A Friendly Stroll (Izumi)

As I stepped out of the room after Izumi, I glanced to her for a moment before I turned my attention to the hall and began to walk, at first remaining silent as I thought on what I should talk to her about during the trip back to Jyn's office. I wasn't exactly sure if Jyn wanted me to start asking her about her relationship with the demon we had locked, though I knew he wanted to know just like I wanted to know how she knew the demon. " So, how have you been Izumi? " I inquired, finally ending my silence. Since it had been a while since the last time I had spoke to Izumi, I figured finding out how things are going with her would be a good way to slid into things. With that in mind I spoke to her in a friendly tone.

After the question I glanced back to Izumi and waited on her to answer. When she answered I nodded my head faintly, " I see. That's good to hear. I'm glad to hear you are doing good. " As I spoke I turned my gaze back to the hall ahead of us, " How is your pistol training coming along, have you been able to practice or have you been to busy? " I began to speed up a bit so I could catch up with Izumi and move up to her side.

" Ah, I see. I understand. Some times things come up that we really don't have control over and sometimes things just get pushed to the side. I know how chaotic and unpredictable life can be. " as I finished my statement, I nodded my head faintly at what I had said. As we came to the elevator, I reached out and pressed the call button for it before looking to Izumi and smiled lightly at her " I'm sorry about the comment before, when we were in the cell, I wasn't expecting you to join Jyn when he came down. "

Her answer sounded logical given the nature of curiosity, though did she know who the demon was before coming to the cell or did she only find out after she had walked in with Jyn.. " I see.. " I said before falling into a moment of silence as I waited for the elevator. When it finally arrived, I allowed Izumi to step into the elevator first before I followed after her and once inside I pressed the button for the floor Jyn's office was on before I sank back against the metal wall of the elevator, glancing to Izumi before casting my gaze away.

Now that we were both in the elevator and alone, I decided it was finally time to see what she knew about the demon we had locked up at the moment. I had danced around the issue long enough.. As the elevator rose from floor to floor I spoke up, " So... Izumi, tell me what you know about that demon we have locked up right now. " I asked, the friendly tone fading from my voice. With the question I turned my gaze back to Izumi and waited to hear what her response would be.

When she answered my question, I wasn't sure if that was the case, though that could be the suspicion talking or simply my desire to gain more information. I decided not to give up with such a simple answer, though I did nod to what she had to say before speaking, " I see.. How exactly did you come to meet the demon and how long have you known him for? " I kept my gaze fixed on Izumi, watching her face to see what her reaction would be to my question.

When Izumi answered my question, I glanced away from her for a moment as I thought on her answer. If that was true then she didn't know him very well then she wouldn't know much about him. I looked back to Izumi and nodded again, " So is it true... what he said about being an angel, or do you think he was lying about that to help his situation. "

As I waited on a response I kept my gaze fixed on her and when she finally began to speak with an answer, I couldn't help but find I was agreeing with what she had to say. " My attention shifts to the elevator door as the elevator chime goes off as the elevator comes to as top and the doors begin to open. As they open I gesture to Izumi, allowing her to go first.

I nodded to what Izumi said before she left the elevator and I thought on it a moment as I followed after her. " Your right about that.. Sadly, there is always something people fight over or even fight for. And I'm sure they have there own reasons to fight between each other and it might not be that much different from some of the ones we fight for. " As I followed after Izumi, I glanced around the hall some, " Tell me something, how did you meet the demon we have locked up. "

" I see. " I noticed we had arrived at Jyn's office and I glanced to Izumi for a moment, " Well, here we are. I imagin you probably have some work to take care of, so I wont take up any more of your time Izumi. Thank you for answering my questions. "

I returned the smile from Izumi and nodded at what she said, " Alright. " Once the door was shut, I glanced down each side of the hall before moving next to the door. Reaching into my coat, I retrieved my phone and flipped through the numbers until I found Jyn's. After getting his number, I sent him a message informing him that I had escorted Izumi to his office and I would be waiting outside his office.
