The Great Temple (E3) (Rekoa, Kaguya) Past Setting

ooc: Before the site event

The Great Temple rose from the ground and pushed towards the clouds. The building was bigger than my own temple to the south east. But then this was the Great temple. Even the village surrounding the place was bigger. Holy men and women could be seen in the various gardens tending their duties. I had come here for my annual meeting. Most of the other holy members did the same trek. It was a way for the needs of all the temples to be spoken and met. Also news could be spread easier that way. I came through here very rarely on my travels. they had healers enough. My travels usually kept me in the lower villages. It was time to offer prayers and meet with the heads of the holy order.

As I grew closer on my trusty stallion, I could see the stable not to far. When I reached the front pathway that lead to the stairs up to the main entrance, I dismounted and handed the reins to a stable boy that appeared. With a bow and murmured, "Priestess" He led the horse to the stables. Stretching my legs I look about for anyone I knew. It was midday and the sun hung high. The temperature here was a bit cooler than on my island. A few of the villagers were making their way up to the doors. they were most likely coming to offer prayers. Their skin was a bit paler than my own tanned skin. that was island life. The sun gave us a pleasant shade to our skin. Slowly I begin to walk up the pathway of stones to the stairs. I had my bow and quiver on my back as well as back in hand. they would give me a place to stay while I was here. It would only last a few days and we still had to wait for the others. I waved as I saw the young priest from one of the southern temples. I could not remember his name. But he flashed me a wonderful smile. Women could melt with that smile. Although the order did not call for chastity, I had no real interest in that kind of thing. I was too busy.

~The Great Temple~

Walking the stone path of the great temple, the rings on end of blessed pole arm made of a white wood, chime as they hit one another. The twelve houses of the Tsukino clan where known for practicing the taboo art of summoning and controlling demons and because of this most of the common villagers strayed away from me or they stop to gawk. The art of summoning was not a safe one to practice and takes great skill to use, only one out of every house is able to make a summon. Even with that said it is rare for one with the proper training to summon an evil spirit that cannot be controlled. Or they could be a feared of the human size white fox with nine tails walking by my side. It is rare to see spirit just walking around.

The large white fox watches the villagers and priest as they look at her. This type attention was not something she normal received and she was really sure how to handle it.

We come to a stop at the steppes that lead to the temple. I look up at them for a moment before sighing. "Looks like a long walk up these steppes huh girl?" My hand comes up to pet the white fox on the top of her head and she closes her eyes as she enjoys the moment. I than see Kazakura waving at a young priest, "You flirting with the priest again Kazakura?" A light smile comes to my face to let her know that I was just teasing her.

The Great Temple (E3) (Rekoa, Kaguya) Past Setting Seijpb_01

Seijin Senkensha a high priestess in training apart of a very highly known temple that yearly holds a festival of sorts known as 'The Gathering'. For years young women are trained specifically for performing at this very ritual when they start to come of age. Seijin has finally come of age to perform her turn into the festival. It was that time that she was to be taken to the great temple in order to pray before the festival would begin. She was to be a seer, and hopefully one that wouldn't 'die' from being possessed by a spirit and completely overwhelmed by it. Of course there was some mentioning's to her about a meeting of sorts, but she didn't really hold to much interest into that, she seemed light hearted and most of her focusing was kept upon singing and dancing, oh how she loved it so.

She was escorted by some priests who hired guards for their trek over here, she idly let her mind wander off as she glanced around the place taking in it's natural beauty. A smile arrived onto her lips as she neared the staircase where there were other priestesses, high priestesses's none the less. She looked at the as she walked in the center of the group of men that surrounded her, priests with their hands together as though they were praying while they were walking, two guards, one in the front and the other in the back walking with swords at their sides.Oh how Seijin wanted to just interact with the other's first before getting straight to business as the other priest's would tell her.

Ooc: Sorry it's taken me so long, I've had a very busy couple days with some important stuff i had to do.

I look back to see Yuna and smiled warmly. "If I was going to flirt with him, I would be over there with him. Chasity is not required here. I just do not want to bother with that." I blush as I finish and glance around as I hear chanting coming from below us on the steps and down the walkway again. "Well, look at that, the young priestess from...." I could not for the life of me remember where she was from. "...well, I guess today is the day for her to take her vows. I remember that day. I believe you and I went together. You got a summon, and well..." I touch the pendant around the neck. "I got the blessings of the heavens to merge with me." Not often one of the priests or priestess could obtain that honor. Most of the other holy men and women could not cast the spells that I could. I could alter time and call upon the heavens themselves. But then again, Yuna's summon could do some of that as well. I bent down a bit and held out my hand. "Greetings, oh one of the beautiful tails. It is a pleasure as always. Are you keeping yuna out of trouble?" I look back to the priestess as she passes us. And smile mischievously to Yuna. It was payback for the prank she pulled on my last year. I wink to the spirit so as not to let Yuna know what I was planning. That young priestess seemed to be so stifled so I wanted her to smile. It was a wonderful day. There was new priest coming for the same ritual, so she wouldn't be alone. I stood back up and 'accidently' knocked into yuna trying to get her to stumble into the path of monks and the new priestess. "Yuna.... oh dear me. I am so sorry." I almost could not hide the smile. The knock would not push her more than a few steps at the best, and she had no fear of falling down the steps. One or more of the monks would be able to cushion her and catch her. they were good at that kind of thing.

~The Great Temple~

I just give her a smile as she reminds me that chastity wasn't required. I was about to say that it was recommended till marriage but the sounds of the chanting gets our attention. It was the young priestess, Kazakura seems to be forget where she is from so I finish her sentence, "Saichuushigai, I believe." I pause for a moment as she speaks of the day we took our vows. "I remember you fell face first into the High Priest's lap and then you said I tripped you." Which I did but I will never say that. "Your face got quite red."

The white fox brings up her paw and places it into Kazakura hand, "Indeed priestess. She has been... I try but she has been... her normal self." Her voice is soft and motherly. Seeing Kazakura wink she lowers and paw and gives a slight nod.

One moment I was peacefully watching the you priestess come up the steps trying to think of something good to pull on Kazakura this year. Last year my staff somehow found its way on the ends of her robes. It didn't hurt her to show a little leg for a day. Then I was "bumped" into the monks who quickly catch me but not before my face lands between the young girls breast. The is an awkward moment before the sound of my muffed voice is heard, "Um suuue..." the monks get lift me up and set me up and my face is red. "I am sorry for the interruption." I lower my head. I am so going to hurt Kazakura for this!

As they continued to walk with Seijin in the middle, her eyes continued to wandered as boredom began to fill her presence, she didn't want to be here, she wanted to talk and have some laughs before hand, but the monk's wouldn't allow her to wander off. Her eyes kept returning back to the two high priestesses that were there talking amongst one another, they looked like they were enjoying themselves. Oh how I wish I could join them... She thought to herself as she looked away, and during this moment when they had arrived closer to the high priestesses one of them got pushed, or made to seem like she tripped into them.

when the noise of the monk's reached to her ear, she ha turned to see what was happening only to meet with someone falling into her breasts. For the awkward moment, she just blinked and stared, when thing's returned to motion, her face lit up as she was heavily blushing as she quickly looked away her hands coming to her breasts. She personally never been touched anywhere on her body, it's not that she didn't want it, it's just she's never experienced any form of touch, friendly or not, so even this made her feel extremely embarrassed, but she didn't freak out in a wrong way. It took her a moment to take in before she started to laugh finding it rather funny how it ended up that way. Her laughter startled the monk's that walked around her, after helping Yuna to her feet. Seijin would hold a happy smile onto her face as she looked towards Yuna, she would face her and bring her hands together in front of her as she would bow deeply to her showing her deep respect. "I do graciously apologize for laughing High Priestess, please forgive me." Her voice slipped out of her lips like silk. After her deep bow she stood up straight and gave her a extremely happy smile and looked into her eyes. "I do hope you're alright, you're not hurt are you?"

I watched events unfold, a hand covering my mouth so not to reveal my smile. I got to her first this year. that would teach her to mess with me me. The monks would probably apply to the High Priest. The High Priest would remember every other time, try to blame one of us, but there would be no proof, so he would have to let it go. It really did look like she had tripped. Then as she was being helped up, I rushed over to her all concerned. "Priestess Yuna. Are you alright?" I then look to the new priestess and smile warmly. "I am so sorry, she can be clumsy at times." I start to dust of Yuna, a crooked little smile on my face. At least the priestess had laughed. She would be one of us soon.

~The Great Temple~

I look up at the girl when I hear her laughing. At less she wasn't anger about it and she seems to be smiling now. Shaking my head, "No need to apologize to me. I am the one at fault." My eyes look over at Kazakura with a smile, "I am just find Priestess Kazakura. You know me I'm just so clumsy that I'm always falling down. I'm lucky I haven't fallen and broken my neck!" The white fox picks up my staff that had fallen to the ground and holds it up to me. I take it and lock arms with Kazakura. "I guess you just better walk with me to make sure I don't fall anymore huh?" I hit the ground with the staff making the rings chime.

The monk's all settled themselves and returned to their standing position with this hands flat together as though they were praying. They would look towards the high priestesses and would give a slight bow, as they were standing in a row behind Seijin. The two guards just stood next to each other rather bored out of their mind you could easily tell they didn't want to be here. Seijin looked to Kazakura who came over to assist Yuna as she also apologized for her. Seijin shook her head. "It's quite alright." she stated before Yuna spoke telling her she didn't need to apologize. Seijin's eyes came across the white fox that brought the staff towards Yuna. Seijin's eyes bugled out wide, she's never seen such a beautiful creature before. The monk's looked towards the spirit and they were cautious about the young priestess due to what she was meant to do so they surrounded her and all faced her and began to speak. "Young Priestess!" Spoke one. "We must be going now." spoke another. "There's no time to waist." Seijin was caught off guard by this and merely blinked and looked towards each of them and attempted to get a word in to get them to stop but miserably she failed. "Y-yes?" was her response to the first monk, then her head turned towards the other. "B-but w-wai-" she turned again towards the other monk. "H-huh w-why" and they continued like that for a monk interrupting her when she tried to talk and got her confused she just sighed and lowered her head and gave in. "Fine..." she said lowly as her smile had disappeared. She looked to the other two priestesses and gave them a light smile, as the monks began to move which would make her move as well. Her eyes looked to the large spirit and then to Yuna and then to Kazakura and then towards the ground in front of her.

Well the monks seemed to be having a field day with controlling this one. Why was it that everyone seemed to think they had to control one with a spirit? Oh well, time to put a knot in their belts. "So you are the new priestess. Glad to meet......" I jerk away by the arm linked into mine. I glanced at Yuna and raised an eyebrow at her. Then I whispered quietly to her as I glanced back at the girl. "Which temple did they take those monks from? I have never seen them so up tight." I leaned my head on her shoulder for a moment and chuckled. "I am sorry about that. Truce until the meeting and ceremony are over?" I try to direct us up the steps towards our destination and to the ceremony. I waved to the young priest as I caught his glance again. As Yuna and I walked arm in arm like we had a few years ago coming up these same steps for our own vows. "we should perhaps think about abducting her after the ceremony and showing her the hot springs and their relaxing atmosphere. Those people she is with might not let her out of their sight until she goes to sleep." I thought of the hot springs and almost sigh with the thought of using those again. They were a bigger version of the springs on the island. My aching backside would love that. Maybe I should start coming here the day before and partaking then.

~The Great Temple~

I whisper back to Kazakura, "The one in Saichuuchigai village were that perverted Gen Sai guy is elder. Most likely told them to make sure that he was the only one to touch her." I blink for a moment as she leans her head on my shoulder and giggles while offering a truce. "Yeah ok, I'll agree to that but it's off tonight!" AKA there was going to be a pillow fight later. I like out a sigh as we go up the steps, "I really don't know what we have to come to this thing every year and sit there and listen to all the men talk about politics. Why can't I just come in and say "The gates are still sealed. The end of the world isn't coming this year." and be done with it, but NO! I have to sit there and wait half of the day for." I lower my voice as I try to sound like a man, "Maester Yuna, how are things with the spirit realm?" My voice goes back to normal, "And then I give the same answer I give every year." I stop my ranting when I see Kazakura waving at the young priest again and then she talks abducting the you priestess. I rather evil grin comes to my face as I rub my chin. A plain starts to form in my head. "Hmm that sounds like fun. Agreed... tonight you'll stop time and we'll take her from her room.... and then.... the fun will start." I was rather known for being a trouble maker so something like this would not be out of the norm for me to cook up. Rules are made to be broken.

It just wasn't fair, at least that's how Seijin saw it, she was secluded all her life in order to fulfill her role at being a High Priestess and also to become a Seer. Her life's path has already been set in stone and there was nothing she could do against it, the festival will soon come and she will become a new seer. It wasn't much she could do, she was a woman and they were men, obviously they were stronger than her, well at least for now. It would only be time before she gain's more freedom and can finally scout the village she's lived in her entire life, but has never seen. All she had seen was the inside of the Temple of Light and this temple. When they would transport her, they would blindfold her, thinking that if she saw anything it would cause impurities to arise into her mind before the festival would arrive, so the only thing she was permitted to see was, whatever went on within the temple and nothing more. Her eyes kept towards the ground, she wondered though, if the other priestesses had to go through the same thing, or was it just the ones from her temple, but it was all for the greater good. If this could save people, than she didn't mind it so much, but if it didn't it would seriously bring her to question her own life as to how it was brought up and what a waste of time it was since it wouldn't have made a difference, but the power to see that far into the future was beyond her for now. She kept her pace with the monk's who would lead her to their destinations, the guards told them they'd wait for them down at the bottom of the stairs, mentioning something about it being bad luck if they were to go any further, probably had something to do with them carrying weapon's meant to kill and what not. Oh well, off to the meeting and the Vow's ceremony.

"Stop time. You ask much of me. Its not my strong suit." But I chuckle. "That is how the high priest lost all of his robes three years ago." They could never prove just who put those robes on the temple spire. They knew but there was no proof. So into the temple I went to the meeting and then to vow ceremony. IT would prove to be a very trying ordeal. The gate was still seal, the spirits held mostly at bay. What was it with these old men? IF the seals were compromised Yuna and I both would be the first to tell them all. You would think that we were silly little girls still. Fair enough, we were silly, but we at least knew our duties.

~The Great Temple~

So some really, really boring stuff goes on. The old man ask if I'm doing my job right and the talks about this and that bluh bluh bluh. I about fall asleep a few times lucky Kazakura was there to elbow me in the side and well once in the middle of something I shout out something silly about a hot springs when she woke me up. Was a little odd when everyone looked at me and I had to come up with something on the spot. Saying that we needed more hot springs because it was good for the body and a healthy body was good for the soul... or something like that. Ok let us get to the fun part where young naked girls splash water on each other and do girly things that boys think about late at night.

The boring portion of the time here had come and past, the meeting had past, the vows have been said. She has been inducted to be one of them. Time proceeded foreword to a much more mentionable part of the day, well night as it would appear. The last of the events within the meeting, Seijin had mentioned to them all about 'The Gathering' festival that was going to be hosted at the Temple of Light, and had invited them all as she was told to do so. Now though the day has fallen and the moon began to rise. Seijin would be at a door of the room she was to wait at night as she was speaking to the monk's who had come with her, telling them good night and what not. "Yes, I'll be quite fine, I feel tired so I shall get some sleep, good night to you all." The monk's would bow to her and she would give them a smile as she had closed the door gently on them and they went off to their own rooms. Seijin proceeded to her futon as she would dress appropriately for bed and slip under the covered lowering herself onto the pillow, she would shut her eyes closed, unaware of what was awaiting for this moment, unaware of the mischief in the air, the lingering shadows of the high priestess who planned to kidnap her for some fun. Seijin began drifting into sleep unaware of all the fun that was about to happen to her.

The night rose to filter out the day. The stars twinkled about and the sounds of crickets could be heard. A nightingale began its song as I made my way down the hallway, towels in hand. Swiftly and quietly I work my way into Yuna's room. The place was quiet. The residents of the temple all but gone to sleep save the guards. they would be easy enough to sneak by with my magic. It was good to one of the most powerful priestesses in the land. My bonding with the heavens gave me access to higher forms of power. Such as the manipulation of time and spiritual arts. But they were difficult to maintain. I whisper around the room, "Yuna are you ready?" I was wearing just my outer robe with nothing underneath. It was time to go to the hot srpings and relax. Plus it was time to release the new priestess from her captivity. I held towels for all three of us.

~The Great Temple~

The whispers of two women come from the room. I can been seen through a crack in the door wearing a white yukata but the person I am speaking to is hiden.
"You can't go out like that..."
"Why? We are going to the hot springs are we not?"
"Yes, but you can't go out like that..."
"But the hot springs feel better in this from..."
"Your naked... put something over your body..."
"I do not understand. My body does not need to be shielded by cloth."
"I can't have people seeing you like that. Here put this on."
"Every well master if you insist."
The door opens and I give Kazakura a smile. "Sorry she was being troublesome." A tall silver haired woman with dark skin comes up behind me pulling at the yukata that is too small for her. Her large breast look like they are about to burst out of it. "I really do not see the point it covering myself. It makes it hard to move." I look at her violet eyes. "Just live with it."

I look to the silver haired woman and blink, "I like this new form for you." I smiled broadly and chuckled. I was assuming it was her summon. "Shall we go rescue the little priestess from her captures" After they answered my statement I would put my hands together and call forth the spirits to do my bidding. "Eilio, spirit of time, lend me me your power. Still the hands of twilight for us to pass." And then the world would cease for all but us and the sleeping priestess. "Lets go, no magic unless you want this to stop. I can hold it for long."

So there she was in her room, asleep perfectly sound asleep without a care in the world. She held a smile in her sleep as her closed eyes twitched and moved signifying that she was in REM sleep, so she was dreaming. She was perfectly unaware of the mischievous priestesses that were on their way. Even then unbeknownst to her time had stopped but she still dreamed of nothing of dancing and singing into the night air.
