I felt pretty accomplished to this point. I had given a piece of my mind to that dumb cop from the past, I had gone to the underworld and participated in a tournament where I was not eliminated in the first round, and now I had returned back to my time, somehow, to continue my training. I was feeling pretty good about myself. I knew I was nowhere near the league of ability as those other people in the tournament, but that didn’t mean that I’d be discouraged. It actually pumped me up. I knew that training on my own wouldn’t really do anything, so my plan was to meet up with other people with special powers to learn from them and increase my own strength. So far, I knew that I could use fire power and wind power. I would just have to work with both of those for now and try to pick things up from other people. I didn’t really know a lot of people with powers. Natsuki was pretty good with guns, but there wasn’t anything really supernatural about her. The cop turned out to be a pretty normal human and I hadn’t seen my master around in a while since he was probably still in the past realm. I did know of one lady who banished me to a village once who seemed to have an interesting power, though.
I stand before the Metro office of Division 12 standing in a mock pose with my fist on my waist. A cocky grin is across my lips as I figured the cops chick probably hung out here as well. Internally I think, “I’ll draw her out and make her teach me how to banish people” with a fist pump.
I cross the distance between the parking lot and the doors to the Division HQ, looking around and wondering if cops really needed a place this nice to be their HQ. After entering and looking around, my glare shifts to the front desk and I walk towards it. The male attending the front desk sitting behind a circular wooden counter holds a phone to his ear as he types something on a visual screen in front of him. Slamming my hand onto the chest high wooden counter and leaning my arm on it, I get the males attention and command, “give me the woman with the huge boobs!” The man jumps as if shocked in a ‘don’t scare me like that’ type manner, but then raises his eyebrow and says, “you mean, Izumi?... wait! You don’t have access to be in here. Leave before I have security escort you out.” I lean back then frown, “I pay my taxes! I paid for a portion of this place! If Izumi-boob-san is here, I need to speak with her!”
There’s a back and forth that gets security’s attention. Aside from them preparing to escort the ‘child’ out, a call comes to my new and shiny office for a heads up on the situation. The phone would ring to Izumi’s desk first.

By this time, the side doors had opened into the lobby and two security guards stepped out, looking official with their uniforms, shades and various attachments on their belts. Still arguing with the man behind the counter, I comment, “okay, how about you get her, or I get her? If I get her, I’m putting my foot up your ass. Do you know who my uncle i…” I turn and notice the guards walking towards the lobby. “…why the hell would anyone where glasses inside? This is a good indicator that the cops have too much money. Just get the big breasted woman and there won’t be any trouble.” Internally I was grinning since I knew I was being unreasonable and provoking the cops. I kind of wanted to show off at the moment though; these men were not as GAR as me and I knew it.
The two security guards hear what I say and pause and look towards each other, then nod, “he means Izumi.” My jaw drops as I speak in a low, semi normal voice, “you’ve… got to be kidding me…”
Over the phone line, one of the voices from the control room, a male who liked to acquaintance himself with Izumi and speak to her in the elevator and such, speaks, “Izumi… this is Jose in the security office. Normally I wouldn’t bother you, but there’s some weird kid in the lobby asking for you. We’re going to kick his ass for you, so don’t worry… unless you know him or something? He might be your little brother or something… I’ll send the footage to your computer… you should see it now.”

| | So it was Jose, he was a nice person, though his flirtatiousness got annoying at times. She smiled hearing this, to e honest the way he spoke sounded a bit cute, though the information was a bit interesting. Izumi was an only child, but she checked out the footage as she leaned back just enough to look at her computer screen. She saw what he was talking about and she just arched a brow. How did he find me here? It was certainly an interesting thing, but she really didn't want any of them. The thought of the security guard's beating him into the ground was a funny one, but she sighed. Clearly it could be heard over the phone. "Just hold him there, I'll be right there Jose, see you soon, Thank you." she said with a smile as she got off her desk and placed the phone back on the phone holster, thus hanging up the phone. She fixed her outfit as sighed. "I wonder what this one wants." She placed the vanilla folders on her desk as she left from the office heading for where Seiki was.

Jose relays the message to the guards at the front desk who touch their ear when they get the message. I grin and fold my arms. “You guys in the matrix?” I ask in a teasing tone. “Look, do what I say or you’ll end up like that Asei cop.” They pause for a moment and then chuckle finding it amusing. “Oh, that’s funny? He didn’t tell you how he was begging for mercy when my size nine went across his face?” I stand casually and toss my hair, “I guess I wouldn’t tell anyone either.” One of the guards points and speaks, “you watch how you speak about the captain.” I smirk looking to the male. If he was the captain, I can only imagine how weak you are.” The man lumbers forth and comments, “okay kid, it’s time to calm down and come with us. You’re causing a ruckus in the alleyway.” His arm reaches out for my wrist. My body moves swiftly from its relaxed position as my hip rams against his with my back to him, and he finds himself hip tossed onto the ground in front of me. With the act, I hear several clicks as guns are lifted at me. I pause and look around, releasing the guards hand as I lift my own hands. “Pointing a gun at a civilian? I guess if cops don’t get their way, they get pissy and have to take the easy way out,” I taunt. I figured they were all normals; getting out of here would be a cinch, but I start to wonder if I had pushed it a bit too far in all of this. Even with my uncle’s connections, I knew I could still get in big trouble; I wasn’t a celebrity just yet.

Izumi’s arrival may have saved me from getting shot, but of course, that was one of the furthest things from my mind. The security guards look to her as she enters into the scene. The male who was hip tossed picks himself up from the ground and steps forwards and belts me one good in the stomach as my attention is on Izumi. The guard turns to Izumi and smiles, “sorry, I just had to get him back.” Leaning over from the punch, I cough slightly, “fricken cheap bastard…” I rub my stomach and stand back up. The guard points to me and says, “you’re lucky she’s here. Normally we’d take you in, but she works for someone pretty important, so we’ll let her handle you.” The male behind the counter speaks, “sorry you had to come down here. People are just rude these days. Luckily he’s just a punk and not one of ‘them.’” By them, he meant a demon, but I wasn’t paying enough attention to even hear him, much less decipher his words. The larger guard who had punched me, folds his arms and looks to Izumi assuring her, that they would stand by incase they were needed. The receptionist goes back to his work after his words to Izumi. “Shut up…” I moan annoyed, “you’ve got to be shitting me if that cop’s actually someone important. And you’re his chick… or not his chick according to you… whatever, that doesn’t matter. I need you to teach me how to warp and stuff so I can do better in the next Onitoshi Tournament and fight demons and crap.”

Ducking away from the punch if it came, I would look at her after her words; I was once again interrupted. I took the punch almost as if it were my bigger sister chastising me for absolutely no reason; but since I didn’t have one, I couldn’t know for sure what that was supposed to feel like. The two guards and the receptionist find the back and forth amusing, especially the part when I got hit in the mouth the first time. The larger guard stands with his arms folded about his chest with a grin on his face as if taking this all in to recount to his buddies about later. For a moment she catches me off guard again with asking what I was talking about, but with a grin, I realize that this was a test to prove to her that I knew my stuff. “Okay, I’ll show you!” I assure her. Looking around, I figured it was a pretty nice place on the inside; but the government had money. “It’s kind of nice in here though… I don’t want to set the place on fire…” With a sigh, I decide, “wind it is.” I look around for something to knock over, perhaps a table, chair, or something. I could always blow open the doors to prove it or put a dent in the walls. I assumed since we were standing here and she hadn’t pulled me to the side that I would be doing my demonstration here. I frown murmuring to myself while looking around the room, “there’s no good targets here… I guess the guard that hit me will do…” Looking to him, I ask, “sir, can I hit you as hard as I can in your stomach?” The man looks at me for a moment and then laughs. “Kid, you’re on. I’ll give you 5 bucks if you can knock the wind out of me,” he laughs looking to his buddies in a chummy manner.

The guard looks to Izumi when she speaks, and then frowns at me as if I had done something wrong. But still, she said there was no need for me to show her, so I guess that meant she accepted things? Jose is quick to stand up and smiles, “sure Izumi, let me get that for you.” It was obvious in his tone that he was happy to do something for Izumi and was probably thinking this was getting him one step closer to getting her out on a date. As the tweedle dumb proceeds to fetch the water, I look to Izumi and ask, “okay, so if there’s no need to show you, you understand right? I guess you’re at work now, or something, so you want to meet up later or something? Ashram normally took me into the forest for this kind of thing, but for you, I guess you can just take us anywhere, right?” I didn’t really know how to read the situation, but at least she wasn’t punching at me, which was a good thing. It didn’t bother me as much as it would if she were a guy, since I was used to Natuski abusing me.

The voice comes in loud and clear as it would seem like she is yelling at me with no outward indication. I look around as the sound comes in, wondering if there were a clone of her standing behind me or something, but after a moment, I realize that she must be talking to me with her mind; that was so cool! From her words, I gain that she didn’t want me going into detail about her at work. It was pretty easy to come along the thought line that blowing her cover was something that she didn’t want me to do and there seemed to be a good amount of passion in that desire. I didn’t know the reason why she wanted to keep something like this a secret, but I give a sly grin as I realize that was something that could be leverage. Still as she spoke mentally, I tried to get a handle on how she was doing it. Ashram had only gone into the elements. He had hinted into other magics, but did not go into detail; I had no basis on which to attempt to analyze Izumi’s psychic abilities. With the tone she had taken, I figured I should lay off her a bit and go along with things for now. My purpose is so that hopefully that would put her in a better mood for when she got off of work. I decide that I wouldn’t try to blackmail her unless she flat out rejected me, and judging from what I’ve seen of her personality thus far, she would probably rather I told on her rather than succumb to being blackmailed; though that could happen too.
As her ending words come in, I counter with a nod and agreeable smile on my face as I chime, “sure thing lady. Just be ready to teach. What time you cop secretaries get off? 5, like the rest of government?”
Around this time, Jose returns with a water bottle, handing it off to Izumi, offering with a smile, “here you go, Izumi.”

“Hmm…” I murmur, “an hour.” My arms cross as my gaze shifts to the side in thinking for a moment. An hour wasn’t really enough time to go and do something, but while thinking about it, I come up with something to do to fill that time. With a smile, I look back up to her and nod, “all right, I’ll meet you right out there in the parking lot in an hour.” My body shifts a bit as I rotate and point beyond the front doors. I assure, “I’ve got something very important to do that can fill an hour.” Looking to the large male who served as a security guard, I ask, “now if you will be so kind as to show me where the bathroom is. I have some business to attend to.” I rub my hands thinking about the onslaught I would render onto their toilets; the porcelain would be at my mercy. The guard scoffs and answers, “yeah right kid; there’s no public restroom here. Go across the street to the café for that.” My hands stop rubbing as a frown comes to my lips. “Ass…” I murmur under my breath before I nod and bid farewell, speaking, “an hour, parking lot. Sound good?” If that was good, then I would proceed along my way out of the doors from which I had entered into the building, to head across the street to poo poo.

Jose nods and confirms in a hushed voice as well, “I will get on the background check right away. Go ahead and go back to your office and leave it to me.” He gives a reassuring smile, “I’ll email the information to your computer as soon as I’m able to pull it up.” The other two security guards tip their hat and comment, “well it looks like things are under control here. We’ll be returning to our posts. Let us know if you need anything else.” With that the lead one turns around , commenting to the other, “that kid’s lucky he didn’t get shot and locked up… in that order.” The other chuckles lightly as he moves the conversation towards who would be covering his lunch shift. Things in the lobby seemed to cool down and return to normal at that point.
I would already have made it across the street. “Bathroom… bathroom… “ I murmur as I make it onto the side walk on the other side of the street. I see a few small establishments, one of which seems to be a small sandwich shop tucked between the larger more corporate buildings. I would have assumed a donut shop would be across the street from the pigs, but I guessed they liked sandwiches too. I make my way into the shop and walk through the main lobby. It had a moderate sized crowd inside and I find myself welcomed as I move through the lobby, by one of the workers by the cash register. With a smile and a nod, I point towards the bathroom and continue my way back to it. The door is opened, and I close it behind me after I get it. It was now the time for intense toilet training to begin.

During the hour wait, Izumi would receive an email from Jose who delivers the goods as promised. They would have been able to use the Division’s resources as well as facial recognition software to pull up the personal information of Asakano Seiki. His high school records would be the easiest to fine as well as his demographic information. He would be shown as an average student who graduated high school and went into acting instead of college. The information is given that he lives alone with his mother and that his father was killed by way of suicide, leaving his insurance dividends to his family after going unemployed. The report goes on further to detail that Seiki’s mother had been diagnosed with a seemingly incurable and unexplained illness whereas she was discharged from the hospital several years ago to live with Seiki. The tax information seems a bit iffy as the money from his father’s inheritance ran out and there was a period of time where the household income was unaccounted for while Seiki assumed the financial responsibilities of head of the household. Seiki’s outer family is briefly cross reference as no surviving relatives exist on his mother’s side, but there appeared to be some shady business on his father’s side, namely his father’s eldest brother who was believed to pull strings on a small time yakuza faction. There is a motorcycle registered in Seiki’s name and no criminal record. Jose ends the correspondence with “always there if you need me, Jose. XOXO.”
My elbows rest on my knees as I concentrate focusing my mental chi in an ability to reach out and speak to Natsuki. It doesn’t work, of course, but it does help with pushing out the last chocolate train from the station. There is an audible plop and I relax a bit, lifting my gaze to look at the bathroom wall in front of me. “How did she do that…” I murmur lightly. I stand from my seated position, my middle portion bear. Reaching to the side, I pull toilet paper and bring it to my ass wherein I wipe, look at it, wipe a small smear that accidentally got on the side of my finger, and then toss into the toilet. I repeat this action thrice before flushing the toilet, reaching down and hiking up my britches. With them in place I give a soft sigh and then walk to the door. Pausing for a moment, I turn back and wash my hands quickly before actually exiting. On leaving the bathroom, I look at my phone. An hour hadn’t passed yet, so from there, I decide that since I’m in a sandwich shop, I might as well get a sandwich.
I sit down and enjoy my meal, spending the rest of the hour eating a cold cut trio and watching the news on the shop’s visual screen. After I’m done, I deposit my trash in the bin and hit the door, heading outside towards the Division 12 parking lot. I would be 2 or 3 minutes past an hour, but I didn’t expect her to be exact when she said the time.

Three security guards stand behind Jose as he receives the email back from Izumi. “Much love!” he gloats as he points to it. The other guards shake their heads and start to walk away. “Oh yeah,” Jose jests, “it’s just a matter of time… wearing her down… wearing her down!” One of the guards retorts, “why don’t you wear down this floor with a mop; get back to work.” Jose responds, “don’t hate!”
Jyn looks to his cell as he gets the text. “Hmm…” he murmurs lightly, “I’m going to have to ask about that one later.” Trusting her and her judgment, Jyn doesn’t think much of it as he returns his cell to his pocket.
Approaching the large breasted woman, I see that she is already in the parking lot, awaiting my arrival. Much like anytime that I thought I was about to learn something new for the first time, I was giddy. I had quite enough of being weak, and aside from my competitive side which wanted to do well in any contest there was the side of me that knew that I had those around me that I had to protect. In the last few invasions of the city, I was close to powerless to keep those around me safe and ended up running away; that would not happen anymore.
I come within range of Izumi with a jovially cocky smile on my face as I greet, “yo! About ready to teach me some stuff? I was thinking about the whole mind talk thing, but then I decided that wouldn’t help against a monster or anything like that; that’d just confuse it a little bit. The teleportation thing would probably be best. If someone was attacking something too close to my home… zap! I could send it to the moon and be done with it! Do you do other stuff too?”

I pause as I come to her and the head shake occurs. “That’s a good shake, right?” I attempt to confirm, my gaze following her curiously as she leads the way towards her car. For the moment, my gaze shifts down as her back is given to me, and then back up as I move quickly to keep up after telling me to come with her. I wondered if she were like that with her boyfriend. From what I saw of her demeanor, I pegged her for the dominant one in the relationship; probably the high heel and whip type. If her boyfriend was that officer guy, then he would probably be a push over. He didn’t seem to manly in my opinion of him.
I continue at paces behind her as we come to the car. My face brightens as I see her walk around to the driver side. “Whoa,” I grin looking from the car to her, “I see the cops pay you pretty well. I might have to come and work for the Division. Moving to the passenger side of the car, I reach for the handle and open it, getting in as ordered. It was a lot sportier than my bike, though it didn’t have the class and sophistication of my uncle’s personal vehicle. I didn’t put too much stock into the fact that we were driving and not flying, or warping, or something. I figured I could leave my bike here for now; the metro basically the safest places in the city. Leaning back and buckling up, I ask, “so, teacher, where are we heading?”

“A little drive…” I murmur lightly with my gaze on her for a moment viewing her profile. With a light sigh, I turn my attention to the front and relax in the seat with my gaze forwards, looking out the front windshield as she drives. Her voice comes in as the question registers. I’m quick to answer superficially as I state, “to kick demon butt, of course.”
Internally, my words don’t really match my feeling; that might be part of the reason, but not the full reason. It would have been great to have powers to battle against Nova with when he did what he did, but at that moment my martial arts would have amounted to squat against him. It was a castrating feeling not to be able to protect someone I cared about; through I didn’t want to get too deep into that kind of thing with a stranger. But still, the fear lingered in me that something like that could hit much closer to home. The police didn’t seem to be doing enough to keep the innocent safe and those who couldn’t take care of themselves. There was a time where hellhounds came so close to my house as my yard, and had Natsuki not been there with her gun, something bad could have happened to my mother who was in no shape to defend herself or escape. Aside from that, I didn’t have any real skills and if I wanted to perform the big jobs for my uncle to continue to put food on our plates, I knew I had to have some type of back up or chances were I could end up dead in a moment.
I continue in a lower voice, “…and to protect and take care of those I love.” In a more jovial tone, I grin, “Well, I’m not going to let those around me get hurt again, ever. Fighting is all I know, since I was little and now I find out that I’m not that strong. I’m not super smart or anything like that, so this is the only thing I have to help those around me.”
Something occurs to me as I ask, “hey… how do you have powers anyways? Why would you have powers? You’re like a nurse or assistant or something, right?”

The tone I was hearing now was a different from the screaming I heard in my head when she spoke to me telepathically. Still, she displayed a bit of this side before, I was just being pigheaded at the time due to my preconceptions of her. After thinking over it, she was probably a really nice person, though I didn’t care for how our conversation went in the past when I was warped. I could probably get myself to believe that she did it for my own good, but a thought like that would probably get me defensive and upset as I tended not to like to associate myself with weakness and helplessness. I nod slightly, turning to her as she spoke and back to the road when her words were done. “That’s cool,” I respond afterwards, “working to get by. But you’re like super pretty. I would have pegged you for an actress or a model.” Thinking over her earlier words, I murmur to myself, “born with it, huh? I guess I’m not as lucky.” I remembered that the swordsman did mention that power could be inside me and needed to be unlocked, but the lady next to me didn’t really look like she had to train or anything. Nothing about her said “work” since I superficially judged her as soft, kind and pretty. I simply assumed when she said she was born with her powers, that they came automatically with no work involved.

The word Overwatcher catches my attention as she speaks it. To me it seemed like something where ‘there could be only one,’ or a cool title granted to people who were more than ordinary people. Given the fact that she could do what she could, I knew that it wouldn’t be too surprising if she were something close to a demigod. If there were demons and spirits running around everywhere, I figured there might as well be angels too. I wondered if Overwatchers was a term for angelic beings. I never was one for religion or studying subjects related to spirituality, so attempting to figure out just what was what would probably just serve to further confuse me. I didn’t see why there couldn’t be too much good at first, but after thinking about it, I murmur, “it’s like eating too much ice cream…” Or having too much sex, or something like that. She shatters my notions of her having worked for her powers instead of it being simply a cake walk in achieving abilities. Since she had to work to make her powers stronger, it made her seem a bit more human than the title Overwatcher first lead me to believe. I wondered if, with enough work and effort, if I could get a cool title too. I didn’t know where they passed them out, but I figured if I were strong enough, I could make my own title: GARmaster.
With a nod, I comment, “so that’s how it is? So you’re all like… living two lives and stuff. That’s why you don’t want the people at work to know. I guess that makes sense. How many Overwatchers are there?”

“Hmm…” I understand as she speaks more about the implications of being special. So the Division was looking for people with magical skills? I guess it was an easy way to get a job, though the term easy would be relative. Still, I wouldn’t want to work for the Division since they were pretty police-like in their appearance and what I thought of them. I never really wanted to grow up to be a cop, much less a spirit cop. The one thing about cops was that, even though there were cops that went rogue at times and ignored the rules, there were still rules. I would rather deal with things that affected me and my family and those around me rather than being forced to do it as part of my job. Though it was a normal effort, I felt it would take time away from those I needed to protect and love the most.
As the tone of her voice changes, I turn my gaze from the red light ahead to the side looking at her and noting the shift. I wondered if the other Overwatchers were something like her family or something like that. Apparently it seemed to be something painful for her to remember, so I didn’t think it to be something good to ask at the moment. I decide to change the subject at that moment as I inquire, “so sensei, what type of teaching style do you have? I learned fire and wind from Ashram. You may have heard of him; he’s pretty awesome, but he’s in the past realm I think. He’s a really skilled swordsman; he even gave me one of his swords, even though I suck at using it.”

It seemed to me that she showed a bit of rationality when she starts off in a manner that makes it seem like she’s agreeing with me. From there, she loses me in some talk about balancing things. There was something said, that I translate to mean I had some type of balance in myself, maybe in a wax on wax off type of manner. I’m given some information about the carnival that I didn’t find to relevant, but figured it went to confirm that she knew a lot about spirits and stuff. Regardless to whether it was wrong or not, I had to assume she was right since I didn’t know about any of that stuff myself. I figured that I wanted the same things that other humans wanted, but it seemed from the way she spoke that the balance was something that didn’t care about peace. I wondered if it were an even more radical view to the point where, if humans pushed the equilibrium, she would attempt to ‘balance’ what I assumed to be her own race. With that thought, it brought back up the question to whether she was really human or something else. With her final words, I am thoroughly lost, so I am unable to help but ask, “how the hell do I restore the balance to the rest of the world? I’m just one guy.”

| | She figured she confused him with her talk and she looked at him just a second as she was taking a turn. "What can just one guy do? One guy can do a lot. One guy can bring people together. One guy can break people apart, and even one guy can bring together a nation." Her tone softened as she took in a breath. "Just being one guy, you can do a lot. You just need to open your mind up, like you said you know how to do fire and wind, and know a little bit about swordsmanship. You fought in that tournament, you survived all that you have gone through up until now. You done quite a lot. Though you won't be in it alone to help restore the balance. There are others that are going to help in bringing back the balance."
She began to pull up to the parking lot that was adjacent to the woods, they had covered a lot of distance in the time that they were talking. "If you help restore the balance it can very well save the lives of those you love simply because whether you like it or not, if nothing is done to stop those that are coming against the humans, then you all will just perish from this world all together." she never considered herself human, neither did she consider herself a demon nor a spirit. She was just something that was there to keep the balance in things. Even though upon all technicality she was human.

When she speaks, it makes me feel a bit better. After what I felt was pushing me off as worthless in the past, it seems like she acknowledges me here and that makes me feel a world of a lot better. Just that much made me want to hop onboard whatever it was she was doing. Thinking over her words, I nod in the belief that maybe I could do more than I thought I could. It kind of has the effects of a pep talk, though I am easily swayed when those around me were positive. As we pull into some place, she speaks more on the balance and it doesn’t seem to be such a cold and heartless thing. I didn’t really care for judges and those who didn’t have sympathy, but in the same token, I wondered if she meant for me to hold the same sympathy for demons? I did really hold the opinion that they needed it; they seemed to be naturally stronger than humans. After she speaks, I nod and assure, “okay, then I will do my best to keep the balance… I’m not 100% sure what the balance is fully, but I’m sure I can pick it up as you teach me. I’ll try my best, that’s for sure.”

“Okay,” comes the agreement after the moment of silence of my answer. Opening the passenger door, I step out of the sports coup closing the door behind me. Turning I look at her from across the car, watching her come around it and open the trunk. I watch as she pulls out the bag and weapon, surprised that she kept something like that in her car. “Wow,” I murmur, “I really need to find a way to keep my sword on my bike…” I walk around to the back where she was and comment, “that’s… pretty big.” I am told that we were going in and nod in response. I witness the change in outfits and see Izumi transform into a familiar suit that I felt I recognized from somewhere. After the moments she changed, I am silent and blink twice before suddenly breaking out in laughter and holding my side. “Oh my god!” I laugh, “you’re a real superhero! They really do wear crazy costumes. That is nuts!” She was the hottest super hero I had seen in a while, but still, the change was a bit much for me out the blue. “You have to warn me about these things, sensei! At least do the magical-girl change.” I rub my eyes attempting to calm myself with slight after giggles. In my mind I was about the belief that the earth would end before I found myself in one of those costumes.

Feeling a slight breeze, I realize after the fact what happened between the monk’s spade and my head. My hand lifts up and touches where it passed over and the strands were clipped; with that I instantly straightening up. When the question comes, I cough and cover my mouth with my fist and lean to the side as I explain, “nothing. A fly flew in my throat and I started coughing… heh… heh…” Watching as she makes way towards the forest, my eyes widen, “dragons!” Of course, the fact that they would probably be trying to eat me didn’t register; but the fact that they would be there and that, in my mind, I could ride them made me a little bit excited. I jog to catch up with her and walk along side of her as I agree, “hai hai. I got you.”
Walking along side Izumi, I would be watching the area around us. It seemed almost like I was heading towards the forest for the first time. My gaze shifts to the tree line of the area we were heading; I knew that there were all kinds of spirits waiting there, but in thinking about the balance and what Izumi said, I wondered if any of them were like me… only on the other side of the fence. I assumed there probably had to be a reason why the demons were coming to earth rather than staying in Onitoshi. With a nod, I assert to myself that they probably have either very ugly women, high taxes, or bad food there. I continue to think in my self-enlightening manner as I walk along side Izumi-sensei.

Coming into the woods, they were just as creepy in the day as they seemed to be at night. The unsettling feeling I had way back when I came here before made its way into my stomach. It seemed a lot different than the forest of the past realm. The past realm forest seemed dangerous, but naturally dangerous, as this area seemed to me to be a bit supernaturally dangerous. As her words come in, I nod and agree, “right. Open… got it!” I half expected something to happen; I didn’t think that we would be able to make it all the way to wherever we were heading through the forest without being encountered by something. As she continues to speak, I think about it. Becoming a clan member of a 1 person clan didn’t seem like that bad of a thing to me. “That would make us like family, right?” I ask. That could possibly change her title from Sensei to Oni-chan. A goofy grin comes to my face along with rosy cheeks. I had a nice full figured sensei type, minus the glasses, who could transform into a magical girl type while also holding a role as a big sister type. Rubbing my hands together, I cackle lightly about how my plans of the combined fetishes were coming to fruition. An exclamation point flickers as I remember Izumi-chan-sensei-nee’s words to stay alert. “Hey,” I ask, “can you sense stuff too?”
