person. A smile formed on my face. "Andrea." As the woman dressed in a loose fitting t-shirt and shorts sat down and spoke " Long time Nikki." I nodded with a smile " Looks like you still wearing male clothes " She giggled and delivered a swift punch to my shoulder. That hurt pretty badly I had completely forgotten how strong she was. Rubbing at the area that i ahd been hit i winced " Damn it was a joke." With a smile she patted the my shoulder " Yeah well you came here to fit or to watch from the sides?" I shrugged Jae sent me here to fill in for somebody and i dont even know who so i guess whenever a guy doesnt show up to fight i'll stand in if i want to."

sitting at the table with Andrea as she began to eat away at a bit of food that had been brough to her and placed on my table. She was quite unlike what one would think of when one a lady was brought up but, she was about the best kind you could have around if you could take the punches she dealt out. My eyes moving slowly from the woman towards the ring that was not a few feet away from where we sat. Looking to the two fighters i could tell that it was just about all done. As one of them was breathing rather heavily. Looking on as a wide punch was thrown. It missed and with that the fight was over. Looking at the man whom had not been properly trained for the fight was dragged out of the ring. Hopefully i wouldn't end up in the same way he did. Seeing as i hadn't fought like this in a while. Leaning back and waiting for the next contestants that would enter into the ring. Hearing my name being called out over the loud speaker. I looked towards Andrea who was laughing out loud. Standing up from my seat i pulled grabbed a hold of the buttons of my shirt pulling them apart so that the shirt would open up showing the white muscle shirt beneath. With a flick of the wrist my arm would throw the pile of food in front of Andrea to the ground as i made my way into the ring. Her cry of agony lifting my spirits. Standing up in the middle of the ring bouncing up and down on the balls of my feet a bit while swinging my arms back and forwards to get the looseness out of the stiff muscles.

Alex, was the name of the man who would be my opponent in this up and coming battle. Looking around through the fenced ring i noticed a rather muscular stand up from his spot amongst his crew or gang whatever his affiliation to them. Watching as the blond haired man made his way into the ring opposite me I would allow the smile on my face to fade away. AS i watched him. He looked to be quite strong indeed which could prove to be a pain if he was. Hearing the announcer inform us to prepare ourselves over the loud speaker i watched the man drop into a stance that made me want to give up. He undoubtedly would want to bring the fight close which was not my expertise. Sliding my left lig pointing forwards towards the blond haired man my back leg would bend slightly at the knees. My left and right arms bent slightly. It had truly been a while judging from the bit of stiffness that i could feel in my body that did not like this position that it had almost forgotten completely. Pushing off of my back foot propeeling my body forwards towards the man extending forwards the left fist in a powerful punch aimed for the chin of the man. Connecting with his face and pinning around in a quick reverse backhand which would catch the average fighter off guard.
