It was only a day ago that Ryota got his new name and regained his former abilities. He was in no way my favorite man, in fact, he only compounded my dislike for those within my life. That included most of the males within my school. There was nothing more sickening to me, either, then seeing him eat other demons, but if he got angry, who knows what would happen to me? So it was with great joy for me, though fr most others, that it was now Monday at Saichushigai High School. I would come in with my usual look within the school cloths- uncomfortable and not liking it. I still had the look of a submissive girl, though I could change that at any time I wished, I supposed. My emerald green eyes would lock onto my locker and I would open it, adding and subtracting things from my school bag. I was doing it with a happy look and a more chipper look on my step. At the door I had collected my school shoes, which I was now tapping to make sure that they were on there alright, and they were. With a gleeful smile, I would turn and make my way to class. I was not the first, but not the last. I pulled my bag across my chest area- I was not well endowed within that region of my body compared to other girls, and sat down near the front, by the window. A low sigh would escape my lips as I looked out the window, waiting for class to start. The window allowed me to see the outside world and the advances of any from within the classroom. The day itself was beautiful, though it would soon be winter. She would enjoy the time until then.

	A yawn idly makes its departure from the girl’s lips as she continues to saunter down one of the many hallways of school. The night prior, she’d slept like a log with all of the events that happened in the past week with the scarcest amount of slumber induced. She deems it to be inconceivable to ever be able to tell her Mother or Father the occurrences of Yesterday, and luckily they spoke nothing of note besides the already frequent concern. “...I believe in the faith that grows,” The girl hums, already bestowing a desire to do so due to the earbuds connected to her iPod currently positioned within her ears. “And the four right chords can make me cry...” Eventually, Kyo comes across what appears to be her locker. It is a necessity to equip herself with the appropriate books before heading to homeroom, of course. Rotating the small, metallic device to the digits of her locker code she pulls and causes it to unlock before pulling it free from the locker. Opening she retrieves necessities, places her exquisite music player into presumably her coat pocket in the confines of this enclosed space before closing the door. She begins towards homeroom, entering and taking her seat respectively by a girl whom she still had not gotten to know. She stretches broadly, almost touching the desk behind her which apparently startles the male. Settling in her seat she pushes her cheek against the support of her open palm before eyeing the individual next to her sleepily with hazel eyes briefly. Her attention shifts back towards the phone she held so forbiddingly within her hand, smiling sheepishly at an apparent text message. [March 31st: Success.]

My emerald eyes would shift a bit, their gaze focused on the auburn haired girl that was now sitting next to me. A small smile slipped on my face- about the only thing I knew about her was her name, from roll call. I had transfered to this school a while ago, about three years ago in fact. It had been hard to adjust to the new settings: what with that demon inside of me, I couldn't think of what to do. Now I was doing much better, and I would turn my head to look at the girl with a happy smile- there was still about five minutes before class, so I thought 'why don't I at least introduce myself'? I would notice her cell phone after her sheepish smile and wait a few moment before saying quietly, "Ohaiyo gozaoi masu, Akiyama san. Ogenki desu ka." It was formal- very formal. But I was just like that. Always formal with those that I just met. But, there was something about her... there was something that I had noticed only recently about my class mate. My thoughts really never touched it, and I wouldn't focus on it now, just before class. During break I would go to the roof and have a talk with Ryota if no one was there. I needed to ask him a few things. I had my patience while waiting- something that, besides my look of submission, was known about me. An annoying joke that boys used, saying that I should quit school and become a shyuhe- a house wife. I would never want that, I don't think I could stand just doing house chores every day and making all the meals and all the other menial house tasks day in and day out.

	A yawn departs idly from the brunette’s mouth. Her hand is raised before her lips before she glances back towards the individual adjacent to her. Her gaze elongates noticeably as a smile is eased onto her face. “I’m not too bad, Sakura chan~...” Formalities are generally something Kyou doesn’t bother to use. The apparel of her eyes and the overall expression she bore heavily made implication of teasing. Mayhaps not really in a negative way considering what the honorific ‘chan’ meant. Though, at that moment she couldn’t tell if the girl had that much of a magnetic persona. “And you? It’s a pretty nice day, yeah?” She inquires. Her attention had shifted from her phone, and evidently she did possess mannerisms that could be considered formal to a degree. Eye contact was made and she even had departed her attention away from her phone momentarily. Who was she texting? Boys, presumably.

I would be pleasantly surprised at Kyouko's response and weave my fingers together in a sign of joy as my eyes closed with a renewed smile. I wold reply to her question with more pep in my tone, dropping the majority of my formalities, "I'm doing well, Kyoko chan, thanks." My emerald eyes would look upon the pretty green and brown mix of the adjacent girl's own eyes. She had taken her eyes off her cellphone, which made me glade. I would quickly add on, to answer her other question, "Ah, yes, it is a pretty day~. Though winter may ruin it." My last sentence almost ended in a pout, though my happy face came back within moments. Those were my own feelings on winter- a dislike, a sadness. It was winter when I had the most problems, and its was three years ago and a single day that Ryota had come to possess me, oh so close to winter. I would take the time to say, after giving Kyoko the chance to respond if she so wished, "I don't think I've ever spoken to you. Do you think we could talk during the first break?" My hands still weaved together, I wanted to bide my time- use as much of it as possible. Sometimes the girls were cruel and subjected me to the word 'submissive' or the words 'weak minded'. I could show them my demon and scare them to death, but I didn't. Kyoko was one of the few that did not. I had no idea why I was picked on, but if Kyoko was nice to me, hopefully the others would shut their mouths.

	“You don’t like winter either? Say swear...” Kyoko preaches the words in response with a light sigh. It was beautiful in apparel, but she felt that the season in its entirety sucked. One becomes completely reliant on the heating of their house, and simultaneously, even walking to get to the bus in order to reach the school was an irksome task. Especially when the roads were icy... “The only thing I like is that it keeps the bugs away... In summer If I could tan without an ant or fly biting me I swear- it’d be paradise...” She breathes, running the slender frame of her hand through her cinnamon mane of hair. She doesn’t like winter because once she had actually been playing with a few friends outside during the cool temperature. It resulted in a minor frostbite, but overall it made her feelings towards Old Man Winter sour like the succulent body of a lemon.

My emerald eyes lit up when she affirmed that she, as well, disliked the winter, and I would quickly reply in a playful manor, "Swear~!" It was a refreshing thing to meet someone who disliked the winter season as well. Reasons were easy to come by, because even in my car it was annoying when striking ice. I just had luck in never slipping- badly. She would then speak of what she did like about the winter- the the insects were not there to bother her. I would nod my head and say, "Yeah." Though of course my reasons had little to do with the actual season its self. Kyoko would go further, and speak of a new season- summer. Her qualms with it were typical of the upper class, but I belonged to such a class and had similar small grievances with the season, as I would nod my head, adding to her list, "And the tourists... urg, I can't stand them!" They were always annoying, no matter where they came from. I was sure Ryota was laughing it up, wherever he went when I didn'r summon him. But I couldn't focus on him. Kyoko was similar to me, and that made me very curious about her. I wanted to get to know her better, but our first conversation was about to come to a close, our minutes now turned to mere seconds.

	“I’ll hang with you at break, by the way.” Her answer had been slightly delayed due to the things stated that had been stated which in turn distracted her from the seemingly main inquiry. She is slightly surprised due to the fact this girl seemed to bear the same tastes as her. Or well, season wise. Time was elapsing however, and she knew conversation would have to cease for a while. The phone occupying her hand vibrates lightly and she near drops it. Flicking it open and enabling her gaze to shift in that direction, her brow rises as though she’d been trying to maintain a friendly expression, before she conceals it, no other available places, in her shirt and most likely in the confines of her bra. The girl sighs lightly, extending her arm against her desk to stretch it. “I guess the instructor should be here soon...” She yawns lazily.

My earlier request was addressed and she had positively affirmed that we could hang out during break. I would continue to smile and reply, "Great!" Her phone would then vibrate, causing a surprised Kyouko to nearly drop the handheld device. A quick look down and then She went to hide it- which ended up in her shirt, prompting a short giggle from me. She would then say that the sensei would likely be here soon- and no sooner than she finished her sentence then did the homeroom sensei himself enter. He was a tall man- about 1.95 meters. He had messy black hair, though its shine equal hair akin to silk. He wore huge rectangular glasses that shined at times, mostly when he had little control of the room. Today he was wearing a gray suit, completed with a blue tie. His hair seemed a bit messier then usual, but he didn't seem to care as he placed papers down and spoke with firmness and a scratching tone to his voice, "I have the class ranking here..." He would turn his back and pick up the white board marker, his usual bland color- black. He scribbled the rankings, from first to last and then said, "Take a moment to look, then finish any homework for first period that you didn't finish last night." He would stand to the side of the list, almost releasing a yawn from his mouth, but he passed it off as a weird sounding cough. My emerald gaze would fall upon my usual number- the fourth best. My weaved together hands pulled apart as I muttered in a whiny tone, "Always that same ranking... I swear, sensei is mean to me~." I would search for Kyouko's ranking, to see where she had been placed.

	The girl’s eyes lazily lock onto the list that established where she was in the class ranking. She purposely doubts that it is a high ranking in attempts of being modest to whatever God there may be that would hopefully put her at a rank that was at least within the one to ten range. She can no longer restrict the yawn, though does it quietly and subtly. After that weird cough the sensei made she figured this period enabled such gestures. Her boredom seems to catch up to her when he states that he had the class ranking. “I have the class ranking here...” She mocks quietly and underneath the coverage of her breath, her voice purposely sounding as though she were mentally impaired. With luck, it’d be enough to make it sound like it came from the kid, not Sakura, but the other kid adjacent to her. Placing her arms on her desk she places her chin onto the surface of it as well, so her arms were in the way. “...take a moment to look.” She repeats within the same tone, again attempting to make her voice sound masculine. When she looks at the list, she notices her own rank. Her brow raises in surprisal as she detects a ‘three’ close in proximity with her name. She did excel quite the amount in literature...

Emerald eyes catch Kyouko's name just above mine, and a small giggle comes from my lips before I turn and look at the boy to our side- I knew it was Kyouko because she was loser then the boy, but I played it like it was the boy. The teacher himself would turn to the boy next to us, adjusting his classes with a shine flashing onto them as he said, "You... will come and pick up two water buckets and stand outside. You cannot put them down. I will let you back in after homeroom period is over." Readjusting his glasses, the sheen leaves them and then he erased the scores, moved to the desk, and sat down. He glared out at the students as he looked around for other student trouble makers. I would remain calm and then whisper to Kyouko, while not looking at her, "That was very mean Kyouko chan~! Then again, he is a pervert..." I would then pull out a notebook and flip to a blank page; I had finished all my homework. I pulled out a pair of writing utensils: a mechanical pencil and a non-bleed through ballpoint pen, a eraser following them. I asked Kyouko in a whisper, "Do you have a favorite flower?"

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- Her hand clasping a firm hold upon a pen, she bothers not to bring out any eraser or any other educational accessory. Kyou had a tendency of finishing her homework when she got how so she could simply invest all of her time into doing other things. She finds this way is more convenient since the formed habit enables her not to forget about it. It also loosens up beginning of class, like times like these, to be free to do whatever she wishes. She attempts not to snicker in response to the burden that she had made befall this poor boy next to her, and she finds herself combating with her mischievous nature. "Oh god, I couldn't resist..." She whispers subtly. The notebook she withdraws it flipped open, and she begins to scribble down 'something' upon the lined paper. Though, Sakura had questioned something she hadn't been asked in a while. "I like lilacs the most. They smell sweet and are a really nice color... What's your favorite, Sakura chan?" Yes... perhaps it was the connection she could make that fueled this. Smelling nice and looking nice made another thing a lot more efficient. If one were to heed what she was writing down, they'd be able to decipher almost poetic lines and sonnets.

My eyes would close into that happy smile as she responded and then I was asked what mine was. I replied, "Mine is the white lily, but most lilies in general. It stands for purity and hope, and has a sweet smell. I've also heard that it looks good when on a romantic date." I would giggle and then my pencil started onto the paper as I pictured lilacs, my pencil gliding thoughtfully over the page. One may not have known what it was at first- it started out almost like a stick drawing. Art like drawing was an interest and a passion of mine, most might call it a hobby. I kept my spirits up- I had noticed that Kyouko was doing something as well, with pen and paper. Just getting the sketch done took quite some time. But the basics look like a lilac, a healthy one, fully blossomed. But another shape had taken place next to the lilacs: a lily, pointed towards the lilacs. If anyone really took a look at it, some might see it as a suggestion. Well, I did feel like Kyouko and I had things in common; our dislike of winter, grievances of summer, not to mention she and I were both within the top 5 in the class. Seasons perhaps, but it was a start. I felt like I could really like her, though just as a friend for now. I rarely found girls that were totally like me sexually, how I felt. Still, it was okay for her not to like me that way, I couldn't be mad about it. I would whisper to her, "Take a look if you want... it's not done yet, but I hope you don't dislike it." I was feeling shy about this art- a lone lily next to a plethora of the lilac flowers.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- Kyou turns her attention away from the poetry she'd been writing and directs her gaze towards the visual art that Sakura had created. Her lips shift into a smile as her expression reads clearly that she'd been impressed with how the picture had turned out. "I like it. I take it you must practice drawing?" She inquires, feeling the vibration of her cell phone but paying no heed to it. "Here," The girl, having finished the apparent poem, flips open the notebook widely and displays the neatly written context. "It's something I just tossed together. I hope you like it." Underneath the luminance of dawn treads a small fawn. Unbeknownst to this fawn lurks a creature with far more brawn. The soft grass of the lawn is enough to hide the footsteps of the brawn, And the fawn will soon succumb to the superiority of the brawn. Now the fawn is gone; And the existence of the brawn is prolonged.

My shyness was not needed; she did like it, even in this sketch form. She had asked if this was my art- I would nod my head and say, "I may make it a painting." The thing about the white lily was that I idolized the purity in it. I was not pure, one might say tainted with a demon connected to me, by tattoos on both of our backs: falling sakura tree petals. A tattoo showing my fall from purity, when I was young. I would look on as she showed me her poem: it spoke to me, at a level Kyouko would not begin to understand as I nodded, replying, "It's pretty and thoughtful, Kyouko chan." My tone was a little more neutral- the tone change might catch Kyouko's attention, but at this point, I couldn't tell her what it really meant to me. I had been that fawn; and the demon, Ryota, was my brawn. I had no doubt that one day he would pull me down just to prolong his existence. I would not move too quickly nor too slowly; I simply moved my notebook closer to myself as I started to add in details. I thought nothing of it, that I could draw some things without a picture to reference; petals details that were hard to find out unless you actually got close to the flowers. It was because I was looking for a romantic and pure flower to like- looking at them all. As I did this, I would inquire, "Later tonight, Kyouko chan, I'm singing in the Moonbucks. If you want, you can come and see. I don't know if my manager wants one or two sings- usually its just one. But... it would be nice to see someone from school there." I turned my face to her with my usual smile on my face- I had to place it back into place to hide my inner feelings.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- "Thanks." Kyouko responds to the compliment jettisoned in her direction. She doesn't appear to notice she shift in the female's voice as she is catering to her own thoughts. Closing her notebook and placing it back onto the desk, she fixates her twin hazel orbs upon Sakura once more. The girl bobs her head lightly in a nod as she extends her arms above her head, stretching and the relief of such evident upon her face as she does so. "I will. What time will it be, tonight? I don't recall attending one of these before." She states, netting some of her hair behind her ear before repositioning her hand near her cheek to caress friskily the band-aid that had been plastered upon a strangely unwounded strip of flesh. She is a little foggy from the night prior and the plague of exhaustion is present within her voice even despite her efforts at making her voice vacant of such elements. She'd stayed up to quite a late period of time last night and her body was feeling the grotesque affects, internal or not it still made her feel worn as the rotting oak of a shed. "I also didn't know that you sing."

The girl responded in short and then went through a few thoughts of her own I guessed, after stretching her arms. She would agree to see me preform tonight, and needed a time. This brightened my mood as I turned my face to her, replying with a smile plastered on my face, "Seven fifteen should be when I get on. If not, then it should take only five minutes after." I would pull out a piece of regular notebook paper and write down the part of the place, it was one that served drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic, along with regular foods. So even if she had to wait an extra five minutes she could at least eat something or drink something. She would then state that she didn't know that I could sing- I would giggle as I went back to placing details in as I replied, "Actually, there are only a few that know that I sing- yourself included, only another knows. I suppose I just never showed it to anyone because I've been a transfer student- unsure how others would respond." Homeroom was almost done, I would finish with my details soon, and likely ink it later. The teacher adjusted his glasses as he moved to the door to get the student that he had sent out earlier for those annoying remarks. I would giggle to myself as the teacher still did not known that it was not the kid that had said it, that it was really Kyouko.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- "Eh?" An expression of mild bedazzlement seems to occupy her face as she darts her attention towards the girl. "Singing's nothin' to keep away from others..." She taps her pen against the surface of her notebook, a simple gesture spawned from boredom likely to deter its ontogenesis. "I wish I had the time to do stuff like that; but anyways..." Dexterous use of her fingers brings the end of the pen just to one of the corners of the notebook. Through exquisite movements of her fingers she employs them for drawing lines around the border of the notebook, assuring that the curvature of these lines had been fine whilst the line weight had been very soft. On the dead center of the booklet she writes her name in bubble letters before shading the easily legible print opaque at one point and translucent at another. Around said name seemed to be the names of others signed a while ago with how worn the print had been. Not that there had been many - she wouldn't necessarily let there be many.

I dully noted the paper, but there was little about it, besides lightly faded names. I would look back to the paper I was drawing on and I would quickly ink it in before the homeroom was over, in which case we would actually have to do work. A low sigh would slip my lips as the teacher came in to start the lesson.

The classes were two in a low, with a mere 5 minute break between for students to go and grab any books they may have forgotten to. I already had them all, so I would simply sit between the classes and make little changes to the picture. I would make an actual panting later, maybe after Kyouko came to a show. I would silently nod in that moment before I would snap into attention for calculus.

The lunch break would last for thirty minutes, so I turned to Kyouko with a smile on my face.

"So, Kyouko chan, do you want to head to the roof for lunch?"

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- Steering her attention towards the girl she gives an affirmative nod to her. "Sounds good to me." Steadily her attention remains fixated upon this particular girl. A rather husky looking male student approaches slothfully. "Hey, Kyouko, wanna hang with me-" "Nah, not today. Busy." She rebuts, quite easily dismissing his presence entirely before redirecting her gaze back towards Sakura. Solemnly, though bitterly, he wanders on his signature route back towards his party of other males. "You hang around on the roof often for lunch? I barely see yah..." Comments the auburn haired girl whilst pushing herself up from the refuge she previously sought upon her chair. Retrieving an elastic from her pocket she brings her hands just to the back of her head, pushing up the extremely vast amount of hair before tying it up to be much neater than it had been before.

"Mmm, usually I do hang out on the roof. I like the wind, you see. It's a lot more calm then the chaotic world on the grass."

Not to mention I usually mentally spoke with Ryota up there, sometimes I even stayed away from sight and summoned him so that he could get in a stretch or two. Plus he could wonder the roof easily, seeing as he could walk sixty feet from Sakura if he chose to. Or even if ordered.

In any case, I would simply giggle at the reject, though I was a little jealous, because no one had ever done that to me. I would make my way around the various groups after slipping from my sitting perch and would guide Kyouko around to the best staircase to the more secluded then the rest. In fact, one could barely see the rest of the students, after grabbing my lunch. It took a few minutes, though I would wait if Kyouko needed to get her lunch. A light wind would blow through, which was a reason I'd stated I liked to come up.

"So, this is where I eat lunch."

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- After having retrieved her lunch the girl follows along the recluse route they had taken. The light breeze pushes through her chocolate filaments of hair as she crosses her arms just below her chest, her hand gripped firmly around the handle of the presumed lunchbag. She nods affirmatively, as if her approval of the placement had been received. "I like it..." She begins, stepping into proximity of Sakura. "Not too fancy, breeze is good, quiet... Nobody to bug you like a flock of pigeons..." She comments bitterly with all reference towards their fellow peers. Steering her attention towards her Sakura would be greeted by a glimpse of what seemed to be a smile. "I'll come up more often, aye?" She comments, or perhaps beseeches mundanely.

It seemed her assessment of the place went well, and she liked it- that gave me a happy smile, since I wasn't sure how she would react, being away from most of the other students. I just hoped that none of those perverted boys had followed us, thinking they could get away with anything. Ryota wouldn't permit that. I would give a small smile inside to that, and then turned to Kyouko as she turned to me with a smile- at least it looked like one. she said she would come up more often and I would give a bigger smile, nodding.

"I would like that a lot, Kyouko chan. Just don't tell anyone about this spot. It'll be our secret spot, kay?"

I would then sit down in a traditional seiza position, legs foled with the upper and lower legs touching as I would pull out my lunch. A rather funny lunch, it was a banana, a can of kiwi strawberry juice, a few meat buns within a tin (all of them pork), and a box of rice, which was soon followed by chopsticks. I would smile at Kyouko, wondering what she had for lunch.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- "Of course." She begins as she too takes a seat. Her position differs nevertheless. It had been mirroring the traditional meditative position, crosslegged. Placing her lunchbag before her she opens it up, causing the signature ripping noise of velcro being pulled apart. There are a trio of items within its confines; she firstly withdraws a thermos, a can of juice, and a bag of chips. First, she opens the can of juice. It was labelled tomato juice, but it sure didn't smell like it. That aside, she keeps the bag of chips closed whilst she steadies her attention upon the thermos. Opening it up the air becomes wealthy with a potent smell of chili. The very last concealed item of the lunchbag had been a spoon, which she promptly takes out and dips into the fervid, chunk filled substance. Steam emanates from the opened vessel like smoke out of a chimney. She brings it to her lips, quickly depositing it into her mouth. "Like any boys?" She questions erratically.

I would quickly look back up to answer the question with a light smile on my face.

"I do, but no crushes yet."

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- "Ah, I see..." Kyou begins as she begins to take another mouthful from the confines of the thermos. Swallowing, she keeps her eyes upon the girl with a steady fixation that never waned. "Better off that way. So many guys approach me I'm almost sick of looking at them. To have anything like me as an asset of their miserable lives? Weaklings." The girl shakes her head suddenly as if pulling herself out of a particular trance. Strange. "Anyways..." Dismissively she begins whilst chuckling gingerly. "Have you ever asked one of them out?" It seemed to fit along the lines of mundane girl chatter. It had been somewhat refreshing to be able to tend such in such a nonchalant way.

It'd been a while since I had relaxed like this and would converse like this. It was a lot more relaxing in of its self, despite the subject of boys. I really had little interest in them, at the moment. But I had to answer questions like this, and it was making me a bit uncomfortable, though it wouldn't show to any degree. I'd gotten used to hiding unwanted emotions ever since Ryota and I had signed that contract.

"Mmm, not at this school. At my last one I did, though he never showed up. How about yourself, Kyouko chan?"

A truth, but it wasn't what made me dislike girls. Not that she would understand, and I wasn't about to tell her my whole past. It was a mess and would take a few lunches. One might think it strange without Ryota being added into the mix. But I was warming up to Ryota, since he was, well, my protector in this world filled with spirit's and their demonic hordes or even angelic.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- Large, though elongated brown eyes shift their gaze from her chili she still had been tending, to the girl. "I'm not big on asking myself; if I have interest, I wait until I am invited." She comments in a very insouciant manner. Netting some of her bangs out of her vision she reaches for the can. Opening it she brings it to her lips. Mmm... 'tomato juice'. "Hey, Sakura chan... At some point tonight I do have something I shall show you..." She says as she places the can back down before her near the thermos. "Sure hope you'll be able to look at me the same way. It'll be like a test of mettle, yeah? Or to butter it with more sugar, a test of trust." She pulls the spoon to her lips once again, repeating the same procedure she had gone through before.

I would smile lightly at her comment and nod my head- that would seem to work a lot better, but it was no secret that I dressed in gothic classical cloths after school. Who'd want to go around with a girl like that these days, eh? Not that I cared much for male companionship. It seemed that girls, like Kyouko, were far more in tune with what I preferred to talk about. And I'd yet to see a girl that was as obsessed with sex as males were.

Kyouko then said something that I found kind of strange- that she would show me something tonight, and that she hoped that I could look at her in the same light, and hold the same trust that we were giving each other now. I would nod my head, and then remembered about the singing that I would be doing. I brought out the piece of paper that I had written on and would hold it out to Kyouko, since laying it down would likely have it blown away. While with my other hand, I showed some skill at opening a juice can with one hand.

"I'll be singing in the Moonbucks, on the bottom floor of this place (this was indicated on a small map on the side, labled and with the overall label of Gothstone). These are directions on how to get to the part that I'll be at. I hope you can make it. Do you remember the time I said in homeroom?"

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- Kyou nods affirmatively in response to the girl's words. The time frame which she had said had been easily digestible and easily manageable. If it differentiated and were say... twelveish, then it would require arduous efforts in order to sneak out at that time. Taking another drink of the thin substance she places it back down lightly. "Quarter after seven." She says as she brings another spoonful of the chili to her lips. Putting the spoon back she begins to fidget with the plastic coat of the bag of chips. Neatly opening it she shifts its placement close in proximity with the adjacent thermos. "And then something along the lines of a possible five minute delay." She recites while stirring the remaining heated food.

I would have finished my rice by now, so I set the wooden box to the side and pulled out a meat bun, it was still steaming and I licked my lips, biting into it. I would pull away a decent amount, but I didn't have the amount a guy would have had. I chewed and would relax a bit, moving from the seiza and pushing my legs to the right side. I would tilt my head to the side as I took another bite from the bun and after chewing and swallowing, I would ask Kyouko a question.

"So, what time do you want to show me that something?"

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- "Whatever time you finish. Probably about five or ten minutes after." Kyouko begins as she withdraws a chip from the bag. Placing it into her mouth a sonnet of death passes with the crunching and disfiguration of the chip. She didn't necessarily like chips all that much. This made her clueless as to why her mother packed it in here. And that's why she mundanely got her Dad to do the lunches... Stirring around the remaining chili she tilts her head to the side slightly. "I doubt you'll like what I'm going to show you, you know." She says as she holds out the chili as if presenting it to the girl. She fills the spoon and steadily holds it before the girl. "Want to try it?" She dares with a sly smile adorning her visage.

So she thought that I wouldn't like what she was going to show me- not likely. I've seen plenty of demons, not including the demon housed within my own self. But I would only give her a light smile at that- perhaps it was a knowing smile, like I had a guess at what she wanted to show me- but I had no idea, it was more like I'd a guess.

"Alright. But don't worry about it, Kyouko chan. I'm sure that it will be fine."

She would stir her chili and then offer me a bite of it. I would then offer her a piece of my meat bun in return as I would take a bite from her spoon, without any hesitation. Not that I cared if any boys would have been watching. I didn't display any skills that they would have liked to see anyway. Or at least a majority of the perverts anyway.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- As an offering due to the faint glimpse of benignity Kyouko had shown a piece of the meat bun had been presented to her. From its apparel it looked utterly delicious even despite how infrequently she truly had something alike it. In all normality she would generally prefer things deemed 'healthy' such as a sub or a meat speckled salad. Oh no, she could not consume much of anything that is purely herbivorous - it would be much like a wolf being forced to eat vegetation. Taking a bite of the meat bun and consuming it briefly she decides to take this opportunity to finish off the remainder of her chili. She does so in moderately sized scoops, but is nothing along the lines of ravenous. Surprisingly as she ate that piece of the meat bun there had been a lack of any specific... suggestive motives, which may have been beneficial in this perv infested territory. Triggering their attention wouldn't be a good idea. It was much like dropping some meat to feed vultures; they would be just as persistent. "If you say so." She comments plainly.

I chewed on her chili and then sat back with a small smile as I nod and then sit back as the wind blew gently. I took some sips from my can of juice and then I would look down at the remaining food. Dawson always backed too many things for me. I would finish off my meat bun and start on another as I would calmly eat. The comment that Kyoko uttered would gain a silence between the two. However, I would go off subject of that.

"So, Kyouko chan~... do you like any boys?"

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- "Eh?" I begin. I put the thermos back into the lunchbag seeing as I had been done with it. "Can't say that I do, really. Any boy that I went out with just wanted to be in the relation for the wrong reasons. That's not what you get a damn girlfriend for." I admit as I wrestle my hand into the bag of chips. Withdrawing a handful I peck at it, casually tossing one individually into my mouth. "All these girls these days are so boy crazy. There's nothing to be crazy over, y'know?" Those were my thoughts on the matter anyways. There was a difference between love and admiration, I wasn't naive enough to not be blind to that fact. The salted chips had been provoking thirst so I quickly take a sip from the can I had orginally been drinking from. "If I were ever with someone for real, they wouldn't have to be like me, they'd just have to know me." The meaning behind it may have been obscure, but I was coherent with those words.

I would nod my head at what she said, a small smile had slipped onto my lips at what she said- it was all true in my eyes. Too much of the 'into boys' thing. I knew of girls that just went out with boys without knowing a single thing about them, just because they were 'good looking' or had 'good social standing'. I would take a sip of my kiwi strawberry drink and then I would nod to her last statement. Yes, my thoughts were aligned with her after stating her first statement. I'd had lots of time to think on it, after all.

"Yeah. There are too many relationships based on false illusion and mins games. Even the body of the other. It'd sickening to me in some ways. I would be fine with someone that just knew me too. If they knew me, even if they were completely different, then they would more then likely want to be with me, right?"

After that I took the last bite of my meat bun and I was down to my last food item, a banana. Ohh, cruel twist of fate. Oh well. I would peal the banana quickly and would take a quick bite of it, chewing mindfully. Then again, I wondered if I could still go wrong with that, only to end up with the wrong person. I rather depressing though, to be honest, so I would shove it aside as would put my rice and meat bun boxes back, waiting for a response.

	So, so, insidious. ------------------------------- I nod in response. I toss a chip into my mouth crushing it briefly between twin molars. Her opinion was pretty much alike mine and differed very little. I was pretty glad that someone had been this similar to me; for a while now I thought most of these people here had just been the same. I finish off the can of red substance and place it back into the bag. There only had been a few more chips left in the bag so I decided to savour them and eat them a bit slower than I had been previously. Indeed, they were plain flavour. But I was sick of the idiots criticizing me because I preferred something without an artificial taste intact. Barbecue is exceptionally gross, no offense... "I agree. If you've got two people who are exactly the same, it's not as good as a combination of differing personalities. If you've got two shy people it ain't gonna work out. It's like trying to put together two rocks in comparison to mixing salt with water." I say securely.

Calmly I would nod and sat back as I was biting into the banana quickly and finishing it off. I had never thought I'd meet someone like Kyouko. I would finish off what was left of the banana and place it into the bag, and had the kiwi strawberry drink in my hand as I sipped it, nodding to Kyouko's statement.

I would sit in silence for a bit, since we would just keep repeating our resentments towards the subject. However, I did have some others I wanted to know. But, that would have to wait for later as I checked my watch. I would release a low sigh.

"We better head back so we're not late. Then we'll have to hold water buckets in the hall."

	"Yeah. Let's get going." I place my belongings back into the lunchbag quickly seeing as time had been running thin. I remain nonchalant but the thought of holding water buckets was beginning to take its toll. My brow wrinkles underneath the weight of the previous statement. They make me hold buckets and I'll be glad to use it to show them what their brain looks like... I pick up the bag at last, shifting my gaze around briefly as the words, "all right, lets go." part from my lips. You know, I was in a wild variety of clubs I could have went to this lunch. But for some reason this encounter did not seem like a mere waste of time; soon I would be establishing the 'truth'. Probably too farfetched for a human to believe.

I would nod once she was ready and head back down to the classroom, and after dropping off our lunch boxes (and if Kyouko needed her books she could get them), a low sigh wanted to slip from my lips at the door. Not about the meeting her, but it was a good sigh, like I was relived about something. I would close an eye as I turned around to her and then opened the door. We weren't the last ones in, but we were not the first either. I would go over to my seat and picked up my books that I had for the rest of school. I would look at Kyouko to see if she needed her bag, and had less to carry then me.

We had only a few minutes before class would start, but I was really feeling that we had a great time. It'd been a while since I had a good talk, had a 'girl time' talk, with no boys. Boys that didn't care about that. It was really something I didn't like about them, but there was nothing I could do about it. Just like I knew plenty of guys that didn't care about talking about those inner sorts of things- or at least all the boys I'd meant, that didn't want to get into your pants, then they might 'listen'. But I guessed there were guys out there that did care- I just don't think I'll ever meet one that does.

	Entering the classroom warrants an unsuspected wave of heat. It was pretty hot outside, too. No wonder she thinks. She uses her hand like a handkerchief as she wipes it across her brow, her route southbound as she makes her way to the back of the classroom. Kyouko moves through the throng of students swarming around like marching columns of ants, ignoring comments that may have jettisoned towards her. Her fingers pry at the bottom of the window, opening it up. She is greeted by a familiar breeze, cooling her down as it touched her forehead like cool fingers. The air on the moist hair that bordered her hairline is like an arctic wind. She is also not interested in whatever class this was. She admits to herself that she lost track. The girl has a tendency to dedicate her efforts towards literature instead of plucking organs out of frogs or walking through forests to look at their mottled ecosystem. Briefly heading out of the classroom discreetly she is bound for the fountain down the long hallway. She knows that if she didn't get back in time she'd be punished but she also did not care. Fortunately, someone like her would simply use the holding of waterbuckets as an excuse to strengthen her arms. In addition, a punishment like that would be better than class. "Oi, Kyouko..." She turns around quickly. "What is it?" "You got anything going on tonight?" The teenage vascubus dismisses him entirely, continuing towards where she'd been going. This is exactly what her and Sakura had been talking about. She believes that he is not even worthy of her attention. She does not reply at all. "Oh come on, don't be like that..." He places his hands on her shoulders as he saunters widely towards her. In her eyes he is ugly, shameless and a perfect representation of what you'd see in the slums. Suddenly, she turns around on her heel. "You dog!" Her arm arches back as her fist immediately collides with his face. His nose crunches underneath the pressure, like a eighteen wheeler versus a casual spider. She may have sprained or broken a finger in the process but it was worth it. It had been a haymaker as if she had the intent to break through glass. Serves him right. A grin comes onto her face as she sees him cradle his nose in the middle of the hall. Blood comes from his flared nostrils like water from a tap. She used this opportunity to get to the bathroom and get the blood off of her hands. She needed to, especially before it dried.
