Where am I?(Spiritual Impression quest)

A flash of light and my body snapped from the void. I doubled over instantly in pain. Something had happened. Something had gone wrong, I could feel it. Slowly I stood to my feet to survey my new surroundings. I was in the middle of a graveyard, tombstones and trees covered the area, and off in the distance I could make out the skyline of a city. At least the teleportation had worked, I had made it to the mortal realm, but it had taken far more out of me than I had ever expected it would. Holding up my hand to a tombstone I muttered an incantation "power of the void envelope me". A few sparks from my fingers and nothing else. Apparently I had lost my void powers. This was unexpected and worried me quite severely, would I ever be able to get them back? I again tried the incantation but as before nothing happened. For now I would just trust that my powers would come back again in time. I made my way down through the rows of tombstones towards the city. Eventually I came out of the expansive graveyard into a section of the city that seemed mildly like home to me. Looking around I walked out into the road. I hadn't been paying attention and turned in time to see a large object traveling towards me at a great speed. Before I could react it had already passed through me without causing me any harm, though it did tingle a bit. Apparently even though I had made it into the mortal realm, I wasn't able to actively interact with my new environment. That would have to change very soon, otherwise I'd never be able to have any fun.

I made my way to the other side of the street where there were several commercial buildings lining the street on this side, and people walked down the sidewalk to wherever they might've been heading. I looked around the area as the people past through my ethereal form. I thrust my hand forward into a random passerby and nothing happened. A frown came to my face as I realized that although I made it to the material realm, the teleportation had drained enough energy so that I hadn't manifested in a physical form on the plane. I was currently stuck as a spectator. Now what to do about that? Perhaps it would just take time for the energy to return to my body so that I could manifest in this new plane of existence. With these hopes I retreated to an alleyway where I wouldn't be disturbed. I sat down in the back of the alleyway away from the bustle of the sidewalk. I slipped into a meditative state that would help me regain my lost energy at a faster rate. I recapped my departure from Onitoshi, I had grown bored of the same surroundings after such a long period of time, and word had reached me that the gate to the human realm had been opened. I however decided to use my void powers to teleport myself between realms. It was a test of my strength unlike any other, and now I had paid the price. Darkness seeped into my mind, I let the essence of the void envelope me and restore my energy.

I kept in my meditative state for a very long while. There I sat in the back of this alleyway with my eyes closed, in a cross-legged position. I could feel the energy coming back to me, soon I would be able to create a physical body on the mortal plane. I opened my eyes and then stood up. I made my way out to the sidewalk where people were still wandering to and fro. I closed my eyes and then let out a deep controlled breath and attempted to shove a random passerby off course. This was really my only way to test my affect on the physical realm as I seemed to have lost my void manipulation abilities. To my surprise I sent the individual stumbling to the side. I paused for a moment with a dumbfounded look on my face. The "victim" of my assault snapped his gaze toward me, it was at this point that I gave a sheepish grin before turning on my heel and running down another alleyway while yelling "I'm a real boy!!!" With any luck the potential pursuer would just shrug me off as some sort of eccentric. Worst case scenario he'd chase after me and I'd then pummel him in a back alley somewhere. After running a short way down the alley i turned to see that the individual had not bothered to pursue me. A smile crossed my face as I realized my success, I now had a physical body on the mortal plane. I leaped into the air and stretched an arm up in a fist pump as my feet left the ground "YATTA!!!!"
