I felt pretty accomplished to this point. I had given a piece of my mind to that dumb cop from the past, I had gone to the underworld and participated in a tournament where I was not eliminated in the first round, and now I had returned back to my time, somehow, to continue my training. I was feeling pretty good about myself. I knew I was nowhere near the league of ability as those other people in the tournament, but that didn’t mean that I’d be discouraged. It actually pumped me up. I knew that training on my own wouldn’t really do anything, so my plan was to meet up with other people with special powers to learn from them and increase my own strength. So far, I knew that I could use fire power and wind power. I would just have to work with both of those for now and try to pick things up from other people. I didn’t really know a lot of people with powers. Natsuki was pretty good with guns, but there wasn’t anything really supernatural about her. The cop turned out to be a pretty normal human and I hadn’t seen my master around in a while since he was probably still in the past realm. I did know of one lady who banished me to a village once who seemed to have an interesting power, though.

I stand before the Metro office of Division 12 standing in a mock pose with my fist on my waist. A cocky grin is across my lips as I figured the cops chick probably hung out here as well. Internally I think, “I’ll draw her out and make her teach me how to banish people” with a fist pump.

I cross the distance between the parking lot and the doors to the Division HQ, looking around and wondering if cops really needed a place this nice to be their HQ. After entering and looking around, my glare shifts to the front desk and I walk towards it. The male attending the front desk sitting behind a circular wooden counter holds a phone to his ear as he types something on a visual screen in front of him. Slamming my hand onto the chest high wooden counter and leaning my arm on it, I get the males attention and command, “give me the woman with the huge boobs!” The man jumps as if shocked in a ‘don’t scare me like that’ type manner, but then raises his eyebrow and says, “you mean, Izumi?... wait! You don’t have access to be in here. Leave before I have security escort you out.” I lean back then frown, “I pay my taxes! I paid for a portion of this place! If Izumi-boob-san is here, I need to speak with her!”

There’s a back and forth that gets security’s attention. Aside from them preparing to escort the ‘child’ out, a call comes to my new and shiny office for a heads up on the situation. The phone would ring to Izumi’s desk first.

As they entered the forest the feel of the area could be felt as different. The atmosphere between the woods and the city was like two completely different planets. Easily you can tell a different lifestyle was in this place. Izumi was quite natural to it as this was her home and someplace she grew up in and followed it's teachings even after her recovery. Her gaze kept on ahead and stayed open not once allowing herself to blink. "Keep your eyes open, you wouldn't want to be surprised." She stated as she kept walking further and further in. "You know with me being your teacher, you'd have to become a clan member." She stated as she looked ahead, within her clan's ruins there were a vast multitude of scrolls ad books and amongst them was a joining ritual that had to be done for every new clan member before teaching's could even be passed on to another. "After you join, I can finally teach you thing's you probably can't really get by too often while being within the city."

Coming into the woods, they were just as creepy in the day as they seemed to be at night. The unsettling feeling I had way back when I came here before made its way into my stomach. It seemed a lot different than the forest of the past realm. The past realm forest seemed dangerous, but naturally dangerous, as this area seemed to me to be a bit supernaturally dangerous. As her words come in, I nod and agree, “right. Open… got it!” I half expected something to happen; I didn’t think that we would be able to make it all the way to wherever we were heading through the forest without being encountered by something. As she continues to speak, I think about it. Becoming a clan member of a 1 person clan didn’t seem like that bad of a thing to me. “That would make us like family, right?” I ask. That could possibly change her title from Sensei to Oni-chan. A goofy grin comes to my face along with rosy cheeks. I had a nice full figured sensei type, minus the glasses, who could transform into a magical girl type while also holding a role as a big sister type. Rubbing my hands together, I cackle lightly about how my plans of the combined fetishes were coming to fruition. An exclamation point flickers as I remember Izumi-chan-sensei-nee’s words to stay alert. “Hey,” I ask, “can you sense stuff too?”

She kept walking through the forest hearing his comment about them being a family. It did hit her just now, if he did join then they would be family essentially, not blood family, but family none the less. This would be quite interesting really, for not nothing would occur to them yet. "I am capable of sensing." she answered as she glanced about and then settled her blue eyes toward's Seiki. "So tell me about this Ashram you spoke about." she asked as she turned her gaze away to where they were walking towards.

“Mmm…” I kind of acknowledge in a murmur; since she could sense, that would help with walking through the forest. I felt a bit better about it now that I had a spiritual guide. As she asks her question, I think on it a bit before speaking bluntly, “I think he’s crazy…” I look down to the terrain we were covering, stepping over a root while resting my hand on the trunk of a tree before following behind Izumi some more. “But, I think it’s because of where he’s from. He’s not really used to the forest and people. I think he said something about a demon inside of him and he lives in the forest of the past realm. He told me that he lived in the future realm forest before going back there. He’s pretty rugged, a cool guy all over. He told me a story about a guy and a horse or something and it’s supposed to have moral. I’ll tell it to you!” I slap at my neck thinking that I felt a bug and continue, “there was this guy who rode a horse or something, and then he liked this girl who’s dad was like a politician or something. But the girl’s dad had a friend who liked the girl, but didn’t like the horse guy. So the dad sent the horse guy somewhere and I think the friend killed the girl, or told the horse guy that she was dead, so the horse guy rode into town to save her and was shot dead. The girl was really alive, I think, but she was all sad after the horse guy died…” I pause again, thinking I really butchered that story. I attempt to explain, “I think the morale was to not allow your emotions to rule you. I remember that part at least…” I could talk on and on about my master, but I pause long enough in case she had a response to the story.

She gave a smile as he was talking, it was quite a lively way to be around someone really. At least you know you won't really be bored with him around. He told her a little bit about Ashram who he took for a crazy but cool man. Then told her of a story which sounded like it was butchered in the manner that he telling it, but she managed to get what he was trying to get at. "Not to let your emotion's rule you, though I'd say that's quite impossible to do as it's apart of what makes you a living being whether you'd be human, or spirit, or even demon or angel. The only way you can't allow for your emotions for taking over your life from how I see it at least. You would have to be a robot of sorts." She flicked her hand through the air as she felt like some bug was floating around in front of her face. "there's stories of all kind's that tell you many different things, stories that tell you to follow your heart, story that tell you to learn from your mistake, stories that even tell you not to follow certain things. In the end it's still your choice to live your life as you please. Only you can make that choice."

As she talks, I realize that I never really thought of demons and angels as living beings. I thought they were dead, since I figured humans were the ones with lives. But then again, if they were animated, they would have to have some type of life, meaning that they would have to be undead. In thinking further, I conclude that demons and angels were the same as zombies. Nodding my head, I lock in my mental revelation. Returning to listening to her words, I nod and then attempt to offer an educated reply. I speak, “sensei, why are your boobs so big? I mean, you work out and stuff, don’t you?” I kick a rock on the path in front of us into the forest shrubbery on the side. I continue, “Don’t they get in the way or something? I mean they’re monstrous. I think Natsuki’s a C cup, and her summon… well her summon’s got to be at least a G… if they even make them that big…” If I were able to get this far in my words, I would continue on, “are you and that cop guy going to get married? The last time I asked if he were your boyfriend, you said no. It was back in the hot springs in the past I think.”

She didn't stop him this time and just let him talk. Responding back to him she stated. "You ask a lot of personal questions, so watch yourself or I'll make it that you can never talk again." She spoke without a break in her sentence and she stopped in her tracks. Her eye's glanced around as she glanced at the area. "Let's go this way." she uttered as she would take a right and proceed to move behind tree's along the way. "Keep up!" she stated to him as she kept moving. She planned to take a little detour to show him a few things along the way.

I grin a bit; I would like working this little brother angle. I didn’t think that she would be able to kill me if we were family; but then again, I remind myself to wait until that was solidified before I teased her any further. “Hai hai!” I chime in following her as we take the detour, making sure to keep my pace in line with hers. I wondered if she really could make it so that I couldn’t talk. Either way, I thought she was a pretty nice person. After I was finally able to come out of my shell in my senior year of high school, I prided myself on being a pretty friendly person, even if I came off a little airheaded. As I follow behind her, my smile lowers from my face and I gain a more serious look as I have a random thought about something personal. I look down for a moment and am a little quieter as we continue our way into the forest. In my following, we seemed to be getting further into the forests. The last time when I had come here, I had only gotten about twenty yards or so into the forest before we ended up getting lost, separated, and attacked. That was the first time that I noticed something odd with Natsuki. I didn’t know back then that she had the power to summon as well, and I certainly didn’t know who her summon was at that time. I look around to my surroundings, attempting to find identifying marks on the trees, or small things that I would notice having lived in the past realm’s forest for several months. There were things that I would notice now that I would have never noticed if I hadn’t been trapped in time.

Her voice came out as she spoke just about a whisper just loud enough for Seiki to hear. "There's something around here I'd like you to see." She took a left now and walked about 10 yards before taking a right and soon a odd upslope began to appear and rise up high and Izumi went up, but as she went up she knelt down and walked almost in a crouch. "Keep low." she stated as she moved her staff from her shoulder so it was down at her side just vertical with the ground, until Izumi would stop, Izumi would lay upon her stop. "Have a look..." she uttered as she pointed down. Apparently the upslope led to a cliff side which over the cliff side was more forest ground and forest trees and so on, but down before was a large clearing to which resided what appeared to be a group of demons. The demon's were what looked to be creatures that move on all fours, their body colored in dark colors mostly black and blue, with sharp looking scales around their spinal areas and their faces elongates like ant eaters. "Keep quiet..." she whispered when he would get down next to her.

I listen up as she whispers to me. “Hai,” I speak back in a tone to match her own. After the turns I find myself moving up and told to stay down. “Hai…” I repeat as I lower my top portion and proceed in a crouching position. As she came to a stop, I did as well. I notice that we had come up upon a cliff’s edge. I look out at the vast forest beyond the edge of the cliff and for a moment I am impressed by the view from here. I come to realize that the view wasn’t what I was supposed to be looking at. I notice the demons that were down below, and for a moment, I attempted to recognize what type of animal they may be. I determine that it wasn’t any type of animal I had seen before and could safely assume the creatures below were some sort of demonic spawn. “Eww…” comes the whisper as I settle next to her.

There were a total of about seven, and only two of them were larger than the rest. She heard his comment on 'ew' as she shifted her gaze at him and then looked back towards the demons. "You see those two large ones, there the parental figure to those smaller ones." the demons weren't doing much, the two large ones were resting against the ground like a sphinx statue and the others looked to be wrestling one another making like animal noises in the process. "It's a family...." she uttered softly. "Father, mother, and their children." She spoke in whispers the entire time. "Us even being this close is ground's enough for them to kill us..."

As she looks to me, I am quick to be quiet as I assumed I had said ‘ew’ too loudly. Instead she starts to explain something to me. Listening to her, my gaze shifts back to the demons as the revelation of her words come in. “Hmm…” I nod as she explains this to me. Thinking about it, I take it that she is explain to me that we are not too different from the demons here, much like they are kind of like endangered species. They had a family structure like humans would and at the moment we were encroaching on their land. My face shows concern as I ask the first question that comes to my mind and whisper back, “but… why don’t they live in that Onitoshi place? Isn’t that where they come from?” My gaze shifts back to them after asking the question. I wouldn’t take back my ‘ew’ since they weren’t the cuddliest things, but I suppose if you tilted your head a certain way and squinted, one could say they have the same properties as something cute.

Izumi would stay watching the demon's with care as she would listen for his response. He was asking about why don't they live in that Onitoshi place. "Who knows for certain. It probably wasn't suitable for them to live there anymore or this place was just much more accommodating than that place. Usually no one really stays in the place they were born forever. I was born in The Deep, but currently today I live in the city. So various reason's it could have been to have lead them to living here." After this she began to crawl backwards. "Come on before they smell us..." she whispered as she crawled backwards slowly and kept low as she was moving her way back down where they came up and started to lead the way towards where they were originally heading for.

I listen to the reasoning she gives me and attempt to imagine what it would be like to permanently live in Onitoshi. I was born and grew up in the city, so I didn’t really see what would pull me out of my realm to go into someone elses; but I did see how Yochi was a hundred times better than Onitoshi, at least in my opinion. Spirits would have a pretty good reason to stay in Yochi since we had Moonbucks and stuff. As she speaks for us to move on, I give her a nod and lift up a bit to follow behind her and away from this area. From the incline, I move back down to the normal level and am able to stand up fully in the area where the trees were just before we made the various turns to get to where we were. Stretching out a bit, I walk ahead a bit before I turn and look to her for the direction we would be heading. “Izumi-sensei,” I ask, “since you’re Over watcher, does that mean you have to be one for life, or do you stop when you get ready to start a family and stuff?”

She took a deep breath and stretched her arms out as she released her breath. "You're one for life. When you marry, they become apart of the clan as well, unless you don't want them to be it really depends on the wish of the Over Watcher, but once your one your one for life." She wondered if that was going to bug him being one for life. Well they would continue their venture further into the forest and would get deeper and deeper with every step. Some time would elapse as they were getting in quite deep into the forest, but still not quite there.

“One for life,” I murmur in a repeat of her words after she says them. Being an Over Watcher didn’t seem to interfere with her life too much; overall I figured it must not be such a big deal. She would just have to watch from home, I would guess, and preserve the balance from there? I came to the conclusion that I would understand more as we went along with things. I continue to follow behind Izumi as we get further and further into the forest. As we do so, I attempt to focus on the forest around me. I heard rumor that there were passive spirits all around in the forest and some in the city too. I forgot what they were called, but they were supposed to be like peaceful and just float around. I saw them from time to time, so I had pretty much gotten used to them. I didn’t see any around me at the moment, but I wondered if there was a reason for that. I knew that Izumi held magical powers, so I attempt to focus on her, seeing if maybe I could feel something from her. It doesn’t really work that well, but it seems like I can feel a soft sensation radiating from her body that was hard to describe. I figure it to be all in my head, not paying it any attention for the time being. Something suddenly hits me as I speak up for a moment asking, “Izumi sensei… can I have a moment? I need to use the bathroom.” I didn’t think she would like it if I just whipped it out in front of her here; I would want to find a big tree to put a bit of visual room between us or something.

They proceeded, well they would have if Seiki didn't need a moment, she stopped in her steps and looked back at him blinking and she nodded her head. "Alright." she uttered as she looked around the area for a moment as she didn't seem to sense anything coming their way, nor did she see anything coming their way. She would wait. "For now your safe, so do hurry." she kept looking around, slightly edgy as though something was wrong with the area.

“Okay!” I agree with a nod, glad that I didn’t have to do it right here. “I’ll be right back,” comes the verbal agreement as my body turns away from her and proceeds towards the thicket. Moving past the shrubbery and a particularly large tree, I round it and look towards Izumi keeping a visual on her. I mentally secure her location in my mind; the last thing I needed to do was to get lost in the middle of these spiritually tainted forests; therefore I stayed relatively close to her, or at least within eye shot of her. I could still kind of feel her location in a fuzzy kind of way, so I figured as long as I had this gassy feeling, I could assume she was nearby. Turning back around the tree to put it between us, I face it as I pull down on the zipper of the faded relaxed jeans and allow myself freedom from its confines. After coming out, I proceed in liquidating the ground at the roots of the tree, feeling an immense amount of relief in the action. I was always weary of peeing in the forest, however, since I’ve often had the phobia of having a large mosquito land on my junk and bite me. I had no clue how I would respond in said situation, but I knew it would be a traumatic experience in my life. The sound of liquid hitting the ground continues to flow for twenty or so seconds before it stops. I flick it twice, inspect, and flick it twice more before pulling it back into my jean and zipping back up. “That was good…” I say blissfully as I come back from around the tree looking to where Izumi was. I weight the idea of speaking a joke about seeing a snake, but I figured that type of thing wouldn’t amuse her, so I keep it to myself. If she were still where she was when I left, I would return to her and cheerfully announce that I was all done and would continue to follow her.

This feeling didn't leave her at all, and she wasn't liking it. She kept looking around sensing out as far as her senses would allow her to sense. She could feel Seiki near by, but that wasn't what was worrying her. Finally Seiki came back and a large energy signal popped up in her mental radar. As soon as he announced he was done, Izumi spoke before taking on. "Run!" she stated as she would start running, she knew he would follow quickly behind her since she knew more about the forest then he, but exactly what were they running from? A loud groan could be heard echoing but nothing could visibly be seen at the moment.

After jovially returning and announcing the completion of my wee wee process, I look to Izumi’s face to see a lack of amusement. Knowing her to be a kind person, I would have figured, she would have humored me at least a little bit. As it turns out, her interest and displeasure was due to something else. I too felt a large spiritual pressure, but to me it kind of felt like gas, so I figured I just needed to let one loose in order to get back to being right. She orders for me to run and then takes off; not needing to simply stand there in a stupor, I decide that blind running was better than asking questions or trying to assess the situation. If a person in is a crowded park and people start running, it’s normally for a reason. Wasting no time in self mobilization, I find myself on Izumi’s heels moving rapidly over the forest terrain. While running, I would as the obvious question between huffs, which would be, “hey sensei… why are we running?!” To me, I figured Izumi-sensei was very strong; if she was running I knew there had to be a really good reason as to why.

"Something incredibly dangerous!" was her only response as she kept running, though the creature would soon to be revealed as the loud sounds of trees being crashed into could be heard, almost as if the trees were exploding, this being the creature was crashing right through them. As if it were giving chase. It wasn't visible though, but suddenly when it smacked into a tree it broke through it came into sight. Showing it's grotesque form to which it was just a giant head and all around it's giant head were snakes coiling about as though it were some really crazy hair. Izumi glanced back just a moment and her eyes widened. "SHIT! ITS A GORGONIAN HEAD!" she would continue to run as if their life very well depending upon it, and started to take crazy movements, this wasn't exactly something they could fight.

“Oh!” I say as my steps continue in running behind her, more so understanding her words than getting the severity of what was going on. On thinking about it, I wonder what it could possibly be. I’m about the thought process of betting that if I punched it, things would be fine, but then again, that didn’t work to well against the large blob at the tournament. Whatever it was, it was making enough noises behind me for me to know that it was coming strong. The terrain of the forest wasn’t the easiest thing to navigate through, with leaves slamming into my face around each corner and me having no real understanding on where I was going or what was coming up. To make the transition from my feet to the ground easier, I murmur a light incantation to attempt to shift my ability to control the wind to my feet to lighten my steps a small amount. Since all I needed to concentrate on was running, I would use whatever idle concentration I had on what I was attempting. It made sense for me that if I were running, that wind would aid me much like fire does when I am attacking.

The Giant Gorgon's Head was still giving chase bursting through the trees. The large giant snake hairs flailed about and hissed and suddenly it went invisible again, at least until the gorgon hit into another gigantic tree to which the invisibility wore off and it was visible for a short amount of time again. Izumi kept running. "where is it, where is it!" she said to herself as she was looking for something. "Ah! This way!" she uttered taking a sharp right and leading Seiki and even the creature to a new destination. "Get ready to jump!" she yelled to Seiki as another uprising of the ground was coming, but this time a new sound was coming into place, the sound of rushing water. "When you land, head behind the waterfall!" she yelled again as she would continue to run until they got to the peak the gorgon still hot on their ass, but Izumi didn't look back as she didn't hesitate either to jump off the cliff and shift her body as though she were performing a dive from the high board down into a very large lake to which currently the waterfall was located to their right. Truly this forest was quite the strange place, a world on it's own.

Charged to keep up, I continue to try to stay in step with Izumi as she leads the way through these forests. Though I had gained a bit of information on how to navigate through the forest by living in the past realm for several months, we were moving so fast now that I didn’t have time to look at landmarks and other things. I would probably be totally lost around this time if I were on my own; I could only trust in the fact that Izumi knew these woods well, and I simply had her to follow and put faith in. I hear the order come in to be ready to jump, and I figured if I would be jumping, I would really want to have my wind abilities about me just in case I needed to buffer a several story fall from a cliff or something. The sound of rushing water meets with my ears as we near the cliff from which to jump. I see Izumi’s body go airborne and with a “shit…” my body follows suit as I leap into the air, going weightless for a moment before gravity pulled me down. Performing hand seals of all types I attempt to put together some type of wind spell, only to fail and belly flop into the large lake below. With a groan, and in much pain, I sink as I take a little bit of time to hurt. Composing with no air in my lungs, I pull my body up to break the water’s surface long enough to catch a breath and see which way the waterfall was. With that, I dip back below the waters and swim my way towards the falls.

The fall, well more so the dive. Izumi had been able to look back while she dived and watched Seiki come after and then the next moment came by like a blur and she sunk into the water and swam underneath it as she knew to take in a deep breath before hitting the water. Hopefully Seiki would make it to the falls without much of a problem. Izumi swam under the water and under the falls and moved behind it as she came back up. Behind the falls was a cave that was perfectly hidden behind the falls on all sides. She pulled herself up onto the ledge as she was catching her breath. Looking back she awaited for Seiki feeling his presence but also feeling the gorgon's head's presence. "Come on...." The gorgon floated over the cliff and looked down, it's eyes glowing red as it was looking for the two that it was chasing.

After hitting the water and taking a moment to compose, I am able to locate the waterfalls of which Izumi spoke. My gaze shifts up to see something following and I knew that I didn’t want to linger too long or allow it to see me. Ducking back under the waters after taking a deep breath, I swim my way in the same direction of Izumi only coming up to take another breath before reaching the location. By this time I was totally drenched, since I was still inside water; my phone, unless water proof, would probably be toast by now as well as all the contents in my wallet being wet. I come up behind the wall of the falls as I take a deep breath and attempt to recompose. I hadn’t felt the feeling of being chased like that since running from the samurai warriors in the past realm. The whole fight of flight feeling was pretty intense for me. I notice that we would come up inside of a cave, and as such, there was solid ground that I could reach up and take hold of. I pull myself over the edge of the ground, coming out of the waters and to my feet. Looking down, I look at how my clothing sagged and stuck to my body, due to the weight of the water. I give a deep sigh and lean my head back as I channel my energy and murmur a light incantation that causes a close ranged emission of head energy to push from my body (Heat blast). The spell works well enough to be noticed and warms me up a bit, but unlike if this were a perfect world, it didn’t fully dry me, though it may have speeded up the process of drying up.

She would be sitting down leaning against the wall on the inside of the cave looking out toward's the waterfall seeing the water blurred shape of the gorgon head. She released a sigh when Seiki had finally appeared. She was tired and he was tired, running from that thing, it was understandable. She sunk down lower to the ground and gently laid her monk's spade onto the ground neck to her. "Glad to see you made it..." She uttered in a soft voice, but projecting it out for him to hear her. She was a bit pleased to see that he was still alive.

After attempting to dry myself, I give an exhaling sigh and place my hands on my waist and catch up a few breathes after doing a magic technique I wasn’t heavily skilled in. The running, at least for me, was light doing martial arts; I could do it all day, though the swimming was added cardio. But the magic, that was a different deal all together. After the danger of the situation died down, the adrenaline would start to decrease in me as well. Looking towards Izumi as she speaks, I grin and comment, “yeah, that was a lot of running.” My gaze shifts back to the thing on the other side of the falls; I wasn’t able to make out exactly what it was, but it seemed like it wasn’t going to find us in here, “you’ve got some legs on you, sensei.” Motioning to the thing, I ask, “do you know what that is?”

She gave a nervous smile as she merely just chuckled softly. "It's not what you call friendly." she uttered as she took in a deep breath and grabbed her spade and stood up. "Lucky enough we made it to Hope's falls, theres a secret passage in here that would lead us to my clan's home, but do keep close and don't wander off, it's like a labyrinth in there." She would turn toward's the cave. "That thing that was chasing us was a minion, it's called Gorgyn's Head at least that's what it's known as through history." She looked back at him and smiled softly. "Don't ever wanna fight it alone, never, ever." After that she would start walking.

I stand there with my attention to her as I listen to her words. I’m not really told what it was, but I figured the most important thing to know was that it was dangerous; whatever it was. I didn’t really get a good look at it, so I figured if I came across it again, I was toast. With that thought, I wondered how she had first come across knowledge of such a beast. Since she was the last of her clan, I figured it might have something to do with that fact.

Looking around the area we were in, I mentally store this place as Hope’s Fall. I had no clue where it was, but was glad that it was here. I figured I would have time to explore and get a feel for my surroundings as things went on. The elatedness lowers considerable as I come to find out that we were now in a maze and that I had to stick close. I took this as more danger, but I felt that perhaps it was building character in some type of way.

After we get started into the cave, the thing is clarified a bit. “A gorgyn’s head,” I repeat at a murmur as I walk behind her. “Okay,” I agree, “if I see one, I’ll try not to fight it… but couldn’t you just teleport it somewhere, or bash it really hard? Are they really that strong?”

She would start to lead in as she would respond to his question. "I could have, if I was able to catch it, but it's far to quick and it holds a dreaded ability to turn thing's to stone. So trying to catch something that constantly is moving is quite a pain when your alone. You heard how it was just bursting through the trees and didn't even appear to be slowing down, not even in the slightest." She seemed a bit aggravated by this thing. "All it really is, is a giant head, with a tangled mess of snakes for hair. What makes it more irritating is that the snakes are alive, there not simply there for decoration, so you not only have to deal with the face, but also the hair as well. Some real nasty creatures they are." she uttered as she kept moving keeping her sensing open to make sure Seiki is after her. "It's only vulnerable when it's visible, and it can move while it's invisible like it slips into some sort of pocket space of some kind."

I continue in my saunter as I follow behind and listen. As she described the thing, I begin to wonder more and more why something like that would even be on this Yochi. It seemed like something that should go extinct, and I could only wonder what would happen if something like that got lose in the city. “It does sound nasty,” I agree with her as I nod my head, “well, I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t try to turn around and punch it.” I grin slightly joking about it, but slightly serious at the same time.

"It's also a good thing that thing would never get into the city, For some reason it only seems to materialize within the forest, my guess is because of the special spiritual energy gathered within this forest attracts them far more than the city." Of course there was more to the gorgyn head, she did state that it was a minion after all. "Well no matter, it shouldn't worry us any further, but do keep in mind, don't fight it alone." she stated as she lifted her spade and rested it over a single shoulder letting her arm hang on it loosely to keep it in place.

I feel a bit relieved when she says that something like this would never be in the city. The fact that the forest held special spiritual energy seemed to make sense to me since Ashram came here to train. I wondered if that were part of his secret; I had trained my entire life with martial arts the ordinary way, but after being teleported to a forest for a few months, I found myself able to use magic. I wondered if maybe it was something to do with the trees or something like that. As she finishes her words, I nod and emit, “right! Got it.” If I found a head filled with snake for hair, I was to run and not look at it… at least for now. I figured that there had to be a way around the stone thing, through I did not know it yet. I continue to follow within the murky caverns behind Izumi. I wasn’t convenient enough with my ability to use fire to hold a flame for light or anything; I could just blast things. That was proof from my mother that I needed to hone my skills more. I remembered that when driving, she taught me that it is harder to drive slowly than it is to drive quickly.

she continued to walk through the maze as she added in a bit more info about the gorgyn head. "Oh and just so you know it's only a familiar... that gorgyn head that was chasing us, it was only a minion." She had sighed. Finally that had come to a door, a rather old looking door rather decrepit and holding a bunch of ancient runic symbols along it and in the dead center the Hiramoto clan symbol, the same one that was upon Izumi's back. "Welcome ..." It sorta hit her now, her phone wasn't water proof, hopefully Jyn hasn't called her, he may be really upset after this. Placing her hand upon the seal it began to glow and rumbling noises could be heard and the door slowly opened revealing a rather high view of what looked to be an extremely complex looking maze. "...to Pandora's Box." The maze was extremely complex looking and it wasn't small at all it was extremely massive almost like it was a city on it's own, by the looks of it, it appears that if you got lost in here you would never get out.

The stroll continues as I am informed that it was a small fry who was after us. If that was the small fry, then I certainly didn’t want to meet whatever was greater than it on the food chain. I pause as we come to the door and look upon it. I recognize the similarity in the symbol on the door with the one on her back. With the welcome, I smile, finally glad to have made it to our destination. With the addition of “Pandora’s Box” I frown, dreading that there was more ahead. With a name like Pandora’s Box, I could tell that the cake walk probably was far from being over. The massive labyrinth spans before us and for that moment, I feel very small; to think something like this was underground… I found the overall scope of the area staggering. “Heh…” I emit out shyly in looking at it before I come to a realization in asking, “hey… can’t you teleport?” I knew the answer to that, or at least thought I knew the answer. If she could transport me from one place to another, I figured she could probably do the same with herself and others with her. I wondered if the walking was some type of test, or if there were special reasons in place why we couldn’t simply warp to the location. I was wet, tired, and hadn’t eaten; I knew training would be hard, but we hadn’t even got to that point yet. It’s not until after I ask that I make the effort to not sound whiny and allow my teacher to think that I was weak or tired.

“Heh,” I utter, figuring that to be as good a reason as any. I return the light smile, allowing it to fade after she turned and started walking to the maze. I grin as I think to myself that unlike her, I didn’t have two large breasts to sustain my body when my reserves ran out. Overall, we had been walking for some time; I wondered if Natsuki or my mom was wondering about me now. I had originally just wanted to train somewhere for the day and return when night came, but looking at my current situation, I didn’t know if that was even possible. I had no way of telling how far I was from the city or in which direction it was. While walking I ask, “but I’ll be able to teleport after this, right? I mean, if I needed to get back home in a hurry?” Continuing my questions, I ask, “what is teleportation? Is it a spell like my fire is, or is it something different?”

As I continue to walk behind her, I admit, “I’m not much for philosophy. I don’t really understand complicated things, so I guess the easiest explanation would be the best. I failed science, so there’s really no reason to go into that type of explanation.” I rub the back of my hair and chuckle lightly and in a modest manner as I continue to follow her lead in this.

So it seems like the easiest explanation would have to be given to him in order for him to understand about the teleportation spell. So she would have to go with the magical way to explain. "Well teleportation its like how you would do your fire spells, it runs almost along the same thing except that it falls into a different category of element." She paused a moment as she stopped walking and looked at the passageways as if trying to remember which was the way. "Though fyre is of a nuetral magic class, my teleportation spell falls into something more dark, it falls into a black magic class to which is belongs to a element known as void."

It lifts up, however, as I am told about the element of void; that was something that Ashram hadn’t gone over. “Void?...” I murmur as I walk behind her, “I see. So what does this void feel like? I know that fire is hot, ice is slippery, earth is grainy, water is wet… ey… How would you describe void? Can you feel it? Well, I guess with a name like void… um… wind tunnel?”

I think on it for a moment as I place my thumbs into the loops of my jeans while I walk. The answer to her question was ‘embarrassed, emasculated, and ashamed,’ but those types of descriptor words would not help any. I answer, “I don’t know. I felt very light… as if I didn’t exist for a moment. It was way too fast for me to really remember it or have a good grasp of how it felt. Hmmm…” Thinking over it, I wondered if that was how it was supposed to feel… fleeting. “Maybe if you use this void on me over and over,” I suggest, “I’ll be able to get a feel for it and then I can see for myself?” Of course, I didn’t think void was an offensive type of element; I just figured she would have to keep teleporting me over and over, or something to that nature.

"here we go..." she uttered as she pulled it and once she did a wall began to move open and slide apart as the room inside looked to be rather clean as though it is constantly maintained. "That's a way to put it, as if you don't exist. Really the void is merely a space where nothing really exist, though it splits you apart into very tiny pieces and moves you from one place to another, it's not really something that's painless, but you don't really feel the void, but mostly just yourself being split apart into pieces." She headed through this hidden chamber.

As she stops, I almost bump into her. I move back as I see that she had found something along the wall. Taking note of this, I then witness the walls being pulled apart from one another and for a moment find myself immersed in awe. “Cool,” I agree on watching it. My gaze shifts back to her as she continues her explanation. “Oh,” I say, kind of understanding what she was getting at. I didn’t know if I liked the idea of being split apart, especially in the learning phases of the spell. If I messed it up, I could only imagine what type of things it would do to my body. My gaze shifts back to the rather clean room before us as I felt a bit better to be leaving the maze and entering something more familiar.

After they both entered into the room the wall behind them would close up, this ropm was all white and made of marble, and looked like a worshiping place, except there was no statues of gods to worship. "right through here." she would lead him into another room and this room was circular and in the center of a room was a glowing circle. "This here is a portal, something made a long time ago, kept in place permanently by an ancient spell of my ancestors. It's pretty much the same spell I performed on you long ago, just kept permanently opened." she uttered as she looked to him. "This would lead to a basement on the clan's location."

As I walk in, the doors close behind me. I attempt to see the doors closing behind me without actually turning around. Ashram taught me to be more aware of my surroundings and to see without looking. Using this, I take in my surroundings while looking straight forwards, moving behind my current sensei. I would keep up with her movements as she continues to lead me through this new environment. Making it to a room in particular, I notice a glowing sphere in the center. I attempt to feel out to see if there were any magical energies coming from it; but that skill in me was still weak. With the explanation, I nod and assume we would be going through said portal. “They must’ve been pretty strong,” I remark, “to be able to keep it up, even after death…” It seemed a bit sad, almost as if it were a tombstone for them.

I'll be there waiting for you." she said as she placed her hand upon the sphere and the second she touched it, she disappeared only to reappear in the basement of her clan's ruin's she would walk away from the sphere and wait for Seiki to appear.

I look to her and then to the sphere. With a nod, I assure her that I would be right behind her. I see her place her hand on the sphere and vanish. I give the sphere and odd look as I examine it; it seemed strange and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I reach out gingerly for it, not quite touching it at first. I attempt to study it a bit, though its consistency and existence were far beyond what I could understand. After gathering my will to do so, I place my hand against the sphere fully and just as I do so, I find myself somewhere else. I look around to notice that I was in an area of ruins, though I had little to no time to examine the feeling I got from touching the sphere. “Odd…” I murmur to myself lightly after being transported. My gaze shifts to the side as I notice Izumi once again; it would appear we’ve both made it to our destination.
