The Ocean Devil (Psyre)

I continue to walk casually with my air of superiority with Sanzon as we make our way to the human settlement for answers. In the middle of our walking, he speaks and it is explained that there is something urgent that he must do. I raise an eyebrow at this notion. He needed to fine his Love. That seemed much like an abstract concept to me. I understood what it was and how it affected people, but I did not feel as if it were something that I would be interested in. In my time living as a man, I enjoyed lust over love as it went move along the lines of power and conquest than surrender. Still, Sanzon interested me enough for me not to care and his promise of a battle was inviting. I nod and give my approval and lift off of the ground with him. I look down and over the human settlement as we pass over, noting its position for now in case I needed to come back. My attention shifts along the land as I keep a peripheral on Sanzon. As we come to our stop, my body vertically lowers feet first and I come to stand to the side of Sanzon. It would seem as if what we were searching for was not here. I look down to the frustrated Sanzon, then back up and across the sea. Unlike Sanzon, something catches my eye in the distance. There seemed to be something odd in the waters of the distance; they seemed to be blackened. Pointing it out to Sanzon, I murmur, “something lies on the water’s surface. Let us check it out.” My feet lift from the cliff’s edge as I take up and off towards the thing of interest.

I was glad to see Sanzon pulled out of his rut easily with the transfer of attention. Emotions where stronger than any sword attacks at time, which is one thing I observed during my time as a mortal and denied myself from in my rise of power. My body slides several meters above the water’s surface as we approach waters becoming increasingly tainted with death and darkness. “A plague of some kind…” I assume as we approach, demeaning it as “vile and disgusting.” I am able to see a battle as we approach with a familiar human fighting against a tentacle creature. After coming within vocal range of the battle at hand, my flight slows as I come vertical and cross my arms at my chest, watching the battle below. “That human ends up in the oddest places…” I remark while watching him. Perhaps this was how he attempted to make himself stronger. Around our height in the air, I notice someone else floating high. It seemed to be a demon, but no one I recognized. Speaking to Sanzon, I comment, “what do you make of this foolishness?” since it couldn’t simply be asked to those in attendance. “Perhaps that cloaked figure has some answers.”

I continue to watch the battle below with my arms folded, with no real lust to attack a sea creature already engaged in battle with another. My gaze shifts curiously to Sanzon as he speaks and comments about the human; he did seem like a busy body in his conviction to show up at large battles. Sanzon speaks truth in his affirmation that I didn’t care about the safety of the human. With a bit of amusement, Sanzon begins his spell with the wager that he could defeat this creature before me. I witness the power of his attack and note movement below from both the swordsman and the roaring of the creature. It was unclear if the roaring was a dying cry or a yell of anger, but still the attack wasn’t enough to void that area of life. With a slight grin, I comment, “it seems you will have to strike harder than that. I’m not sure about the monster, but that human covers himself with a protective spell in battle.” I watch as the Sutra Card ability goes off, something I’ve seen before. I add, “this technique he is doing negates the ability to channel spells within its range of influence. It is a very curious technique.”

After the lightning attack, it would seem that the creature was displeased. It performs two attacks at the ones attacking it. Unfortunately, I was within range of one of the people who attacked the beast. As Sanzon decided to get out of dodge, I figured it would be best to move as well. Still, that would be easier said than done. The hurricane seems to form around us very quickly and aside from that, the size of it was incredibly wide. It would be my luck not to be in the eye of the thing. My body shifts to the side at an accelerated rate as the water and winds combine for the attack. As the harsh winds bite and cut at me, I continue to power through it until I get outside of it. I am soaked by the effects of the hurricane. After escaping it, I look around my surroundings.

I am able to escape the hurricane and in looking down, I am able to notice Sanzon’s attack and the demon’s interruption with the human swordsman. The blob seemed to be formidable as an opponent and seemed to be forcing Sanzon to use some effort. The swordsman didn’t seem to be fairing as well as previously before the blob seemed to become more aggressive. “Hmph,” I murmur to myself with my arms still folded recomposing myself after being soaked for no reason. “Dark servants, go and fetch the boy,” I command. Circle grids form on the waters surface as two large humanoid shadows materialize on the waters a few yards from Adrian’s fallen position. They would run over the water’s surface to him to check on him and relay his fallen status to me. If he was not moving, they would both lift him and pull him away from the blob. He was in Sanzon’s way, which would hinder the demon’s ability to fight at his fullest.

Ooc: Psi, I’m guessing we don’t have to roll our techs here since you auto’d your shield?

Since Adrian returns to moving, the Golems do not attempt to pick him up; rather they turn towards me and lift both thumbs up as if to say, “he’s good.” My gaze shifts to the beast who is struck by Sanzon’s attack and submerges himself. Darkness spreads beneath the surface of the water and it felt as if something where going to happen. Suddenly, water appears around my form and circles around me. Forcibly, my crossed arms thrust out in a showing of physical might matching the intensity of the attack, breaking it with my arms. My golems are not as lucky as they are damaged slightly by the attack. As the waters fade away, I notice a large water dragon before me. I notice Sanzon rush towards the heavens after or during the attack and it seemed as if he were retreating for the time being. I look back down at the dragon. As I look at him, my Golems were already in the process of attacking. One takes the other by the arm and spins around before hurling him up at the dragon. The golem would seek to strike the dragon with a physical flying tackle on impact. After throwing the dragon, the golem who threw would perform random attacks of throwing portions of the debris at the dragon, more so a distraction than anything else. Deciding to attack since attacked, I prepare myself for battle. From what I could view, the demon was large and incredibly agile, perhaps faster than myself. Head out attacks would not work. I manifest my dark blade in my hand during the time my golems attacked at the dragon. With a harsh throw, I chuck the blade, spinning horizontally towards the dragon. Following the thrown blade I would verbally call upon the powers of the kuroretsu that would cause a shadow to form in front of me in a large circle grid that hailed a storm of dark needles towards the dragon (Shadowrave, Strong.)

Ooc: No, you’re entire statement is a cop out. Site rules do not support a type of RP where you roll for everything under Mastered. You roll for everything that’s not Perfected or you do not roll at all. I could care less whether we rolled or not, but if Ash is rolling and you are not, that means there was a miscommunication that needed to be cleared up. You could have simply answered, “no, we’re not rolling.” Therefore, I never voiced that they should be necessary, especially when my query was in the form of a question. These should be simple enough concepts for you to understand. Assume less, read more. Now you may return to IC, unless you want to type "last word" or something.

There is approval on my end as the fierce level water dragon technique takes the Strong hits from my dark needles, but I am disappointed that it still remained mobile and un-dispersed. There is aide from the cloaked demon, I noticed, as he attempts his fire attack to which the water dragon technique responds by performing an additional a technique. While the dragon responds to the cloaked male I rush towards the water dragon, forming my dark crimson blade within my hand. After seeing him move, I start to observe that the water dragon was easier to keep up (magix moves at a Strong rate of speed) than the other creature, which coaxed my counter attack. Rushing past the water dragon, I pull my blade alongside the neck of the water dragon in passing.

The blade slices through the water dragon, administering the final attack needed to break the technique. Something about some golden rays reflects to catch my attention as an attack that doesn’t exist seeks to follow my form. I notice an attack on my personage, and as the touch attack comes to hit my body, my body dissipates in a burst of shadows. Similar shadows form around the Ocean Cretin, binding him in place. I manifest a good distance in the air to his rear (demonic parry) high and dry, not affected by the attack. The other two demons attack, therefore I add my own personal touch to the mix as I call upon the dark skies to vanquish this foe (Dark Skies).
