Visiting Venturion Academy(Antifreke)

Pulling to a stop, I climbed out of my car before locking it. The drive was quite a distance from the apartment I shared with Kaoru, but the invitation was too good to pass up. Leaving the Car I took in the academy, nodding lightly. It certainly was impressive, from outside the gates anyway. Smirking I went to the gate, hitting the button on the intercom, waiting for someone to answer.

"Can I help you?" the voice asked.

"I'm supposed to come see the director about enrollment." I say calmly.

It was the truth, I'd been invited to come check the place out, though I didn't know if any of them were aware. I'd just kind of showed up at the fight club, and gotten sucker punched, only to be dragged into a fight. Shrugging lightly I waited for them to either tell me to fuck off or open the gates, not sure what the hell was going to happen if they didn't let me in. Their loss, I was a straight A student, with skills that had apparently caught the eye of the director. The difficult part was over, the other ten percent was just getting inside this place.

Beauty was certainly something this place didn't lack. Everywhere I looked the courtyard, or as I thought of it 'Kill zone', was spacious and very well kept. Either there was a club at this private school that took care of the gardens or the gardener made a pretty good amount of money. Either way the fountain caught my eye and I couldn't help but find myself wishing I had a coin to throw it.

I was surprised at this place. Most schools while not prisons shared much in common with them. High buildings, windows that were difficult or impossible to open. It was funny to compare them, especially when most children thought of school as prison itself for them. But that was how people saw things around them all the time.

Yawning I followed the man in black inside, looking around as I quirked an eyebrow. The inside was very nice as well, very well decorated and maintained. All around me this place seemed to just flaunt the money it took to run this place. But if this was to be my new school so be it. I glanced around, taking it all in. Strange enough, the place seemed like a place right out of comic books. I could almost picture a secret underground base, but that was ridiculous.

Then again there I was getting a strange feeling. It was almost like someone was watching me but I didn't see anyone. My eyes narrowed as I looked around, trying to shake the feeling of ominousness that surrounded me.

"Audition? What like a test or something because I haven't studied." I said, following the beautiful assistant. "Wait... I remember you, you're the hottie the director left the... club. And you've seen what I can do, so why do I have to take an audition?"

Best not to talk about things like that with people all around. My eyes narrow as I follow her, not happy about being lead along. I know this is going to be a fight and don't like where it's going. Or at the very least it's something they don't want people to know about what they were going to do.

"Interesting enough." I say when there aren't any students around. "So you gonna tell me why it is I have to prove myself? Your boss already knows what I can do so far. He's seen it personally."

They're usually much weaker than they give themselves credit for. Then again there are always exceptions. So what about you, miss? What rank would you be at? I glance out, expecting empty bland hallways lined with various systems, like something out of Star Trek or some other science fiction show out there. Then again I didn't watch a ton of television since I had a lot to deal with at my own school. But then again I was likely to be thrashed by whatever 'leaders' are around. Especially if there are fifteen levels of power and I was only getting off the first floor. None the less this would still be interesting.

Sighing my stance shifted, my arms folding over my chest. My legs set at shoulder width, my feet at a forty-five degree. It was a normal military stance, or it would be if my arms had been locked behind my waist with my hands on the small of my back. My eyes closed as I waited, thinking the whole thing over. There was a lot to take in, but it wasn't something I was afraid of, but there were a few things that she'd left out. And the things that she'd left out were screaming louder at me than the things she'd said.

She'd said 'down' when she said she was taking me somewhere, but we were on the ground floor at the time. Which meant that as of this moment I was underground, under the school, though I had no idea how deep. It was interesting enough already, but yet here I was, finding out about this. I likely wouldn't be getting in if I failed their little test, but at the same time there was no way they were going to let me leave after this. Which meant I couldn't take this lightly.

"Let's get this over with." I mutter to myself.

Quirking an eyebrow at the sight of the scantily clad school girl, my curiosity is piqued. Even more so at the sight of a fully stocked armory. Okay, this was beginning to look really suspicious. But that's just kind of how life is sometimes. As cute as she is I was told to wait there, not wait for a school girl and chase after her. She seems to know where she's going anyway, despite that she seems to be waiting for something. Moving over I lean against the wall. No harm in that, right? The least that she could have told me was what it was I was supposed to expect.

Wait a minute, she said students would be admitting me. But then again it's not right to just assume that the first student passing through was the one I was supposed to go with. She didn't say anything, she didn't do anything, she simply walked by. Though if this was a test to see what I would do in the face of temptation it wasn't bad. She was pretty, very much so, and the outfit, oh god did it scream seductress. But the base urges of the human condition were things that I had gotten over.

The hell did that come from? This time it was different than before, I'd often called myself a pussy but this voice was different. Glancing around the room I continued to wait for instructions wondering what the fuck it was that I had heard.

Yawning I walked to the door, before glancing around. Quirking an eyebrow at her I just shake my head and go back to leaning against the wall. I was told to wait there, and wait there I would until someone that I knew had 'rank' told me otherwise. If there's a sign that says keep out, then there's a damned good reason someone took the trouble to put the sign up. As for this, well I hadn't been told what to look for nor that I would recognize it by a young lady that threw insults.

But I kept my serenity. Anger was only a weapon to one's opponent, that lesson master had beaten into me with a stick. And then to continue the metaphor he'd brutally sodomized me with it. It had taken time but I wasn't one to let my emotions get the best of me.

"I'm afraid I've been asked to wait here. As I have not been told what to wait for, I'm going to have to wait until someone bothers to tell me."

Shrugging I followed after the school girl. As I do I stretch my arms slowly, working my shoulders gently before I bow to her.

"So let's see... Judging by your stretching it's a fight. My guess is that you're a practitioner of martial arts, though I can't tell what style yet... Let's see... My guess is that you know more than martial arts though, otherwise he wouldn't have thrown you against me, not that I'm taking you lightly in the slightest." I said, my eyes scanning her for any kind of signs or indicators. "So are there any rules that I should know about or is it like the fight club?"

"The name's Leon." I say, taking a fighting stance.

With a quick step forward I complete the stance, my heel striking the ground as I extend one arm out in front of me, my fingers set in the proper form. My left arm is tucked in, my left hand under my right elbow. Standing there, watching her my eyes close for a moment before I take a deep breath slowly. My body shakes lightly as my aura darkens, my demonic blood taking over. If I had to compare it to something it might be something akin to that super sai-thing that that one anime had. Though unlike them I didn't transform into a gold, spiky-haired thing.

Instead my aura grew dark just as it had done at the fight club, but this time was different. Letting out a snort a light burst of black flames flashing from my nose. With a quick step forward I turned my body, shifting between combat styles like most people would direction. Shifting from Hung Gar to Northern Shaolin, I brought my leg around before kicking off the ground, my wings flashing into existence. As I went up, my upper body just turned, my heel coming down toward her head quickly.

Smirking, he followed through with the heel strike. Feeling the heel strike the wall he smirked. His body moved with a speed that no normal human could possibly have moved at. But despite his speed he wasn't about to think she was that slow. Shooting over the wall he came down, his hands drawn back before he threw a pair of fireballs toward her from above.

"Tiger climbing mountain!" he shouted above her.

The instant the black flames left his hands, however, he shot to the ground, his wings vanishing once more before he threw himself toward her in a spinning back kick.

Not backing down from the attack I grin, my eyes narrowing. As the attack leaps out toward me I bring my hands together. Around me a column of black fire explodes into reality, buffering the ice shards. I had expected them to melt in the flames, but yet they strike, though it doesn't hurt all that bad. As the ice shards banish the flames around me my body shifts as I drive my hands out toward where her face ought to be. However I wasn't just going to strike at her head.

"Strike the summit!" I say, my hands striking in a quick open palm strike.

Smirking I press the assault, regardless of connecting or not. With a quick straight kick I follow my palm strike, allowing me to draw my arms back at the same time. It was a simple maneuver that we learned in my master's dojo, but one very few ever truly mastered.

"Strike the center!" I say as I kick out.

With my leg extended I shifted my weight, my body turning in a swift spin as I lower to the ground, aiming a back leg sweep for where her knees would be. It was the final move of my combination. I was much faster than normal humans, and moving on par with the speed and strength of demons and angels, so if I missed completely this time I'd be much more surprised.

"Strike the base!"

The fire would be enough of a surprise for her to get serious about the match. No way she would let a non ranked outsider embarrass her in front of the academy directly. Leaping upwards, her arms would slam forward towards the flames. "Remove the air!" In a hurried fashion, the air around her would shift. With the attack from the opponent coming forward gravity in the area would be removed, sending the initial kick up and over while her body bent backwards, then performed a back walk over. The thirty foot bubble surrounding her would have zero gravity. Hopefully, this would take care of the flying and quick movements. "Gotcha.. freeze the skies!" My eyes went wide as the gravity vanished, my body slowly floating up. My eyes narrowed as I floated there, spinning lightly before I'm able to right myself. Or so it feels, but whatever. Glancing at her I saw her throwing the spell at me. Curling up as the white energy struck my arms crossed over my chest as my body grew cold suddenly, frosting over before a layer of ice formed all around me. She had the upper hand, or at least that's how I wanted her to feel for a moment. I floated there for just a bit before flexing, my arms and legs straightening out as I growled.

Shaking I smirked, another spurt of black flames coming from my nose. Bringing my hands back I smirked, my flames forming in them before I brought them together out in front of me. Curling my arms I brought them back behind me, my body slowly turning, almost as if protecting the flames.

"Laughter of flames..."

Thrusting my arms out again much like that one cartoon, the one with the energy blasts, I released my flames, throwing the dark flame at my opponent.

A crack of a smile would come across her face. Of course ice wouldn't be enough to bind a fire wielder. Thankfully, she had a much better plan that that in effect. Her hands would come together, while she hoped displaying something new for those watching would help to put her into a higher level. Falling to the ground, with a grunt I panted. Pushing at the ground I slowly got to one knee. Pushing up I staggered forward a step, but managed to keep my balance. Stepping forward with great effort, my arms hung at my sides and I couldn't help but smirk.

"Come now... We're both getting tired at this rate. You gonna surrender and call it a draw or do I have to keep coming toward you until you run out of energy?" I demanded, taking another step toward her. "For a fifteen level tier place you can't be that high up the ladder. This is the first thing that you did that really hurt."

Her right arm would raise above her head before thrusting straight down to her side. He got up and had the nerve to be a smart ass about how hard she had worked to earn her rank. Thankfully, she would show no reserve against an opponent like him. "pound the guilty." The force would increase again in the exact same manner as before. A nerve had been struck, and now she was irritated. --- "well now, that isn't like her.. " Megan would smile at the new data being recorded while I watched carefully. He was at least a level four. He had pushed her to the point of using two styles of combat, and even playing dirty. Although he had yet to lay a finger on her, he was worthy of admittance here. "Samantha, prepare to wrap it up. "You know what your problem is kid? You're letting others tell you who you are." I say, grinning as I manage to stay standing even under the double enhanced gravity.

It's all I can do to stay up, but at least I'm not being crushed completely. I'm panting, my lungs having a hard time under the heavy gravity as my knees shake under me. My body trembles as I grin at her gently.

"You are only who you are. You're as powerful as you want to be, and nobody has the ability to put a number on it unless you let them. No matter how powerful I may or may not be ranked by this place my power is as strong as I make it. And only I can determine my level of strength. I mean the hottie that brought me down here said I was only at rank two from what she saw. I haven't trained since then, just recovered from what the director did to me. Assuming I could recover from this quickly enough.

The red in my eyes vanished as I stood there, my labored breathing slowing as I rose to my full height slowly. Standing there I bowed to my opponent before raising a hand to the medics.

"I'm fine, and I'm not going to submit myself for testing." I said, standing there not looking at them. "I just need a bed and some rest."
