| Alright, when you have a taint, do you have to do the xformation before you can use any of the techs, or can you use the techs with out having to do the xformation. | |

| » Summon Spirit This enables the user to call their summoned spirit out into the physical realm. It stays attached to the user, though it can act on its own. Effect: drain based on Transformation
» Disconnect Allows the physical separation of the Spirit from the Summoner so that they will both exist in separate physical bodies. In this form, the Spirit cannot venture too far from the Master. Effect: range = 20 ft per level
My question is, would the Summon Spirit ability be like a Spirit's Spiritual Impression Quest (though still attached to the user). If so, then wouldn't Disconnect (without summon spirit) be a like a Spirit who hasn't done Spiritual Impression Quest? [If this was already answered, could someone place the answer here?]

I'm not sure what the question is here, but they would both be physical from what I'm reading.

| Seal TEXP: 10 The ability to seal a spirit's influence within a host's body. This removes the ability of the target host to use Magix or Possession abilities. The caster must maintain visual contact with a target in order to seal it. It takes a post to start the spell and a post to end it. Effect: Seals, drain is Fierce, effect lasts 2 days per level IRL
1. This is honed so it lasts for 6 days IRL 2. Does this mean 18 days IC? since each day IRL is like 3 days IC. I think.

| With the Snayks Revitalization (listed below) would the new body be the same as the old or would it be completely healed or could it be a hole different body? - Quote :
- » Revitalization
With this ability, the user will be able to "grow out of themselves." If the user's body has been damaged beyond repair or is worn, the user will be able to spit themselves up a new body and the old body will be left behind in a sack of skin. Once performed, the user is fully healed even if the user is thought to be dead. A user is able to do this once every 5 weeks. For every level trained, a week is taken away from the time restriction. Effect: 100% HP, new body

| Since team techniques are a path reward, I think they are much like quest techniques and are simply given. They should only be trained if they are specified to have levels.
You don't need to roll melee techniques, they generally only judge how skilled you are in that package and can be compared to an opponent to see who is better or has the advantage.

| In some cases people don't choose their affinity until after they've rp'd for a while. An example would be a human picking a magix affinity. Their affinity is locked and they're unable to have that package added to their bio until they undergo some type of possession or class change. Surreal: "The affinity is the package as a whole so it should affect the introductory texp too."
Yes, you have to be in the tainted form or transformation to use their techniques.

| That's a good question since the technique description for Seal as well as the technique was created well before the relatively new concept of tainting. Though, taints by nature seem to be more so a reaction to something (in someone becoming tainted) than something occurring magically. If that were the case, then seal should be ineffective to it. I would suggest Untrans instead, which would easily negate a taint. | |

| Sonic Blade A secret technique passed down through the Sacred Hunters and circles of swordsmanship. The technique uses the wind as a blade projectile. A swift slash emits a razor sharp wind blade that is able to travel over a distance at a target. Requires: Weapon Melee Package Effect: damage is Fierce, travel distance = 10 ft per level, size = 2 ft per level
I would just like to know what type of blade it is. Is it like a blade wave its liner path dependant on the angle its thrown?
Like if someone slashes horizontal at a person, would it hit the entire body or just lets say the Mid section? cause im a bit confused. I know it seems kinda simple but, not in the way im seeing it being used..

| The description says that it's razor sharp, so I would assume that it is a thin blade of wind, probably about the thickness of the sword used with a width, or length, equal to 2 x the user's level. With the travel distance, it would go 10 ft per level until the technique dissipated. For example, if it is slashed horizontally, it would be a blade of wind 2-10 feet wide, or if it were slashed vertically, it would be a blade of wind 2-10 feet tall; it would travel 10-50 feet before fading away. | |

| Actually I got the Devil's Teardrop from the Kurofono shop way back before he said humans couldn't get limited items. I say that because I used my starting gear quest to get it. The custom technique did not afford the weapon. That's why I'm asking. The quest I got the weapon summoning thing was Regretful Following. As it had been done when I was a Hitorinji shin gave me the weapon summoning ability. He also gave me that because I asked him about something that would allow me to summon a weapon so I didn't have to have it on me at all times.
So again, Shin, is it limited to the Devil's Teardrop or will it allow me to summon any weapon I have owned?

Also, for Ascended Mode, is that supposed to be it gives you 10% HP back or 100% HP back b/c if it's only 10%, wouldn't you basically be KO'd again the first time you get hit by... anything? Since +0 results in 10% dmg.

| For Tyme Package, Foresight... how exactly is this supposed to work when you get into the 30+ seconds range? I have this one and I realized that I can't really ask someone, "Hey, what was your character going to do 30 seconds in the future?" I mean I've normally used it to time an attack or evasion since I would know that was coming, but in all honesty that could be with Novice or Trained status' time limit.
For Rewinding Restores, in post count terms, how long is 12 seconds? Most posts seem to move rather quickly once the fighting gets started and the monologues stop.
Thanks. | |

- For Tyme Package, Foresight... how exactly is this supposed to work when you get into the 30+ seconds range? I have this one and I realized that I can't really ask someone, "Hey, what was your character going to do 30 seconds in the future?" I mean I've normally used it to time an attack or evasion since I would know that was coming, but in all honesty that could be with Novice or Trained status' time limit.
For Rewinding Restores, in post count terms, how long is 12 seconds? Most posts seem to move rather quickly once the fighting gets started and the monologues stop.
Thanks. a. use it like you've been using it. the only part that actually matters in most attacks is like... the second it hits you... unless someone takes a min to set up an attack b. 12 jabs
