Race Night (Open)

Adrian glanced around as he came to a stop, his body clad in black leather jacket, blue jeans, steel toe boots, and visored helmet. He slid the helmet off and put it on the seat of his silver sports bike, frowning as he looked around. His dark hair flailed lightly as he waited. He didn't notice Natsuki, or at least didn't appear to notice her. He nodded at someone in the crowd, a smirk crossing his face as he unzipped the jacket. He stood there, his arms folding over his chest as he checked his watch, waiting for the next race he could participate in.

When she pushed me, I almost fell off the back of her bike but managed to pull my self off, holding the helmet at my side as I look around for a moment before looking back to her " You know... You could be a little bit nicer to me, it wouldn't hurt, you can still act like a tough girl and all, I know deep down that your just a softy inside. " I said, flashing her another grin now that she was off her bike. With her question, I pause for a moment and think on it before answering " .. Because? What other reason do you need? Heh.. Besides, with the way you treat me, one might think that secretly you have a crush on me and the only way to show that type of affection for someone is to be mean to them. You don't like me do you Natsuki? " I ask, raising an eye brow as I look at her.

Adrian frowned as he saw her moving through the crowd. He didn't recognize her, not at first. His eyes narrowed as he thought of what she had done to him. She'd humiliated him. And he wasn't going to let it off easy. But now was not the time. He could get his wallet back, and avoid killing at the same time. That is if she were here for the same reason he was, at least. He began pushing through the crowd, moving to intercept her. He pushed his way through, stopping in front of her.

"It seems we meet again. You have something that belongs to me, I believe." he said, his hand extending expectantly.

Ahh, that was the reaction I figured she would give me, though I didn't think she would go that far.. I follow after her as she continues fussing at me and about me, when she finally stops talking I speak up " Well maybe your not my type either, your kinda crazy even when I'm tryin to be nice. Ehh, because I can be happy? " I asked, before I could address the skateboard someone spoke to Natsuki, drawing my attention away from her and to the person speaking.

"I'm here for my wallet. And do you really think I've been waiting around this whole time? Have you no strength of your own? Have you no honor, girl?" he asked, watching her. "You have no true power yourself so you instead summon a demon to fight your battles for you. This proves you're weak. Either way I'm not here for a fight."

He wasn't phased by her semi-transformation as his eyebrow quirking lightly. He waited patiently, not even glancing at Beat, nor caring what kind of scene was being made. He didn't care what other people thought of him.

Great, she wasn't paying attention to anything I had said, well she never really did that anyway so it wasn't something new to me.. Ahh, she was calling someone else a pervert now, that made me feel better, I wasn't the only one she called that.. But then it turned out she knew the guy.. I glanced to her for a moment before looking back to the man. I listen to them and wonder what there beef was, he said she had something of his, she said she didn't, but I had no idea what was going on and who was right.. I watched as Natsuki had some weird blue light come out of her and her hair began to move some.. what the heck, she is a strange girl.. I looked back to the man as he began to speak. He said something about a demon and that's when I looked back to Natsuki " Umm.. We better get going. " I said as I grabbed Natsuki and tried to pull her away from the man " See you later dude. Natsuki got some stuff to do. " I was kinda freaked out with the blue stuff coming out of Natsuki but I was trying to defuse the situation before she got into some kinda fight.

"Enough." he said, moving to block their path. "Protecting your friend is honorable. So for that you have my respect. However I said before I didn't come for a fight. If I had wanted you dead, girl, I would have killed you before you knew it was me. I came to do business, and you are nothing more than a special appearance. But I'll make you a deal. You give me back my wallet, AND my family photo, and in exchange I'll give you my sword. You can give it to your demon friend for all I care. Have we got a deal?"

He was going to have his wallet back one way or another, and while he wasn't afraid to kill human beings, he didn't like it. It tore him apart to slay the people his mother's family had worked so hard to protect. It tore him up that he was reduced to bartering for his property, but he knew the trick behind the Devil's teardrop. To prove his point he pulled the coma shaped sapphire necklace from under his shirt. He waved his hand across it, the black mist swirling as his hand came down. Anyone, that didn't know the trick to it, would probably think it was a magic necklace that stored the Devil's Teardrop. But he wold have to wait until the boy or girl said something.

Now that I had Natsuki and was dragging her away I realized she wasn't all that strong physically.. She seemed pretty weak to be honest. When the man spoke again I came to a stop but held onto Natsuki so she couldn't get away from me, looking at the man. So he wasn't going to attack.. well that was good to know. I looked to Natsuki for a moment, she had said she needed to drop something off and I slowly began to let go of her arms, though I remained poised to grab her again if things went south " Oh.. Ok. " I felt better now that the blue light coming from Natsuki had gone away, it made me feel strange.. The man said something about a sword or something and offered a trade for his wallet along with some other stuff, I was still in the dark about what there beef was but I wasn't about to let a classmate get into a fight with someone, or at least get into a fight alone.. I looked at the man and remained silent, staying next to Natsuki, not stopping her if she wanted to deal with her buisness in a civil manner.

"You're lucky girl. If I had not sworn an oath on my grandmother's name, I would kill you where you stand. But I did. And because you are human, and other reasons, I wont let my blade take your life. Fine. Keep my wallet, but don't expect me to give up at all. Next time I might not be so nice." he said, watching her.

He stood there for a second, releasing his sword. It vanished in a swirl of black mist, before he turned and walked away. He climbed on his bike, and slid the visored helmet on before he kicked it into gear. He was no longer in the mood to race at all.

" Err... Sorry about that. You want me to kiss it and make it better? " The last bits of my statement where said in a teasing manner, wanting to mess with her a bit, maybe lighten the mood. I stood with Natsuki, still looking up at the man as she began to search her jacket for the wallet the man kept asking for. I didn't like how he had his fancy sword out and how it came out, that was pretty freaky... like straight out of the movies... I wonder if he paid a team of CGI artist to do that and he plays it some how... I glance to Natsuki when she said she couldn't find his wallet, that was great now he is gonna get even more mad and slice us up with his fancy butter knife. I look back to the man as he starts talking and when he makes mention of killing her, I step in front of her and look up at the man. When he began to walk away, I nodded faintly and looked back at Natsuki and smiled as I brought an arm up and flexed some " I scared him off for ya. Do I get a kiss on the cheek like they do in the movies? "

I look back at Natsuki when she calls me an idiot and sigh lightly, darn.. I was hoping she would slack up on the names a bit.. I turn around and face her as she speaks and when she shows the wallet I sigh lightly " What?! You had the guys thing but you didn't give it back.. Yeah a cool trick but you should have given it back Natsuki. Mmm, and... are you worried that Ill get hurt being the hero? " I asked giving her a funny look " I'm not just a hero.. I'm a super hero. " I said, flashing another smile as I flex " I just cant fly.. and do the other cool stuff super hero's do.. but I can try, right? hehe " I thought that I had gotten away clean with the comment about kissing her arm since I hurt it.. but I didn't think it would be good to make good on the comment, she might beat the crap out of me... " And, that dude is gone now so we have to go find him to give his wallet back.. and I didn't even find out his name so we can find him. "

When she flicked me on the nose I frowned faintly as I looked at her, about to say something about it but I stop when she starts to speak and when she slaps the wallet onto my chest, I grab it and look down at it for a moment, looking back to her as she starts talking, hoping she would tell me the guys name. But she didn't give me a name, she just went on calling him paladin.. and that didn't sound like an actual name.. more like a class in a video game.. When she finally finishes talking, I expect to get a few words in but before I could she walks off. I sigh and grumble lightly " Stupid Natsuki... " I mumble as I watch her as she walks over to some dudes and talks with them for a bit before she finally begins walking back over to me, I seen she gave up the money and got something in return and wondered what just happened. When she waves to me, I wave back and frown at her statement " What? I thought we were gonna go back to your place and hang out for a bit, maybe have a soda or something.. And.. what did that guy give you? "
