The Lower Commons Red District also holds Club Hype, a large well known club with several floors, each floor offering a different experience ranging from urban, techno and rock. It's known for the concerts held there by popular celebrities as well as its free buffet. Security is tight here.
Time: 8:45 pm
The sun has set. The Red Light District glows with neon lights. Strobe lights are set up around the building and rock back and forth. The light pillars can be seen from miles around. Smoke machine's pump out mist in the area to add a creepy effect. The large main concert stage outside the club is set up, but covered in a large tarp. The huge 3 floor megatron video screen flashes the message "happy holloween" with a count down to the party and party music playing. The countdown timer is on 15m. The doors to the main club haven't opened yet. There is already a huge line and gathering outside of Club Hype. The line goes all away round the block. Finding parking is next to impossible. Valet is the fastest way to get in and out of your car. The streets are packed with people. Almost everyone is dressed in costumes, with only a few people not dressed up. Street performers perform in... the streets (i.e. fire breathers, etc). People show off their costumes, some go around and take pictures of others. The entire street in front of the club is swamped with people. Security is forced to create a single line in order to let valet through. Security teams keep the line straight, direct traffic and guard the main stage. Security inside the building make their final preparations. A helicopter from above covers the venue. The party looks like it's at least three blocks wide. Large holloween props like 2 story high tomb stones are set up against the building, by the stage and random places. The sound of music and people drown out noise like a sea. The atmosphere is ecstatic. This were just starting up.

Using Magic at the Hype!:
Strife's not only a highly intelligent business man. He's very wise about the workings of the world. He knows the deal with spirits and caster's to spirits and humans. STILL, he's managed to keep his club thriving and in one piece in the Lower Commons. He has precautions in place to prevent damage to his club!
SoundOriented Speakers Hidden around the club are small tweeters that produces an inaudible high pitched sound that actively interrupts the magic channeling process. The sound is so fine tuned that it does not cause any discomfort to those listening to it. The loud music of the club plays over this sound with no interference. Effect: Stun - A mental or nervous hindrance that disables the target's ability to use spells or powered techniques. Stun disables the use of Ω techniques.
Party Myst! Almost the same formula used by Division 12! Illegally gained! This "party smoke" contains a very faint static field that lingers and interferes with the ability of magic to be used in the effected area. Effect: reduces magix to novice level within the fog
The combo of these two effects have kept his club safe from destruction ever since the Propaganda incident.

(( um... i'll need a few ppl to work npcs around the club for me... kyro and kaz, ur both up. i'll do more in my next post on a day that's not monday. any suggestions can be send to the ooc/signup thread and i'll try to incorporate that. members w/bands post on the sign up threads and post where you want to perform... like which floor or outside, etc. um... if i think of anything else.. i'll edit it and put it here. ))

Party? As if.
The party, as it would be called, that would be located within the Lower Common’s Red Light District was no small amount of news within Sai City. By the time of its commencement it would be well known throughout the city. I viewed it as a time for those people who were into that sort of thing, to go all out and somehow enjoy the atmosphere that came with pretending to be imaginary and supernatural things.
Unfortunately…
For me and the people who protected the city with me, these things were neither imaginary, nor were they supernatural. They were real and a part of my everyday life. On top of being real, they were a threat to the people of the city who blindly entertained such an atmosphere. The entire concept of Halloween invited catastrophe; human parading as demonic entities of all kind gave chance to demonic entities parading as humans. Halloween was a night that tempted tragedy, and with the current events of a city that should be weathered and tired of such things, I could not idly stand by and assume everything would be alright this night.
The party itself attracted huge crowds, such to the point where it overflowed for several blocks. In this sense, I viewed it as a distraction. The fact still remained that there was a demonic puppet master out there somewhere with an unknown agenda. There was nothing to say that a night like this wouldn’t be the best possible night for a mass catastrophe to occur. The smaller issues would no doubt occur here and there; murders would be performed in alley ways, people mistaking demons for trick or treat’ers would be tricked with their life as the tender for learning. Even with deaths expected to occur in this night, I would make sure all precautions were made to mitigate the loss of lives of the city’s human residents on this night.
As such, this would be one of the busiest nights for the Division outside of ‘wartime.’ A large number of units would be on call with mobile units stationed around the city, generally on the borders between areas, in case they need to respond to an emergency quickly. Ground units would be disguised as normal citizens, walking the streets and various venues of gathering. Northern Heights and various areas of East City would have the lowest Division presence, but other areas in East City, Gothstone and the Academic areas would have units set and prepared to intercept emergency calls. Southern Lower Commons would not be as much of an issue and Gunshyne Bastion was more than capable of defending itself. The city was a massive area to cover, but I felt I had it covered the most efficiently. I worried the most about Gothstone, since I figured they would take the holiday to the furthest extreme and it just worked out that the Red Light District was near the Gothstone border. In all of this, I did not centralize majority of force on the party venue, because as previously stated, it was my belief that if anything, it would be used as a distraction if something occurred.
In the best possible location to respond to anything that may occur on any section of the massive city, I found myself in the City Metro in the command room of the Division 12 HQ. The barrier was actively reporting any type of spiritual activity from shoukou to higher orders. Drone scouts were in the skies searching for large pockets of spiritual activity as well. The sensors along the fence that surrounded the city would be scanning a mile out for any type of reaction from the forest.
I stood in my black Division 12 uniform with my arms folded behind a panel of operators in front of several large screens that reflected scenes of the city in my eyes having a view of the entire city. The operators and controllers were monitoring security cameras around the city, even traffic light cameras, to get the jump on any crime before it started. I would not allow room for another saga to occur, nor would I permit the city to take the damages that it did in the recent months. My only regret was that we didn’t have the mobile units completed and out of testing yet, to be used to secure various areas. As a commander, and the sole man responsible for protecting Sai City in its entirety, I would hold my post as well as hope and pray that the men and women who served under me would have a leisurely not and not be forced to perform their city to protect the city from a wide scale catastrophe.
Weighed against an entire city’s protection, a party was nothing.

It was a time to relax or try as much as he could at any rate from recovering from his first taste of combat that he had with the demons. He had managed to do better in his first confrontation, but his body had suffered a lot of superficial damage which hadn't properly healed by the time the party had rolled around. He had been planning to go too the party from the beginning of the month, so he had bought a outfit that would dress him up as one of his favorite childhood heroes, Gi.I Joe. The combat vest and fatigues felt good on him as he got out of the cab he had rented to take him there, and he had a fake id in hand just in case he needed to use it too get into the club itself. He was at the edge of the masses, and it would take some time to work his way through the crowds and get into the club itself. Kuina needed to wait for one person though, which sent a shiver down his spine. "Maybe he won't show up." The blond said to himself as his hand ran over the fake replica of the gun that Joe used; though, he needed to talk to the spirit anyways about the incident with the spider bitch that had tried to kill him. He would just lean up against a lamppost and wait for the usual flamboyant entrance of Izuya.

Unfortunately, there is no flashy entrance this time. Izuya simply walks up in front of Kuna dressed in his costume and says “moo.” He pauses there and simply stands there, allowing Kuna to take in that it was indeed he. It was far too normal to arrive in a flashy manner, plus Izuya did not wish to draw attention to himself. The brunette would be clearly recognizable, at least facially, dressed in a yellow suit with a tail and a hood that had the ears and head portion attached. “Of course I would show up,” Izuya smiles, standing in front of Kuna-kun, “it’s a date after all. Plus look at all these people! This is going to be fun!” His side turns to Kuna as he frowns, “you’re too stiff already… mou… I want to get on the dance floor and dance until I pass out!” Looking to his cohort, he fakes a frown, “please tell me you can dance, Kuna-kun…” He would not even hint on the topic of the fateful delivery he sent Kuna on, it was all in a day’s work, not even worth mentioning in Izuya’s mind. By now, whatever trauma that might have been onset by Shiko had passed and Izuya was ready to have a good time… maybe at the expense of others.

It was the party of the year and I had been hyped for it for more than a week! Though I did not really dress up in the traditional Halloween outfit, I did dress up. MY outfit consisted of a red tutu and a top that were 4 inches wide that covered what it was able to cover of my breasts. My feet were neatly decorated with a par of red high heels, which made me stand almost half a foot taller than I would in average shoes. My hair were pulled up into pigtails and decorated with red stripes that added to the devilish effect the two horns atop my head did. I knew that the area around the club would be hell, especially for the traffic, which was why I hiked along with one of the security teams that was heading the same way, making it like a dream to get through the traffic and all the way to the main entrance.
On the ride, more than one of the guards had given me compliments, smiles and attempts to peek under the skirt line. I felt flattered to have ten men drooling of me as I were sitting on my hands and tangling my feet while looking out the window, well aware that all of the men in the car had begun to create images of a hot night with the hot devil sitting in between them. Coming to halt at the main entrance, two of them picks me up and lifts me carefully out of the car and places me with a gentle landing on the red carpet that were meant for the VIP’s. Having my badge equipped on the tiny top, I began to stroll around and carefully flirt with the guards that were standing around. I knew that I wouldn’t see anyone from the metro, and I knew that Jyn was somewhere in the area, glued to a screen or several screen along with the technician team. Shaking my head, I would look at the entrance before I would enter through it, having a devil’s smile on my lips as I could get accustomed to getting early entrance thanks to my badge – though many would look at it as nothing a officer should do, I still would do it, because I could and it was fun, since who could be mad at a woman when they used their puppy eyes?
Inside, I would be greeted by another officer from the SCPD which would tell me about the certain problems that they had with the floors and the security at certain bottlenecks such as elevators, stairs etc. Giving my opinion on the matter, the officer decided to see if they were doable and left me to myself. Strolling around the first floor, I eventually ended up at the bar with a few other people, one of them being the DJ for this floor, while the others were higher in the building doing the same.

He was only mildly surprised at seeing Izuya coming in a realitively normal fashion, but the surroundings were not very conducive for a grand entrance. Chilled blue eyes regarded the spirit. "Your antics is what keeps my stress levels so high. I know that you were behind that courier incident, but right now I'm here to enjoy the party and try to forget about the shit you've pulled." He would say not really caring at this point for Izuya's antics. He would push off from the lamppost and start making his way through the crowds of people. "I know how to dance just fine." He would respond in a curt manner as he kept moving through the crowds. His eyes would occasionally flicker over the more provocative costumes being worn, but Kuna was just window browsing while he moved through the crowds.

A singular entity leaned back against a leather seat while gazing aimless through the window. Two other bodies, shaded in the darkness were there as well, but talking with each other instead of with the blonde. The invitation had came to the academy underground, letting me know that someone was at least keeping tabs. I pondered the odds of there being a military presence at this little shindig. Wondering who may be watching, I accepted. Right now, I would simply watch the city lights while we pulled into the red light district. All the time I had spent in the old days had let my hair grow wild, so a trim had been needed before the festivities. Now that a familiar white suit was on, there was nothing to do but move forward. The seasons had changed while I had been gone, midterms were currently in session at the Venturion Academy, and all was going well. With my bearings straight, it was time to kick back and relax. Conquest could continue tomorrow. A smile would come from my lips while my eyes gained sight of our destination. "ladies, please.. we have arrived." The black limo would pull into the front of the club, lightly stopping while the door was opened. Stepping from the darkness was a single, black heel of seven inches, and a lady with long, glistening hair. Her dress was tight and rather promiscuous. Stepping to the side, another lady nearly matching, but in a red dress. The red dress, held up by a lady with sandy blonde hair, barely touched the ground. Between the two, a blue light would spark before emerging to the pavement. Wearing a familiar white suit, a blue shirt, and a white tie, I was perfectly at home here.
The crowd was large and ecstatic, and several other business men and organizational leaders were probably going to be attending this party. Taking each of the ladies in an arm, they would escort me up the stairs towards the door. The red carpet was beautiful, and to those who paid close attention, my feet would never actually touch the ground. It was halloween, the night when my kind were the focus. I only hopped that we wouldn't be the center of negative attention. There was a line of cars behind ours, so before we knew it the limo was gone. With a sigh, I would look up to the doors before turning to the crowd. It was a beautiful sight to behold. For many, the question of why an academy director would be here was in thought. For those who knew of my underground organization that was doing heavy research and development on spirit energy, it made sense. After all, energy drinks were highly popular right now, and there was a large market for testing on the human populace. Maybe I would get lucky and run into the owner tonight while upstairs. Mixed into the crowd, seven of my agents would be hidden in costume, mingling with the locals before the club opened. Their duty was simple, protect the people and make as many observations that they could.
Standing up next to the ladies who normally assisted me at the academy, I looked at the neon lights with a smile. It felt good to be back... party time.

Holloween at Da Hype
I sit with my legs cross and my arms folded under my chest as I sit inside the limo. My foot taps the air, as I stare at the new girl sitting next to our agent with my red eyes before I hear a, "Holy shit look at all of these people!" My gaze shifts of at Ikki and Kazu looking out the window. Rei pulls at the end of her short skirt of the rabbit costume. "I want to double check the stage when we get there." My eyes shift back to our agent. A sweat bead draws on his face as he gives a nervous nod. The limo come to a stop at the VIP enters. Our nervous agent clears his throat, "Miss Kuga," My eye twitches, "please remember to behave yourself, and try not to do anything violent..." before he can finish speaking my foot comes up and strikes him in the forehead. "I told you not to call my Miss Kuga! Now open the damn door and show them our passes..." He rubs the mark on his forehead as the new chick that I have named blondy asks if he is ok. Ikki and Kazu are laughing at him, "Good thing she likes you dude.... You would have been shot it she didn't." He scrambles to get the door open just to end up falling to the ground when the door opens from the outside. I let out a sigh before stepping over him with my tall boots clicking as the hit the ground. Dressed as the Queen of Hearts, the rhinestone crown gliders in the light. Rei steps out behind me holding onto the long train that is attached to the short flowing skirt of my outfit. She is trying to hide her bunny outfit. Blondy is dress as Alice, Ikki comes out looking like Slash from Guns N' Roses with his Mad hatter outfit on, and Kazu comes out in just a pair of stripped boxer with some car ears on his head and spiked collar. I stop for pictures to be taken and a short interview with Vide TV before going off to the main stage. Vide reporter, ex-idol Ayumi Hamasaki "Ayu": "There is Death Devil's lead singer Natsuki Kuga." Lead singer of Death Devil, Natsuki Kuga: "Oh wow, It's Ayu! I'm a big fan or your." "Ayu": "Aww thanks, I really like your costume." Nastuki: "Thanks, I thought the wonderland theme would be nice for the night. Even got the guy to dress up . They seem to be really enjoying it and I thought the fans would too." "Ayu": "You guys are opening tonight, how does that feel. Are you nervous any?" Nastuki: "Not really. This is the biggest crowd we have ever played for but we been working really hard on some new songs in the studio for the past few months and we have a new member to the band. She is really good the studio gave us a lot of help finding her." "Ayu": "Thanks for taking a moment to speak with us Natsuki, good luck with the show." Nastuki: "It's no problem. Hey maybe I'll see you inside later."

Holloween at Da Hype! NPC MODERATION
Sitting in one of several offices within Club Hype, a man that very few know much about looks at a wall of Live Definition security feeds showing the lines forming outside and all the people in different costumes. To the right of front entrance are the lines for General Admission, closest to the wall, and Promoter Guest List Admission, which is next to GA. To the left of the front entrance is the line for those who have purchased VIP wristbands at a premium to GA admission prices and next to them are those who are waiting to be confirmed for Bottle Service. There is a more discrete entrance around the side of the building for true VIPs of the evening. He smiles as all of the lines are longer than normal, which lets him normally that his marketing team will be getting a bonus after this event.
The man's true name is unknown to those outside of his inner circle and it is rumored that he has strong history and ties to the Sai City Underworld. His street name doesn't help at all to dispel such rumors. Covered from head to toe in a three piece dark, storm grey on black thin pinstripe suit, minus the tie. Just by observing the fit, it is obvious to see that it was tailor made for him. His shirt is a deep storm grey with a starched collar unbuttoned at the top with diamond cuff links. Peaking out from the pocket of the vest is a platinum chain connected to a platinum time piece with a diamond encrusted symbol on the back of it, which he checks before turning to leave out of his office. His shoes look like they were spit shined for hours. As he turns around to walk out, he hears a voice in his ear. "Mr. Strife, sir, Zun Mei and Zun Vass have just arrived." The man known as Strife responds, "Have a Hostess take Mei to her private balcony and table next to the stage on the 3rd Floor. Inform Vass that there is a table on the first floor ready for him." As he comes out, two guards remain at the door while two agent looking individuals accompany him into the main crowd of the 6th floor. This is truly where the who's who are hanging out. There is everyone from the big time celebrities to politicians to athletes to the most famous and well kept secret business tycoons of the Sai City. Strife takes this time to mingle and check on the needs of his patrons.

Kyno sat on his bed, his red eyes cast to the floor as he made his choice. Why was he so apprehensive about this party? Was it the threat of getting lost, mugged, or even killed? No not really, he didn’t fear life, or anything that could physically harm him. His mind and body was wasting away every day, and the though of death was not one that struck a whole lot of fear in the young man. What he was afraid of was the loneliness, He had no friends, and the club would be full of those lucky and blessed enough to have comrades. He would be alone in a sea of people that was truly his fear.
Shaking his head Kyno pushed himself too stand, glancing over at the costume he’d bought years ago but never had a reason to wore. He had made a promise to himself, he wouldn’t sit at home another holiday wallowing in self pity, Christ he didn’t have time to was a moment of his life feeling sorry for himself and if he stayed he’d only regret it later. That was it he decided and headed to the bathroom to change.
Moment’s later Kyno emerged in tight white costume, which hugged his frame tightly. The white jacket and pants were adorned with golden chains and buckles all over even a white choker hung from his neck with a cross. White gloves covered his hands so that the only thing left exposed was his head from the chin up. From the back two white wings folded over his shoulder blades. Why he’d chosen an angelic costume was beyond him, it just seemed to fit with his pale complexion and white hair. For some reason he thought that it would also ward away the evil spirits that he constantly found hanging around him. They seemed to always find him at the worst of times, as if they knew he would soon be joining their ranks in the spirit world. At that though his long fingers wrapped around the pedant that the man had given him. Just holding it brought him some comfort though he hoped he’d never need it’s warding abilities.
One final glance at the mirror to make sure everything was in place and Kyno headed out the door. He didn’t allow for time to rethink his choice, he just let his feet carry him to the side walk. He had to walk all the way there, he didn’t want to spend the money on a cab and he was unfit to drive so had sold his car last year. He didn’t really mind the walk though, the club was only a few blocks away, and he needed the time out of the apartment. Before long he can hear the party without really trying, and as he turned the last corner, he found himself in a sea of festivities. A soft smile crossed his lips as he watched a moment from the street corner, Everyone seemed very excited and happy as they prepared for the club to open it’s doors. Kyno then plunged into crowed, pushing his way to the line, carefully avoiding the flashing lights of strobe lights and camera’s that obscured his vision.

Another being would approach us, pulling a barrier up and leading us to the side of the building. There was a more discrete entrance, hidden in darkness but still elaborately done. The silver posts with with red velvet straps cut the crowd out. With a security escort to the side, it would be much easier to get up to the high floor where our table was at. The two ladies would stay close while the door was opened. Once inside, several other famous faces would be seen. A private elevator would arrive, allowing small groups of the VIP's to enter and move to the higher level where private tables and rooms were waiting. When it was our turn, the three of us would enter the elevator and move up to the VIP floor where we could relax and enjoy the festivities. It would still be a while before the table on the second floor was ready, but we would be able to relax up here. Megan would comment about the lines, while the other would complain that I never brought her out on things like this. Maybe if they could get out of their duty for a while they could come have fun with me more often. This place would be great for expansion with my projects. Looking down at my hand, I would grip it, noticing that nothing happened. An anti magic technology of some kind had to be here. Made sense for this level of security, I might have to find a way to get my hands on it one day. Breaking away from them, I would make my way to the bar...

Brush brush. I sit in the corner of the limo with my arms folded and my gaze looking outside at the masses that had come to the event. On the inside, I was a little excited to be here, even though I had some type of function to perform. Since Natsuki’s rise to fame and the incident with the people trying to kidnap her, I had become a type of body guard for her. Of course, I didn’t really get paid anything money wise, but as my girlfriend, I got other things as a natural occurrence. It did kind of make me a bit uncomfortable that so many guys would be looking at her now as oppose to in the past before her and her band reached some level of stardom, but I didn’t really voice that issue; it wasn’t a big deal to me.
There is more shifting and a brushing sound. My gaze shifts across to Natsuki as she interacted with the other people in the car. We would have VIP status here due to her credentials. Though I had a small buzz in my acting career, I hadn’t stared in anything that would make me highly visible. Most of my work had been with stunt doubling or motion capture; I had yet to actually have my face on a poster or anything like the really famous people. I would probably be laughed at if I tried it access any VIP area on my own, but it wasn’t like I was used to or necessarily liked such things. I was a normal person at heart, which caused a bit of a mental conflict in my head with my better half. Either way, I would stay by her side and protect her against anything that tried to hurt her… that’s what guys were for.
I chuckle lightly at the kick given to the guy as I shake my head. Natsuki was crazy… that just wasn’t something to be said outloud. When the car comes to a halt and the doors open, I am the last to get out. Her crew had dressed up much like the characters in Alice and as such I found myself dressed as the scarecrow (Wizard of Oz), equipped with straws protruding from the collar and sleeves of my patchwork outfit, my nose collared with black mascara, a pointed cotton hat and my sword on my back. Of course, the scarecrow didn’t normally have a sword, but maybe that was why he was scared all the time. I stand by while they speak with the reporters, taking a moment to take in the huge crowd. A grin comes to my lips as I found myself a bit amped to be here; the energy seemed contagious.

There she was leaning against the fence waiting just outside the VIP entrance. She didn't look happy at all. "Ill meet you there he said..." she said in a sneering voice as it was obvious there was an unsettling frown about her. She had last minute decided against dressing up as a gorgyn and decided to go with something that was more of an eye catcher. She thought Jyn was serious about coming, stupid her. Thin white fur dressed along her arms till about mid arm length and various pieces scattered about her body, leaving much of it revealed. Almost as though she were wearing a very skimpy two piece bikini. She had braided up her hair and pinned it before putting a skull cap over it and putting on a long deep blue wig with a white head band that had white cat ears upon it. Wearing even blue cat eye contact, her gloves were unique on their own as they were made to look like large cat paws, along with her feet as well, but made slender so they wouldn't be puffy cat paws, but more of an anthropomorphic human shaped cat claws, and cat feet and even a long white tail curled around her backside. If anyone could recognize Izumi had dressed up as, Felicia from DarkStalkers. She even put on fake cat fangs over her own fangs. "Really, he better not...." she growled to herself as she pulled out her phone, magic anime pocket, as she called up Jyn's phone. She began to pace back and forth.
Looking at her, she wouldn't be recognized upon just seeing her. Izumi usually went all out when it came to dressing up. She would hear the phone ring and wait for when Jyn would pick up. Of course her tone wouldn't be happy, though her tone would be a mix between an attempt of keeping a low volume to a 'where the fuck are you'. "Jyn, get over here..."

A match pulled off to the side, striking against the hard rough surface of the box. A spark, and its lit. Brought inwards to hid hands on this cold night. The small flames catches onto the cigarette. And is then waved back and forth, extinguishing the light. He took a deep draw, moving through the crowd and dropping the match. It was odd to say that, Pennywise wasn't actually in a costume. Well not much of one anyway. Not that anyone would notice. For awhile now his old clothes had gone untouched, however he had gotten them dry cleaned. He now stalked through the crowds in victorian finery. Gentlemans wear. Top hat included. If anything it did look as if he was in a costume when he used to wear it. Add the mask, an old cape and ta da!. "Phantom of the Opera". That one alone brought an old fashioned grin to his face. Shiori was coming to the party. And was one of the listed " VIPs". Kyouya was also part of the invites along with himself. And...one other guard. No doubt one lucky bastard who'd won the raffle to get the easiest but most high paying assignment.
He'd proactively been trying to get into the role of being her bodyguard, particularly since he had gotten back from the past realm. Those skins they had picked up from those tigers actually turned out to be of more use than he'd thought. He'd had the tanner and skinner make him a hide jacket lining, something fro the winter. But as it turned out that very same lining gave him a sort of spiritual invisibility. As far as the spirit net. Or anyone else that could pick up spiritual power. He was a complete blank. This had, much to his pleasure. Allowed him to pass through the spirit net undetected. However, apparantly the skin didn't stretch into using magic. Forcing him to stick to his physical powers. But of course with his advancements in his classes. Judo, Muay Thai and such. He was quite prepared for any eventuality that would involve a fight coming to fists.
Particularly glad was he, however. That this had all happened before this party. With the turn out...he doubted that Division 12 would be so lax in watching for spiritual activity. Quite the opposite...this party would be an eyes on you affair.
He headed towards the VIP entrance. Had to secure the way, one never knew in this line of work just when someone would be laying in wait to attack. But, other than crazy party going patrons. Once he made his way to the outside of the VIP entrance there really wasn't anything to worry about. Only other person waiting outside now with him was a woman in a skimpy cat like outfit. And by the look of her face she was about to blow a vein in her temple. At this stage he had to wonder if the cause was the person she was currently trying to call. Or the fact she'd forgotten her jacket. He took a deep draw of his cigarette and let out a grin, accompanied by a cloud of smoke as he blew out. One yellow eye shining in the small light outside. The other covered by the half mask of the phantom. " Nice outfit...". He gestured to the cat girl. Before reaching into his pocket and removing his own cellphone. He'd be quick with the call, and with the message. "...Coast is clear....but...so many people....one can't help but think they're here to watch you fly...". He clicked the phone shut. Shiori would be arriving soon. With that out the way, his eyes returned to the woman now waiting across from him. By the way she was talking and that whole sour " puss" look on her face he couldn't help but guess she was supposed to meet someone.
"....Now....if I were to take a....long shot guess here Miss Kitty Cat.....I'd say you've been stood up....".
Again, a look up and down, then he leaned back against the wall. And spoke in a 'matter of fact' tone. " Oh well....his loss...or.....hers?....who knows in this city....".

Every thing is normal in the city. Division 12 won't see anything different from any other ordinary night. So far so good (get yo ass to the party Jyn!).
The count down on the mega screen shows 5 minutes left until the party started! At the club, a few members from the local PD are allowed to come in... for like permit and zoning purposes. The fire marshall is there too just in case the club gets too packed. The roof is not on fire... yet. But, minus the few (like 6 ppl) SCPD/Div12 officers, the security inside the club is privately owned.
The timer on the megascreen gets down to 60 seconds. Something looks like it's happening at the main stage. The music stops and a DJ annoucer speaks over the speakers.
"Welcome to the Club Hype holloween bash! We're about to get the party started! Party people, are you readeeeeeh?! Let's start things up and get those doors open. This is the moment you've been waiting fooooooor!!"
The large outside stage in front of Club Hype lights up with pirotechnitics. Flames and sparks shoot up in the air. The cover is pulled off of the stage. Up can coming band Death Devil is all set to rock out!

When we had returned... I was swamped by Kyouya. I had work to do. But I had endured it only because he had waved the invite in my face. A chance to have fun while representing the company. In a way. It would be rude if someone from Kyro Corporation didn't attend when so many others were. It was also a chance to mingle in a relaxed environment with many of the other big wigs I would soon be working against and with when I took over Kyro Corp. Things went well and I did everything Kyouya shoved in my face, Penny my only outlet to the outside when I worked hard.
We had learned alot in our trip. Gained new abilities, though Penny's frightened me. Not in the way one would think. I was terrified of losing him if he regained the mask again. Myself on the other hand was getting use to the energy wings. They were not visible to normal people unless I got overly excited. Least they got glimpses of the wings.
But tonight. Tonight is fun. Tonight I don't have to worry about a mountain of paperwork. Kyouya sighs as we sit in the car, waiting for Penny to give the all clear. It would seem both men are getting along better, especially since Penny can now go to work with me and insure I don't try to escape the paperwork Kyouya brings me. I hum happily as I smooth my skirt out and Kyouya just frowns at his own costume, our extra guard sitting quietly in the back seat, I've never had so many bodyguards before. I've always taken care of myself. But I'm slowly beginning to get use to it. I'm a rising figure head in the company and I must remember this.
My cell rings and I press it to my ear. "Yes, Pen?" I say and what he says makes me blink as he clicks the phone shut. I feel a bit of a blush on my cheeks but then its gone as I get out of the car. I smile at my cute costume that Shuuhei designed for me. Apparently Sou-kun and Shioriko are going to be singing on the third floor. I would go see them when they got on stage. But I have to mingle like a good heiress when we get inside.
Kyouya is grumpy and steps beside me, the other guard making it look like he is strolling along behind us in a casual manner. I sigh and speed walk a bit. Not my fault Kyouya hates the fact I dressed him up like sexy Host. He should be glad. Maybe if he gets laid.. He won't be such a twat in the morning. Kyouya pushes a bit of the crowd away and I hear the snapping of camera. Great.. Papparazzi. Exactly what I need. But I ignore it. I got use to them when I was little and they would follow me. I finally manage to get through the crowd and we slip to the VIP entrance. I see a familiar curling trail of smoke and move past a nearly naked blue haired chick.
I nearly bounce up to him and show him the finished outfit since I had not allowed him to see it till we got here, only mentioning I would be a butterfly. "Isn't it lovely. Shuuhei really is brilliant," I chirp and then the countdown begins. My wings flutter a bit and my eyes flick to the blue haired cat woman. "Oh... Its Felcia.." I say, frowning a bit though. The costumes was just.. Well.. Too much. I couldn't find it sexy because it left nothing to the imagination. THat's why I told Shuuhei I wanted sexy, but elegant so I wouldn't embarrass myself when I spoke to the other higher ups in society.
"Shiori-sama. It would be nice if you didn't run ahead," Kyouya says and I shrug, smiling at him and the guard.
"Gomen ne. But I'm just so excited. I couldn't help myself.." I stop talking as the countdown hits its mark and wince at all the noise from the pyrotechs. I sigh and move to the door. "Come on. I want to make sure I mingle a bit before my sister is up on stage with Sousuke."

Within the control center of the Division 12 HQ, I would be gaining continual updates on the progression of the night. Much to my appreciation, nothing large seemed to be happening throughout the city. But, the last time something large happened, there were no precursors and no warning; there were no patterns leading up to the destruction of the city, simply random events that lead up to catastrophe. I hoped that the enemy sensed the heightened security within the city and that it would be enough to keep them at bay. I knew that the humans, or rather I, was biding time until the next big disaster happened as the only way to catch them would be within conflict. It was hard to fight an enemy that seemed impossible to locate. I had sent Sanzon on an expedition mission into Onitoshi, but he was gone for far too long, possibly in the past realm, and in his return, he had neglected to pay me a visit to report his findings. Our sensors and operatives verified his return to this realm recently; but worrying about him would be another issue on another day. The main point to be driven was, I would have to find a way to locate the enemy and take the war to his doorstep instead of fighting a defensive battle against the unknown.
Speaking up within the control room to one of the operators of whom I was standing behind, I request, “order the mobilization the WADB one quarter mile from the south eastern edge of the barrier.” Speaking to another, I nod, “engage the systems aboard the PADB and prepare it for possible payload.” Dual ‘rogers’ come out and the techs move about pursuing the order. My plan was to nip anything in the bud that would appear, be it a legion of demons or any odd activity covering a massive area. One thing that was constant between the attacks were the large rune symbols left behind, indicative of something either being unsealed or set up in place.
While in this sentinel position, I feel a vibration within my pocket accompanied by a quick triple beep in my ear via my earpiece. Lifting my hand, I tap the button on the earpiece with my gaze still forwards on the screens. Speaking into the earpiece, not knowing that it was Izumi, I voice in an authoritative tone, “this is the Commander, you may proceed with your report.”

Izuya chuckles while rubbing over his yellow Pikachu ear with his fur covered ‘paw’, “We’ll have to get you some Cheerios; they say high stress makes for a bad heart. Pika.” His lingering gaze would follow Kuna as he walked through the crowds; catching back up to him wouldn’t be an issue since he could basically feel Kuna-kun’s signature… well with the sheer amount of people here, it would probably be equally as hard as trying to locate him visually, but still not impossible. Instead of following along his cohort, Izuya decided to move around and see who all he could interact with. There did seem to be a rather diverse crowd here from all sides of the city. One could even spot a blue blood or two from the Heights in the VIP section. “Coming to mingle with the lower class, Pika?” Izuya chuckles to himself at the thoughts while looking towards VIP, “How cute. Pika. ”
In looking in that direction, he notices one familiar person and another familiar signature. A smile glides across his lips as he moves from his current position towards the VIP area. He was pretty sure that getting in would be no problem for him, as he had a variety of tricks up his sleeve that would help in that scenario. Deciding to move through the crowd a bit more easily, Izuya attempts to shift into his intangible form, but then finds something very disturbing. He pauses for a moment and looks down as if thinking about something. He attempts to go intangible again, but cannot. With a frown on his face, he attempts to open a portal, but that fails as well. “Well, that’s never happened before… Pikaaa…” he mentions a bit confused at the fact that he may have lost his powers. He turns and looks in the direction that Kuna-kun had gone. He needed to verify if Kuna could shift the earth or not… while not allowing Kuna to know that he was unable to use his magical abilities himself… that could be disastrous.
Before heading towards Kuna-kun, his attention is gained by the loud voice that speaks over everyone and precedes a countdown above the main stage. “They really went all out… Pika.” he murmurs lightly before deciding that finding Kuna-kun was more important.

The count down started and my eyes lifted to the erupting explosion of color, and cheers. Instantly happy with my choice to participate in the party even if I had no real importance in it. I smiled, enjoying the costumes and over all light hearted feeling that rose from the people around me. The great thing about this place was that even if I had seen a spirit I wouldn’t have been able to tell if it was real or just a costume and I really didn’t care to spend the evening trying to discern one from the other. I was there to lift my mood and nothing. NOTHING was going to stop me from having a good- Med thought the crowed began pushing into the doors of the club and caught completely off my guard (again) as I jostled out of the way. In the sudden rush I lost my balance, feeling a crunch in my back left shoulder and then a tear I landed on the ground. I took a moment to inspect my self, I was fine besides the sharp pain in my palms and knee with I did have to see to know I scrapped them up. I stood and saw part of the left angel wing lying on the ground, feathers in tatters. A frown came over my face as I knelt down to pick up the pieces of my torn wing and then proceeded inside with the rest of the crowd. Half the broken wing still stuck out of the back of the costume, and I tried to devise a way in mind of how I could reattach it in the bathroom. But after a moment I just dumped the broken wing into the trash with a defeated sigh. The first time I’d dressed up in two years and my costume was destroyed before the party even started perfect. I guess that’s what I got, wings probably weren’t the best idea for a crowded club anyway, I could always just lie and say that I was a fallen angel if anyone bothered to ask.

Holloween at Da Hype
Back stage, things get set up, the pyrotechnics chief goes over the locations and the time or when things will being off for the safety of the band. Don't want any ones hair to catch on fire. As the guy was talking I found myself looking at Seiki in his goofy costume, wondering if he knows that 'Wizard of Oz' and 'Alice in Wonderland' where not the same thing... He was listed as a bodyguard but I really wasn't worried about my safety. I just thought it would be nice to have him with me. Come to think about it I don't think Seiki has ever seen me perform before, I don't even know if he likes the type of music I do. My focus on him is broken when someone shouts that we have five minutes and everyone takes their place. I take the time to walk over to Seiki, giving him a be a kiss to make up for not paying much attention to him. "Wish me luck!" I slap him on the ass and give him a wink before running back to the front of the stage. I look back at the band for a moment as my bass strap is pulled over my shoulder. Nothing is said I just give them "The look" that says if you fuck up I will kill you as the countdown starts, I can feel my heart racing as it gets closer and closer to time. The stage cover is pulled off... Kazu starts it off with the tapping of the cymbals before we get our rock on.
On my broken angel wing, My heart has lost the way through close sky. Where will I go?
Holding on to my broken dreams, I will fly, fly through the crimson rain on this broken angel wing.
At the end I shell fall, what will I see? What will there be? nothing but despair in a wasted wonderland. Without a sound, everything the future holds is fading before us
The fading light taken by the shadows, there are no last words. All we can wish for is a tomorrow. Where is the light?
I will fly on this broken angel wing, fly high through to the open sky
Passing over the crumbling landscape, what will I see? what will I feel? I can on longer be free Without saying a single word, we have to fly into that fading light, that fading future.
On my broken angel wing, My heart has been lost in the wind. Where will I go?
Holding on to my broken dreams, I will fly, fly through the crimson rain on this broken wing.
At the end I shell fall, what will I see? What will there be? nothing but death in a wasted wonderland. Without a sound, everything the future holds is fading before us

While she waited for the call to patch through her eyes scanned about in an annoyed fashion as she still waited. Just what the hell was he doing that was taking him so long to answer. This man dressed up in this Phantom of the Opera outfit had passed by her and complimented upon her outfit. She shifted her moods for that second and gave him a kind smile as she responded. "Thanks." She didn't like to treat others rudely even if she was in a bad mood, she'd rather not take it out on others for something they did not do. Soon after her saying thanks she returned to looking rather upset as she stared toward's the ground and off to her left as she waited, her left foot began to tap against the ground.
Listening to the phone pick up she was about to yell as she heard the tone he used, and it just caused her to be silent as she just hung up and looked toward's Pennywise as she lowered the phone and sighed. "Seem's like I have... that jerk." she mumbled as she calmed herself down, it wouldn't be right to yell at strangers. Turning her head she gave a weak smile, being here at the party alone, upset, just wasn't a good thing, but she figured she should just ignore it and try and have a good time, even if Jyn forgot he was suppose to come. "Yeah, seem's like it..." though not that long afterward's a woman shot by, Izumi did take notice of who it was. It wasn't like the costume did that good of a job to hide her identity. Though it's not like people took dressing up as a strong passion to fully envelop themselves into a character. Some just did it for fun, which is just as nice, though this really push to show the difference between those that just had fun with it from those that held a strong passion for it.
Izumi took notice of how Shiori frowned, did she recognize her or was it something else? Izumi merely just blinked, though she herself wouldn't be physically recognizable. The countdown had begun as Izumi shifted her gaze as she stretched her hands up. "Mmmreow" she purred as she tapped her foot against the ground. "I think I'll go in a new outfit later as the night goes on." she stated to herself in a soft voice as she heard the sounds, seem's like it's best that she should be heading inside. Looking over toward's Shiori and Pennywise a weak smile came from her as she waved to the both of them. "See ya around." Watching Shiori, possibly Pennywise, head off to the door, Izumi figured she'd keep outside a while long to enjoy the band that was currently playing. Death Devil.

The girl smiled, cute. However, such a smile did not seem to last long. Her date wasn't answering his phone by the looks of it. Such a shame. Who after all would miss a party like this? Particularly when said party obviously had an invite to the VIP entrance. Otherwise, well. This girl wouldn't be standing here right now. Still, it was quite a shame. Although she wasn't leaving, he supposed that said something. Perhaps she was just going to wait a bit longer. Who knew. But by the comment she made about him being a jerk. He at least caught a grasp on the last part of his comment. It was indeed a man that she had been waiting for. Good, it did get awfully confusing for him when placed in situations like those. Suffice to say although he'd encountered it. Once in particular at his judo class ( ironic or what?) he hadn't quite known how to react to it. Which in turn earned him a swift take down and loss of a spar match.
Wasn't really his business however at this stage. So he continued smoking his cigarette in relative quiet. At least until another couple of figures moved around the corner. Shiori in her butterfly costume. Showing herself to him. He'd had an idea of just what she was going as but not just what it would look like. That much she had kept to herself. A surprise so to speak. " Indeed it does look lovely". Kyouya however did not look too....amused. With his own costume. Likely he was slightly jealous of the fact that Penny had put such little real effort into his own. Considering that these old clothes had actually been the ones he had wore for a long time before starting to really come into his on in the human world. They were comfortable. And the feeling of the half mask of the phantom didn't bother him too much. After all...he'd been training to try and keep that " other" mask under control.
Despite the efforts however, up till now that had been varying in success rates. And he wouldn't be using it around Shiori or...anyone in the human world really. Until he had it under perfect control. Didn't know how long that as going to take. But he would get there in the end. Shiori gave an eye to the cat woman, appaantly she recognised the costume. Siting the name of the character, he had of course absolutely no idea what she as talking about. To him it was merely some kind of kitty cat costume. At times like this he felt very old fashioned. Then again. At this moment the top hat probably didn't do much to argue against such matters. Neither did his mild addiction to tea...speaking of which he wondered if the bar was alcoholic only here.Something he'd find out soon enough.
The countdown began, and Penny was really just working on finishing his cigarette as it hit zero. With one final puff of smoke. He dropped it to the ground and stood on it. A slight twist to the usual step. Just to make sure it was out and crushed. Shiori seemed ready to head in and mingle with the people. This party would probably be a good chance to meet some of the higher ups in society and generally just get her name out there as potiental leader of the kyro corp. There was also the mention of a sister. Something about the stage. It was an important night. Best to try his hardest to look the part of the good bodyguard. However. Despite this there was an odd tug of his old fashioned nature once again. He was about to follow Shiori in when he noticed that little, weak smile from the cat girl. Almost a false face. Trying to hide something. Inner sadness probably at the idea of being stood up.
He let out his own sigh and stopped for a moment scratching his chin. Walking inside. Leaving a girl out here in the cold when she had just been stood up by her date. Oni or not, it was just ungentleman like. " One moment Shiori". He took a few steps back and looked at the cat girl. He tapped his chin, and leaned in slightly. " Now it would seem to me, that...leaving an attractive young lady such as yourself out here on this night all on her own...particularly after your own date has failed to arrive...would be just far too ungentleman like for me to abide by...". A light smirk on the side of his face not covered by the mask.
" So, in light of this...why don't you join our party?"
At this stage he was not sure if he was over stepping his authority with Shiori. Failing to take her own feelings into account was, ungentleman like as well. However, he saw no reason as to why she would oppose such an idea. Besides...the girl was at the VIP entrance for a reason. Which meant she was a person with power. With connections. Such connections could be made into friends. Friends which would help her rise to power. So, in his own mind. He was hitting two birds with one stone. Covering his own need to be a gentleman. And helping Shiori.
" Ah..but where are my manners.....My name is Wiseman....as for yours....well...Shall we discuss that over a drink?".
Once again, that grin on his face. He had to hope that Shiori would catch onto his ploy and not merely think that he was flirting with the locale. After all. In every endevor he had commited time to, the primary objective had always been to further her own base of power. Although, even if she didn't catch on.He had a feeling Kyouya would. The man was more like Penny in thought than he would like to admit. They were almost identically minded on the subject of protecting their guard. And had become somewhat of friends. If not merely good collegues as of late. Particularly when he had returned Shiori unharmed from the world of the past. For now, the choice was down to the girl in the cat costume.

The seat would be soft leather, and spin lightly to the side as I sat there, observing the small crowd in the top floor. It was an interesting place. On the walls were several monitors, showing the events from outside. With the countdown finished, I assumed the doors would be opened and people would flood into the club. Samantha and Megan returned to my side, each taking a seat at the bar. Humans had so much energy to devote to things like this, it was absurd. Within a few moments, a glass was set lightly on the reflective surface, ice dropped with a resounding crack, and a single smooth liquid poured into its top. Sliding it over to me, the bartender nodded while I stopped it with two fingers. The girls both ordered martini's, while I enjoyed something a bit more... well, me. I was rather surprised to not see that human here, the one that had shot me last year. Turning around in the chair, my back would lean against the bar while I observed the crowd that was here. There were some famous faces, some business executives, and others who I did not recognize. One, I half expected to be here, had failed to arrive yet. It was rather irritating, and it had become part of my goal to take care of that.. issue.. as soon as possible. Taking a sip from the scotch, it was smooth and dry with a woody crisp to it. How perfect for this kind of night. Focusing a bit, my lightning was still suppressed. It made me wonder if everything had been, though I wasn't willing to try it right yet.

The countdown could be heard as the speaker and the crowd yelled out the seconds. I bid farewell to the men and moved myself over by the elevators and immediately boarded one, once again using my D12 badge to gain access to a bit more… prestigious floor… namely the VIP. I might not be one of the higher ups among the society and in overall not that very powerful either. Nevertheless, it was my job, as a D12 member to make sure that everyone was having a great time without anything happening to them and who else was better to protect than the VIP’s. By the time I got to the VIP floor the people had began to enter, some had already managed to get themselves a drink, which at this point was quiet compelling, but I had to force myself to be sober, at least for another hour or so, as there must be a guy or two that would want to offer me a drink.
Wandering away from the elevator, I put the badge into my purse and begin to walk over towards the bar. Reaching the glass counter, I let my fingers slide over it as I made my way along it, stopping right next to a guy and two girls which seemed to have gotten their drinks already. Leaning to the bartender on the other side, I order a Vodka Raspberry. Turning around I let my eyes glide of the room. It was fairly empty, though the countdown had finished only a minute or two earlier so within the hour, the floor would be packed. A tap on the shoulder tells me that the drink is ready and I turn around and put down a ten note bill to pay for it and tell the bartender to keep the change as I take my drink and walk over to table that is placed right next to the dance floor with a good view to the elevators and stairs. Sitting down, I place my char so that I had my eyes on the elevators and stairs and at the same time, my back to the still empty floor. “Please, let this be a calm night” I whisper to myself as I take a sip from the drink.

I smile as Penny compliments my costume. We were going for the door, just stepping within after Kyouya flashes our passes when Penny stops and turns to go back out. I blink and I frown. Where was he going. Kyouya asks for me to keep going but I refuse to without Penny beside me. I peek out the door and see him with the blue haired woman. Jealousy rips through me in an almost violent fashion. Its sudden and it makes me blink in surprise. Why was I jealous? I shake my head, my hair down and lightly curled into soft ringlets. I listen as Penny speaks with her, curious as to what he is doing.
Kyouya comes up behind me and I peek at him to see a frown on his lips. But then he seems to nearly smirk as Penny continues speaking to the woman. I look at her and tilt my head. Her spiritual signature seems so familiar, but I just can't put my finger on a name. But then I am kind of new at this whole sensing bit. I twitch my nose as I try to place who she is. But I come up with nothing. Though her way of movement seems familiar. Kyouya nudges me and I peer up at him. He flicks his eyes over to the woman in a silent gesture for me to help Penny get her to come in.
The light bulb goes off and I realize then.. This woman might be the companion of someone who I might have dealings with. I get the intentions now. I nod and come up behind Penny and peek around him at her. I smile and nod. "You can join us. I've got a nice booth on the sixth floor. Also one on the third for my sister's concert. Really. You're welcome to come with us. I do kind of hate being the only girl," I step around Penny and offer my hand. "I'm Kyro Shiori. I feel like I should know you. Have we met before?" I ask politely over the din of the music. I can feel my weapon Kyrojin perking as he finally sees the woman through my eyes. The tattoo on my inner thigh heats and I can feel a light blush tinting my cheeks. That bastard.
Kyouya comes over next and bows politely, offer her his arm in a gentlemanly fashion. "We can't have a Lady out in the cold. Won't you join us?" he asks and puts on that smile that makes woman get all heart eyed and wobbly. Kyouya really is a charmer. -1157

“What are you sure?” I’d asked in surprise when Raziel said he wasn’t going to the Halloween party at club hype. He seemed very set in his discussion, Raziel had a most sincere hate for the holiday, and his own business to attend to. Not to mention he also had a firm dislike of the lower commons, if given the choice Raziel would not travel to area that he was quoted as calling “The most classless part of the city.” He said unlike other people he had “standers” and wouldn’t be caught dead there. At that I’d given him a light shrug whatever his true reason for not going I didn’t push too much to find out. Normally when he got like that I knew that it was something personal, and I was content with not knowing any more.
It wasn’t easy getting Halloween off, we had a lot of calls that night and the boss liked to keep us all on call. When I’d told him where I was going though, he’d agreed to let me take the night off, and still keep my eye on the club. Of course I would be nothing more than civilian, a very watchful civilian with a gun, and hand cuffs that is. I’d have invited Duke too but I wasn’t sure if they allowed canines in the club. I supposed not, unless I was disabled Duke would have to stay home. He gave me those damned puppy eyes when he found out I’d be leaving home on the funniest night of year. Blast him and those impossible big brown eyes, I nearly took him with. Almost that is, I managed to beat a hasty retreat from the apartment before his little plan worked. Then it was off to the party.
As I arrived the street was a mess of people and the officers and security tried to keep them in some form orderly lines. As I passed one of the traffic cops I received a friendly nod and returned it before finding some parking. Pft, yeah that took some time, by the time I’d found a spot and walked back to the club entrance people were already pouring inside. I’d not bothered with a costume, just wearing my uniform instead, it was cheap and worked for me, and I didn’t really have time to go costume shopping lately. Of course it didn’t seem to phase anyone once inside a stranger dressed in all assortments of pot leafs stumbled over to me and made a loud howl. “Ooh! Look! A popo! Nice costs’me man!” He shouted. My eyes followed his hand as he touched my shoulder and then the steely gray eyes fell back to him, I was not amused at his little nickname one bit. “I’m sure it’s no more a costume than yours appears to be…” I growled and removed his hand, pushing deeper into the crowd. Oh yeah this night was going to be “fun” perhaps I should have listened to Raziel.

The blond kept moving through the crowds and had come upon the edges that marked the separation of the general crowd and the ones that had come to hear the main attraction for outside of the Hype. He would say there for a few moments listening too the music being blared out, but Kuna really had no taste for music. He just ended up moving along in the end and making his way further away from Izuya, which he figured would try to keep track of him, but he was hoping to lose the spirit amongst the crowds. The entire appeal of the party itself seemed to melt away and just left the blond wishing he hadn't come in the first place. *Must not be a party person.* He would think to himself as he considered weather going home would the best thing too do or wait for a little bit more time and see how things developed. Kuna would wait to see how things developed.

The countdown is concluded and the DJs of each floor step up to their turn tables. Music would pulse through the club floors to offer the guests not listening to Death Devil another taste of what they wish for.
Floor 1
DJ Blyze - hip hop/urban/top 40 "Evenin' peeps! Let's get this parteh started!" A blonde male shouts excitedly over the speakers, a sharp bass following as the music begins.
[Song : Airplanes ~ B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams (Dj Dark Intensity Mix)]
Floor 2
DJ Nyx - Club mix/Electronica "Hope you all came to dance... Cause its time now!" A violet haired male would seem to chirp once people file onto his floor.
[Song : I Know You Want Love Celebration ~ Lady Gaga vs Madonna vs Pitbull (Robin Skouteris Mix]
Floor 3 Eternal Eclipse feat Siren/Rock and Metal Starting at 10pm will be Eternal Eclipse to give 'Death Devil' a chance to play without interferance. For now the DJ is simply the techy for Eternal Eclipse playing one of their recent singles first made just for Holloween!
[Song : This is Halloween ~ Marilyn Manson]
Floor 6
DJ Luna - R&B/Soft Rock/Jazz/Chill Out Electro/Alternative/Random Mix (Personal Requests from VIPs) "Good evening, ladies and gentleman. We do hope you enjoy tonight. Let's start it out smoothly for everyone while you get settled and get a few drinks. I'm open for requests. Please feel welcome to come to me and ask." I ebony haired woman smiles as she says this, her features cute and pixish. She even has to stand on a footstool to reach her equipment. She adorable and petite. Excellent for charming those with high status.

Well now, there was something of interest. I watched the elevator open, before a young lady stepped out and joined us at the bar. It was only for a moment to get a drink, but it was still a moment. She seemed interesting, more than interesting if I had to be completely honest with myself. A familiar song came across as the DJ finally began to start. It seemed that the party was now starting. Our table by the dance floor was empty, and I intended on filling it. Unlike other floors that were probably disastrous at this point, the VIP floor was nice and open, giving me as much room as I needed to move. it was a good thing as well, as I really didn't care for closed spaces and people all up in my personal bubble. Leading the two ladies to the table, I returned to the elevator and made my way downstairs. I needed a smoke, and it was rude to do it inside. As the doors slid open, I was replaced by other important people who were heading up to that floor. The music from outside could be heard through a door being propped open from none other than a familiar face. What was she doing here.. I would prop a cigarette into the corner of my mouth before walking out the door. It was rather odd to see a tea shop demon slayer here at this entrance.

Yes she was still upset about being stood up. Though she wouldn't let it bother her, she'd take her moment outside to push her feeling's aside, though being stood up is never a good feeling, and have fun. She even spent time to go ahead and get the VIP for him and herself, and put his name down for being one of the important people of the city. Her own fame was slowly rising, but it wasn't enough to get too well known in the city just yet. Though this meant she might have to stop being a secretary, but she wouldn't stop helping Jyn.
She had expected them to just head on inside and just part ways for now. IF she met them again, good, if not then it was no biggie it was just another extra in her set of life. Though Izumi tuned away from her inner thoughts so as to keep herself from tearing up about it and let herself focus toward's something else, Death Devil, though her attention wouldn't be on it for too long when she managed to hear Pennywise, her arms were crossed as she just turned her head just turned toward's him. The look on her face was a bit confused as to why he had come back, though she was a bit surprised hearing what he was saying. Huh... an actual gentleman. It's rare to run into those.
Asking her if she wanted to join them, this caught her attention a bit more than before as she turned toward's him and her eyes shifted over to Kyouya and Shiori. Pondering mostly upon whether it would be a good decision or not. Izumi never really did speak with Shiori much, so she didn't know the girl too well or knew how Shiori felt about her. Though gauging from that earlier expression she wasn't sure if it was a good thing.
Her eyes shifted over toward's Shiori who had arrived next to Pennywise, who named himself Wiseman, and asked as well for her to come join. Her right brow arched as she tilted her head. Something just didn't really sit right with her, it wasn't that she didn't like the kindness or the offer. It's just the intention's didn't seem true to her.
A third had arrived, Kyouya, and he began to speak as well asking for her to come join as well. Opprotunities about in various disguises it seems... She thought to herself as she looked at the three. She agreed though, but she didn't seem to flicker a swooned response. She was still upset about being stood up, so that helped fortify her resolve to not get all googly eyes over some lovely faces, yes women included, she unleashed a sigh as rubbed the back of her head. What made her agree was the fact that it was three people asking her. "ah umm... seems as though I don't really have much of a choice..." Yeah her appearance had changed a lot and even her spiritual signature was mostly the same, but there was a slight change in that as well due to recent events. Looking to Shiori Izumi gave a weak smile. "Probably should recognize me, though we've never really spoken too often." A hand outstretched toward's Shiori as her eyes looked over the three of them. "Izumi Hiramoto."

I am pulled out of the trance of enjoying the atmosphere as I remember that my function was to look out for stuff. The freaky guys from the apartment could be waiting in the crowds for a chance to nab her, or even worst, some obsessed fan could be plotting something perverted; my fist would be in people before anything bad had the chance to happen. I move with the group away from the lady doing the interview since it was getting time to get situated backstage. After getting there, I watch the last minute safety precautions being set in place.
The call for five minutes comes out and my gaze shifts to Natuski at the last minute as she comes up and plants a kiss to me. I am ordered, slapped on the ass and then she is gone. Aside from the little squeak emitted from the slap, I complain, “Mou…” as I wipe it with the back of my fist, “no one’s afraid of a body guard with lipstick on them…” With a soft smile, I speak, “good luck,” even though she was already gone. With her running off to get ready on stage, I figured I should get situated where at my station, which would be in front of the stage. I find myself among other large body guard types guarding the main stage as I walk through, flashing credentials, to get to the center area to ‘hold it down’ in a sense. I had to be the smallest body guard there, but it was fine; I bet I could kick anyone’s ass there too.
The crowd begins their countdown and suddenly there is a huge explosion behind me and the music starts. I watch Natsuki begin sing and while watching, a smile comes to my lips for a moment before I catch myself, fold my arms and look forwards, attempting to look menacing… I needed shades and a black shirt like those other body guards.

The music begins in the background and the scene seemed to go ecstatic all at once. With some crowds trying to get inside and others moving to the stage, Izuya soon found that it would be rather difficult to reach Kuna-kun. It was almost as if he were trying to get away from him. With a sigh, Izuya stands in the middle of a large crowd and tilts his head to the side and emits, “pika?” The fact that he couldn’t use magic was still very troubling to him before his eyes settled about the mist floating through the area. “They couldn’t… pika…” Izuya comments while rubbing his little furry chin with his furry ‘paw.’ Either way, he didn’t see anything extraordinarily magic happen around him. Still a bit unruffled, he composes and figures that the likelihood of him losing his abilities was less likely as they were being cancelled by something or someone. He would get to the bottom of that later, though it would drastically hinder the amount of fun to be had in this party. Since he didn’t know where Kuna was, he did know where VIP was; that was static and didn’t move. Turning he redirects his motions to head through the crowd back the way from which he had come. His original plan was to disguise himself as someone important in order to get into VIP, but without the use of being able to use his powers, he would have to use his tongue to get in with someone. Pausing yet again, he realizes that would not work either. Shiori probably didn’t like him enough to invite him up with her and if she were here without Shiko mentioning or thinking about it, then they probably would not have gotten to talk before her return to this realm. It would come off cheap if he were begging to get into VIP like that… with another sigh and a pika, he decides, “general admission it is…” With a smile, he comments to himself that at least he could dance. One night without manipulating people should be fine.

When I answer the phone, there is nothing. I return another, “hello?” but again, there is silence. Reaching for my phone, I pull it from my pocket and glance at the call history to see that it was Izumi. I figured she should be at that party that she may or may not have vaguely been talking about at one point in time. It wasn’t in her nature to call me and hang up, so I would assume that she had called me on accident. I wasn’t exactly worried about something bad happening to her, since she was in a public area with several witnesses and was well equipped to take care of herself. It would be unlike me to agree to go to a ‘party’ for the simple fact that there was nothing really there for me; and I would die before dressing up in a Halloween outfit. If I had remembered Izumi bringing up something and coaxing me to go to something similar, I might have gone, but the fact of the actual date and my position would have confirmed the fact that I wasn’t going. Still, I didn’t remember speaking about going, so that thought wasn’t remotely in my thoughts, though there may have been a misunderstanding on her end. “Odd…” I would murmur lightly before placing the phone back into my pocket. Deciding to be on the safe side, I pull my phone back out of my pocket and thumb in the quick message… well, quick for anyone else other than me, “Is everything okay?” before sending the text message to her.
I look up as something interested is reported. One of the drones passing over the party reports a lower spiritual count that was expected as well as some type of magic hampering in effect. I found it interesting that a club would have something like that set up. I consult the operator to have the units there monitor the club’s systems and see if there was anything there that we could use; I wasn’t against stealing technology for the greater good, even though I didn’t know at the time that they had already stolen the concept of myst from the Division.

His yellow eye continued to glance over the cat girl. His own comment appeared to have gotten a mildly positive response from her. But there was something about Shiri joining into it that seemed to turn it around. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. Perhaps the idea of more than one person extending the invite made it seem like it was an unsociable thing. Impersonal. Regardless of whatever reason was behind it. The cat girl seemed a little more...cautious. This in itself was slightly strange to him. For her attention seemed to shift from he. Who was the original asker. To Shiori. Regardless. He watched the whole thing roll out. The girl introduced herself as Izumi...not a name he recognised. However it seemed that the girl was under the impression that Shiori should have heard of it..and for some reason. That was something that stirred something in him. Something that said. " This is going to be trouble".
However, the rather strange sort of turn around of his invitation caused him some light aggitation. "...Ah..Well....do not think you are forced to Lady Hiramoto, if it is your wish to remain here...". He would make his way towards the door to the VIP entrance. "...Then feel free to do so...". Just as he was about to pull open the door however, another figure walked through, apparantly from the inside to the out. A figure that happened to recognise Shiori. A figure that..absolutely stunk of...Kami. Penny froze his face. Kept it unchanging. Had to. Every part of his flesh and bone was screaming to toss himself forward and tear this bastard apart.
Limb from limb. Bone from bone. Tooth to tooth.
But no. Had an appearance to keep up. Couldn't reveal himself as an Oni. Thats what the tiger pelt jacket lining was for. But, even then. He couldn't just give into what his nature compelled him to do. It would raise too many questions. He just twirled around on his heel. Turned to Shiori. Gave a light grin and looked at her directly in the eye. " Miss Shiori. It appears you are to be quite popular at this party. Another...gentleman...appears to be wishing for your attention...". At this point. His posture would reveal little. But his eye. The one yellow eye not hidden by the mask. The one looking at Shiori and no other. It would reveal quite a lot. Strain. Agitation. And just a hint of that madness that existed behind the mask.
" I assume you won't mind if I move ahead? I'm rather parched....".
That was his own respectful way of saying. I'm going inside now before there is trouble, I'll talk to you later. Just before passing through the door he peeked back out and made a passing comment to Izumi. "...If you feel like joining me for that drink, you know where to look~". With that, he pushed past the Kami and into the club proper. Heading straight for the bar. He was going to need something strong.

That name. Why did it have to be that name. I freeze the moment I hear it, eyes widening. I stare at her for a moment and then expand my senses. Her spiritual essence. I let it come back and then I know its her, though there is something there I don't recall. Its slight. I don't withdraw my hand. No. Instead I shake hers and then pull my hand back. I take in the fact she is alone. So.. Jyn stood her up. How.. Jyn-like. But then I wonder if she remembered to constantly remaind him about the party before it took place. He is quite absentminded when it comes to things like this. Also he is a bit anti social and not the party goer type. He's the kind of guy who would rather just sit and watch a movie curled up on the couch with you or in bed fucking like animals. Least that's how it was between him and myself. I didn't try to take him to things like this.
I sigh softly and then blink as Penny seems to brush her off just a bit. But then she had phrased her answer a bit rudely. Voice it as if we were forcing her to come. "Pen.." I say to him softly as he turns from me. Kyouya knows her name and withdraws slightly, though he is still cordial. I turn to look at Penny and then my eyes widen as they fall on a familiar blonde kami. My blood runs cold and I sense something wrong with Penny. The wings on my back flutter as concern swarms me. This is bad. Kami and Oni. Though Sanzo wouldn't be able to spiritual sense what Penny was.
He comes back and I want to reach out and hold him as I look into his one golden orb and see the maddness lurking in the shadows. "Pen.." I whisper his name, worried for him. But he moves away my hands reaching for him. He goes into the club and I feel my heart hammering in fright. He.. He wouldn't lose himself here.. Would he? I turn to Kyouya and my feature become serious. "Go watch him. Insure he does not drink too much and that he remains calm," I order and Kyouya hesitates. But the look in my eyes makes him nod and he brushes past Sanzo to head in and follow Penny, leaving the one guard with me. I look back to Sanzo and sigh.
"Izumi-san. If you wish to join my male companions then I do not mind. But I would apologize for making it seem as if we were forcing you to come. You upset Wiseman mostly. That was the first time I've seen him do such a thing," I say to her and then my attentions are on Sanzo. I smile politely.
"Hello, Sanzo. You seem surprised to see me here." -1644

i would remain unflinching from the door, and allow the other to bump into my before entering the club. Another human, with her? It was rather frustrating to see her with another being that was not in fact myself. She had so much potential that I could use. As the male passed, I would simply smile and give a short message..."run along now.." It was turning out to be a beautiful night, and I had no intention of doing anything irrational, especially since it might warrant me not getting back in to the largest party of the year. Megan and Samantha were still upstairs as well, doing what they did best. With a light yawn, I would step outside to face the others two ladies.
With the door behind me, my body would pass into the side VIP entrance. Izumi.. she was with him when I was in the metro back then. I knew that Shiori had workings with Jyn, but wasn't this one an assistant or something? I was unsure of the actual position or if she was in fact still there, so I discarded the thoughts altogether. It was strange for me to be defending another human, but I was rather curious to what status she currently had with the division, if any. . .
"Not at all, just surprised to see you with someone who isn't in a Division uniform... last time I checked you were with the Commissioner."

What could she really do alone? Just dance by herself and walk around aimlessly in the club. It doesn't really seem like much fun, more company equaled more fun? Right? Though she did feel rather forced when all three had asked her. To her at least it didn't feel like it was done purely for having another company, like there were secret intention's with the invite. Izumi kept good notice of how Shiori had responded and localized her senses in the immediate area around her. Catching onto the glimpse to how Shiori reacted, her eyes had widened and she seemed to have tensed up. The eye's of Izumi kept a single emotion behind her gaze, gentleness.
Though the handshake was initiated Izumi's handshake was strong and firm like a professional handshake should be. Guess this could be counted as a proper introduction? Maybe. Shifting her gaze to Wiseman, it seemed as though he was bothered, was it only just her response? No, she felt like it was more than just that. To get bothered by a response that she had given, when he had came off as such a man. It was strange on it's own, at least to Izumi's acute senses, though Izumi kept quiet on it as she watched him starting to leave. From her peripheral she noted Shiori's reaction and even Kyouya, who seemed reclusive.
Though there was a new incident that happened, silent, hidden, beneath a 'mask, she watched the door open and the blonde figure step out. This sensation she felt. It wasn't Sanzon's spiritual power, she could careless about that. No it was this intention she felt. Warriors are able to give out such a feeling in order to intimidate others, though martial artists use it the most to throw their opponents off balance with nothing more than a simple stare.
Her eyes shifted past Sanzon as she was attempting to look at Wiseman. This killer intention that seemed like it was being bottled up. Such feroucity... Seemed like Sanzon caused anger to occur just about anywhere he went. This would be quite bothersome if something were to happen to cause the party to end early. Though after Wiseman had left into the party and made the passing comment, Izumi seemed to worry.
Looking to Shiori who looked to be quite good at putting up a front, though she blatantly blamed her for Wiseman acting the way he did, which caused a confused look to permeate upon her face. This just made her question as to whether she should join them or not.
To Sanzon, Izumi wouldn't physically recognizable, and spiritually, if he was sensing her, her spiritual signature was mostly the same but there was a slight difference to what it use to be, like something was added to her very core and spiritual make up. Her phone buzzed which caused her to flinch a little as she had not expected anyone to respond as she pulled out her phone and looked to it see that it was a text message from Jyn.
Her heart stopped as she stared, maybe he was going to give her an apology for not coming, or even informing her to just have fun on her own. Though that would probably be besides the fact that she was trying to force him to come and didn't really give him a choice. What the hell did it matter! She was the girlfriend and usually didn't give much choice to the boyfriends in certain things. But even still even if it was obvious that he wouldn't come. She had given an attempt to try and bring him. Opening the message she could only frown and then turned off the phone, she didn't even bother sending a message back.
Izumi would give a response to Shiori. "I shall go apologize to Wiseman then, though I do wish to speak to you later, please take care." Izumi gave a light bow as she would look to Sanzon as she walked behind Shiori. Her gaze locked upon him, her stare clearly stating 'I'm watching you.' And she walked past Shiori and past Sanzon stating to Sanzon. "Careful now." with no real reason behind it as she just sauntered past him, not even letting him know who she was, even if he held an idea to it.
From there she headed into the VIP entrance and went inside to look for Wiseman. He spoke about the drink's so it seems like her destination was going to be the bar and that's where he headed to find him.

There was something in his nature that made him hate the Kami. That much was obvious. The oni and kami had never gotten along. Two opposing forces. But, there was more to this now than just natural hate. Oni intially viewed humans as weak litle things. But he had taken a different view from the norm. Even going as far as to protect one like he was Shiori. So, despite first glances he was perfectly willing to change his mind if fact contradicted nature. However. The mans passing comment to him, along with that little smile was almost enough to cause him to break there and then. That little voice inside of him, the madness. It'd been boxed up. Getting smaller and smaller. Or at least. Thats the way it appeared. The madness was the power of the masque. It had been so tempting back there.Just to don the mask. And break his face. And to laugh his head off whilst doing so. But. It was dangerous. And as much as he despised the thought of that...thing. Talking with Shiori.He wasn't about to risk hurting her and losing himself by putting on that mask. Or exposing himself by starting a fight here.
However. What was worse. Was behind him. He caught a flash of Kyouya following him in a mirror. He stopped. His faux smile dropped into an emotionless mask. Staring into the eyes of Kyouya. He quietly spoke."...I don't care what Shiori told you to do Kyouya. Your job is the same as mine. Protecting her. Now go and do that. That person shes with...". He gritted his teeth before moving to the bar proper and taking his seat. " I need someone I trust making sure shes fine...". He waved him off. In truth he was disappointed by the fact Shiori sent him away in the first place. There that little voice again, dirty little secret, wanted to be alone with the Kami. Just what secrets is she keeping? Anyone in this town she hasn't slept with? Laughing voice in his head, but he turned back on the mask of a grin. New plan. Drown out the voice with alcohol.
"Whiskey. Straight. Leave the bottle".
The barman nodded, headed behind the bar, brought out a single glass and the bottle. He poured his own. Downed the first glass. Staring at the wall opposite as the warm burning sensation moved down his throat and into his stomach. His spiritual senses brought up something on the radar that he recognised.Someone from outside. He turned his head ever so slightly to see the cat girl. She seemed to be heading this way. For a slight moment, the twitch on the side of his lips that was a smile was a real one. He was glad that the girl had decided to take up his invitation for a drink. " Izumi!". He called out in a friendly manner, waving her over and gesturing to a seat next to him.
" Glad to see that you've come".

Kyouya followed Wiseman into the club, trusting Shiori to be able to handle the blonde male. She had the other guard with her and her own abilities would aide her should trouble arise. But he would not be gone long. That flicker of abandonment he had seen in her eyes when Wiseman left, it had not sat well with him. While he had come to accept the Oni, more like a partner. A co worker. But he and the other were like minded. Both seeking to help Shiori blossom and grow in her position. But also protecting her, not always physically it seemed these days.
He was cam as Wiseman spoke to him, arching an elegant ebony browat how he was acting. If Kyouya recalled correctly. The blond man was a kami. Shiori had mentioned him before when the man would come and see her at Moonbucks. He sighed when he watched the Oni go to the bar and order whiskey. He walked over as he downed the first amount then called to the other woman. He leaned in close to Wiseman so that he would not have to shout over the music. "You did not stay for the look on her face. She was terrified when you left. Also she looked abandoned by you, Wiseman. As for that woman you are calling. That is the woman who the fool Jyn left her for. I don't care if that is a Kami out there. Shiori would rather have you beside her. But if you cannot even stand by her side. Then.. Why are you here, Wiseman?" One his piece was said he would move back and nick the glass from Wiseman to serve himself, downing a fair amount. He would need this to go to the sixth floor where the real dangers awaited them.
~~~~~
One by one I am left alone except for a single guard. I believe his name is Hatsuharu. He's an odd man. With white hair and black underneath it. I had been tempted to ask if it was natural when I first saw him. But I gather myself and step closer to Sanzo, holding myself in a business-like fashion. His words make me nearly smile. Ah. So he truly does not know who I am. He thinks I got VIP because of Jyn. Well. Then the ball is in my court it seems. I offer him a gentle smile, Hatsu remaining close, showing he is there to guard, not to eavesdrop.
"I am no longer dating, Asei-san. We broke up quite some time ago. I am here for myself," I say in a polite manner, the wings on my back fluttering as my power senses the Kami's power. Always seems to happen around spirits. I don't know why. "If you must know. The woman you met was simply me being a rebel and not wishing to conform to the wishes of my family. But I have recently decided to take up the mantle I was given at birth. You see, Sanzo. I am here because I was invited as the heiress to Kyro Corporation. I apologize that I never spoke of it before this night. But I honestly believed I would never return to assume this role."
Really now.. this had taken an interesting turn. So she was no longer under the protection of the commissioner. Running a hand through my hair, I would pull the blonde locks to the side before giving a light yawn. too much business had made me rather tired, and the night had barely begun. thinking of the commissioner, and the new relationship we had partaken in, I wondered about all of it. I wonder how he had taken that. it was a rare catch to lose, and I had no pity for him in doing so. After all, there were more important things to deal with. With my dealings here, I had taken a stronger grasp on the underworld down here, and was absolutely loving it. With a light bow of my head, I would give her a normal formality.
"Congratulations on your work.. it has been a fair deal of time since I have seen you. Are you still making tea? I have yet to find a body that makes it quite like you do."
Returning to my normal position, I would pull my legs up and cross them while floating there in front of her. she had another guard with her, which didn't really bother me. It would have been much nicer to have her in a singular position, but seeing her at all satisfied my mind. She had no changed a bit, at least to my eyes. A woman who had hunted spirits, and made tea for an angel. Smiling, I would keep things simple and casual.
"So.. That Jyn's replacement? "
Well this all seemed to be turning into a mess, I thought with a sigh. I couldn’t even order a drink to sooth my nerves; I was a year shy of drinking age, but that never stopped me in the privacy of my own home. I hung on the edge of the dance floor, watching others as they danced and mingled before noticing something on the wall. It was a full list of what each floor had and who was playing. I studied it a bit longer than I should have, without anything else to occupy myself. Suddenly soothing caught my attention. “A haunted house?” Well there was an idea, I didn’t need friends to enjoy that, perhaps I’d even make a few, there was something about screaming and laughing with total strangers that always broke the ice, at lest it wasn’t dance related, I really couldn’t sand dancing. With a more confident nod to myself now that I had something to entertain myself I headed for the elevator, careful of the lone wing that it did not get torn like the first. Maybe after the haunted house I’d stop and see Sousukes band, he wasn’t really a friend, but he was someone I’d like to get to know better, and I’d seen his band’s name on the poster down stairs. I smiled to my self, the night had started off rough, but maybe I’d end up having fun after all.
Harsh. Thats all he could say about Kyouya's words. He was speaking as iff he abandoned Shiori out there with the damned self rightous bastard. No. He'd went in for her own good. Didn't know if he could control his own instincts.Control his temptation to pull in the power. To put on the madness. But he couldn't help but admit to himself that Kyouya's words struck a chord. He had promised that to her. And here he was. About to sit down drinking with another woman. He shook his head as Kyouya explained just who Izumi was. And it was almost enough to make him bury his own face in the palms of his hands. However. He couldn't exactaly be discordial with the woman. She had after all done nothing against him. So he would treat her with the respect she deserved. Still remaining a gentleman. Torn between heading outside to Shiori. And awaiting Izumi for the drink they had discussed.
But then he looked up at Kyouya. It wasn't going to be much of a relaxing drink with this situation hanging over head like a dark cloud. He sighed and looked up at Kyouya. He would likely be returning with Shiori. And he doubted that Izumi would want to be hanging around with the ex girlfriend of her current boyfriend. Particularly if that boyfriend had been...hm. He didn't think he would be bringing that up any time soon. He stood up, sliding the chair away from himm. He walked over to the approaching Izumi and rubbed the back of his head. " I apologise...Duty calls...rain check?....". He lightly shrugged, a frown of his own tugging at his face. He hated doing this. Just went against his nature. But....indeed duty did call. He made a promise to her.
He approached the VIP exit again, and the stench of that Kami once again polluted the air. His words from before floating around in his mind. Arrogant bastard. Before he even knew what he was doing. The masque formed in his hand. His finger through the eyehole. Spinning it absentmindedly. A grin spread across his face. He pushed out into the air of the night. Looking at Shiori. Appearing just in time to hear the last part. Even now. Was taking all of his strength to restrain his nature. " Lady Shiori....". He spoke rather formally. "...I was just wondering....this occassion...does it call for a change of mask?....". He went quiet after that. Just staring at the girl. His eyes drifted over to the man.
Just grinning. Still seething. Word Count: 430 Total Word Count: 3176
He bows his head to me once he takes a moment to absorb my words. I nearly sigh. What was his angle? WHat did he want from me? I mean I know he wanted me to teach at his academy. But something about it just didn't grasp what I saw in my future. THere is so much I can do. I am one of those who Div12 would experiment on if they learned of my new power. It something new for myself. A power that reacts to Spirits. He gives me a congradulations and I nod to it only to arch a brow as he mentions tea. What? I'm only remembered for my tea. I control myself. Something has me on edge. The way Penny left doesn't sit well at all.
My eyes watch as he floats there and I nearly sigh. Did he just want to scream out that he wasn't human? My guard seems to tense at this and I wave my hand, stopping him from seeking his gun. This was not the time for fighting. Also.. I would rather fight with my blades than a gun. No noise after all and who would be able to trace it?
His next words have me freeze, stiffening as if I was just slapped. Jyn's... Replacement. Never. Pen would never be such a foul thing as that. But before I can speak I realize Penny is there and he heard what was just said. My heart nearly stops when I see the thing he is twirling. No. Not here. Please not here. I move toward him as he speaks and I'm shaking my head. I step close, one hand resting on the wrist of the hand holding that damnable mask. My other hand would lift to cup his cheek. "Pen.. Not here.." I whisper to him, a soft desparation in my voice. "Not here.. Please.." I plead with him softly. I can't see him like that again. I felt like I had almost lost him the last time that mask came into appearance.
"Its all right. Please, Pen. No fighting. And... Not with that.." I say to him softly, my hand seeking to move the mask from his face so I can look into both his eyes. I smile for him, showing him that I'm okay. Showing him I want him to remain here and not allow that madness to manifest. Especially here with so many people. "We would have to leave... And I wanted a dance from you.." I add, hoping that this will keep him grounded.
"Also Sanzo... I would never find a replacement for Jyn. That is an insult to any man I decide to love after that love has been left behind me. Do choose your words much more carefully. I find it insulting that You would refer to Pen that way when he is a thousand times more loyal than Jyn," I finally say, my eyes never leaving Penny's.
Placing my feet back on the ground, I looked across at the human with the white hair. How interesting that an assumption could be given of instinct, that a bullet would be able to even touch my skin. Turning, I met with another face, and a strange gaze. there was something about this one that set off my interest. Maybe it wasnt a replacement, but an upgrade. Any way I looked at it, he was in my way.
"At the end of the day, a dog is still a dog.. I chose my words as I wished, and mean exactly what I say... You make the best tea in this realm, and your conversations always gave me a break from business... "
Sighing, I would dig my hands into my pockets while facing the two of them. It was interesting to see such blatant hostility from someone who had absolutely no knowledge of my own self. With her latest comment, I felt a slight bit of irritation in her voice. I was not meaning to antagonize, just return her idle banter. There was more than one way to get what you wanted, and a replacement for her had been found rather easily. I thought about the kyro corporation for a moment, and marked it as something I would have to look in to later.
The report came in that the main party would have been started at the decoy location. That aside, things seemed to maintain normalcy around the city. If nothing, the trick or treaters would be extra safe this night. After a few moments of standing by and receiving play by play updates of the city, I remember that a text message hadn’t been returned by Izumi yet. My hand reaches into my pocket as I pull my phone back out to double check that I hadn’t missed anything. Looking at my phone confirmed that I hadn’t missed any messages or calls; I noted this as odd. As someone who normally accommodated me, Izumi normally kept in contact with me on a fairly swift basis. I decide that I would simply manually confirm if she was okay and if she had called me by accident. With my ear piece in, I use the receiver to dial Izumi’s number, at which point I find that her phone was turned off and I am sent directly to voice mail. A frown graces my lips as I figured she might be attempting to call me, so I wait a moment and try again only to receive the same message. I return the phone to my pocket and lift my chin back up as I look towards the monitors and attempt to resume things as normal, but as time proceeded, something didn’t sit right with me and I couldn’t tell if I were concerned or annoyed. There wasn’t any way something bad could happen to Izumi if she were where I thought she were, but I didn’t know for certain… which is probably what bothered me. Walking to one of the techs, I have him trace the location of my last incoming call. He confirms that the cellular transmission had come from the area of the Lower Commons where Club Hype was and asked if everything was okay. I advise him not to worry and to continue as normal. Going to the party to check and see if my girlfriend was okay definitely would not be a ‘good luck’ as the fallen cohorts of my past would put it. I attempt to push away my concerns as I coax myself that things would be okay and I would simply ask Izumi what that was about later. For now, I would continue to work as normal here.
Izuya found himself standing in line at the general admissions. The line was long, but at least there was entertainment during the process. There was the band on stage as well as the other freaks that were in attendance, providing something colorful to look at while he waited. Ever the social butterfly, Izuya finds himself coming into conversation with a group of girls who were standing in line behind him. The conversation consisted of much laughing and talk about the party, though it would have been much more fun for Izuya if he could read their minds. They didn’t seem complicated enough to maintain his attention, so by the time they reached the entrance and got in, Izuya distanced from them and proceeded onto the first floor. It would seem like the first floor was geared towards the people who lived in this particular region of the city; that was good, get them as far away from the upper floors as possible. “Oh no,” he giggles looking about the room, “not my style.” With that, he takes the stairs to the next level up. Now the second floor was more his speed. Instead of walking up the stairs into the second floor, his hands are already above his head as he comes bouncing into the second floor through the crowds, “Pika pika!” Now all that was needed was a cute girl… or boy to dance with.
Holloween at Da Hype!
Club Hype, First Floor
Once again I find myself in the part of the city known as the Lower Commons. As I move through the streets I notice large lights in the night sky that seem to be coming from deeper in the commons. While looking up into the night sky at the lights my curiosity begins to get the better of me, fueling my desire to know why the lights are shining in the sky. With the desire to see what the source of the lights in the sky are I adjust and continue my charge down the street, though now heading towards the source of the lights in the sky. Drawing closer to the origin of the large lights I begin to hear the sound of music which only add more fuel to the desire to know what is going on. Coming upon the origin of the lights and music, I come to a stop, glancing around at the scene that lay before me. I hold my ground for a moment, watching the large stage and great deal of people that seem to be enjoying themselves. Shifting my gaze from the large stage, I glance over to a building that people dressed in different outfits seem to be going into. I shift my gaze over some of the people dressed up in variouse costumes and glance down at my outfit. After looking at my outfit for a moment I lift my gaze back to the people and begin moving, making my way over to the people going into the building, Club Hype. Stepping into the club, I glance around for a moment as I come under assault from the music playing in the club and more people in costumes. Moving forwards, I shift through some of the people and continue pushing forwards as I glance around at the other's here. It seemed like an interesting place to be at the moment, perhaps I can find something to do here that will keep me entertained.
Holloween at Da Hype! NPC ARRIVAL MODERATION
Commotion erupts at the entrance to Club Hype as cameras start flashing and fangirls rush towards the entrance ropes to the red carpet. A pearl white Rolls Royce Imperial (or whatever the H2H equivalent would be) stops at the entrance and a driver wearing a white suit jacket with black pants and a black driver hat gets out of the car and walks over to the right side of the car. Security from the black SUVs in front and behind the luxury automobile move to surround the car and secure the red carpet walkway. When even the celebrities and business elite are stopped from entering the red carpet this can mean only one person has arrived...
Upstairs in the 3rd Floor VIP area, the Floor Manager rushes over to Strife and whispers in his ear, "He has arrived, Boss." Strife looks at the Manager and nods with a calm smile. Strife and his entourage move towards the private express elevator to get him down the entrance.
Outside, the door opens and two young ladies, one dressed up as a nurse and one as a race car driver followed by two young men dressed up as two superheroes. Two more young females exit dressed up as an amazon and a witch followed by the Prince of the City in full royal attire. The first words out of the charismatic young man's mouth are, "If I'm going to be called 'The Prince of the City' I figure I should dress the part, yeah? How do I look ladies?" The swooning is rampant. On his way inside, reporters from the Elgoog news subsidiaries approach with questions and Tseng stops his entourage and the reporters. He snaps his fingers in the air and a pair of long legs extend out of the door before silk fabric covers them. The paparazzi go nuts when they notice that the new addition to Fujiwari Tseng's entourage is none other than Watasugi Ryuki, one of Sai City's premiere super models and a Public Relations/Image specialist to the upper echelon of the city. As she approaches to join Tseng, it is obvious that she has not lost her step from the runway since making the career shift. Ms. Watasugi is dressed as a sexy gypsy snake charmer with a relatively high slit in her dress. They pose together for photos together before Ryuki acknowledges the reporters still standing there. "You have questions?"
Reporter 1: "Yes. Though your arrival with Tseng raises more. Tseng, the question still buzzing is what caused a known playboy to take such a more active and serious role in the political arena over the recent year? Is Peter Pan finally growing up?"
Tseng, jokingly: "I really hope not. Then I'd get old and be boring! Seriously though, we have all seen some very disturbing problems arise in our beloved city and I finally realized that I have to do something. I was blessed with the life that I have lived, but what is it truly worth if I don't help others provide for their children the way that my father provided for me. My district believes in me, and they prosper for it, so now my focus is on the improvement of Sai City as a whole."
Reporter 2: "Tseng, that sounds like a bid for the Mayor's office. Are you planning on challenging Mayor Philofer in the upcoming election? The rumor has been that you have gained quite a bit of support from the younger political arena and even key senior officials."
Tseng: "Wait... I'm not taking over my dad's company anymore. Ahh, man. I was looking forward to reading about that again! My district continues to lend ourselves to the betterment and importantly, the security of our city. Perhaps, more attention should be placed there in order to help our honorable guardians of this city rather than caring about my nightlife or rumors that you have heard. You boys enjoy the party."
The reporters clamor to get a clarifying answer to their question. Tseng chuckles and Ryuki congratulates him, "Well played, Tseng. Tomorrow's headlines will now put that question in the city's mind. Is it time for a changing of the guard?" Tseng smirks, "That's what I hired you for. To keep my image looking well and to raise awareness to the problems we face. The old guys will only act if they are pressured. But seriously, tonight, we are here to have fun and dance and then have more fun." Ryuki nods to him as she hooks her arm around his as Strife approaches.
The two men meet and shake hands. They chat about the evening's festivities so that Tseng knows when to be where and Strife, like normal, assigns Tseng's hostess to him and walks with him over to his private VIP section on the second floor. Tseng has similar sections on different floors so that he is always comfortable no matter what party mood he is in.
With Tseng now inside, the red carpet is re-opened as his driver heads off to run errands for the after party. Once they reach the second floor, Strife tells Tseng that his party favors have already been prepared for him. Ryuki tells Strife that Tseng has to refrain from any negative exposure. Strife nods and says, "Good point. We both want what is best for the Prince. Would you like champagne or wine instead, Tseng?" He nods to the champagne and tells him that he wants the gold bottles. The hostess and walks off with the party favors while Strife hangs around for a bit to laugh and joke around with Tseng and Ryuki.
I ascended to the second floor, and took it in a moment. It was much like the first, a sea of people; most in costumes some good, some great and some non-existent. The one that had too stand out most here was the bright yellow pocket monster that bounded around the dance floor chirping “Pika”. It was impossible not to smile at that sight, and I just shook my head in a dismissive manner as I began my assent to the haunted house on the 4th floor. On my up I glanced at he 3rd floor to see if Sousoke’s band was playing. No such luck, the stage looked empty, and only the DJ was playing at the time so I continued on.
Upon reaching the 4th floor I can already see the long line of people waiting to enter the haunted maze/house. Friend clamoring together anxiously waiting their turn. At the other end people come out laughing and screaming, girls clinging to their men and friends in joyful fright. The sounds of spooky audio play and occasionally a muffled shriek of surprise emit from the maze that only antagonizes those waiting in line further. The line was long, and I’m a bit surprised at how many people had already gathered. I take my place at the end, it seems like a long wait but I didn’t have anything better to do so I wait patiently, listening in on the conversations of the others groups around me.
Well it took her sometime to find him, for some reason she couldn't sense him which was odd to her. She wondered why she couldn't find his signature, nor could she see his spiritual trail. Which was odd since everything had a spiritual trail. Did he have something cloaking his signature? She wondered that, but couldn't really think about it more since Pen had called her over. She managed to barely hear him when he had called her over the music. She looked to him and gave a smile, he was a nice guy, which was something she needed to hang out with. Izumi waved to him as she began to walk over to him.
Kyouya was over there as well and was talking with Pen and something seemed to have occurred, but Izumi didn't see nor heard it. Though she did notice that Pen had walked over to her and Izumi was going to say something, but fell short when she heard him call a rain check, her happy meter had dropped. "oh...." her tone fell short. "um y-yeah okay..." she said under her breath as she nodded her head and gave a blank look on her face as she allowed for him to just walk pass to do what he had to do.
She did not feel beautiful right now. She sighed to herself as she finished her walk over to the bar. This night just didn't seem to be going so well for her. She pondered on if she should just leave her right hand did a nervous reaction to which it curled and began to poke at her own thigh on her side, like a little id attempting to be cute. She looked around, not sure what to do now, guess she should go sit at the bar.
So she headed to the bar and looked so an empty sit with the most empty seats from people, but that wasn't going to happen at this party, the only space available was the spot where Pen was. So that was the spot she had went for, which was next to Kyouya, unless he move, and she didn't sit down but stood there and looked toward's the various different bottles that was up against the wall. She lifted a hand to the bartender to gather his attention. "Your strongest drink please off the rocks."
