| Prologue: The wayward priestess had finally returned to the land of Domenance drawn by mystical forces into the life she fled from in fear. There to greet here was not the one she sought, but those who served him. On her arrival, she was informed that the Lord of Domenance was not in this realm, but another realm entirely, in another time. She was given the choice to follow him into this demonic realm, and with a bit of coaxing, she agreed to it, being led by the fairy known as Paco. Hakim was notified on the issue to assume control of Domenance until Paco’s return. The priestess was reunited with her mount, given a sash to wear about her body (Sash of the Demon Cherub) and lead to the portal between time realms. Traveling through that portal, they entered the realm of the future and from there, proceeded westward to the Gateway of Hell. Much longer than the fairy had originally stated, it took until the next day to eventually reach the destination they were seeking, as they had to travel overnight. Day had already broken over the lands by the time they reached the point in the skies above the forest that would lead them down towards the gates of hell. Pausing in the air in that moment of arrival, Paco turns his attention to Kazakura to make sure she was alert and warns her, “the forest below is brimmed to the top with Demons. That sash will protect your body from deteriorating in Onitoshi, but it will not protect us from demons. Until we reach the Lord, I suggest we flee from any possible hostile encounters.” 279

|  | I slept as Kaelas flew, only to awaken as we passed into the future portal. I had sworn I never wanted to see the future. I had sworn never to come here. With Time being such a fickle thing, I wonder what kind of ripples I had just created. Like a pebble, thrown into a pond, however minor the first ripple maybe, the ones after start to get bigger. At one point in time, I had told Domen, that I would never set foot through this portal. Another lesson learned. Never is too strong a word to use for something. I would NEVER work with a demon, I would NEVER set foot into the future,and so forth. But here I was, in the future and would be going into the realm of demons to be at his side. My mind wondered if he would recognize the significance of my journey to him. I have broken rules and crossed lines I had set, in order to come find him.
Paco's words came to mind, and in my silence, I nodded to him and took a deep breath. The Portal to Hell Lay before us and it was a scary thought. Steeling my backbone and nudged the tiger into the dive. "Let us find him then Paco. We will flee until we get to him. I do not believe I can take on a demon by myself." And with that, unless something else came up, We would be through the portal and into Hell.
