Home Visit

Looking into the night sky, I slowly shift my gaze across the endless dark abyss and let out a soft sigh. Though I didn't know why, inside I had begun to desire going back to Onitoshi, back to the place I was born, if you could call it that. Though I wasn't sure how such an endeavor would turn out considering what I had left behind in Onitoshi and not went and seen yet, but that was something that would probably happen anyways and was best if it happened sometime soon rather then sometime later. With this thought in mind, I slowly begin to raise from the ground, levitating myself into the air before setting my feet upon the ground. After setting my feet on the ground I begin to speak, " I guess it is time... " I murmur softly to myself before lifting my gaze back to the sky, " Darkness of the void, guide me on my journey. " I add, chanting to call forth a portal. As the column of energy begins to manifest above me, I close my eyes and remain still as it rains down onto me.

I keep my eyes closed for a few seconds after casting the spell, before finally opening them. Upon opening my eyes I am met with the familiar sight of large demonic red trees. Shifting my gaze from side to side, I scan the area in front of me and let out another soft sigh, " It's been to long. " I mumble to myself. Now that I had returned to the place of my birth, I began to wonder if I could remember anything about it and where things are.. There is no telling what type of changes have taken place in my absence, but there was only one way to find out, if such a thing was possible. With this thought in mind, I begin to move forwards through the depths of the forest in search of things from my past.

He'd been waiting. Waiting in the pent house for another visit. After all thats how things tended to go. He'd get the job done in the human world. Head back to his pent house in east city and then relax for awhile. His own schedule was kind of hectic. Particularly now with the ruling of Gera'Sey being part of his duties. Fooling the local human populace into believing the guise of Wiseman. Wasn't difficult. The tiger pelts he wore ensured they wouldn't be able to tell he was an Oni. And just a bit of humanisation in his voice and emotions. And he made a very convincing human. No the real trouble of his life as of late had been jumping between the two personas. Wiseman. Guard of Shiori. Employee of the Kyro corperation was supposed to be. Smart. Social. Gentlemanly and kind.On the other hand. Whilst in Onitoshi.

Pennywise. The archdemon of Gera'Sey was expected to be ruthless. Cunning. Bloodthirsty. Harsh. Jumping from one to the other within a relatively short space of time was begining to tire him. However if anything had came well out of this week it was that running Gera'Sey had gotten slightly easier. In the first week of his rule he was astonded just how many Oni didn't get that murder and rape meant execution. The floor of his throne room had to have been mopped at least 30 times within the space of a week.Regardless. They seemed to be getting the idea now. And less and less criminals were being dragged before him for conventional. Or in some cases. Unconventinal. Justice.

For now. He'd decided to take a little break. In his early days before this whole lordship hoo ha. He'd spent quite a lot of time in Solvay forest. And in a way still did. Well. Its spiritual counter part, Vinticus anyways. But he'd not sat down like he once had. To relax. To think. It always involved fighting or training. Not just letting his thoughts fly free. So. He'd come here to do just that. Leaning against the red bark of one of the trees. Staring out into the distance over Gera'Sey.

Home Visit

As I move through the woods I begin to hum lightly to myself, slowly shifting my gaze from side to side as I scan over the forest around me. Everything around me seemed so distant and foreign, but at the same time it felt close and familiar, this was the place I had taken my first breath and step before moving on to other things. As my thoughts shift to the one I had left here I fall silent for a moment, frowning faintly as I shake my head faintly, perhaps I will find her in this forest, if she is still alive that is, but we shall see. Shifting my thoughts I begin to hum once again as I continue scanning the forest while moving forwards. Coming upon the edge of a clearing, I come to a stop and glance across the clearing to a cave. I hold my ground for a moment and gaze across the clearing at the cave before I begin to move once again, making my way from the woods and across the clearing to the cave.

Coming to the cave, I stop in front and stand there for a moment before stepping into the entrance of the cave. As I enter the cave I take in a deep breath and let it out with a sigh as I glance around the inside of the empty cave. While shifting glancing around the inside of the cave I recall my time spent here with my companions before we had to move on. As my moment of nostalgia began to fade I turned and took my leave of the abandoned cave that I once called home. Making my way back to the woods I begin my trek through the woods with no true direction chosen, simply wandering for the moment. If the people I seek are here, they will find me or I will find them.

As I move through the woods I begin to focus my senses and start sensing the spirits around me and within the radius I can detect them. If the one's I did seek where close by then finding them this way would be much easier then simply walking around searching for them. I begin to hum once again as I sense the spirits around me. Not to long after I had began searching for the signature of someone stronger then the typical spirits you find in the forest, something comes with in sensing range. As I begin to sense the signature, I pause for a moment, focusing on it, though it was not the signature of the ones I seek, but something else.. Despite the fact that it wasn't someone I seek, I begin moving towards the signature to see what it could be.

OOC: Rune just a heads up in future. Penny doesn't actually give off a spiritual signiture anymore. Whilst wearing the tiger skin jacket lining. He's undetectable to spiritual senses. But I'll just say he left his jacket behind today. =).

It was rather warm ( funny thing to say considering the location) today, so he'd left his jacket back in Gera'Sey. Not that it really mattered. However the jacket lining was extremely useful when it came to sneak attacks. And he couldn't really risk losing the thing if he took the jacket off in this heat. After all it was the thing that allowed him to maintain the guise of wiseman whilst travelling with the boss lady. He flicked out a packet of cigarettes out of his pocket. Placed one in his mouth, followed up with a quick flip action on the lighter. And took his own draw of that sweet addiction. Not as if it was really going to kill him. Unlike those humans who partook in the same addiction. The whole air was so relaxing he almost didn't notice the spiritual presense that was coming closer and closer to his location.

There was only one thing that seemed to matter about it. It was strong. Stronger than the typical Oni or Yokai that blundered about this area. They really held no inteest for him anymore. They couldd attack if they wished. But the result in such a thing was easily defined. Hoever...this one. He wasn't so sure of. The cigarette went limp in his mouth. He sat there. Not making any sort of real move. Keeping his body relaxed. Whatever it was. It was definatly heading towards him. He sighed lightly and just leaned back into the red bark of the tree. Whatever was going to happen was going to happen.

It was at this point that, Valkyrist would come within visual range of Penny. To see himw was to see an ashen skinned human formed Oni. A cigarette in his mouth. Hair slightly ruffled up. Without his coat he had on underneath a white shirt with the 3 top buttons undone. However strangely he still wore his gloves on his hands which were felt lined carriage gloves with a cruxifix in the centre of each. His eyes drifted up to the stranger. Rolling the cigarette to the other side of his mouth. " Well well...another visitor to the forests....". He tilted his head slightly, he would for now. Play the humour /friendly card. However. Like most things with Pennywise this was merely a mask. His eyes held within them a strange logic.Yellow eyes which would be analysing this man. Profiling him.

"...Strange...I often come to these forests...yet I have never seen you here before..".

A distinct crawling smirk on the side of his face. Growing like vines up the side of a building. Windng its way up. Twitching. "....And....something tells me that...you arn't a face that I'd easily forget...". Eyes ever watchful. Had to be careful around these sorts. Never knew just what would happen.

Home Visit

I keep my senses locked on the figure in the forest that seems to be remaining still as I approach. On my approach I gauge the strength of the spirit against my own strength and though he did not possesses the same strength as I did, he still possessed power. When the source of the spiritual signature finally came into view I came to a stop and gazed over at the man leaning against the tree. As I look at the figure I find I am a bit surprised that it is a human shaped oni. While gazing at him I glance over his clothing for a moment, which seemed a bit interesting and different compared to the attire I wore, my white kimono falling down to my feet, almost touching the ground, long sleeves that end just short of completely covering my hands. As the demon began to speak I bring my gaze to his face, glancing at the cigarette between his lips before fixing my gaze on his face.

As he makes the comment about me visiting the forest, I slightly tilt my head to the side, my gaze still locked on his face as I watch him. I guess you could call this a visit to the forest... Tilting my head the right way I begin to move once again. Keeping my gaze on the man still I begin to close the gap between us as he continues speaking. As the man finally fell silent I begin to speak, " I have not been in this forest in a while. " I come to a stop after getting a bit closer to the male, keeping a few feet between us for the moment, " I once called this place my home, though that was before I left to travel to other places. " I add as I finally break my gaze from the man and glance away from him and to the forest around us. " What is your name demon? " I ask, glancing back at the demon for a moment before turning my gaze back to the forest as I begin to what had happened during my absence from the forest.
