Innocence [Closed]

A silver Mercedes parked just by the sidewalk starts, having been inhabited by Kyo and her father. The man nets his hair behind his ear as he puts the car on drive and turns the key in its respective area. There is a smooth rumble, before he backs into the driveway, and steers whilst pushing the pedal down slightly to move the car in the opposing direction. One hand on the wheel, his other extends to the handle on the inside of the door as he proceeds to roll down the window. Cool air floods the car like a broken drainage system.
“It’s too bad your Mother is busy with her Mother today,” He begins, turning to face the young youth sitting within the passenger seat. “Would have been nice if she came along. But, a little Father-Daughter time should be fun.” He nudges her arm slightly with his elbow, causing the girl to smile slightly. Her attention departs from him and fixates towards her window. She rolls it down as well, feeling the winds run through her hair as though they were on a marathon.
“Setting up camp would have been a lot easier, too.” Kyo states with a quiet sigh. The duo had been going on an innocent camping trip as a mean of spending time as a family. Kyo’s Mother however appeared to have shopping or some other variant of business to attend with her Mother. She doesn’t mind this seeing as it is a hot day and very suitable for camping.
“Hey Dad?”
“Hm?”
She hesitates, tapping her fingers along the border of the glass window. Her broad smile diminishes and her eyes become vacant of their happy emotion. There is something grotesque and ominous she wishes to state, but she simply cannot find the words to express it. It would disappoint him.
“Nevermind- it’s nothing. Hey! We should stop at the store on the way and pick up some soda.” She’s successful- she’d changed the subject, and that was her intention.
