Within the very deep reaches of the deep forest, there was clans of ninjas. They were saught by the higher powers in the world to carry out things that others would say is impossible. From accidental to plain assassination, they do it all. The clans are centuries old, but even older than that is their rivalry. Since before any of them can remember they have been fighting. It is part of their way of life, as to say. Since birth they are taught to fight and fight until they die. The fighting is what drew Mukesh. Growing up he couldn't find what he was looking for. Their was plenty of fighting, and death all around. But none of it was with any type of code or form of honor. Mukesh had always felt that the fighting in the world was nothing but senseless brawling. They could not put in any emotion or feeling into their actions. But the ninja were different. With everything within them, they hated the enemy. Mukesh learned from them... until the day he died.
A like within the deep forest lies still and motionless. Until a dark light begins to shimmer above it. The waters then ripple as a spiritual being forms from the light. The light fades and Mukesh is now standing upon the waters. Though ripples are being made as he stands there. He casts no reflection, as he is a spirit. "Its been a long time. Im glad that gate finally came down. I wonder how long its been since I was slain." He spoke to himself as he walked on the water till he reached the ground. "Seems I don't have a physical body yet. No matter, just means I can discover things without being seen." He stated to no one yet again, but he wasn't one to keep his thoughts to himself unless it was necessary.

Time: Night Weather: Clear skies Song:
The night wind was cool over the lake, deep in the forests of the present. It was my only companion tonight. I circled above the lake that housed the gate to hell my wings stretched and gliding upon the air currents as I rose and fell. A song welled forth to the night sky as I longed to return to the heavens that had birthed me. But alas I had chosen to come to earth, much to my creator's sorrow. And much to my own. Instead of living amongst the humans and learning their songs as I did in the beginning, I found myself looking for more solitude as I sang my saddened songs. I knew a lot of the songs of man, I just chose the more subdued and depressing ones to suit my mood. I was dark in color for a Kami, my dark feathers the color of twilight, deep blues fading to black. With silver feather tips much the same color as the slivers of moonlight that shone off of them.
I was The Nightingale, the singer of sunset, the spirit created from the purest note of music. My voice had the power to make the heavens cry and I was alone in this world, cut off from my world. My voice continued to break the stillness of the night as I circled and watched the waters ripple in the wind. I was not paying too much attention to my surroundings as I flapped my wings and gained altitude until finding another thermal to glide as I sang to myself. There were not words to this song, just my normal vocals of this bird form.
My eyes on the third circle, catch sight of a newly formed spirit and judging from my position over this lake, most likely a spirit of the evil kind. I continued on my third circle and pulled my wings together close to my body as I dived towards the lake and away from the new spirit. The song still strong in my voice. A graceful dive of a bird before letting my wings flare out as I glided across the waters of the lake. ! -- STOP TYPING>

It seemed to be a quiet night outside the lake that exists as the connection between the human and demon world. It is dark save for the errie glow of the forest and the soft illumination basking off of the eerie lake. Normally this area would be safe from the preying eyes of man, but eyes notice the formation of the body as it returns to this world. Two ninja with heads wrapped in black tape and crooked forehead protectors crouch in the bushes as they witness the demonic version of the miracle of life. Their bodies are cloaked in blackness. It was fishing in a sense; if they waited long enough, a big fish would come by… a fish that in its slaying would validate their strength to join the upper ranks of the sacred hunters. Simply attacking it while it was out in the open wasn’t the best strategy as it could scare him off. Though they could both tell that he didn’t have a physical body yet from their trained eyes, they could tell by his demeanor and presence that he wasn’t an ordinary demon. He was a higher order who, if left alone, would form a physical body and may seek to disrupt human life. They would wait for it to near the forest, into their trap before springing their attack. For now, they watch his movements and collect data on him, just to make sure he wasn’t a strong higher order that had come to earth in a spiritual form simply to move undetected. They would have him and his death would be swift, as the code of the ninja had its creed to kill an enemy before it knew it was dead. All was going to plan, until he came. “Kick ass!” comes a yell from the skies as both hiding ninja face palm. Feet come to the ground and a short red headed ninja stands in a purple jumpsuit with his forehead protect on backwards and a straight blade on his back. The moonlight shines down on him like a spotlight. His hands are on his hips until he points to the lingering spirit, condemning, “prepare to meet your death, demon! You will be send back to hell by me: the great ninja who will surpass all!”

The night was the closest thing to home he had now. The realm of demons had not been the place for him. Like the world he knew before he passed away. They were nothing but barbarians and brawlers. Even the ones who had passed with him had become corrupted and content with the spirit world that humans called hell. Yet Mukesh had survived every fight, every attempt on his spirit life that ever came at him. Using his skills learned from the human life as well as his demonic powers. He was a very lethal combination, of power.
He looked back at the lake that had been the portal from were he came out of the spirit world. He then noticed a bird that glided along the lake. Anyone would be captivated by this sight, but this bugged Mukesh. "Why didn't I sense that bird earlier?" He wondered as he paused for a moment seemingly checking himself over. "Tch, damn it looks like returning wasn't without its price. I've lost my abilities. Im going to have to learn everything all over again." He noted, and sighed. But he didn't have time to think of much else as a red haired purple suited self claimed ninja came out yelling at him. Mukesh noticed he was the only one around, so the loud mouth had to be talking to him. "You say your a ninja. Then you must either be on your first mission or just an imposter. No way a true ninja would give away himself so easily. But what do you want child?"

Everything was quiet but for my singing until a noise broke the stillness of the night. My sharpened gaze focuses on a would be ninja yelling at the newly form demon above me. It broke my song and my concentration. A sigh, complete with anime style white puff from ym beak, comes as I choke up and flapped my wings. This brings me to the edge of the lake and I start to climb higher into the sky until I circled over their position watching the little mortals playing at being ninjas. What an idiot this one in purple made as I watched the demon and the ninjas to see what would transpire this evening.
My wings beat until I found the next air column and I used it to get closer to the ninjas, their cover was blown, what would they do now with this over zealous idiot in their midst. It never occurred to me that they might notice that I too was a spirit. But since I was a bird, they would most likely over look me since they had bigger fish to fry. I was counting on this so that I could hear their conversation. My flight brought me into a tree near them and I fluttered to a landing on a branch over them, my wings tucking beside my body. From my perch I watch them looking between the demon and them. ! -- STOP TYPING>

“Ha!” comes the response as the pointing finger is pulled and as both hands are placed back on his hip. “You’re first mistake is to believe that you are bigger than me! You haven’t noticed that I can see you. You don’t even have a physical body, so how can you talk about I who am great? You’re death has been contracted to Sakana the of the White Moon, and therefore your life is now null and voice. Prepare yourself!” The ninja lowers slightly as he prepares several hand seals in quick succession. “Water style, rising dragon judgment striker!” The waters behind the newly formed spirit burst as a stream in the form of a dragon ascends into the sky, lingering high above Mukesh. It quickly lowers rushing straight down at him like a train for its first attack.

The bird that was in the sky seemed to have a peculiar interest in the events that were going on near the lake. The strange thing was, most birds wouldn't stick around. Unless they were the type that ravaged off of dead bodies, any disturbance would scare them off. And yet this one not only staid around but perched near. But this was a very trivial matter to the immediate situation at hand.
The so called ninja had proclaimed that Mukesh was a fool. A strange thing to say seeing as Mukesh obviously knew that he could see him. Hence why he had bothered to answer the kid in the first place. But it seemed the idiot wasn't without a set of skills of his own. Using a set of hand seals the ninja channeled his energy into an element and made it work to his will. This was a trademark skill of the shinobi. At any other time, without a physical body, Mukesh wouldn't figure to be worried. But seeing as the red head could see Mukesh. It meant that his attacks were in tuned to the spirit and they could hit. So an instant advantage for Mukesh has turned into a severe disadvantage. Without a physical body, the spirit form only allowed him to move so fast. Not nearly fast enough to move away from the oncoming attack.
Summoning his will, Mukesh forced his foot to physically touch the ground. He felt a snap as he came in contact with the ground. This allowed him to get a good foothold and pivot just in time to avoid the water attack that hit his previous location. Now a few yards away, he took a moment to adjust to his body. It wasn't the same form as his previous life, but that was all the better. He now had the shape of a 18 year old boy. One of average height and fairly well built body, with bronze skin. The most notable thing would be that he was naked, it seemed the form didn't come with its own attire. "I must thank you boy. If it wasn't for you I would have wondered this forest for who knows how long. Before I had a serious reason to gain this body. You have my thanks, and I shall return that by showing you what a true shinobi of the Meji Era is."

“Oh ho!” the ninja notices as Mukesh gains his physical form and thanks him while butt naked for the motivation to move on. “I see Gothstone, I see Lower Common… I see your penis!” the ninja taunts in a melody that does not rhyme at all. Though he appeared to be slacking off, he continues to hold the hand seal keeping the water dragon manifested. The large column of water in the shape of a dragon had indented into the ground so that it looked like the water was flowing into the ground. The ground rumbles a bit beneath Mukesh and the water dragon rises out of it, snapping and trying to encase the newly formed oni if he didn’t move out of the way. Mud would start to slide form the holes formed by the water dragon as it ravaged the lands near the lake, with its tail still feeding in from the large body of water.

Well this was rather interesting. A water spell from the would be ninja, and he was holding it and controlling rather well. Good human. They learned so quickly. My head tilted since I was right above them on the branch. Then the demon gained his human form. Wonderful. But he had better learn to fly soon if he wanted to get out of the way of that dragon. I clicked my beak as I watched the show. My eyes rolled down to glance at the other two ninja wondering what they were up to and if they would be attacking the demon from behind. But I was not going to enter the fight unless the demon looked to be winning and going to kill the humans. Although they were mortal and rather short sighted, they deserved a chance at survival here on their world.
The two of them, the demon and ninja, were trading insults in the night and I shook my head again. I see your penis? what kind of sing song rhyme was that. Idiot. I almost spoke out and told him a better rhyme for that than I see your penis. Wow this human was one of those rare nutcases I got to see while in the city, ! -- STOP TYPING>

Self propelled flight. Something that had escaped human grasp since its creation. Although human beings see themselves as the greatest beings on the planet. They still wish that they could soar the skys such as birds do. To substitute for this they have designed giant metal birds. Creations that do their flying for them. While this is close it is still nothing compared to the natural creatures of the sky.
All this was something that Mukesh surely felt in his grasp right now. He felt his demonic abilities would allow him to accomplish such a great feat as this. Then again, having been raised by a ninja clan previously. Such a thing as flying was very showy and ultimately useless. Then again most of the arts had never even attempted such a thing. So to discard such a thing without even attempting it. Thats just to lose out on the possible benefits you may receive in the future. And the situation being at hand, it might be best to try things out.
the dragon was bounding along the earth. Seemingly gathering even more strength from the lake next to them. At times like this he seriously hated the fact that the portal was near such an obvious source of power. And it was a power he could not use, thats what made it all the worse. He kept his eye on the dragon as it continued its devastating path towards him. He moved his feet to get his body away from the path of the being. Also using tumbling and the occasional cartwheel. It annoyed him that he was not yet used to this body and this is what he was limited to. And the other problem is what the dragon was made out of.
Water was a non solid and the essence of fluid. Although it had been givin the shape of a dragon. That could change in a heartbeat giving the beast insane cornering and agility. Mukesh's only option was to dodge at the very last possible second to negate any adjusting in time. He could feel the droplets of mist graze against his skin as he avoided a blow. But his movements were not completely random when dodging. Like a infighting boxer that was fighting an out fighter. He used very calculated movements of dodging and avoiding. Until he suddenly appeared in front of the red head boy. And less than a second later he moved, trying to time his appearance with the course of the dragon's timing. And hopefully the wanna be ninja would be blasted away by his own attack. And just how did he avoid this attack? During the course of the dodging he had been gathering his demonic energy around his body. This could be seen by the ninjas most likely but of course they wouldn't know just how he was going to use it. And at the time of him appearing in front of the boy he had gathered all he needed to attempt his previous thought. He jumped as high as he could in the air and using his surrounding energy he caused his body to lighten. This allowed for what was not possible in his human form. For now he had accomplished flight.

The ninja continues to follow the movements of the nude former ninja with his water dragon attack. He holds his position with the hand seals and continues to throw out random taunts here and there while the naked ninja flips and tumbles away from near hits. The dragon would follow the commands of the one controlling it, so when Mukesh appears near the ninja and then evades up, the dragon breaks into two to move around the ninja and follow upwards. “As if I’m that dumb!” the ninja taunts; such a thing only worked in the manga’s, but he had noticed that the Oni had become faster and now seemed to be able to fly when he didn’t look like he could previously. Just before reaching the area where the dragon would try to close its jaws on the Oni, it disperses and the technique is ended. As the water dragon bursts, the water from which it consisted turns into a thick fog (Myst). If he were to try to continue flying up and attempt to get away, Mukesh would discover a barrier in place keeping him from getting out, courtesy of the other two ninja who had yet to show themselves. The silly ninja’s voice echoes in the fog as he states, “come down demon so I can kick your ass on equal grounds. Let’s go, man to man, no magic.” When the fog fades away, the ninja stands there butt naked, having taken “on equal grounds” literally. The boy’s clothing is to the side as he stands there with his legs slightly spread, punching his fist into his palm. There appeared no earthly rationale to why his sword was still in place on his back or what was holding it there.
Myst: This creates a fog or thick mist, cutting off visibility within the affected area.

"Well I guess iv'e got to give you more credit than I had planned to." Mukesh said as the ninja avoided being done in by his own skill. He did continue to raise higher in the air until he felt the barrier above him. "Tch. It seems you have allies. Very well, Ill kill you all." He said as he looked through the mist as he heard the challenge. He began to descend and then stopped about ten feet in the air when he saw the boy was naked. If it were not the fact that he was in a fight for his life, he would face palm himself. "Actually I take back what I said. You are a grade A idiot. And now I have no desire to come anywhere near you." He said but he still landed on the ground. And the second he did, charged the ninja with full force. Once close enough he extended his hand in front of him seemingly as if reaching for something. But the line of it was directly in the view of the ninja. This would perhaps mess up his depth perception, making him think Mukesh was closer than he appeared. This was a defensive stance and although Mukesh was in a charging motion it didn't change the purpose of the tactic.

As the oni rushes in, the ninja quickly sets his stance. The demon seems to move pretty swiftly, but as one who wished to be a part of the demon hunting elite, the ninja was ready for it. As Mukesh extends his hand out, the ninja seems to vanish, using the dim light to his advantage (Shadow run). He slides into a crouch behind the Oni and calls out, “turn around, Demon scum!” His speed made it look as if he were on par with, or faster than the demon, while keeping the form of a normal human. His legs push off of the ground as he thrusts at the demon from behind with his arm cocked back. It would come out in front of him in a right hook aimed for the demon’s jaw.

Mukesh's attempt to fool the child had failed. Not only that, the boy had countered with his own technique. It was the demon's fault for under estimating the ninja in the first place. Mukesh lost sight of the boy for a moment. Only to be alerted his position by the kid yelling. At first this would be assumed a foolish tactic. But it caused Mukesh to instinctively turn around. The child had out smarted him and he could not avoid the blow but he could lessen the damage. As the fist closed in the demon gritted his teeth and slightly jumped. Once the fist connected, with a locked jaw his head would not rattle around. If it had then he could have lost consciousness. And the jumped softened the blow for it did not connect with full force. Lastly Mukesh reached to grab hold of the sword that was still somehow stuck on the boy's back. If he was successful, he would use the sword s a weapon against the red head.

The fist hits and the ninja grins in the slow motion that occurs when the blow connects. Somehow, the demon’s hand comes to the boy’s sword. The boy’s momentum and the direction of the demon would not be going in the same direction. The demon is able to grab the sword all right, but there is a snapping noise as the sword is broken off at the middle point. There would be a release there and the boy’s eyes would get wide. He begins to run around in circles, after the tip of the blade feel to the ground with a small amount of blood. The boy had been using the strength of his butt cheeks to hold the sword in place as part of his training. “Who does that?” the boy yells accusingly at the demon, “who grabs another man’s sword!?” He stops and then looks to his clothing speaking, “at least I have another sword…” His words trail off as he notices that he’s just as far away from his clothing and sword as the demon was. Realizing this quickly, the begins to run for the sword and attempts to swoop it up before the oni demon could.

He had successfully grabbed the boy's sword. But a strange set of events changed the fortune of this event. The boy had been holding the tip of the sword in his butt cheeks. And the strength of the hold was so great that the sword snapped. The idiot had then been cut because of this and was babbling like an idiot. "Well a ninja does what it takes to finish the opponent fool. And besides that what kind of idiot holds such a dangerous weapon in his ass cheeks? You afraid of what someone might put back there?" He said obviously insinuating the boy being raped. But he noticed the sudden glance towards the boy's clothing. The boy then took off towards it, automatically making Mukesh do the same. But the child had a split second head start on him. He would reach it before the demon. But Mukesh took the sword end he was holding and tossed it at the boy's feet hoping to tip him up. He then would leap to the clothing, grabbing it in a tackle like move and rolling with it.

Much to the boy’s dismay, the demon had a jump on him and would reach the sword first. The discarded weapon interrupts the boy’s run as he looks up to see the demon closing into the sword’s direction much to his dismay. The boy wasn’t about to let his sword go that easily or without a fight. Having just missed the sword as Mukesh grabs it, the boy quickly reaches behind his back and pulls out a kunai with a tag on it. Once again, it is very suspect where the thing actually had come from. Because of the fact that he has to get the attack off quickly, he tosses it at the ground near where Mukesh would roll. There would be a sound like something burning before a large explosion would occur from the tag. There would be enough time to react to it, but the explosion would have about the same intensity as a stiff push. It wouldn’t be anything strong enough to cause any actual damage at the distance it would be at; yet it may be enough to at least knock the wind out of the oni demon if it hit close enough to him.

Well it seemed like the human was on the losing end, time for me to enter in on the side of good, no matter how stupid that good was. I could not believe the nude ninja, he wanted to fight on equal footing. Wow, the only equal footing he had was the fact that he could do things that the demon could not yet. I sighed up in my tree branch and shook my head. There were two nude males in my view and if I had the ability to blush I would have. At least the demon's nude body was nice to look at. This stupidity had gone on long enough. The ninja's sword was about to fall into the hands of this demon and he needed a little pick me up. Without the aid of a chant, I cast my spell upon the nude ninja, a gray mist surround me and then him as he moved. This would at least give him a burst of speed since I weakened myself to make him stronger (Enhance) Maybe this would help the kid destroy what must be his first demon. Before the demon got any stronger. And so I sat upon my branch keeping eye contact on the butt naked ninja as I maintained my spell. ! -- STOP TYPING>

Real cold steel. It had been centuries since he had held it. The weapons in the demon world had been nothing but spiritual imitations. And while they might have been stronger in an aspect. It still held no emotional value like true steel.
Muscle memory is the result when your body does an act so many times that it does it off of instinct. This is true for just about any form of movement. But Mukesh had always thought that muscle memory was more than just the muscle tissues of the body. It primarily had to do with the brain and it making the body move the way it remembers. The demon no longer had his original body. But all of his memories and teachings, for the most part were intact. He just had to unlock them. And grabbing this sword was the first step. Once he held the hilt, memories of techniques of the Bushido flooded his body.
The ninja had shown true ninja skill as he tossed a kunai at Mukesh while he rolled. Once the rolling stopped, he was on his feet and noticed the kunai in the ground. Without even a micro second of hesitation the sword flew out of the sheath. And sliced along the tag that was rapidly burning. Only a sliver of the tag remained but it could not detonate without the whole tag.Mukesh then stood looking at the ninja that had suddenly become covered in a mist. He didn't know if the nin did it himself, or if his allies had. Either way it didnt matter to him. He sheathed the sword but kept his hand on it. This was a customary quick draw skill from Bushido. But despite how it was used by others. It was intended for a defensive move. Mukesh had been on the defensive this entire fight, but that was fine. The offensive usually get careless and make a mistake. Usually one that costs them their lives.

The mist is also noticed by the two ninja who were hiding. They had noticed the approach of the nightingale and deciphered that it was a demon of some sort. When she casts her spell on the boy, they take it as a sign of hostility. Obviously spirit types would want to help each other out. Swiftly a large oversized ninja star about the size of a person’s arm comes spinning and ripping through the trees towards the bird looking to sever it in half.
The ninja boy who had taken center stage notices his attributes feel stronger in the midst. He didn’t know a spell had been caste on him; he simply thought he went super saiyan. “Oh hell ya!” he says as he pumps his arms. He looks up at the Oni and then his image vanishes. His foot steps kick up dust as he rushes straight for Mukesh, wielding another kunai from who knows where and performs what seems like an attempt to pass him up in a passing slash. A wind of momentum would move past Mukesh as if the boy had passed, but the boy would have leaped at the last moment, inverting his body several yards above Mukesh, calling out a “up here!’ while tossing down the kunai.

Time: Night Weather: Clear skies Song:
I saw from the corner of my eye as I held the spell on the kid. A flutter of wings and I dived off the branch away from the star. What in the name of the heavens were these idiots doing. Here I was helping their comrade out and they were trying to kill me. Humans were such strange creatures. I flap my wings taking to the skies flying over the other two. "I'm trying to help you out." My spell was broken as I begin to circle my way up higher into the air. The nude demon had gotten the sword and I shook my head, if these humans were not careful this demon would soon learn transformations and then where would they be? Up the creek. I moved up and out of range of their firepower as I watched what was going on below me. I would not attack the humans unless they wanted to be idiots and attack me again. ! -- STOP TYPING>

The sound of threes being destroied and twigs snapping fill Mukesh's left ear as he fought. He guessed that was the location of the allies, but whatever they were doing. They were not attacking Mukesh. For several reasons he could guess. They might be the support type. Seeing as the mist even caught the ninja by surprise. It wasn't uncommon thing to have support figures. They provided healing and sort of power ups for the soldiers. Though if the occasion called for it. They could fight as well, just never as good as those up front.
But that was not the primary concern at the moment. It was this naked red head ninja in front of him. The boy flexed his muscles as if he found some new power, or was refreshed. That could be a bluff but with such a simple air head as this one, that wouldn't be happening. The word deceit and deceive. Didn't seem to be in this fools vocabulary. But something had changed about him. Mukesh could tell as he charged him again, for he came much faster. The demon thought he was prepared and quickly pulled the sword from the sheath in a slashing movement, just as the kid got near. But he suddenly vanished before Mukesh's eyes. Like last time he yelled out to the demon. He looked up to see a kunai coming at him. He moved just in time to avoid being hit in the face. but it struck his shoulder as he leaped away. He stopped and yanked out the weapon, making sure there was nothing attached.
He then looked at the boy. "Heh I underestimated you kid. Seems I owe you an apology. Ill fight you with my full strength now." He said as a demonic energy eveloped him. He lost his physical form as his new shape took form. The new being looked similar to a demonic dog. His fur was mangled and blacker than the night around them. On his face was a type of copper helm, that seemed to leave no room for his eyes. The dog like creature, was roughly taller than Mukesh's human form had been. "Now, shinobi, let us continue!"

The ninja’s hear the bird’s words, only with their Oni filters on, they translate it to say “I’m trying to help you out by killing you quickly before life has a chance to make you suffer anymore.” On top of that, these ninja’s creed was to exterminate demons, not to attempt to understand where they’re coming from while creating avenues of communication to better understand one another. Thus, with that said, the one of the two ninja who were hiding to this point moves swiftly, leaping from tree branch to tree branch as if weightless, silently through the night until he manifest hims quickly leaping after the bird looking to slash it out the air with the blades kept on his backs. The barrier, currently being held by the other hiding ninja, wouldn’t be much higher than the tree tops, keeping the nightingale from getting too far out of distance.
The kid backflips onto the other side of the Oni and sets his stance when his feet touch the ground. Standing up, he smirks, still naked, but witnesses the change of the Oni into something else. His eyes get wide and on top of that, he loses the buff that had covered his form giving him the extra strength. “Monster…” he frown as he sees what he took to be the true form of this demon. “Well, since you won’t fight me man to man, I’ll have to do this the hard way!” He makes several hand seals before slamming his hands both down and onto the ground. There is a rumble and water erupts up from behind the spot where Mukesh was at and spins in a violent twister.

His transformation complete Mukesh could feel the power running through him. This form was obviously not something he had acquired in his human life. Although he did not like the spirit world. He did have to embrace all of its power to survive. And it wasn't easy to survive for even the mention of his name was enough to piss the demons off. Mukesh means "Conquer of the boar demon Muka." Muka was a very famous demon that was admired by many. And as a god to some. So needless to say, a human, "demon slayer" was not all to welcome in the land of demons.
The ninja boy didn't seem to effected by the transformation but changed his tactic. He had gone back to using ninjutsu spells. The ground shakes as water suddenly erupted from behind the demon dog. But that didn't matter, for his target was in front of him. And with nothing between him and his target, he had no reason to worry about what was behind him. Using all four of his legs he tore into the ground as he took off. He made a mad sprint at the boy. Although he wasn't faster than the jutsu. He only needed to keep his minor lead on it. Once close enough he seemed to disappear as the boy had done before. He had jumped, but only enough to jump over the boy's shoulders. The back to paws of the beast kicked off the kid's back with enough force to send him flying towards his own skill. Mukesh landed with a skid, turning in the process.

The ninja watches as his attack is rushes through as the demon approaches him. With the demon coming to close to him, he is forced to break the magic attack and attempt to block, but the demon does not attack from the front. He feels a harsh pressure on his back and flies forwards and towards the lake. There is a pained expression on the boy’s face during flight, but he flips out of it and lands on his feet just before touching the water’s of the land. He lands on it, standing on the water’s surface in a crouched position, looking up to see if the demon was already upon him, if so, he would have to start blocking.

Water walking. One of the skills of the ninja, that made many people. Or the ones that believed in them at least. Think they were not human. Even though it was simply channeling the bodies natural energy to a point on the feet to create a type of bridge for the to stand on. But this skill still defied every day humanness. And in some aspects they might not be. But in the physical they bleed the same way humans do and their heart beats as well. This red headed boy was all to human, and Mukesh was not. Once he had stopped sliding and had his bearings on were the boy had flown to. He dashed off again, leaning to the ground more to make himself have less wind resistance. Then just as it seemed he was going to run full speed ramming at the kid, he suddenly jumped with paws extended. A very simple attack, and one that wouldn't be like Mukesh. But for the sacrifice of power, the form left him with little to use in the way of body movements. Other than surprise leaps and attacks with the paws and fangs, he wasn't left with much.

The fatigue of fighting and using spells had started to sink in with the ninja. He brings up his arms to block the incoming attack from the swift demon. The demon moved with the speed of a true demon, and at his best, it would be something that the ninja could counter, but low on energy, it was an uphill fight. The attack strikes the boy’s guard and blood lifts into the air as flesh is torn and his body is hurled back, skipping over the waters, until he lands on his back somewhere near the shore on the opposite side. The ninja in hiding lowers the barrier, seeing that he had to help out and flight might be the only means of survival right now. Several small orbs are flown in the demon’s path between it and the ninja boy and they explode into puffs of smoke. The ninja who was holding the barrier rushes from his hiding spot in the bushes towards the fallen ninja boy knowing he needed to help him out and get him out of there.

After making contact with the boy. Mukesh could tell the boy was nearly at his limits. But the demon didn't slow down, he ran across the water towards the boy. But it seemed someone wasn't quite ready to let the boy die. Smoke bombs came from nowhere and exploded. It wasn't from the red head, so it had to be from his ally. Mukesh didn't bother looking for the boy but for a foreign body to enter the smoke. He saw it briefly and immediately leaped in that direction. He would come bearing down on the ally through the smoke. "You shall not interrupt!" The beast said as it swatted away at the ninja, in an attempt to make it a one on one again. "This is a fight between me and you boy. You have proven yourself a worthy opponent, and as such I shall keep my promise and show you the power of a true Ninja of the Meji." The beast growled.
The beast began to change yet again. As his form was blurred by his demonic aura. The energy shot into the sky as the smoke cleared. Once at the height of its assent. The finished form could be seen. Mukesh was now in his form that mixed his demonic powers with his shinobi nature. He had on a set of lightweight armor, and the copper crown from before was now a headgear with several eye slits. The sword appeared again but now it was covered in the demonic aura. If he was gazed upon the crescent moon was shining behind him. He was the embodiment of a hell's ninja. He landed on the water in front of the boy, pointing the blade at him. "You fight with a shinobi honor. You die with a shinobi honor."

The ninja B rushes towards the boy but notices the beast breaking through the smoke. “Shit…” is heard under his mask as he turns and crosses his hands together in an attempt to use Haku. While the sakura blossoms generate but before he could ninja vanish and appear above the beast, the swat comes in and knocks him back and away from the fighting area. The nin rolls on the ground and comes to a sliding stop where he pushes himself off of the ground slightly, holding his ribs where a large claw scratch was. He reaches up and pulls the bandages from over his mouth allowing him to cough out blood. He looks up in time to see the brilliant display of light emit from the demon as he curses, “it’s… too late. We’ve failed.”
The boy coughs, coming to, having been rendered momentarily unconscious. Groans as he pushes from the ground and picks himself up. His stance is a bit wobbly as he looks over to the ascended oni who stood before him. His vision is a bit cloudy and his form is still nude. He had no weapons to fight back with and nothing else left up his sleeve. Hearing the words of the demon, the ninja boy reaches up and grabs the back of his forehead protector. He turns it to the front and adjusts it with both hands. He shakes his head from left to right and attempts to focus on the demon. “I won’t…” he says, staggering a bit, “let you have your way….” He sets his stands and clasps both of his hands together. A magi circle forms and glows beneath his feet. It shines a brilliant blue light up from beneath the shinobi. “I’ll finish you off here if it costs me my life!” he yells at the demon as the grounds around them start to shudder.

The boy now standing on his last legs finally stopped messing around and was fighting seriously. Quoting the motto that should be followed by all shinobi. "Taking a life even at the cost of your own." Whatever he was doing, he was trying to take his own life to end Mukesh's. And while he respected this act, he could not let it follow through.
The demonic powers Mukesh had gained had never seemed particularly special to him. Everyone in the spirit world had them, especially the elites. But it seem that here in the realm of humans that it wasn't the case. His skills well exceeded what people could handle. It made Mukesh wonder why anyone feared death at all. For in his own demise he had returned far greater than he could have ever been in life. It made him wonder just how many demons had been around back when he was alive. But that wasn't totally possible seeing as the gate keeper was actually working then. In all retrospects, Mukesh was doing this boy a favor. Mukesh knew exactly were the boy was going, and that he would fight to return. It may be decades or centuries from now. But he would return to fight him again.
Mukesh held the sword in front of him straight up and down in his right hand. His left he held his index and middle fingers together straight up. Dark energy channeled around him. He then rotated the sword from up to down. As it swung it seemed to go in slow motion. "Jikan wa dare mo ga teishi shi ta watashi to anata" (Time stops for no one but me and you) All of time would then stop. Everything would freeze in a kind of greyness. Everything except for Mukesh. A line of demonic energy would pass by the boy's neck as he made a quick slash through when he passed him. "You fought honorably. Rest now mighty ninja. And challenge me again once you pass through the world of hell." Mukesh whispered to the boy right before time started again.

The boy continues to channel his power to vanquish his foe, but then something happens. The demon who was in front of him, now spoke from behind him. There was no telling when the demon moved after his incantation. The boy’s eyes roll back and blood sprays from his neck, casting a mist into the night air. His body goes limps as it shifts to the left, swaying lightly before it comes to the ground with a dead and lifeless thud. His bowels are void and the boy’s corpse is left behind as his spirit wanders on. Ninja B witnesses this as it occurs. It was originally his intentions on blocking whatever attack might be coming towards the boy, but he never got the time to move. Still, holding his side, he stands and faces the demon Oni. Reaching behind his back, he pulls a hidden kodachi from its horizontal sheath. He removes his blood stained hand from his waist and holds the short blade in both hands. Crouching to his knees, he leans over and thrusts the blade into his own heart, thus killing himself, since he was not able to accomplish his task. His body goes limp and falls face first onto the forest ground. A pool of blood grows from his lifeless corpse. All that remained was the final ninja who was attempting to kill the nightingale spirit.

Sigh. Another night with Ko-chan and an empty belly. Mou! Not fair. Not fair. I leap along the tree branches in my most base form, a white kitten. I stop for a moment and scen tthe air. I'm hungry. Why is it that I have to hunt? Why can't I make another do it? Oh yeah.. I killed that human guy the other night and ate him. Giggle. Opps. Maybe I should have gotten a couple more days of free food out of him. But he was getting so boring and then he tried to touch me. And well.. He doesn't deserve to touch me. Only someone who is really strong is allowed to have any part of Ko-chan.
My hair stands on end as I hear something suddenly ahead of me. I blink, tilting my head ot the side. Eto.. A fight? I perk instantly. A fight means their might be food! Yay food! Without any hesitation I hop along the branches and near the sounds. I hide up in the leaves and peer down at the battle going on. Oh look.. Another oni. Haha! That human died like an idiot. Such a boring death. But then I find myself looking up at a bird. I blink. No. More than that. The bird is a spirit of some sort. A human is leaping at it and I smirk as best I can in this form.
My body leaps out and I land on the human's head to knock him off balance and out of the air. I then step on the air, little bits of wind swirling under my paws. I look at the bird. "Fight back, moron," I hiss and then huff, turning my nose up at the spirit bird. "Otherwise I'll eat you instead of them killing you."

The body of the red head ninja flops to the ground as a lifeless corpse. Mukesh looks at it for a moment, giving him is moment of silence. He was a good opponent, at least for testing out the new body. His attention then turned to the other ninja that had come out and try to interfere in the fight. The ninja had taken out his short sword. And for a brief moment the demon thought he was going to fight him. But the second that both hands were grabbed on the weapon he relaxed. The ninja then committed seppuku. And while that was also an honorable thing for a shinobi to do. Mukesh felt the red head was a better ninja than the other. Fighting till you have nothing left was a much better way to go. Seppuku was only meant if you was about to be captured. Better to die by the enemies hands in battle. But his attention went elsewhere now. He still heard sounds coming from the forest.
He disappeared from his spot next to the dead bodies and entered the forest. There he saw several things. First was the bird that had been circling them earlier. Second was another ninja that seemed to be after the bird. That meant that either the fool had gone insane or the bird wasn't what it appeared to be. The last thing came only moments later. A white kitten landed on the ninja's wrapped up head then floated in the air. Then spoke to the nightingale. While all this was very strange, Mukesh knew the ninja came first. He didn't exactly feel like wasting time getting close and fighting the guy. He was fairly worn out from his battle. A being suddenly jumping on your head could be very distracting. So Mukesh thought he should take advantage of the situation. He tossed the Katana at the nin through the trees. The sword would appear from the branches as if from no were and hopefully impale the unsuspecting nin into the tree next to him. Upon succession, Mukesh would land on a branch above the now impaled ninja. "Busy night."

It would seem the bird was a very illusive one to get a hold of. In the middle of attempting to catch the bird, the ninja’s senses go off too late to notice the approach of another demon. His head is lightly pounced on and he is taken out of his groove in his attack to attempt to finish off the nightingale. As he is free falling to the next branch to recover and assess the situation, something flies through the air and the blade pieces the ninja’s back, thus pinning him to the tree. Blood comes from where the blade entered into his back and his body goes limp on the blade in a vertical position on the tree until the blade is removed whereas he would falls down the side and to the ground, lifeless. All enemies were now defeated.

I watch at the human dressed in funny garb as he tries to recover, but then.. Shunk! I watch as a sword goes through him and lovely crimson stains the night. I sit back in the air, delighted, clapping my paws together. "A show and dinner," I chirp. I move down and with a swirl of shadows out I pop in my child form as I land. My kimono floats around me a bit as I walk over to the dead man and begin to poke at him, giggling.
I stop though and turn to where the sword came from, grinning brightly. "Hey mister! That was a really cool trick!"

Mukesh dropped down to the branch were the now small girl was. "I take it your a spirit as well." He said walking by her and pulling his word out. With a quick and strong swipe the blood flew off the sword and onto the tree. He then sheathed the weapon and looked up at the bird above. "And im going to take a wild guess and say that is as well. That would make the shinobi hunters of spirits. Interesting." He said pretty much thinking out loud like normal. He stopped moving for a moment and his body began to glow with demonic energy. When it faded he was back in his human form. But he was still naked, for he had yet to find clothes. He looked at the fallen ninja. "I guess these are as good as any." He said, tripping the ninja of his cloths. He then put the black clothing on, But hesitated with the mask wrapping. "I guess I dont need to hide my face anymore." He then let it drop from the tree. He then turned his attention to the girl. "So what brings you over here? I heard you mention something about food."

"I'm Keiko," I say to the spirit comment. Keiko is Keiko. Spirit is a word that Keiko is not really. Well.. Not so much anymore. I've grown since the first time I opened my eyes in the mortal realm. He gets his sword out and splatters the blood on the tree, making me clap my hands together in delight. Red is such a pretty color, especially when it comes out of these mortal idiots. I blink and look at the new boy as he glows and then I point and laugh at his nakedness.
"Haha! Baka is naked. Look how small your dick is.. Must be cold," I say, laughing at my own words. But the mention of food has me hugging my middle and I pout. "I was looking for food. I killed the human feeding me and now I have to hunt. its no fun. Its boring and hard work to try and get something to eat." I pout a bit more and look at the other. "Do you have any food, small dick?"

The demon kicked the dead corpse off the tree, He then sat and leaned against the tree, slightly away from the blood. "Names Mukesh, but you can call me small dick. But you cant judge one when its sleeping. Not that I expect you to care. And I just materialized in this world and evidently killed the first three humans I came across. So no I do not have any food. Maybe you shouldn't have been so blood thirsty in killing that human." He said looking at the little girl. The only reason why he staid around to even indulge this girl in conversation, was cause he had honestly nothing left to do. He could track down the ninja's clan and eliminate them. But until he got used to this body and using abilities, he wouldn't stand a chance.

I wave off his comment on me being blood thirsty. No. I had been bored. There is a difference. I don't go an actively seek out humans to kill. I happen to find them and if they bore me.. Well I rid the world of their boring nature. Why let boring things continue to live and take up space in an unnessecary manner? But then I'm pouting as he says he has no food.
"Boo boo," I stick out my tongue at him. I look around and I know I can't get much done physically in this form. I close my eyes and shadows swirl for a moment before bursting outward and I stand there in my adult form, my kimono a bit too small for me, but I don't care. I brush my hair over my shoulder and peer at him, hand on my hip. "If you get a fire going I can cook the humans you just killed."

He was only half way paying attention to her. He just liked the feel of being back in the realm. And the feel of a true sword in his hands again. But his attention was diverted as she transformed yet again. This form was far more adult, and she obviously wasn't ashamed of her body. Mukesh cocked an eyebrow at this but otherwise made no clear showing that it bothered him. But at the same time, the mention of cooked food made his stomach growl. "Well since you offered to cook im not going to decline." HE said as he rolled to one side of the branch falling off. He landed safely on the ground near the now naked ninja. He looked for a moment. "This assholes smaller than me." He said thinking out loud. He then set off to get wood good enough for a fire. He had set out so quickly cause despite how hard he tried, her form had peaked his interest more than he let on.

I noticed the kitten and was just about to turn and answer with one of my most powerful spells, when the ninja that the kitten was talking about was pinned with the katana. After this I settle onto the shoulder of the little girl and glance at nude demon. Another spirit was in this area so it would seem. Why was I not surprised. I chirped at the kitten and the ninja demon. When the kitten spoke about the size of the demon's dick, I chuckled and and kept my mouth shut for the moment. It the girl let me settle on her shoulder I would nip gently at her ear. "Greetings Keiko and Murkesh." Normally I wouldn't settle on the shoulder of any demon but this was interesting to say the least. And it was better than a tree branch. "I am Aria" I watch the demon looking for clothes and chuckle softly shaking my head from side to side. He didn't know. IF the girl didn't let me settle on her shoulder it would be a nearby tree branch. "Sweeting, don't you know that you can think about clothing and it will appear on your body, unless you are a a weak demon." It was challenge for him and I knew it. But the humans were dead and there was not much I could do about it or would do since they were trying to cut me from the sky. Looking to girl I click my beak in a clucking noise and wonder if she was a good cook. "Thank you for saving me back there"

The bird lands on me and I blink, looking at it. Odd thing. Maybe it wants to be eaten. But I got the humans to cook, so I let the bird remain on my shoulder, even in my bigger form. I grin as 'small dick' goes and gets a fire started so I can cook. Yes.. Ko-chan can cook. I just don't do it if I don't have to. Simple as that really. I giggle as the birdie teases the male oni. Maybe I can like the bird now if it likes to tease people too. Making people blush and squirm in embarrassment is so fun!
I then get thanks from the birdie and I flick my azure eyes to it. I shrug slightly. "Humans shouldn't attack us spirits. I hate them for the most part.. Unless they are serving me. Which isn't hard. Male humans are so easy to trick with my body." I giggle after saying this.! -- STOP TYPING HERE>

The little bird finally spoke, proving that it was indeed a spirit. The remark about the cloths slightly caught Mukesh by surprise. He had not even consider that. Then again it wasnt like he wasnt used to wearing clothing such as this. But now that he knew he felt he should wear something far more fitting. "I did not know, for I have been in the mortal realm all of about 20 minutes. And I only had time to focus on killing my opponents than being clothed." He said as the clothes that were on him shredded and underneath a change appeared. A black wife beater with black pants similar to sweats. And a pair of black thin shoes, similar to what the ninja were wearing. It was at this point that he had left them to gather wood.
A short time later he returned with rather large amount. He spread them around in a type of circle. He then took out his sword and stuck it into the ground. He dragged it around the circle, a kind of containment for the fire. Then to start it he struck a his sword against a stone, causing it to spark and ignite the wood. The fire then came to life, and he blew on it till it was large enough to sustain itself. "there, I've done my part." He said sheathing his sword after wiping it off. He then sat down and waited for the other two to do whatever it was that they were going to do. Despite what he showed he was quite hungry.

So they were both Oni. Wonderful news to this little Kami, but what could I do. If left they might try to kill and eat me and well, I did not want to fight. Not right now. I watched as the Male Oni finally put on better clothing. "Much better. Now your not showing of various parts of yourself." My voice sounded a little embarrassed as I spoke. Just because I had been on earth for a little while did not mean that I had anything to do with sex. It was just too taboo to me. The only reason I came to earth was because of my pursuit of music. That was my downfall. I did not understand that I would not be able to get back. Ducking my head, I nibbled at my own flesh with my beak as I plucked an offending feather and dropped it to the ground. Then I puffed and ruffled my feathers before going back to my normal look as I perched on the girl's shoulder. My silver eyes glanced from the oni to the bodies and sighed. "Waste not want not, must be your motto. How can you eat humans?" I almost made a wretching sound.

I relax as I watch him get a nice fire going. I like fire. It's destructive, but can give you so much. I hear the bird chirp about Mukesh now having better attire. I look over and nod in approval also. I've never really thought about my clothes. Hmm.. Maybe I wore alot of kimonos before i died. WHo knows. I can't recall anything from before I was an Oni.
An evil grin tugs onto my lips as the bird makes a comment on us eating humans. I giggle and walk over to the stripped down dead man. I grab his arm and pull his body toward the fire with ease. "Its nothing really. I mean.. Some of these humans even eat us Oni thinking they can gain our powers if they do. So why is it wrong for us to in turn eat them?" I say as I stop next to the fire. I don't release the arm I have in my hand. Instead I put my foot on his chest and with a swift tug, rip the arm off the body. Blood begins to seep from the hole I've made, though not alot since the hole through his body left alot of the blood out. I then look to Mukesh.
"Could you get me some big branches so I can make a roasting spit thing," I ask sweetly and rip off the other arms, the sound of me rending flesh and bone filling the area around us in a sweet morbid melody that I love. ! -- STOP TYPING HERE>

“I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts (deedly deedly), there they are a stan-ding in a row (bump bump bump bump)…” the fairy murmurs lightly to himself in a cheerful humor as he buzz-hovers through the forest upon swiftly moving paper light wings. All in all, the fairy stood no larger than half the length of a normal face and would appear more so as a bright glittering light than anything else. He comes to stop at the edge of a clearing and looks down between his hands, each carrying what seemed like pieces of paper. One almost looked like a map, though the language on it wouldn’t be readily decipherable by those who were not fairies. On top of that, the font would be so tiny that it wouldn’t really aid those who were normal size. The other piece of paper seemed to have the odd type of script that was indicative of the fairy language, only in a list like manner. Looking up with a smile on his visage, the fairy discovers, “I’ve made it! The master will be pleased with me… then he’ll be all like ‘yo Paco, you’ve done well!’ and I’ll response, ‘as expected of me, don’t you think master?’ and then he will say, ‘Yes!’” His voice varies between his and a mock deep tone of his master. The fairy puts both fists on his hips and laughs into the heavens with a loud voice emitting, “bwahohohoho!” Of course, with his size, his boisterous laughter would sound no louder than a chipmunk’s squeak, barely audible if the fire was roaring at normal capacity. He looks at this map and then at the lake in front of him, then at the map again. “Is this really a demon spawning lake?...” he wonders outlook. He looks across the lake and notices the fire with… things around it. “Yay!” he squeaks, “maybe they will know!...” The little bug buzzes across the full span of the lake until he makes it to the other side and nears the group by the fire. He clears his throat and places his hands on his hips, hovering above the general area with the group of spirits as he proudly addresses with closed eyes, “simpletons! Hear me!” Still, his voice would be hardly audible above the fire and if no one had looked at him and his sparkling goodness, his presence could be easily ignored.

They bot seemed to approve of the clothing, although it didn't matter for Mukesh. The clothing was for him, not them. He was sitting there as the two conversed. And it only sunk into his mind when the bird mentioned it. Why was he ok with eating a human? Unlike most Oni's he knew, Mukesh had his memories. So he could not simply say it was cause he is a demon.
"You eat what you can to survive. It's as simple as that." He responded for the simple fact that, its what he told himself long ago.
The female Oni, requested some sticks, strong enough that she use to stick the pieces with. He reached to the side of him and from some of the remaining wood he gathered. Grabbed a few of the strongest branches he could feel. He them tossed them over to her. "Iv'e already done my wood gathering. If you need more than that, ask the bird." He responded. He had full filled his half the the task. It was her job to cook the meat.

I watched her pull apart the human. I made wretching sounds and flapped my wings. "By the heavens.." I trailed off as I flew up into the trees. Landing on a branch, I was lucky to not puke my guts out. Instead I closed my eyes and hummed to myself to keep the noise of tearing flesh and snapping bone from getting to me. At least I was strong enough not to puke. I keep telling myself that as I sat up in the trees. I glanced at the male when he mentioned me getting a stick. "I'm not the one going to eat, sweeting."
About this time the little bug came in looking all tasty until it spoke. I blinked and looked at the thing. It was some sort of fairy creature or a flying beetle. It was hard to tell. "Is that a talking bug?" was my question as I watched it. "Normally those things dont talk" I wondered what it was saying.

He didn't know how the woman in the kimono would respond to his answer to her. But it didn't really matter. He wasn't so fickle and horny as to fall for a woman's ploy. He would not be considered as one of her little play things. Mukesh was a fighter, a killer. Women took a back seat to this. the only way she would be part of his life would be in a bed. Other than that, she could go get lost in the forest for all he cared. Until she proved herself useful, she was useless to him.
But the bird spoke up and pointed out something Mukesh had failed to notice himself. There was a little light floating above them. and while this could be passed off as a lightning bug. It was to big for that, and it made a completely different sound. The demon stood up to get a better look at the being, and upon further inspection. It seemed to have a humanoid shape. "First spirit hunting shinobi. Now a fairy? I must be hallucinating." He said as he sat back down, deciding to ignore the thing that was obviously trying to get his attention.

I cackle as the bird flies off. So its got no stomach for gore. How funny. I'll have alot of fun with that little tidbit. I finish up with the human, now that I've disassembled him. That was fun. Like a puzzle that I was breaking apart. But then no one can under the fine art their is in the morbid act I committed. Its sad. No one ever tries to understand me. Death can be made beautiful. I mean.. The guy was dead. Who cares what happens to his body when his spirit is gone?
I sigh and I move to work, setting up the larger pieces till I have the right arrangement to cook the human without burning the body. I look up at they both point something out. I look to see a light floating. I smile. I hold out my hands to it. "Come here big firefly," I chirp, smiling sweetly. I wanna see it up close. I'm just curious. I don't wanna eat it or anything bad. ! -- STOP TYPING HERE>
